What if the US sex tourist was 16? I often wonder about RP and the continual postponement of the various maturity thresholds society acknowledges. I talked to a school teacher this past weekend who was in his early 60s. He was telling me about how demeaning the faculty were to the seniors, calling 17 and 18 year olds children. It wasn't very many generations ago that someone that age would run the farm and shoot wolves while pa went on a trip to town. There are also a million amazing baby videos…

the root cause is the accepted primacy of politics over science/reason. It isn't as important as something actually be true, as long as you can get people to get agree with you that it is. Hacking instead of refactoring, liposuction instead of exercise, debt instead of discipline, sex change instead of facing RP reality, the world just keeps trying to prove that it can create its own reality. Its a sick god complex.

Is there a difference between practice misfortune and fasting? I wonder how many others are like me, a protestant who has marveled at both the amoral sexual strategy RP and this new wave of RP philosophy. The parallel with biblical concepts, but reformulated from a different starting place is fascinating.

I agree with points (i)-(iii), except that for (iii) I have more of an impatience than inability. It is frustrating to see what someone should do, to be able to explain exactly how to get from their mindset to one that supports what they should do, and then when they get around the corner and realize the effort, the backpedalling begins. I gave up.

If the meaning of life has nothing to do with novelty and eureka moments, then I understand nothing at all. The question is about the depth and repetitiveness of that novelty. When something is fully searched out, it becomes boring. Some people make a point of trying to sustain the mystery, because they are powerless to seek out the truly novel.

I'm not buying this at all. It is difficult, but a superior perspective to be aware of and not playing into a thing. Otherwise, isn't there a cognitive dissonance between how how woman are plotting, testing, and fishing for justifications, and the apparently lighthearted teasing that actually works? The game is played on two levels. There are the cards face up on the table and the hidden cards, and the hidden cards dictate the value of the ones of the table. It is a strange game and we should no…

I've lived in a third world country on a work visa. The unprocessed food is like eating the nector of life itself. The farmers are also too poor to use chemicals. If you want to get into the connection between non microbial medical conditions and food, we can. There is a flood of information just a search away if you cared to look. The BP story about cancer is that it came from nowhere and you are an unlucky victim. All resolution is focussed on removing the cancer, and the original cause remains. The RP story is that there is an unknown cause, and one of your improvements could remove the cause. Hold a frame of good health and your body will have to be your mind's bitch and do what it says and recover. As countries develop, their rates of cancer increase. This implies causality. This is great news for you, because if ther…

There are two kinds of mentalities that have this appearance, and they could not be more different. One mentality is Pride a.k.a Lawlessness. The unknown needs new control exerted. The flaw is that a foundation-less but agile being will inevitably be pursued to a dead end. Humility reckons with the unknown by listening to it and incorporating itself into the unknown and the unknown into it and it keeps becoming. The shifting of situations against the backdrop of infinite wisdom releases emergent…

Stress is definitely a state of mind. The difference when you resolve it is like going from plowing with a team of horses to using a pair of oxen. When the oxen get to a root, they will lean in with their weight and press through. The horses will yank repeatedly against the root until they tire. If you are thinking like a horse, you'll act like a horse, and you'll know what's coming before you even start thinking. That's a stressful mentality to try and solve problems in. Problem solving comes d…

Ive come to view humans not as Oh we so precious!!! to just as another species. There was a TED talk I saw where the guy talked about the evolution of the universe and stacking layers of information. Humans can create the imagined. We are recreating ourselves with AI and seeing inside ourselves through sophisticated observation. I can't use a term and say "we humans definitively have this and animals don't have it", but I have a sense of this more-ness that makes humans distinct from animals. Ma…

Often I hear the objection that even considering strategy in relationships is not okay. The christian is naively taught to be open and honest, which leads to beta behavior, when you discover what people do with that much information. The key is to be guarded and honest. Yeshua had a knack for answering questions with questions in order to divert conversations to motives. This was a shrewd reverse engineering of a person's mindset kind of action, which shares similarities in appearance to outright manipulation.

I was chatting with a friend about a mutual acquaintance and how his inability to recognize social cues helped him get his head cracked. We were both having good laughs about it. Although it was a matter of degree, this friend did the same kind of thing that very night and almost got a concussion from a punch to the back of the head. It was only after this way of approaching the issue that he was able to see my points about how he probably failed to recognize cues of an impending attack.

