You think men only want sex huh???? This is honestly no different than the comment above just reversed with man bad woman good

Do they know if the man is happy or not? Why are they making assumptions about someone they don’t even know?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/26 03:30 AM

Not saying I entirely disagree, but someone being disabled and unable to get a job because of that isn't really the same thing as someone with poor social skills who cannot find a romantic partner.

It’s a crabs in a bucket mentality and they can’t stand seeing other people happy. Some examples I’ve seen is when a short guy gets married and finds a girl who loves him, some guys will say “she settled for him while being ran thru by chads”. No different is some femcels unfollowing their favorite women influencers after they post their husbands or boyfriends or after they make a post announcing their pregnancy cuz “having a boyfriend is embarrassing” now apparently. Truth is misery loves compa…

This is actually probably the only red pill take that I sort of agree with. I consider myself a pretty liberal guy but I've noticed that a lot of women like guys that "act and dress like an f boy" but aren't one.

I’m curious where in the sub have men said they specifically refuse to do housework? I hear this argument a lot but at least for men I know most have no problems doing chores around the house. I think men here on this sub don’t really understand what women specifically mean when they say stuff like unpaid or “emotional labor”

For women: What traits do you think men should look for in a woman beyond appearance? What behaviors are green flags? What patterns should be avoided? For women, at times, some of them need to be more realistic about their own preferences as it relates to their own traits. For example, a woman who is 4'11 has no business saying she only wants a man who's 6ft or taller. Or a woman who's somewhat overweight and out of shape, wanting a fit man who's also athletic. For men: What traits do you think …

Gonna be honest here, most ppl, men and women, are pretty normal. A lot of the loudest voices online, like incels, are hardly representative of men as a whole. Also, it's worth noting that ppl in general are having less sex these days. Idk if I speak for most guys, but rn I'm focused on other things in life. That doesn't mean I don't want love or sex, I just see that as a "cherry on top" type thing. A lot of men are going to channel their loneliness into video games, sports, etc, and only a frac…

This is actually a good explanation that I think more guys should try and follow. For example: work friends: co-workers, etc School friends: I doubt this needs any explanation Gym friends: Gym buddies or bros you work out with Childhood/close friends: Ppl you grew up with, or have gotten close to, either emotionally or ppl you can vent to. I could go on, but you build your own social networks based on your own interests and go from there. You may not be close to every single person, and that's o…

Plenty of women don't mind a homebody if they themselves are one. They don't want a guy who just sits at home all day and is unemployed with no goals.

I mean, thugs could have ambition if they wanna make it through the gang ranks or climb their way up as part of a drug cartel to become rich and become their own mafia boss!

having a job can mean a lot of things, but that doesn't mean that a girl won't date a guy who works at McDonald's or drives Uber. I have seen women date men like that but those men have long term goals in mind and won't drive uber or work at fast food forever. Those are just short term jobs until they save enough money to go to college, start their own business, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 12:36 AM

I think what they mean is that they want a man who has something going for them, like a job or career, or that they have actual goals in life. This doesn't necessarily mean they all want a rich guy, but they don't want a guy who just sits at home all day and does nothing. A lot of women are attracted to blue collar men, first responders, etc and those guys aren't necessarily rich, per se.

I think regardless of your social and SES, if you are a confident high earning man who’s well respected in his field then most of this red pill stuff is moot. True “high value men” (if that’s how they get described) don’t need online red pill bros telling them what to do cuz they already have the confidence and social skills to navigate most situations.

You actually make a good point. A good chunk of the traditionally Muslim ppl I know actually practice what they preach in that sense. They don't do premarital sex, birth control, etc, and they wear the hijab and don't do the LGBT stuff. The same can't really be said about American "Christians" today. Even the most hardcore evangelical Christians in America openly support a man who cheated on his wife with a pornstar and have been caught liking porn tweets (i.e. Ted Cruz). It's funny cuz these ar…

Hate is a pretty strong word but think about it this way: 1. You can’t always invite everybody to everything, there are ppl that are gonna be left out sometimes. 2. Unless it’s a big ass party, if I have a big friend group of 20+ ppl I can invite a bunch of ppl but if I’m doing something like going to a restaurant with friends I can only invite at most 5 ppl cuz you can’t bring everybody to a small table at a restaurant right? https://plausiblydeniable.com/five-geek-social-fallacies/ Reading thi…

“just find a woman who isn’t into short term mating,” they say. But they are riding on the statistics of another demographic. You def aren't wrong about this. There are plenty of women who are religious and date for marriage, but they aren't just going to date any man. Oftentimes, they'll date a man who shares their same religious beliefs, ex. Muslim.

