Good for you for shooting your shot. But remember, even if you don’t work together directly, you presumably work at the same place. Right now, that trumps everything else. Make sure you still do good work, and be friendly at work.

Talk to her like nothing happened... because nothing did happen. Be nice to her at work, and don’t bring it up. If she offers again, say sure. If you’re in the car for a few, chat, start making out. If you invite her in and she resists, kiss her on the forehead, say, “well I wouldn’t want to pressure you into anything you don’t want to do. See your tomorrow.” Get out, and don’t look back. Edit: oh mobile. Leaving my spelling mistakes because they’re a reminder I need to proofread.

I appreciate you engaging with my answer. To be transparent, my relationship with my family and home life did not have the same turmoil that yours did. That said, did you learn stuff from it? Are there life experiences there that you either do or do not want to repeat? Then there is something there. Don’t compare yourself to the 20 year olds, because you aren’t them. You have other positive qualities. Use those. And a little more physical attractiveness does t hurt, though it isn’t everything.

I think I have interesting perspective to share... grew up a fat kid, jacked by 20, really jacked by 21 (single digit body fat at 205 lbs, and bald at 22.) You’re a good looking guy—- it’s that you need to figure out who you are and what you offer. When I was a thirsty guy, I didn’t do well. When I got jacked and got some self confidence, even though I was balding, I did well. Why? I knew who I was and what I can offer. You have more life experience than the women you’re chasing. Use that to you…

You’re right. There’s no problem with it at all. Generally, the people who are asking for advice about their baldness are newly bald. So the “own it” advice is for those people who may feel a bit vulnerable when making that change. I know that I certainly did. But as a bald guy, hats are essential. And if there is something that makes you feel good wearing it, it doesn’t matter. The fear is that people always use it as a crutch, that’s all.

Went bald at 22. Have an enormous head. Size 8 fitted hat. The biggest thing is own it. There is nothing less attractive than not being confident. Honestly, being bald is a great filter for picking up women. There are some women that will not find it attractive. Period. Awesome, fine, thanks. I appreciate you not wasting my time. There are women who do find it attractive. So right away, they’re pre-disposed to you. It’s very polarizing. I used to use my baldness as an excuse to break the touch b…

Please don’t get defensive with this forthcoming comment, it is meant to help. The tone of your response there, was, for lack of better term, a bit childish. Instead of internalizing the advice I just gave you, your response came off as a “woe is me.” Sort of thing. You are more mature than these women. You are older than they are. Don’t try to act like a 19 year old, because then you’re putting yourself in the same pool as your “competition.” What are your strengths? What can you offer that her…

Nope. I went bald at 22. Balding all through college. I thought that it impacted every conversation that I had with people... and it did. Not because they gave a shit. But because I did. When I realized that nobody cared... I stopped caring. The key, is don’t be defensive about it.

So much to unpack here dude. First, yeah, stop with the porn. Second, being 24 and going back to college will be shooting fish in a barrel, if that’s what you’re into. You can buy booze without a fake. Instant cred. Also, for the love of god, do not pretend to be gay just to talk to them. That is you being dishonest and manipulative. Nobody likes that. Not an attractive quality. You have experiences that your peers to not. That is always an advantage. Also, own up to why you’re older. Don’t hide …

Oh absolutely. I didn’t say I was immune... but I think when you start to get a little older, you worry less about these things. I think the fact that you’re grappling with them now and understand that your response is rooted in your own emotions is a lot further ahead than I was at 22. As for your last point, yeah. It would suck. I wouldn’t like to hear it. Like I said, not immune

Going to try to change your frame here. I think I might be a little older than most of the posters here. (27). I hated that for a while... but you get over it dude. What is the real issue? Do you not feel special when you have sex with her because of a high count? That you didn’t achieve anything worth achieving because a lot of other people have gone there? Then your issue is seeded in your masculinity and how you perceive yourself versus other men. It’s as if you are using success with women a…

Ok so you’re on the right path. What are you good at? What are you passionate about? Even if it’s weird or silly, own it. My biggest hobby is go-karting. Kinda silly for a 27 year old guy, no? Especially because I’m a bigger dude, so I look kinda like bowser in a kart. But I own it. My girlfriend finds it hilarious and comes to do it with me, because she can tell how important it is to me. What about you? Also, how do you dress? Do you have a style, whatever it is? Does it show a plan?

