I might get downvoted for suggesting this, but if you're really as shapely and trim everywhere else as you suggest, and your stomach is just bizarrely resistant to exercise and diet, you sound like an ideal candidate for liposculpture. The technology has come a long way and the downtime is minimal. Might be worth a look -- a lot of doctors do consults for free.

I dated a guy who'd slept with a much older, relatively unattractive woman in his recent sexual history. He wasn't cheating, as he'd been single at the time, but it still gave me pause and a bit of confusion. He said she was nonjudgmental and "fun." Down for whatever, I guess. Maybe your guy needed an ego boost and she was giving it to him.

Not sure what you've read, as it's widely used in low concentrations in the US and associated with low risk, especially compared to acne treatments (accutane) that are actually quite controversial. Sorry you had a bad experience, but unbearable pain with tretinoin isn't exactly normal and doesn't make it "dangerous."

Tretinoin is one of the most studied, peer-reviewed and widely prescribed skin treatments. It treats aging skin, acne, rosacea and melasma with few and ultimately minor side effects.

If its within your means, save yourself enormous frustration and see a dermatologist. For years, I told myself that my skin "wasn't bad enough" to warrant a doctor's visit. I had some premature wrinkling around my eyes, large pores and persistent blackheads, but nothing crazy, right? Well, 6 months ago I decided to take the plunge. The prescription face wash and tretinoin that I was prescribed have done a million times more for my skin than fancy jade rollers, snake oil essences or expensive cre…

It's disturbing to me that you're insisting your happiness, and asking about how you can project your "happiness," but you take care to list out all the unhappy aspects of your life, nonetheless. And some of them seem very unhappy; so sorry about your mother. Do you think your outward appearance would improve if you dealt with the sadness currently in your life?

I don't think this is necessarily true, but I'm in an age gap relationship and probably not super well-adjusted, honestly. My abusive parents had a terrible relationship with a 13-year gap, and sometimes I wonder if this is my way of "returning to the scene of the crime," ie my trauma.

Yikes, that's pretty horrible. My grandfather threw a pitcher of iced tea in my mother's (she was 6) lap for a similar reason. I don't know, man. There's being overly permissive of picky eating, and then there's just be abusive.

In my experience, women are described by men as "cool," when traditional adjectives like "feminine," "sweet," and "domestic" don't really apply. Guys might still think those women are hot, though, and want to rationalize their attraction with some kind of personality virtue. So, they're "cool."

I don't know, sometimes I feel this sub is a little too forgiving of men. For example, we might advise you against cancelling on your man, and therefore not fulfilling his needs, to do your own thing. You only see each other a few days out of the week, after all. Well, this relationship is supposed to provide for you, too. If he can't put aside gaming a few times per week to give you a little bit of emotional attention, I think that's a bad sign for an LTR.

I just want to comment and advise that whatever you do, don't withdraw this way. He's way less likely to think, "gee, I sure took her for granted. I'd better step up my game so that she's inspired to start doing XYZ again" as opposed to "wtf are you doing all day? I feed you and drive you around just so you can lay here and be a parasite?" It's always possible to find a resolution after an argument, but realize that this method is instigating an argument in the first place.

First of all, it's super nice that your boyfriend regularly provides food and transportation for you. That's pretty sweet. If you won't be content until you start getting the little things you've mentioned, you might try telling him how loved the food and transport he offers makes you feel. This may inspire him to make similar gestures more often. There's no "perfect" guy. By chasing the notion that you might be able to get a tiiiiiny, negligible percentage closer to "perfect," you'll waste your youth and probably end up having to settle for someone of lesser value. If you find someone that treats you well, and checks most of your important boxes, then keep him and consider yourself lucky.

This is really a question for r/sex, or better yet, an accredited medical advice website/physician/trusted adult. A super quick web search will tell you that some bleeding after losing your virginity is normal, and usually a result of breaking the hymen.

Sleeping around is considered inappropriate behavior here, and sex is ideally saved for men who are genuine marriage/ LTR candidates. So, yeah, ideally a RPW would be in fewer than 5 failed relationships, where she offered sex and did not ultimately get commitment in return, before settling down.

Sorry, I....Just don't think so. The color correction, multi-camera filmography, set composition, and even costuming in some of the videos is just so meticulous and costly. If that isn't blatant enough, Li supposedly makes silk on her "grandmother's" homestead, and yet all the river water is sparkling clean. Silk production uses harsh chemicals and virtually destroys surrounding groundwater and river supply. It definitely isn't a cute or quaint process. The picturesque homestead also boasts beau…

Most rural Chinese adults have hardly any teeth. They struggle to survive and have little control over their existence. It's also worth noting that, for someone who allegedly does a considerable amount of work outside, Li's complexion is fairer than the majority of the population around her. This is beautiful cinematography, but it's highly likely that Li Ziqi is the brainchild of the Chinese government, which makes me wonder about the moral nature of these videos.

