On average, it takes women 8 years to get diagnosed with endo, 12 in the States while the symptoms are severe and persistent. But, quoting this study, the true victims have been forgotten: The absence of professional or wider societal recognition of the impact on male partners, and a lack of support available to men, results in male partners having a marginalized status in endometriosis care. source

I would start looking for openings elsewhere. Do your job, but don't hesitate to apply to anything related to your position with a better package (salary etc). There's *no* way he has been a little angel baby for 20+ years and big mean lady came and made him sad 😢. They just haven't bothered to deal with him and they're not about to start now.

So he is 20ish now. Then he'll be the middle aged guy harassing students in parks. And then he'll just start buying sex. Do random men that approach women on streets are ever sane?

Sorry, ignore it, someone linked some sources lower. For anyone else looking: https://www.usnews.com/education/best-colleges/articles/2018-11-02/how-gender-influences-college-admissions https://expertadmissions.com/many-colleges-reject-women-at-higher-rates-than-for-men/

Ooof, brought up some horrible memories. The guy had lent me his old phone, hadn't reset it, so there were old text messages left on it. Found out he buys prostitutes. Now I understand there were 999 burgundy flags before that happened, but at the time it blew my mind. He was tall, physically attractive, successful man - I though only people who have no chance with women need prostitutes. But that's far from the truth. People who want to feel power over the woman need the sex workers. Knowing th…

If you have access to the profile pictures, you could do a reverse image search with https://tineye.com/ and google image search (it has search by image option). Try both, they tend to have different outcomes. Scrotes tend to have one good photo from 7 years ago that they reuse everywhere, so it's worth the hassle. If he's a working musician and had pro photos from gigs, those photos are taken/posted on bar websites, could backtrack from that. + oh, also, LinkedIn shows who has viewed your pro…

If this is real, he lied to her that he won't ask for child support and that he will cover pregnancy+aftercare expenses, no way she would have agreed otherwise. But since it wasn't on paper, he is making her pay child support, that's the only way this makes any sense.

I looked at her profile and it was very sad. It's like she's self harming through sexual degradation. I'm afraid getting others to call her out is part of the self harming process. There is really nothing we can do to help her.

It's somehow worse. Her whole profile is full of photos and videos being sexually degenerated. I hope she finds a way out.

Zooey Deschanel is somewhat typecasted into manic pixie dream girl type due to "500 days of summer" where a dude projects all his wants onto her character because she likes the Smiths and then he won't fuck off.

There was a time they would watch this yt channel where someone reposted women athletes footage with sexual intentions, then they further sexualised them on the podcast. Around that time women started to come out explaining how the soundboard guy makes them feel uncomfortable and Ethan essentially responded with "I didn't read any of your posts and you are wrong ". They have done great stuff, but yeah, def not a model husband.

I'm pretty sure soliciting personal info is against the subs rules - it's easy to get that from a personal site. Moreover, this might be some creep looking to warn that guy. Honestly can't think of a reason for a normal person to need the link - do not share anything with them.

Where I'm from, if you just look at couples on the street, the women are always way more fit, put together, healthy. Most women look way better than their boyfriends, some are pretty much the same but never have I ever seen a guy looking better than the girl - except on tv, 90 day fiancé.

I had some bad things happen when I was a kid and I vividly remember thinking "if I play along and don't show I'm hurt then I wasn't getting hurt and nothing happened". Unfortunately, I did keep the same logic for a long time, not only enabling more abuse but also walking around thinking I've never been abused, that I was cool with everything that had happened so nothing happened. I really hope that that commenter is not in the same boat, that's she's just a lucky lady. But unfortunately that ne…

This reminds me of the youtuber who peed in his basement, on a livestream, not as a joke. He somehow had lvl 100 incel vibes while being married. I don't remember his name, but h3h3 did a podcast on him. Unfortunately, the pee was the least offensive thing they uncovered.

But in the end you will have no ducks and that is not cute past your twenties. Meanwhile the rest will have their ducks and their dream girl, or at least the ducks.

OLD is good for training establishing your boundaries, I've found. Yes, for the goal of meeting someone it is still 10/10 lose, but you get to see examples of LVM with education, careers, looks and/or other initially desirable traits and train your eye to see past those. Then again, it might not be safe to be on OLD before you have your eye trained...

You probably blocked them for a good reason, better keep them blocked then. Sounds like you know what kind of relationship you want and they aren't it. Some people just aren't ready. So don't waste your time, treat yourself nicer and keep an eye out for someone new.

I really love makeup, fashion and staying fit, but I honestly don't know how much of it is me being me and how much it's ingrained compliance and the positive reaffirmations. I don't think I'll ever stop adorning myself, but do you maybe have suggestions for understanding this topic further?

Psychiatric medication dosage is reviewed and adjusted over time based on reaction. General records do not contain information that would tell the "correct" dosage. He at best could have said that the dosage is unusually high from what he knows and suggest a second review from a different psychiatrist. Moreover, because a drastic dosage change needs to be supervised.

He probably figured out he needs to reel in and tie down the next girl fast or they escape. I had a similar ex, who also got married later on - but I found out about his shenanigans only now from this random girl unrelated to the situation. Anyhow, so, turns out he finds a new girlfriend, marries her right away and she gets pregnant. Before the newborn has spoken first words they are already going through divorce. Unfortunately, that is not the worst part. The reason this random girl talking to …

I see you're saying he's too smart to cross the line, but a smart person wouldn't be pulling this shit at work in the first place. I suggest you start recording conversations with him - if nothing happens, fine, delete the recording. If it gets worse/keeps happening - you have proof. I did this in my case, but really just took the first chance to get away from that job. But the bonus of the conversation being recorded is that it gives you confidence. You're just thinking to yourself - oh, yes, p…

I'd say not worth it - the clips they post on youtube is all the content minus the filler. But there's always some episodes in full length floating on youtube if you want to just see it for yourself.

Because "I would never date an 18 year old but you're an exception" works on an 18 year old. Plus, they can pick and choose the victim out of the dozen teens available to them at the school, watch for the kid who is least likely to tell to friends/family, because they don't talk to others on breaks etc., pick the one with least experience.

Here's a friendly reminder to get tested - if you were in a long term, committed relationship, you probably had a lot of semi-protected/unprotected intercourse. And you were with someone who shows inability to plan long term, eg, more likely to engage in unprotected intercourse with random people. Also, don't just get tested for the major diseases, there's plenty of bacterial stds that can show seemingly unrelated signs, but can be devastating if not treated for years.

If your looks are fine and conversation skills are fine, there might be one silly issue - whether you actually get flirty, like with teasing etc., could be that it's just that neither of your steer that way so you never get on that path.

Emphasis on 'maybe'. Maybe it happened, maybe you did lie to your friend, maybe everyone did believe you when you straighten things out, maybe none of this happened. This seems to be the right place to vent, but then again, how can anyone distinguish between the upvote leeches and the genuine stories. We wouldn't take rape claim posts at face value, why would we take this.