I like to repeat a person's own words back to them in a scenario where their own words judge themselves, or to lead them in conversation to judge a person and then concisely say, Like that time this happened to you... After a neighbor robbed me, I installed cameras with night vision and audio. It has helped me out in nearly every category of scenario since, and exactly the right people hate that it is there. There is a large warning on the front door of the house and the cameras are plainly visible. The times I talked to police, they never warned me about having cameras or expressed any issue with the visibility of the "you are being recorded" warning sign.

From its sidebar: The only morality is civilization. Any belief or ideology that works against civilization is evil no matter how well intentioned. Traditional values are not accidental. They are non-ideological social adaptations that provide good solutions to complex social problems. Cultures separated by vast amounts of time and geography independently converged on similar values. Values converged because cultures that implemented these values had a competitive advantage over their neighbors …

Fair nuff. David was a man after God's own heart, and he was a mischievous trickster at times, very opportunistic. Incidentally, David was also very red pill, but when he blue pilled during Absalom's rebellion, he almost lost his kingdom in the aftermath. Joab gave the king a command to stop crying for his dead brat son and act like a king again. Joab was pure 110% red pill.

You shouldn't be surprised at all. % mainstream secular advice given to men that is BP vs RP is probably pretty close to % of christian advice that is given from a BP vs RP perspective. Fact is, pastors spout truths they were taught from incomplete conceptualizations, and support the incompleteness by pointing out that the Bible is inerrent and is the words of Yahweh inspired to be written by the hand of human authors. This is blue pill. I have had ceaseless interest in justifying my own beliefs…

Reading Acts several times since the divorce, I realized that I've never actually been inside a "real" church. Imagine Peter cursing Ananias and Sapphira dead for lying in today's world. Imagine the scenario they were coming into with their lie about the price of their land they sold, where everyone was sharing everything with each other in a fairly decentralized church. Incidentally, this is why the kingdom of heaven is like the mustard plant in geographical distribution, and the enormous tree …

Counselors are very dangerous, because their careless words are used repeatedly afterwards. Stay away from them. Don't give up until she serves you paperwork or you can prove infidelity. If you stick it out with armed with RP and it works, you have secured an unlikely victory and will feel like the man. If you fail, you'll know there was no way to save it, and you can rest easier going forward knowing you did the best effort you could for your daughter. But really, I just want you to succeed, be…

It is good to grasp the one and not let go of the other. Whoever fears God will avoid all extremes. - Ecclesiastes 7:18 I browse both this and /r/exredpill. The contempt towards women because of the pain we went through as betas, the subsequent rejection of all beta behaviors, and the resulting shallowness of the newly forged alphas' interactions with women shows that RP is missing something by not forming a strategy which incorporates everything that they thought they knew and now know to be tr…

After I got to my fuckitall stage, I decided to burn bridges with brutal honesty. One guy responded by telling me what he really thought of me and my horseshit, and after a few weeks, we started becoming deep friends, because we stopped with the filters and the fear of criticizing behaviors that the other person was engaged in. Iron sharpens iron.

Let's differentiate between "legally married" and "married". One comes with legal ramifications, the other is about shaming/praising a couple into staying faithful. Divorce is pretty expensive, so why deal with the paperwork? Because saving a few hundred bucks per month on healthcare?

The problem I'm seeing with TRP is that it is only a man's response to a woman's strategy. There is no concern about how to educate women and betas and no concern about destroying decent people and relationships. I just found this sub and hope to see something more in line with the /r/nofap community, who seems to view women in a better light and is achieving RP-like results.

This is one of less than a dozen books I've reread a second time. Maybe it is a bit slow, but I needed the lesson beaten into my head, not every battle is worth dying for. It is ok to suffer a fool and even play along with peoples' stupid honor milking games if it helps you get ahead.

They should be judged by the same rules so that simple minds can't stumble over the argument. edit: The point is, we want to be red pill and feel justified, correct? We want those that would discredit our ideas to look foolish almost as fast as they speak up, correct? If we carefully choose and hold ideals and generally express reasonable sounding and justified positions, we can be irrefutable. When we talk about promiscuous woman in degrading terms, and promiscuous men in glorifying terms, we a…

If us men want a moral high ground over the feminist hypocrisy, then we should make the argument that we hold men and women to the same standards easy for anyone to understand. If however, just like the feminists, we have inconsistent rules between the genders, then we aren't helping make the case clear cut, that mainstream feminism is hypocritical.