Lemme chime in with my perspective as an autistic guy myself. A lot of the frustration for autistic guys may come off as "entitled," but it's more so it's a reaction to a lot of confusing social situations that are hard to navigate. A lot of Autistic guys know that they are not entitled to a romantic relationship, but they lack the self-awareness to understand why some of their traits may be off-putting. It's the lack of self-awareness that leads to frustration and anger, but it's not always abo…

I think it's the autism and the fact that many of them aren't self-aware about it. As an autistic guy myself, I was blessed to get a diagnosis in childhood, which gave me more time to work on social skills.

yeah that's pretty much it. A lot of these dudes who talk about "hypergamy" and 80/20 religiously have poor social skills, which is why they can't get laid or into relationships. This isn't to say that looks don't matter but most ppl don't have model-tier looks, and that goes for both men and women. Most ppl are mid af if you really think about it.

Lol, I do agree with your premise that the men who are terminally online and super into the manosphere subculture need to touch grass. That being said, the manosphere itself is most def not a monolith but is in fact, incredibly broad and encompasses everything from red pill, PUA, male self-improvement/dating coaches to MRAs and the Black Pill/"incel" subcultures. How are you gonna achieve having a higher birth rate?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/25 09:39 PM
1

The reason why "those cultures" outreproduce more is because of extremely traditional family expectations, and men and women are forced into getting married and having kids regardless of whether they actually want to or not. If you have a society where women and men have a choice in their marriage, the birth rate is obviously gonna go down cuz you can't force ppl to have kids.

I don't think being a "nice guy" is a problem if a dude is just genuinely a kind person. I also think men and women have different definitions of the term "nice guy". For women, I've seen them use the term "nice guy" to describe men who are only nice to women they wanna f*ck or are only being nice as a way to get into a girl's pants. For women, a "nice guy's" facade of kindness quickly fades away when he gets rejected and starts acting bitter/mean. For men, I've seen guys use the term "nice guy"…
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/25 06:09 PM

I've heard the new red pillers are just grifters and that the old red pill was actually more about self-improvement, confidence, etc.

Don’t most ppl regardless of gender want capitalism in their personal lives? Like you can’t force people to be together if they don’t want to, and you can’t force ppl to become friends if they have nothing in common and don’t vibe

Yeah that’s it for the most part. Self confidence and having high self esteem are arguably more important for relationships than anything else in the end
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/25 11:27 PM
1

To some degree yes but a lot of guys who get absorbed into red pill end up making it their whole worldview and they start to show resentment towards women which can spill out into the real world. IMO it’s the dose that makes the poison.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/25 11:25 PM

Tbh I think the idea of relationships in general are basically being de-romanticized for both men and women. It’s not necessarily that women suck or men aren’t mature but rather that more ppl are realizing the amount of work it takes to actually maintain a long term relationship and start a family and this goes for both men and women. Ppl in general are realizing that it’s better to be single and alone than be stuck in a relationship that doesn’t benefit either partner.

Yeah this is actually a big thing a lot of ppl don’t realize. One of my friends from my med school grew up as a 1st gen Indian American dude in rural Texas and was straight up the only person of color in his entire high school class. The only other Indian girl in his area was his cousin. Grew up having no prom date or first kiss or any quintessential “high school experience” but all that changed when he went to Dallas for college and hooked up with a bunch of girls in the first 3 months of start…

I would actually kinda disagree. Many of them are somewhat socially liberal but the economically conservative types. They like tax cuts and pro business policies but mostly don’t care for feminism or lgbt stuff, but they aren’t necessarily actively against it
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/25 07:54 PM

There's a difference between a "good man" vs a guy who is a "pushover". A lot of dudes think being "good" is synonymous with being a slave in this type of context, without realizing that it usually just means being caring and giving a shit about the other person. It is possible to do that and not be a pushover at the same time.

