I agree with everything you posted here, but I have to admit, I've had opportunities to get with a girl who was in a relationship, and I've always refrained from it. Not that I believe cheating is immoral. To be honest, I'm pretty positive that, when getting with a new girl, you're probably cheating on a dude somewhere, whether you know about it or not. (Edit: and NOW I read the last paragraph in your post. Heh...) Anyways, my main concern is always the potential backlash. In your experiences, w…

This entire subreddit has turned into trash. It's like a god damn AA meeting here now.

Mainly past personal experience and a trend I've noticed across different types of girls. Think tumblrina/SJW. I mean, look at how she handled the situation in the first place, and she still thinks she has a good reason to respond sarcastically. Superiority complex like nobody's business.

I stopped reading when I saw the sentence "Wow." One of my personal red flags right there. Soon as I hear a chick say "wow" as sarcastic surprise, she's immediately dumped into the "I wouldn't fuck her with someone else's dick" zone.

Going to the gym and becoming fit is absolutely a game-changer, for multiple reasons. First, looking in shape definitely increases your chances for positive interaction with women AND men. I know this, because I've experienced it first hand. It doesn't even take much, either. If you go to the gym, and look better than you did three months ago, you'll see the change in respect, especially when interacting with strangers. Second, going to the gym has definite positive mental effects. It's like it …

Jesus, lost 3 pounds, yet 3% body fat. This makes me feel better. Been going to the gym for 6 months now, lost 10 pounds in the first few weeks, and have been hovering at 185 pounds ever since. I've definitely put on more muscle, but dammit if I don't feel like I'm losing this gut. How have you been measuring yourself to determine your body fat percentage?

That's fine. I think I've given you all the information I can give you that's necessary for you to make gains and not hurt yourself in the process. What you do with it at this point is up to you. That said, if you do happen to lift two days in a row, like you'll end up doing Sunday/Monday, make Sunday an easy day. Lift, but drop 10 pounds from each set. That way you'll be able to still perform on Monday. Here's something important: the lifting is only a catalyst, the gains are made on your recov…

Okay, sorry for all the replies. I just saw that you already run monday-saturday. If that's already your routine, and keep at it. I would just do the lifting on alternating days. E.g. M/W/F/Sun/T/Th/Sat. Or if you want sundays off, then stick to M/W/F. After a month you can throw in Saturdays if you want that extra day of lifting.

Also, ALTERNATE your days. Do cardio one day, lift the next, then cardio again, lift, etc.

lol I think that was me. And when I say groups, I mean "Arms", "Back/Shoulders", "Chest", "Legs", etc. Arms would be biceps/triceps, legs would be quads/calves/glutes, etc. To be honest, I'm not very familiar with the actual muscles involved, I'm still learning all that. But, basically, you don't want to do two chest days in a row, for example. This is for advanced routines with supersets, and are usually mid-rep/mid-weight. Basically, 3 sets, starting at 12 reps and 40% of your 1 rep max, then …

Not when it comes to lifting. If you accidentally go over one of those limits, it can result in serious injury, ESPECIALLY early on. Trust me, losing time in the gym because of an injury sucks. Your first couple weeks at the gym your body has to get used to just doing the exercises, let alone with added weight. You can't begin to press your limits until you acclimatize your body to the exercises. That's going to take weeks. I've also done full body circuit exercises back to back on days, and I w…

Okay, good luck. That over zealous attitude may end up getting you injured. And then you'll be wasting time recovering from injury and not being in the gym because you fucked yourself up trying to get gains faster than your body will let you.

There's a certain irony when it comes to approaching women without the intent of getting laid, and I don't think enough guys realize this. Or if they do, they have a certain inability to turn off that sudden desire to fuck when they think things are going in their favor, even when it may not actually be true. I try to look at it like pulling the trigger on a gun, like they taught me in the military. At first, you should be squeezing that trigger so slow that when the round goes off, it surprises…

It applies to both. If you want to take cardio and lifting seriously, do both at least 3 times a week. Also, may want to reread my earlier reply. I just edited it like 10 times.

For starting out, I would recommend a full body circuit workout, but you have to do those every other day. It's best to have a 24 hour rest period for each muscle group. You could fill your off days with cardio, so you're doing something 6 days a week. If you want to do cardio on the days you lift, do it after your workout. Also, minimum of 3 days a week. I've been told going less than that, you won't really achieve much. I don't know how true this is, since I do go at least 3 times a week. But …

Find a circuit set, consisting of 3 sets of 5. This site: http://www.ironaddicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12663 has some good examples of beginner routines. Pick one that you think will work best for you. This is what I started on, did for about 4 months until I started to plateau. The first two weeks, I felt like a bitch, but after that the gains started to become apparent. Subtle, but apparent. Consistency is key. Also, before I started sets of 5 reps, I tried to do my gym buddy's workout. …

I think that I greatly benefited from my learned/innate independent nature. I never could eat shit from others, even if I was my own worst critic when young. I saw myself as weak but everyone else as even worse. This was a bad choice long term but overcoming a critical inner voice is a story for another day. You really caught my attention with this. I'm super interested in hearing more about this, as I find myself in a similar situation. Specifically, seeing myself as weak, but everybody else is…

When you come to terms with this shit, you'll realize there's only a few key behaviors involved when it comes attracting and dealing with women. The best thing you can do is learn to value respect, and not let a woman be disrespectful to you just because they have something you want. You've been bullied, so you know how it feels to be disrespected. Whenever a girl tries to do this and you get that gut feeling, you put them in their place and you walk away. This is much easier to accomplish once …

Not sure why you got downvoted, you make fair points. Although I do despise seeing shit happen to men like this, but, if there's been one lesson I really had to learn the hard way, it's that I'm ultimately responsible for my own actions. It's what got me to TRP in the first place.

