I have my foreskin and have no problem at all with cleaning. A risk that may come with the "hygiene" argument is that it may lure circumcised guys into a false sense of security and think they don't need to wash at all (and an unwashed penis is going to smell and be unhealthy whether it has a foreskin or not). Same with the STD argument, circumcised guys may think they don't need to wear a condom because they are circumcised putting them and others at even greater risk of STDs.
