I'm not sure you're right about that to be honest. If it comes to movement and looks I think we might just get there in 20-30 years or so. As far as human level AI goes I think you are right. But I guess that that level of AI is exactly what the people who want sexbots don't want ;)

I agree, it used to be evolutionarily advantageous to select for social dominance etc because these males would get more resources. And shit testing helped to select for these characteristics. Nowadays that's still relevant but much less so than in the past and thus it would be better if women would shit-test less or not at all. Hey man, I study mechanical engineering myself and in our university, we do do a lot of practical stuff still. We have a workshop where throughout the curriculum you have to build increasingly complex projects. Starting with a simple cart up to a robot that can walk a certain distance tap a beer and walk back without spilling any for example. So all is not lost luckily. I live in Europe though so things may be different here....

Eh, weird 4th option to consider... I have no experience in this because when I suggested it to my previous LTR girlfriend the answer was a clear and resounding no haha But she might be into threesomes, I found that a lot more girls would consider them than I previously thought. Of course, you are right in a literal sense. But the point is how you think right. So even though sometimes circumstances are overwhelming if you give yourself circumstances as an "out" that takes away some of you agency. So the trick is to take full responsibility whilst not beating yourself up over things... It's really hard and I can't say that I've figured it out yet. But since adopting this attitude my ability to do what I really want to do has improved massively.

Shit happens, have more luck do better next time man.