But I always get furious internally when people either enter medical school with kids or end up having kids during the medical school/residency process. I hate it with a passion. Ok this is legit the most retarded take I’ve seen. Most doctors who have kids have it after they complete residency. Even still, there are a couple moms in my class and they balance things just fine but they end up going into less demanding specialties (I.e peds, psych etc)

You're just bad at picking men.” “Maybe you're the problem.” “You’re a shitty person.” Gonna be honest here, if anyone (be it man or woman) is constantly complaining about the opposite gender, then it sounds like a them problem. I see where you are coming from, but you have to understand that a lot of North African/Middle Eastern women may be conservative Muslims who only want/or are allowed to date other Muslim men. Afaik, Muslim women aren't allowed to be with non-Muslim men, but it depends on the family. As for South Asian, I am a south asian guy, and most of the South asian women I know prefer to date within their culture. /r/PurplePillDebate14/07/25 07:59 PM

ye, this is the thing a lot of dudes here seem to be forgetting. If she's making you jump through hoops or expecting you to take her to a fancy restaurant for dinner for a first date while also expecting you to pay for her nails, hair, makeup, etc, then you are well within your rights as a man to not pursue her any further if that's not something you feel comfortable doing. I feel like some of the guys here have low self-esteem and think that this is the only way they can get women to like them,…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/25 07:58 PM

Gonna be 100% honest here, I feel like this is pretty much a "mindset" issue and not a skill issue. You seem to view dating as a video game or a math equation where you have to make all these calculated decisions in order to get a girl to "like you". Real life dating and relationships are never going to be like that. It's not as simple as flowers+dinner= gf. Also, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that you seem to go into the date hoping that she "likes" you instead of trying to build a connect…

Nobody's shaming men for simply wanting sex. It's the entitlement and the ability to not handle rejection well that people clown on. "Be honest about enjoying casual sex with hot men and not wanting to touch average men," you mean, be honest about not wanting to date men they aren't attracted to? Cuz they pretty much are honest about that.

I will say that it probably was easier for me to be secure about my lack of experience, cuz I was raised in a somewhat conservative Indian culture where dating wasn't really prioritized. In college, I had a lot of Indian friends who also didn't have much dating experience so being a virgin in your early 20s was sort of considered "normal".
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/25 12:45 AM
2

In the grand scheme of things, not really. It's normal to want sex and intimacy, but to make your entire identity revolve around not getting sex and intimacy is pitiful. Ppl are so much more than that, and you also have your own goals and aspirations that you are working towards, so don't let that part get you down.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/25 08:08 PM

I get what that feels like but once you actually do it, you realize it's not this magical experience that society and porn make it out to be.

The two ages have completely different levels of maturity and life experiences. Do you really think it's going to be a healthy relationship if they're life experiences are vastly different? Also not to mention the obvious power dynamic.

The problem is that dude is twice that girl's age, and is old enough to be her dad.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/25 01:50 AM

yeah nothing wrong with wanting a younger woman, but it does become creepy if there is a large age gap. Like if a 40 year old guy wants a woman who is in her mid/late 20s early 30s that's fine and understandable (esp if he wants to start a family) but it becomes weird when he wants a girl who's 18.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/25 01:47 AM

I’m in grad school now and I still know a decent amount of ppl who are in their mid 20s and still virgins but they’re more so for religious reasons
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/25 11:09 PM

I guess it depends on your background but in my friend circle at least in college most of us didn’t really start dating until we started college. Being a virgin at that age 20s wasn’t considered a big deal

The way OP words it makes it seem like he thinks all women are the same. Not saying that there aren't women who act like that, there are, but a chunk of women being shitty like this isn't an indictment of all women lol. Think of it this way: If woman 1 says: Just be confident, she means the dude should be secure in himself and not take it personally if she rejects him. now if woman 2 says; "ew, I can't believe that dude had a chance with me" and posts it on her story or something, then we can al…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/25 10:08 PM

Gonna be 100% honest here, literally no one cares. And this is coming from a guy who didn't have his first gf or lose his v card until his mid 20s (22-23 ish). I'm not gonna sugarcoat it and act like being autistic is easy, but at the end of the day, if you are insecure about your lack of experience, either own up to it or lie about it. It's not that deep. lol did they end up dating? I think autistic guys and girls miss each others signals and struggle with showing romantic interest which is why we end up dating NTs

lol if I said you looked like lizzo would you take that as a compliment considering lizzo is “beautiful” in your eyes?