That's why I think it's a little ridiculous to have a "self care" thread here. The western woman is already, by most accounts, incredibly self-indulgent; few of us need to learn how to focus on ourselves, while many of us profoundly struggle to care for men.

There is no "toning," there is only adding muscle. "Toning" is a marketing tactic invented to push certain workout regimes at women who are convinced they need to be concerned about becoming "bulky." Due to your female hormones, you'd need to try REALLY hard to look bulky as a result of muscle growth (steroids, extreme lifting regimes). Keep your body fat percentage low and work building muscle. You'll get the "toned" aesthetic you're after, because that's just what women look like when they're …

Nobody will ever be the kind of woman that no man would ever dream of cheating on. That's not realistic. Some people cheat as a result of their own, deeply damaged characters, which may have nothing to do with their partner. We all need to aim to satisfy our man's needs, and to become the very best version of ourselves, but you can't live your life trying to be immune to the failures of others. Shit happens, and it isn't always your fault.

"Too young" for a meaningful relationship? That seems like a bizarre thing to say on the RPW. Gen Z's were born as late as 1995, and the mantra here includes finding a relationship while you still have a high SMV, which correlates heavily with youth.

I mean, not really? Most feminine women are attracted to masculine men, because that makes evolutionary sense. Now, I think there's a lot of flavors of "masculine men." For example, there's nothing besides trends that indicate a man shouldn't have the long hair you like or dress in an alternative fashion; a man with alpha traits is usually confident enough to represent himself however he chooses, trends be damned. But if you're suggesting that you prefer men who emulate women, then that would be…

The problem this logic is that good health and fertility are natural, and health and fertility are often perceived as beautiful by the opposite sex. Now, perfect health may not come "naturally" to everyone, which is why we wear makeup, style our hair and workout.
/r/RedPillWomen10/09/19 08:31 PM
21

You can probably wear makeup on both your eyes and lips (most glamorized celebrities do on the red carpet) so long as you keep one of them neutral. For example, pair smoky eyes with nude lipstick. It looks polished, plus if your lips are naturally very red like mine, it'll look much more harmonious.

I think a lot of what we perceive as "feminine" are actually contrived notions imposed by cultural norms. For example, female body hair. Western culture alone has been subject to numerous trends (natural, trimming, Brazilian waxes, shaving) suggesting that a woman's body hair should look a certain way or, more recently, be nonexistent. None of these trends are inherently feminine, though as none of them suggest fertility. They simply subscribe to an arbitrary preference. If anything, body hair s…

Unfortunately, menstruation often upsets the natural pH of the vagina. If you're itchy, you probably have an overgrowth of candida yeast that has resulted in this pH change. If the itch persists for several days into your cycle (when you should have adjusted, naturally) see your gynecologist about treating a yeast infection.

Woah woah, 100 squats per day??? I know this is a little beside the point, but seriously consider checking out r/fitness, or just doing a little bit of research on muscle building in general. If you want a muscle to get bigger, you generally keep the reps low ( like 3 sets of 12) and increase weight.

No. Men are attracted to beautiful women; your hair color doesn't make you inherently attractive. Rather, choose your hair color based on your eyes and the color of your skin. As a very fair woman with blue eyes, I feel that blonde hair would wash me out and make me a look a little too "girl next door" ish for my taste.

I'd like to second the notion that sex with a new partner is often something you need to work at, and spend a little bit of time working out. We hear all kinds of stories, from other women and the media about how sex with the "right" man is supposed to be all fireworks, but the truth is, achieving great orgasms can be a little tricky at first and that is completely okay. Nothing is broken. The main thing is that both of you want to make each other happy, because if you're willing, you'll find th…

If athlesiure is an excuse to be lazy, don't do it a lot. One of the virtues of RPW is having a kept appearance. If you often workout, that's another thing. Apart from that, you may consider how much you wear that style depending on whether your prospective SO likes it.

Certainly substance abuse could be one reason to leave. Addiction destroys lives and is hard to beat. Another might be infidelity, or serial infidelity, assuming extramarital sex is outside the mutual agreement of your relationship. You might chalk that up to general untrustworthiness and disregard of your feelings.

That's why you find reciprocating intimately to be difficult; because deep down where you live, you know he is not to be trusted with your vulnerability. I am conventionally attractive and in the first years of my twenties. While beauty may have helped me attract the attention of an alpha boyfriend, it did not create trust, respect or love in our relationship; that had to be earned by character. I can also tell you that said alpha boyfriend would have absolutely no trouble attracting another woman as pretty as I am (he's a handsome guy with resources, after all) and I have quickly found that I urgently need to provide additional value to his life…

Beauty is closely linked to health; markers of health and fertility signal feminine beauty. Are your teeth straight and clean looking? Do you have shiny, kept hair? Are your nails clean and kept? How about your skin- is it soft and clear? You'll come a long way if you tackle these bases.