This is like shooting fish in a barrel dude. Don’t worry about it. For a few main reasons. A. The hardest part of picking up a girl is initiating the conversation. Your friends have done it for you. B. By agreeing to meet with you, she already at least thinks that there is a chance for you. She has already blocked time out of her day to hang out with you. C. Most people would find this awkward. She probably will. This is a perfect opportunity because you can ease the tension and make this girl c…

Valid concern, actually. Especially if you don't know this girl well at all. I think it's a fantastic date idea, tbh. Hike, spend time doing fun things, break the touch barrier teaching her how to shoot? All yeses in my book. Does it have a website or something? At least that way she can look at it, or send t to her friends? At least someone knows where she is, could give her peace of mind.

Right. But by lifting to put on muscle (which is very taxing on the body), provided, of course, that you keep your diet in check, you will shed fat in the process. A rule of thumb is 70 percent of your body is made in the kitchen, the other 30 percent in the gym. If you're 175 lbs and decide to eat 4000 calories a day while you lift, you will put on fat in the process. Maybe not so at 2500.
/r/seduction19/09/16 09:00 PM
8

Absolutely. Can't outlift a bad diet.
/r/seduction19/09/16 08:32 PM
6

meathead checking in. Work on putting on the muscle. Muscle is more metabolic than fat; you'll lose the fat just by the virtue of putting on the muscle. Until you become more of an advanced lifter the old adage "you can't put on muscle and drop fat at the same time" isn't really true.

This is a prime situation to pick up women. You are already in the social circle with them... And you have excellent conversation starters. Much of the defenses are down. Just be yourself... And start conversations with everyone right away

Not If it worked in total, if it worked for you. Do you want to see her again? You may end up eating a few... But nothing ventured nothing gained

Depends on what it is. If you're going somewhere for dinner that isnt Chateau Du SpendAllYourMoney... then yeah, sure. (Not that you should be going there on a day 2). If it doesn't work out for you, and you end up with another date one... On that one I've said... don't worry, I've got it. You just treat me to the next one. Then try to do something of similar price point.
/r/seduction22/12/15 05:30 AM

...What do you have to lose by going? What lesson are you going to teach her? Don't miss out on something that could end up working out for you... because maybe you weren't that attractive stud that you are on that particular day. Go with an open mind, but keep it in the back of your mind too.

You don't have one-itis with this girl. I don't know if you even believe she's right for you. The reason why you feel you have something to prove to this girl is because it is hard to understand why/how someone could hurt you when you care so much about them. So, you feel the need to prove to her that it didn't hurt you the way that it did. I know, I've been there. Started going bald at 16... I was convinced that every conversation I had with a girl... She was thinking about it, and that t affected the conversation. It did affect the conversation, but I got the reason wrong. It was because it was on my mind the whole time. Nobody gives a shit about it as much as you do, I promise. Shaved it at 22... Now 25... So this post actually got me thinking quite a bit, because what you're asking here is both right in line with a lot of the advice on this sub---- and then also directly in conflict. The good- do something exciting, give something girls to latch on to.... Conflict- be genuine. So, my suggestion is this: Is there something that you've always wanted to do, but never had the balls to try? Or something that you've been putting off till that magical time called "later?" Do that thing. It could be lear…

Be successful, and passionate about your work. Unfortunately, it will be harder to meet people because you're not in a cluster of people in your age group. If it's any consolation, more fun can be had after college if you know where to look. (Fraternity guy here)- it was actually considerably cheaper to live in the house than dorming with the school. Add that to the fact that the houses will have chefs and it ends up saving a couple thousand a year. Sure, some of it goes to dues and socials... B…

Shave it. Source, 25 year old who shaved at 22. I became super conscious of it... And the fact that I let it bother me was unattractive... Not the actual fact that it was thinning. Biggest benefit... It's particularly polarizing. Some women won't give you a second look because of it, but some women really like the look. You'll be able to screen them pretty quickly. (Jacked bald guy stereotype is a thing... Use it) Second biggest... Great way to break the touch barrier. Grab a girls hand and rub …