I could say the same thing about women who “look like the female version of Watto” but want a Han Solo. The point is there are delusional mofos in all genders but somehow women get all defensive when called out on it.

Nice. I’d consider myself more high functioning and I was friends with a couple autistic girls but tbh I just didn’t really find them attractive, physically or personality wise.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/24 02:17 AM

lol why is that? As an autistic guy myself most of the girls I’ve dated have been NTs too. A couple of them had ADHD but that’s about it.

That’s actually interesting in a way. Do autistic women date autistic guys? Have you seen that happening before?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/24 11:15 PM

Being kind is the bare minimum. You shouldn’t be nice just for the sole purpose of getting laid.

lol the nice guys aren’t actually as nice as they think they are.

Maybe the girls he’s getting with are also ugly af?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/24 02:45 AM

Yeah. If a girl can say she doesn’t want a short guy, a guy can say he doesn’t want a fat girl

So in order for men to be promiscuous doesn’t that require women to also be promiscuous?

The podcast is for entertainment purposes only you can’t convince me otherwise

It’s just dumb cuz they complain about women being “cheaters” and having high body counts, yet these same red pill guys are the ones banging multiple chicks. For men to be promiscuous, there also needs to be promiscuous women willing to have sex with them. Red pill guys can’t complain about hookup culture if they’re the ones actively participating in it

I guess my perspective might be a little different as a south Asian guy, but besides Doctor, SWE is another one of those stereotypical professions that were “pushed” into. There are plenty of SA SWEs that fit the stereotype of shy, socially awkward but there are a good amount of South Asian guys in tech that have a good salary and are physically fit, confident, and have great people skills. I know these guys get swoon over by south Asian girls, especially those in medicine and that seems to be t…

Also a lot of us are drained because of the burdens that admin puts on us and the fact that medicine can be stressful because of the heavy workload. It has nothing To do with women lol

Isn’t healthcare decided In part by insurance companies whose CEOs are mostly male? I don’t think it’s fair to blame female doctors for #1, considering a lot of clinician burnout is due to unnecessary stuff from management and insurance companies

Yeah no point in applying for residency cuz you’re gonna treat patients which requires empathy and that makes you a beta male /s.

Yeah medicine is difficult but if you’re going into it thinking you’ll get hella bitches you’re dead wrong. I’m saying this as a second year med student. No woman actually gets her panties wet at your white coat pic just cuz ur going to be a doc…

Tbh it’s nothing wrong with wanting to have a partner that doesn’t dress provocatively but as a man you should be going for a girl that doesn’t do all that already (yes they do actually exist) instead of trying to forcefully change a girl that does (goes clubbing and wears revealing clothes).

It’s usually the opposite, except it’s western guys who try to find a non western women which is why passport bros are a thing

Jordan Peterson actually gives some decent solid advice. You do realize that you can see the merits in people while disagreeing on some things right? Also why are you censoring the letters in his name?

Again you do you but more often times than not, many women’s actions haven’t met up with their words. Of course every individual has different preferences but I know far too many men that have blindly listened to 100% of what a woman says and they end up falling flat.

There is some truth to this but from my own experience plenty of guys that subscribe to these red pill talking points have no problems getting matches on dating apps and going on dates and smashing. Many of the girls they get with are def very attractive. However what they don’t show you is that many of these women that they end up attracting are very shallow and downright bitchy, not the kind you’d want for an actual relationship. The red pill is great if you’re just trying to hook up but not g…

I agree with some of what your post is saying but the whole “dad bod” thing is cope. If given the option I’m willing to bet that the vast majority of women arguably find a muscular guy more attractive than a “dad bod”.

obviously women should be confident too, but in a society where you as a man are expected to make the first move, learning confidence and game can go a long way.

The whole “escaping the matrix” stuff is dumb tho. The only sort of universal truth is that as a man at least, you should be somewhat masculine and confident in yourself, but don’t overdo it

I do think there is some truth to this, as your value as a man is determined by a combination of looks+ status and somewhat same for women too. There is some degree of superficiality but most people would want a partner that has something going on for them

I agree with this. This doesn’t mean you should treat women badly but don’t make her your main focus in life at the same time.
