Saw Superman and was very impressed by Cavill's physique. I looked up his workout online and found this article comparing superheros of years past to today.

It just strikes me as a litle bit funny that it is acceptable for men to face a physical ideal to compare themselves to, according to this professor. If the word female were substitued for male, well you guys know the shit storm that would ensue. If men and women are equal, why do we have to love and cherish tubs of shit while the expectation placed on us is to be a chisled god?

I'm not saying men shouldn't strive for that either! Personally, I was inspired by what Cavil has attained [He used to be fat, I used to be skinny] and I do believe in pushing yourself to achieve the body you want. I think you should be aware that there is an ideal basically. But the double standard is quite evident and a little annoying.