First of all, think about it this way: It is easier for men to orgasm because a male orgasm is necessary for the survival to the species. A woman's orgasm is purely for pleasure, and they have an organ that is specifically for that (clitoris). While men simply need friction in the right places to orgasm, its more complicated for that for women. There are a lot of mental/emotional factors. Its not good or bad, it simply is. Thing 1. For women, the arousal starts well before you "get in there." Th…

I think a few people have touched on it, but it's a bit off the mark. Honestly dude, do what comes naturally. Don't overthink it. When I was a senior in college... I had a couple of consistent hookups that I would talk to in varying degrees during the week. Hookah bars? Also, if you can stand to go to a bar and have one or two, the smoking is a great way to pivot and take a girl home Edit- sometimes a small letter makes a big difference.

This is going to sound like all the stuff on here, but I digress. Start meeting other women. Hook up with other women. Don't rub it in her face, but make sure she knows that other women like you. Validation is key here... As she has to shake the frame of thinking of you only in that way. Right idea, however, about wanting to disappear. However, don't. If she's a good friend of yours, don't throw her away. Good friends are hard to come by.

After going through this, there are a lot of butthurt keyboard warriors active today... Note how some of the advice is about getting back at her like she owes you something. She doesn't. If you see her at the gym, offer her a smile, acknowledge her and keep walking, that's all. You show her you're "above" what she did to you by not letting it get to you. Look at it from her perspective: she either sees A: a butthurt guy who avoids eye contact or is whiny.... Or B: someone who really didn't care …

Be careful with this advice... It's too much of a good thing if that makes sense. The type of "control" that this guy is talking about sounds a bit emotionally manipulative. Yes, it's good to make a girl chase a little bit... But it sounds like this person views women as lesser... How does he know what she wants... Like a dog chasing a ball?? Seriously? Don't become a misogynist... Gives the whole community a bad name.

I'm going to give you typical reddit advice but for a different reason. I think it may be best to shut it down because in this situation... It will require a sacrifice for one of you and you won't be happy. Her: she breaks down and she sleeps with you... Also... Keep in mind that they may be checking you out but are more sneaky about it than a guy is. I thought that girls weren't checking me out... Until I started going to the gym with my girlfriend and she pointed it out to me... That they are much more sly than we are, haha
/r/seduction18/05/15 02:07 PM

Right. Telling other people relationshps are pointless and strange... But talking about them with you. Go for it. If you get blown out, prom is around the corner and then you graduate and then nobody cares. Unless you really want to maintain them, those relationships from high school don't mean much afterwards anyway. Go for it, you have literally nothing to lose.

Girl 2: haha sounds good. Break a leg! Note: sorry it's in two posts, on phone. But the thing here is don't be butthurt that they won't come. Try again in the future, and if it becomes a pattern, move on.

I'm not quite sure that's the point. Further up in the thread, advice is given don't approach girls at the gym because they're there to work out and don't feel sexy, etc. Then, when he sees one that has her make-up done and is in an attractive package, and does look attractive, he is told not to approach her because she isn't there to be attractive for him. It stops becoming transient when you want to bring that part with you through any changes. I chose not to do it in college. I'm in professional school now, separated from my girlfriend until September. If we continue on this path, the job, city, it will all have to be worked out if we want to bring the relationship past school. You have to find someone who is on board with that as well.

Elbarobaro sounds like a but hurt chump tbh... He has a point that people don't know what they want, but there are good manifestations of assholes with confidence as well. What it sounds like is that you just haven't found somebody good enough for you yet. I'm 23/m and was in a similar situation when I was younger... Smart... Played a bunch of sports, did theatre, thought I was okay looking... But nothing. Then I got to college and made a bunch of drunken mistakes... And it just made me vain and…

I guess that explains the trend that there is a positive relationship between looks and sexual partners for men, but an inverse for women. Edit: I should clarify.... There are cut off points I'm sure... maybe average looking women have more sexual partners than incredibly attractive ones? Whatever, I'm proselytizing on the interwebs.