I haven't bothered with politics because I hate political debates. Mainly because of where I live, it's not really debating. Much like telling an SJW her (his? are there any male SJW's? I mean, do those white knights and women defenders count as SJW's?) facts are wrong. They just spin it so they can keep believing it, despite overwhelming evidence otherwise. I've kind of figured /r/worldnews was mod heavy, though, since most of the stories tend to further the leftist's agenda.

That's kind of the purpose of this whole subreddit. To teach those that spending all that time pleasing a woman will almost always result in some sort of backlash; e.g. breakup, divorce, cheating, nagging, etc. Generally just some form of unhappiness. So instead, spend that time doing what you enjoy. If raising your SMV is what makes you happy, do that. If spinning plates makes you happy, do that. If going your own way, and focusing on yourself makes you happy, do that. But, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD,…

Yeah, I wouldn't have taken that so much as a shit-test, but more as an invitation. Some (if not all?) girls like being grabbed by the throat when they're getting fucked. She sounds like one of 'em.

Not to be rude, but you should be a bit more careful of what you're trying to say. Saying "I don't really approve" is like saying "I kind of disapprove." Not exactly the same of "I completely disapprove," but as you can see, there's always going to be someone that takes it out of context just to be an ass. I've found, almost ALL of the time, it's better to be neutral or just straight up not mention any opinion AT ALL, if it's going to potentially offend a majority of the audience. Maturity is a …

No, it's a ratio graph. Meaning, percentage of male vs. female. Meaning, lower percentage of females means higher percentage of males. It basically shows that men have a higher IQ required for jobs that require logical thinking vs. jobs that require creative thinking. Overall, it's not relevant to TRP, except to prove that men are logical thinkers, while women are creative/emotional thinkers.

Be careful, dude. 99% certainty really means you should be 50% certain. Don't commit too quickly. Like my military buddies used to say when I was stationed in Okinawa, they may just be looking for a ticket to the "land of the big PX."

Do you have a source to back that up? I'd like to read it. Edit: Found a source. So let me ask you this, if what you say is true, then can you tell the difference between an ovulating and non-ovulating woman in your day-to-day experiences, just by their appearances? Because their behavior is usually more heavily influenced by their hormones than subtle differences in skin tone. Just like YOUR behavior is more influenced by higher concentrations of testosterone. Edit: Found a source supporting wh…

It has less to do with you being more attractive, and more with hyper-vigilance (e.g. Paying more attention to a girl's attraction cues because you haven't fapped in a week.) Think about the difference between a woman and her actions during ovulation vs. afterwards. Kind of the same concept.

That's what I mean by the fantasy trap. Either you want to fuck a girl, or you don't. You can't have both at the same time. Believing you can fuck a girl by "not wanting to fuck" causes cognitive dissonance, and ultimately, one truth will arise, and it's usually the "want to fuck", for us dudes. This puts you right back where you started. Hence why you have to next the girl.

I'm glad you posted this. This helps me better understand why us dudes are supposed to "next" those girls we previously had severe oneitis for. I think the trap most guys fall into is the fantasy of turning around the friendzone thing, even after reading some TRP/seduction methods. "Maybe if I just appear more Alpha, she'll second guess herself, and things will work out like I originally wanted in the first place." The problem is that that is still beta thinking, because the plan is centered on …

It has less to do with women, and more to do with you. My turning point happened at my job. I was serving tables, miserable, and getting shit on by the rest of the employees. I finally hit a breaking point, one fateful Friday night. Every bone in my body told me I didn't want to be there, and I still spent time trying to convince myself not to do it because "It was irresponsible to walk out." (Echoing advice from other people.) I had been in this type of situation before, and every time before, …

Perhaps a better way to explain what 50-cal said is: If you're being romantic because you want to be romantic, than that's fine. (Just don't over do it, romance is always used best if it's not expected, or used as a surprise.) If you're being romantic because she demands it, then a line has been crossed.

Call her what you will, she taught me an important lesson. No matter what you do for a woman, if you're not banging her from the get-go, you're more than likely not going to be banging her while you're trying to kiss her ass. Besides, calling one girl a slut is calling 'em all a slut. They're only sluts if they banging everybody but you. And, to give her a bit of credit, she did pay for that bar tab that night. She paid for me to go see a movie with her on a previous hang out, as well. She did e…

Couldn't agree more. In this case, I was being used for my knowledge in IT. She recently moved into an IT position, and she hasn't a clue what the hell she is doing. So guess who was swooping in to save the day. Not anymore. You hit the nail on the head with the hamstering it as "that's what friends do." She said that verbatim to me, at one point during that night.

Well, ultimately, the blame is my own. So if that's scary to you, perhaps it's because you're afraid to take the blame when you end up in that situation. But, in any case, you need to take a long hard look at yourself and the situation, removing the expectations, and ask yourself, "Is she worth keeping around?" What I'm doing is giving myself some time to do the things I should've been doing, rather than waiting around hoping her feelings would change. I'm a monster when it comes to IT, but I've…