I....actually don't know that being a virgin when you get married is ideal for everyone, or even most people. A low n count? Sure. Virginity equals inexperience, though and let me tell you, hypergamy is a lot harder to douse when you're left to wonder what a man other than your husband might be like in bed. It helps to have the self-awareness that comes with a little bit of sexual exploration when you settle into a long term relationship. Again, I am not advocating for female promiscuity, but do…

Right. Very few women just want "sex and kids." I mean, those are conflicting interests in and of themselves. A person who only wants casual sex generally does not favor a family atmosphere. Boyyyyy you gotta see some of those amazing nose jobs, often those that are correcting a breathing issue as well as a cosmetic complaint. When they’re done well, they look exceptionally natural and can positively change the way a person feels about their whole face. I'm sure we can all agree that Melanie is a better role model, and I've probably done a shoddy job of communicating my point. Physical attractiveness, though? Surely it plays a part, but if you're standing there looking like a sour biotch, your perfect hourglass figure and fresh blowout might not be worth as much. I'm standing by the notion that there's more to being attractive than the way you look.

Perhaps men can cheat with no emotional connection, but my man can’t cheat without risking my emotional pain. Complete sexual availability, maintaining looks and fitness and keeping his house together are some of the things I’m offering in return for commitment. Do yourself a favor and stop comparing yourself to women who are praised solely for their looks and exaggerated sexuality, as these attributes will not secure a high SMV man. But is a cheater and a liar really worthy of a second chance, assuming he’s been cheating and lying to a quality woman? Don’t those negative attributes diminish what he is able to give her and the relationship (emotional comfort and stability, commitment)? On the subject of “cop outs,” I’ve always felt that asserting one’s physical beauty based on the notion that “people” tell you that you should model is a similar sidestep of reality. People tell me I should model all the time, too, but as someone who has some experience in show business I know that there’s a lot more to modeling, physically, besides being conventionally attractive. Height, for example. Now that that’s over with, your experience doesn’t negate the norm for a tremendous many women…

I'm a rather young member of the RPW, but I have this instinctual feeling, which has grown stronger since my readership here, that you shouldn't put "passion" on too high of a pedestal. It isn't a sacred cow, or what have you, and although it's fun, I'm told it ebbs and flows if it lasts at. I could be going out on a limb here, but my gut tells me to let that go, and prioritize loving a man for his virtuous qualities rather than just (or even mostly) hot, steamy sexiness , and learning to be a g…

I admit to being largely unqualified to answer this question (unmarried woman), but my knee-jerk reaction is that you shouldn't initiate when he's telling you it isn't a good idea. He might feel that sex will cloud his judgement, in the middle of a potentially life-changing decision. Also, do you think you'll feel like he took advantage of your vulnerability, if he continues to sleep with you now and later decides he wants to separate? Best wishes xx

Right. I feel like the overwhelming 3rd wave feminism, that's been born and bred in CA, would be the most difficult to deal with, though.

I get the sneaking suspicion that the OP is Muslimah, which would explain the forbiddance of anal sex. To my knowledge, Islam also disallows "threesomes," but is a little more liberal when it comes to husbands having other partners/wives, leaving it up to the discretion of those involved. Threesomes and polygamy obviously aren't the same thing, but they both have sleeping with others outside a two-person marriage in common. There was some grammatically quirky phrasing in this post; I think maybe…

I shave my legs and underarms and sometimes bikini area, but actual arm hair??? I would understand, I guess, if the hair was REALLY dark and thick, but otherwise it doesn’t seem necessary and should just be up to your personal preference. Ask yourself, is there anything innately un-feminine or gross about hair? I don’t think so. As long as you’re doing whatever you need to keep clean and polished, I’d say you’re doing fine.

Of course there is wisdom in not rushing ahead of your youth, or escalating through your life phases prematurely, but the RPW also associates youth (as it pertains to women at or above the age of consent) with high sexual market value. It's a bit confusing and perhaps misleading. Has the RPW more or less agreed on the prime marrying age for women?