Do you think you talk too much? Because other people may think that about you besides her... and maybe she could have opened your eyes to it. Or maybe she's not interested. But in the acute scenario, yeah, listen more, ask for her thoughts.

Purely physically? Possibly. Other stuff, not even close. I've heard a girl describe it as hook up date down. If a girl dates a guy who is slightly less good looking than she is, she won't be worried about him cheating. But that's just one article I read, by one author.

Has to be a change in your mindset dude. You have to want more or look for different girls. I use seduction "techniques" on my girlfriend all the time. For example... we were in barnes and noble last weekend... and she was reading a book about interior design or something that I wasn't interested in... and I pretended like I had never met her and turned it into an insta-date. With my girlfriend. It was awesome. She loved it as well.

One of my roommates never really goes out, is 26 years old... and laments the fact that he doesn't have a girlfriend, etc. One time, we had a conversation about women... and he commented about the fact that it was obvious to him that I was good with women, and that I always got girls, and he always got rejected. We are in a professional school where there are maybe three hundred students... and I was able to find a girlfriend out of the single ones there, but he always got rejected. I asked him …

Sure. If you invite a girl over to watch a movie with you, and she says yes, she's already interested. She is putting herself out there to do this with you. She knows it will be at least a little bit intimate, the two of you alone on a couch. You're playing with house money. Go for it dude.

If she's down to sit and watch a movie with you... Then she's already interested. If I'm sitting next to her I'll be like wait. Don't move. And put my head in her lap and be like... Hah! Knew it. Awesome pillow. Then put your hand on her leg as well Source: guy on the interner

Ask her to wingman you. It will change the lens with which she views you. She will be trumpeting your finest qualities to other women... And she may realize that she is attracted to you through this repurposing. If not, then you have a hot female friend who will give you social proof with other girls. A good friend if you ask me.

What are the things you like to do? What are you good at? What is a skill that you always wanted to acquire? These are the things that should give you validation, not people in your life. If you are not enough for yourself, then who will be?

Are you able to make jokes about your height? I'm 23 and bald... and I make jokes about it all of the time. Talk about how things are funny for your vantage point... call girls taller than you giant (playfully of course)... make it an asset. It shows that you're comfortable in your own skin. That is more important.

I am surprised by some of the negative outpouring against this guide. Its more of a way to navigate social interactions than anything else- it doesn't even have to be used on women you're trying to sleep with. For example... I was at the grocery store with my mom a week ago, and we were inline when she opened a bag of popcorn and got a little bit stuck in her tooth. Instead of just telling her, I looked at her and went, "Psst, mah. The popcorn kernel in your tooth is very becoming on you." It go…

I've grown alot through this dude... I was the type that needed the female validation for problems I was having internally... As if it were a success in my life that I could point to. Then it defined me for a while, where a night out was a failure if I weren't getting laid afterwards. I'm on the other side of it at this point. I'm going out and enjoying my friends and whatnot... But I'm using a lot more day game so to speak as I'm enjoying unraveling and understanding people to a deeper level th…

I just get really friggin hammered and make sure I move to the beat with a huge smile on my face. I'm having more fun than anyone else and it is quite apparent. I have no formal dance instruction whatsoever, yet I've been asked where I learned how to dance. If you're in a club or at a festival, it really, really, doesn't matter.
/r/seduction18/12/13 04:01 PM

The first question I would ask is: Why are you going to the club? Are you going solely to pick up women? Because people will be able to tell, and it's hard to pick up women when you're "periscope up" so to speak. Secondly, admit right off the bat that you are there by yourself. I've been to a few shows on my own because there was a DJ that I wanted to see. If you are having fun there independent of your endless pursuit of the fairer sex, it will rub off on people. More people have come up to me …

Every time I caught myself thinking about it at work or something I'd be like... don't be ridiculous. So what? It still goes through my head sometimes, but you must do your best to dismiss it. Also, talk to the girl if you think it may help. Shockingly, sometimes they can be reasonable people. I told the one I was with last night. She chuckled, thought it was fine, and is sitting on my lap as I write this.