Christ was very red pill, if one considers the Pharisee's entitlement mentality similar to any other kind of entitlement. Remember when he told the story in Nazareth about how there were many lepers in Elijah's day, but only one Syrian leper was healed? He had just earned brownie points and after telling the crowd that story, they tried to throw him off of a cliff. He never worried about what kind of trouble keeping his integrity would get him into. To me, the deepest message in TRP is about kee…

I doubt the value will be seriously diluted, even if this subreddit made the front page. People would just find what offended them and leave. As to the difference between this subreddit and /r/seduction, I see this as in the same vein as /r/nofap, it is about genuine self improvement and the biggest illuminating fact is that men can become more by focussing on self improvement in a ruthless "get busy living or get busy dying" fashion. Plenty of "competition" would prefer to die than face the tru…

As long as your getup and behavior don't appear fake and uptight, I'd say dress up. If you are wearing a tuxedo for coffee... make sure you can play the style well. Overdressing usually gets you the right kind of attention. Keep in mind that if she shows up in cutoffs and a tee, she's going to judge herself, which also isn't necessarily a bad thing.

I look like shit (31 and a healthy dose of acne and bones) and it doesn't seem to stop me from exerting a commanding presence wherever I end up at. Maybe I am romanticizing the 50s, where I imagine that there were more alphas in competition, but lately, I get the impression that anyone who actually is an alpha is a bit lonely in their adventures, and also enjoys spending time with equals. The same kinds of jocks that used to give me shit now buy me drinks and ask me to be their wingman. These ar…

A part time job is a great way to expand social skills because you automatically build rapport with coworkers by having to go through the same shit, your boss will largely appreciate that you are competent compared to the prankster smart alecks you'll be working with, and there is a constant flow of new people to have tiny interactions with. I am imagining something like working at a skating rink at the skate counter, Subway, or pizza delivery. Those jobs force you to interact with people and ha…

Family member began dating my friend's live in girlfriend behind his back. Told best friend, and was guilty by association. Then I had to deal with my ex-wife who was best friends with the girlfriend, the girlfriend, and family member harshly berating me about breaking the news for them. According to them, my only good option would have been to give them shit until they chose to come clean with him. I know how I would want to be treated, and I would like to imagine that when told, I would not sh…

I wouldn't say that looks matter, but I would say that style is pretty important, since woman either naturally or are programmed to guess at a man's nature from his style. I use bright clashing colors, frat shorts with a button up shirt and tie, and a wide variety of hats that can make me look like fidel castro or a comic con kid. I have a beard, but it looks like something I stole from a homeless dude, and acne everywhere the beard isn't. If being buff gives you confidence because you feel like…

One of the ten commandments I must obey is to honor my parents, but I agree with this post, you can still stand up for yourself and not keep taking shit. One time my brother and I were left somewhere on vacation because we refused to get in the car after being beaten, and a few hours later, the vehicle returned, we drove all the way home in silence, and never had to deal with that shit again. Years later, I've received sincere and tearful apologies for what had happened, and to me, honoring my p…

To me, watching people storm off in a huff is practically a sport at this point. However, a universal classification of all believers in a higher power as irrational is an absurd assertion. I question the taboo and offend believers and atheists alike. Sometimes I discover unusual conclusions that require me to adjust much more of my understanding and dig even deeper. Richard has devoted years trying to make serious contemplation of a sensible and rational religious worldview as taboo. It comes a…

I forced a couple's dinner and his female partner and I immediately noticed an odd vibe which caused the truth to come out quickly. That obviously caused the marriage to end, but at least I didn't have to deal with the suspicion. I knew nothing of alphaness, but I have always known that acting decisively and using the element of surprise can expose lies.

My grandpa just turned 84, and in the years since his wife died, he has had a new burst of youth come in. He won't ever talk ill of the past, but I can tell he is happier. He lives alone, and still hunts and fishes and with the help of a friend who is only in his 50s, keeps the yard up. None of us grandchildren liked our ever-miserable grandma.