I think the real problem here is that you're a 15-year-old girl who is "hateful" about something (childbearing and childrearing) that isn't even your business at the moment, as a young teen. Don't be negative, and don't be stressful. So you don't want kids right now? Thank goodness. If you aren't part of a culture that demands young girls to marry and reproduce, then have fun developing your hobbies and healthy habits-- it sounds like you're already doing that, which is great. You might change…

YOU ARE NOT HER MOTHER. This was cathartic. Addiction weaves such a tangled web; the high anxiety that I experienced as a small child continues to touch my behavior in certain situations, as a woman. There are parts of my psyche that demand to "return to the scene of the crime/trauma," so to speak, in an effort to produce a different outcome than the one I had. It's painful and, of course, pretty irrational. My boyfriend is a man of few words, but it is reassuring to find his key statements ("…

I guess my imagination runs kind of rampant. If she slipped in the shower, for example, and hurt herself then there would virtually be no adult to help her off the floor. More likely, she'd lock herself out of the house or otherwise do something silly and "13" of her. This is a situation where my anxiety does a lot of my talking. I spent a good deal of my early childhood fending for myself with an incapacitated mother, and weathering all the bumped heads, stove-burned fingers, and other househol…

I appreciate this. Your point was essentially the same as my boyfriend's, but it's been helpful for me to hear it from a neutral, outside party where feelings aren't influencing the issue. Also, to answer your question, I'm in my early 20s.

That's very intuitive and helpful. I'm a fairly young woman (20), and honestly my "gut" hasn't really been tested in terms of men, which is why I'm grateful to be able to reach out to you all. Omg yes, it did. My guy has had a history filled with beautiful women, but what bothered me most was his more recent fling (before me, of course) with a mid forties woman who I considered to be very overweight and unattractive. The beautiful women didn't bother me-- I feel like I'm a beautiful woman. The fact that he was willing to have sex with a low SMV woman, though made me feel like my looks were devalued. When I was feeling really paranoid, I would reason that my competition for his commitm…

Are there successful 30-year-old men, though, in any kind of abundance? I know of a fair amount of 30-something men who are still living with their parents with unstable jobs, and it seems like the majority of them are apartment dwellers with too much debt for their annual salaries. I guess a 40-year-old man would have less energy than a guy in his 30s (unless he was fit and healthy, but that's probably as unlikely as a 30-year-old who's got enough money to comfortable raise a couple of kids), b…

He wants to get married, so I do think he's serious. The problem is that he's both serious and perhaps sincerely bad at communicating and filtering. I'm not sure how we can continue if this is true, and I'm as fragile as I am. I'm hoping that if I get control of my end, we'll be alright.

These are very helpful sentiments and experiences, and thank you for sharing them. I've always been an "old soul," so to speak and we had a really strong first year. Its completely possible, even likely that the problems we're having now are rooted in my immaturity (I'm a very mature early-twenties person, but probably not a super mature thirty something) that was initially less impactful. I wonder frequently if we really are in too different of life stages for this to work, which is always a pr…

I'm a student and since my boyfriend and I live apart, we can't practically be together all the time. To cut down on the stress of his busy everyday, I make meals for him and store them in his freezer so he can enjoy home cooking easily even when I'm not there.

Thanks for mentioning this. According to this calculator, my BMI is a mere 21% but a bioelectric analyzer measures my body fat percentage to be around 25%. I'm a small person, but a lot of me is fat relative to my muscle content. Just another reason to focus on overall health rather than strictly the scale.

I just wanted to jump in here, because this kind of makeup is an active thought in my brain at the moment. I've found that a light sweep of blush can be a very pretty addition (women tend to flush a bit when they're ovulating! Haha, definitely a fertility signal.) to makeup routines, as well as highlighting with a non glittery product. The highlighter will make your skin look like its glowy and healthy.

Okay, so I've taken to French braiding my hair on lazy days in lieu of ponytails. They're super easy once you get the hang of it (seriously, all I did was watch a Youtube video and practice for like 15 min), but the result is very pretty. I get comments from other women about how diligent I must be to "intricately" braid my hair all the time, but really it takes less than a minute. A sleek bun, like this one and this one, is really great for "second day" hair. They key is creating a neat part …

Well, you're still together which seems like, at face value, a pretty steadfast statement that you do love each other despite what you did. Moreover, he is evidently willing to see your relationship through, so saying "I love you" out loud shouldn't come as a shock to either of you. I would say that you should do all you can to show him that you love him, without being smothering. Stfu when the situation calls for it, but verbalizing your love for him seems like it could be a legitimate piece of…

I don't think its healthy for anyone's desire to maintain themselves physically to come from fear, in large part or exclusively. Women should keep up with their looks out of respect for their husbands and the relationship they share; the "he"ll leave you if you're not a hottie!" culture is a piece of wisdom, but blared through a megaphone of distrust and suspicion. Edit: Clarification

Because I don't have an objective assessment of your situation and I'm only hearing your side of the story, its difficult to say whether your boyfriend is being unreasonable. A lot of the time, people become insecure about issues in their personal life because they sense a genuine insufficiency, or a flaw of their own creation, or some problem that they're perpetuating and they go and seek validation from others by submitting partial truths. Now, is it possible that you really don't put that muc…

OP, it seems like there's a fair amount of disagreement over the logistics of what happened between you and your husband in the early stages of your romantic relationship. Honestly, do you think he's wrong in his rebuttals? Or do you think the truth is somewhere in between what both of you have said?
