Prepare yourself legally and fairly, and try being as honest and kind but firm as possible. Best to leave things even 1% good instead of burning the whole house down.

Are you good roommates? If you already tried that and still dread going home you may just want to open the door to that conversation. Believe in you, you’ll need to do a lot of that after the divorce as well. I’m here if you ever need to vent bud 👍🏽

Either choice will have its struggles and joys. The grass seems greener but sometimes the grass on the other side needs more work to maintain green. Unhappiness for both of you is horrible in the ultimate. I would suggest sleeping in separate rooms. If you have a basement, move in there. Maybe she is still your best friend that you can’t live with, or without. There’s always a way to move the dial without breaking it. I wish you the best of luck.

I say this with all due respect. Would you rather it be her next partner that does the carrying at water parks as opposed to you?

Personally she may have reached a point where she just desperate to be a good mom and is looking at the room sharing situation as something she’s willing to deal with. Remember you guys aren’t together for a reason. It sounds like you want it to be a reconciliation but she made it clear that it’s not that

Go and get your own room. It will be super awkward and could make things worse to be jammed in a room together for four days. Just my two cents

My soon to be ex wife was a wonderful person. We disagreed on having kids and split. But overall i was forced do a lot of self reflecting and she was patient with me through that process. I wish we could have made it work

Why do you have to block her? Is she harassing you? Honestly you should have her unblocked and just screenshot and keep track of any harassment. There’s no way you can co parent like that, no telling how it’s affecting the kiddos. Best of luck to you

Wow, it seems worlds different then my situation. My wife and I had lots of ups and down but the reason we’re splitting is because she doesn’t want kids and I do. She’s very apologetic but it’s been going okay. We each have 401k but have both said the only thing we want is to split whatever is made on the house. I fee for you and I’m sorry you’re going through that

Do you mind me asking how it went sideways for you. The reason we wanted to put no is because there was a lot they wanted to know about the value of the house and we wanted to just handle that separately and get the divorce over with. Thank you for your kind and relatable advice. I’m looking for a lawyer to have ready just incase

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