It is all in your head. I've been there too dude. Let me ask you this question. What if it doesn't go well? So. What. Even better, you can talk to the girl about it. Be like, hey, you know, I wanted to try to impress you and sometimes this happens, its not a reflection on what I think of you or anything... its just that I'm a guy and I get in my own head. If she laughs, or doesn't want to hook up again or something... well, ok. I was so far in my own head... that it was all that I could think ab…

So make it how you want it. If you guys are close... You can make sexual comments to her if she looks cute. I'm sure she would like to hear it from a friend... Whenever a female friend asks me how she looks... I'm like... I mean I'd hit it... Or I have a friend, whenever she tells me about when she goes shopping, I remind her of a rule. When she thinks if something looks good, I tell her to think... " how would it look on penis so small's floor?" You'd be surprised

Alternatively, you can practice this sort of stuff with your friends. I'm in my early 20s... and my sister just turned 18, so naturally all of my friends tell me how much they think she's hot, etc... So, I can either A: pretend to be butthurt about it or B: turn the conversation. example: Buddy: I'm just saying man, she's fair game now.. just commenting. Me: I know right? She's in college now too, rushing a sorority. Those girls are nuts. I'd try booze. Buddy- Well its not very fun if you're not…

I love to tease women... and naturally, they are almost always ready to give it back... now I have a shaved head because I was going bald... so naturally women will go to my lack of hair... and it always ends up working in my favor... because I'm not butthurt about it and use it to my advantage. Example. Me: You're in med school? People will actually take you seriously with blonde hair? Her: Now that wouldn't be a problem for you now, would it? Me. Whoa. Hold on. Time out. This is not something that applies to me... so I'm going to spitball, throw out a few things. Pick and choose what applies to your situation. If I'm at a bar and were standing and talking, I have a very simple test. I'll pretend not to hear what she said, ask her to repeat it, and put my hand in her lower back as I lean in. If she lets me leave it there for a few seconds, I know that she is comfortable with the idea of me touching her.

Appreciate you clearing your use of the job system, haha. But I think that te hb 9 has really got to be the last of the people you engage. I'm sure that if she's that good looking, she's used to guys talking to her and blowing off her friend, etc. get the guys in the group to like you, the hb6 to think you're awesome... And tease the hb-9 after. You will have built value by getting into her social circle.

I get it dude. I have that same sort of crisis. But a conversation after I broke up with an ex gf made me feel a little better about this. It was a distance relationship and right after we broke up, I was sure she was going to go out that night and get fucked... I just thought that she would try to "get back at me" like that. But she was more mature than I was. She said that she got hit on regularly.... But would never do anything because those guys just didn't compare to me. They didn't make he…

I game females dude. All the time (I work at a 5 star restaurant... So it can be done anywhere). I don't do it for #s, but they have fun when I do it, they tip more because they had a better experience, and I get to have fun at work. All wins. I've only made a couple of sex jokes... While the aforementioned comment talks about abundance mentality, I concede that it's very hard to have that in the moment. A couple things I try to remind myself if I have to. A: actually listen to what she says. Take half a second to process it. Do you agree? If she's not making sense, call her out. The fact that you aren't willing to flatter her and call her out on her shit is a good start. B. If a conversation is dying, it's ok. You can leave it and bring it back later. A -hold that thought.…

Take out all of the stresses of your life for a second (hypothetically.) You have a whole day ahead of you with no plans. What is it do you want to do? Whatever those things are, start doing them. For example, I like karting, EDM, and I'm a gym rat. Here's another example that may be more your speed. I'm from NY, and have a fake bias against people who are from New Jersey, our inferior little brother. So every time I meet a girl from Jersey, I'll make fun of the state/her from being from it. Example: Me, "Where are you from?" Her: "New Jersey." Me: "Oh man. (with a disapproving look)... I don't know if we can be friends." Her: "Because I'm from Jersey?" Me: "Well I suppose you aren't THAT orange or anything..." It's all said with a smile an…

Elaborate. Is she asking you for money... want you to put up for something, or is she asking for an opinion on something. Its a personal issue, so that may be her letting you into her life a little bit more.
