This is correct. This was how my lawyer set it up in order to let her find a job and help but there is nothing saying I can't have the state enforce it. It is written in to the custody agreement that I can. I guess I know the answer I'm looking for already but in a way I feel sorry for her. Stupid, I know.

In the custody agreement it is states that she will provide support and we will split all extra cost 50/50. For things like school fees, sports, activities, that kind of stuff we split the cost equally. My lawyer got her to sign an agreement that basically waived her right to persue spousal support. I understand and I agree with you. Its about the kids first and that is why I am doing my best to take care of them and be a good father. I have kept our drama seperate from the kids as much as possible. They are really good kids and I love them. My issue is that I have tried to work with my ex and gave her 2 years to help me with supporting our children. I know I can make more money then her and I was trying to be fair and give her a chance but it seems I am just being taken advantage of just b…

I guess I hadn't really thought of it like that. It really is my children who suffer. I do my best to make ends meet. I really had hoped she could see it from my point of view and she would want to help. But it seems like if I don't ask she don't care. And when I do ask it's the same as always. Say's she'll try and I never hear about it again. I know if it was the other way around she would have the state so far up my ass and I'd be living in a box and paying all her bills. It's just a messed up…
