Holy shit Hemingway is badass in this. Is this what he was supposed to be like in real life?

Did you have to unlearn things you picked up from him?

Single mothers are overwhelmingly more likely to come from neighborhoods where outlooks are not so bright (the very reason why many of them are single mothers). I'd be interested to see if this holds true when race, class, etc. are held constant.

Why the fuck would someone with a secret like that go on this show? I wonder if Frank gets any of her winnings as part of the divorce settlement.

Perhaps, but I think examining the fantasy tells us a lot more than whatever a chick might say in a post about her expectations in a man lol.

Excellent points. Do you think the pursuit of men's rights or the promotion of respecting masculinity is useless? Not to say that my rant post is liberating anyone. But, for example, would you join or support an organization working to that end? On the one hand, I can see that it is kinda like beating your head against a wall and trying to knock it down. Oooh, scathing! I am not saying both genders are the same, but that is the mainstream stance. It is hypocritical for them to assume that and simultaenously state that it is okay to reduce men to their physical form. I think that focusing on the bodies of men and women is the best route. Both genders do share the appreciation of a nice physical form. Indifference may be your personal philosophy and it admirable to be stoic, but it isn't the only valid view.

Upon seeing this again the most annoying thng has to be the guy in the background urging him to leave her alone. As if this guy is somehow harassing the woman. Thankfully another dude is like "no, she's a stupid drunk. Go get your money." Probably just wanted something explosive to film, but still good advice.

Haha, this whole incident made me think of Bill Burr! His podcast is excellent if you're ever bored. He has great opinions on divorce laws too.

Good post! I'm curious do you guys agree that a woman's desire to keep her name is a red flag? That practices strikes me as slightly anachronistic, but I'm curious about other opinions.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
