Spot on.
/r/seduction06/12/17 04:58 AM

I agree... but that particular conversation in the OP about Excel is not, because the guy doesn't actually care about it, but he's talking about it anyway.
/r/seduction06/11/17 01:24 AM

Thanks for the feedback, man. Really appreciate it :) It came from a larger free course that I wrote. You can get it here: https://beardstrokings.com/stop-being-boring/

Sure.
/r/seduction11/07/17 03:21 PM
2

Then work on that.
/r/seduction09/07/17 07:08 PM

They're just examples. You can make your own steps, or squeeze other steps in-between.

Who says opening up is about baggage?
/r/seduction04/07/17 09:56 PM

Sure, mate. Will try to remember to do that.
/r/seduction03/07/17 01:47 PM

Correct. It's a guest post I wrote for Nick.

Alright. Give me one that you really enjoy and answer the same questions. Ideally one that you have difficulty explaining to someone else.

1- If you can't figure out what you enjoy about it, other people won't understand why you like it either and won't be able to connect with the topic. "What you enjoy about something" is one of the concepts that allows other people to be able to relate to your "weird" hobby. You have to find a way to connect your weird hobbies to concepts that anyone can relate to. Perhaps you like difficult challenges with many moving parts, which is a more universally relatable concept than "grand strategy empl…

Good response from righteouscool. But what about for when you don't have another topic (singing) to connect with. What do you enjoy about languages? What do you get out of learning them? Just to stick to one example.
/r/seduction25/04/17 12:23 AM
3

But you understand the example, right?
/r/seduction25/04/17 12:14 AM

Hey mate, let's go with the first hobby. What do you get out of origami? What do you enjoy about it?
/r/seduction25/04/17 12:11 AM
2

Sure. What do you get out of art/drawing? What do you enjoy about it?
/r/seduction25/04/17 12:10 AM
1

Let's go with the first hobby. What do you get out of thinking about grand strategy employed during warfare? What do you enjoy about it? I'm not sure I follow. In which part do you feel you were being dishonest?
/r/seduction25/04/17 12:09 AM
2

Do you have an example of one of these inside jokes and the situation you'd use it in?
/r/seduction25/04/17 12:06 AM

Cool. Let's go with the first one. What do you get out of anime? What do you enjoy about it?
/r/seduction25/04/17 12:01 AM

What do you enjoy about guns and military? What do you get out of those hobbies?

Yep!

The "right way" meaning taking into consideration how the other person will receive what you say. So say your friend is like "Hey there's this awesome cruise next month that I've been thinking of going on." You hate cruises, so an inauthentic response would be "Yeah that sounds cool." (with no intention of actually going) An authentic response might be "I hate cruises", but all you want to do is avoid falsely communicating interest. You don't want to shit all over your friend's idea and kill his…

It's about LEARNING to use your thoughts, rather than simply hiding them. It takes time and trial & error, and there are different levels of mastery... it's not a binary thing. You'll think you understand it, then you'll hit a wall where you can't figure out how to use them, because they're too flamboyant... then later you figure out how to use your thoughts in that situation, and your understanding improves.

More like... "Do I seem..." (pause, with this face) "suspicious?" But more like a cross between that suspicious look and James Bond sex eyes.
/r/seduction06/04/17 04:24 PM
2

"Are you always this anxious?" I agree. This is good too. But I disagree with your assessment of "do I seem suspicious" because it depends heavily on the way you say it. I wasn't asking her genuinely if I seemed suspicious. I delivered it in a way (with a matching facial expression) that made her realise she didn't have to have her guard up. So she dropped it. And another thing. If you're going to say "Are you always this anxious?", you have to deliver that the right way too. I'm not sure I can …

She dropped her guard, yeah. But I ended up sleeping with another girl.
/r/seduction06/04/17 02:38 PM
2

You read it in a way that was cringey as fuck. Read it differently.
/r/seduction06/04/17 02:36 PM
1

Most importantly it needs to be a genuine observation. 100%. Too many guys compliment women with "Nice (whatever)" without genuinely making an observation... and women can sense it. I've seen them say "What's nice about my handbag?" back, and the guy had no idea what to say haha.
/r/seduction06/04/17 02:35 PM
6

It's not so much about listening for knowledge or for information. Let me give you another example. On the weekend I approached a girl at a bar with the line "Hi". She said hi back, but kind of slowly. The "who are you?" kind of hi. So my response was "Woah, that was a really suspicious hi. Do I seem suspicious?" I was listening in the sense that my full attention was on her. And I asked that question in order to understand her experience. That's the kind of listening I'm talking about.
/r/seduction05/04/17 09:57 PM
4

True that.
/r/seduction05/04/17 09:51 PM
1

Give me a specific example of what you'd want to say to her, and I'll tell you if it's a good idea or not.
/r/seduction20/12/16 01:43 PM
3

"You're making me nervous. I'm not usually this nervous." Can be sexy too ;)
/r/seduction20/12/16 01:42 PM
3

Not sure what you mean?
/r/seduction20/12/16 06:52 AM
14

You're assuming we can feel them all at the same time. I can't imagine feeling more than 2 or max. 3 at once. You wouldn't be able to comprehend it. And there are certain emotions that you would just never feel in combination with each other. And we can limit it further to combinations that we are all familiar with, that we feel relatively often.

Stop filtering yourself means to speak, rather than not speak. Say what you're truly thinking and feeling. Don't overanalyse whether the other person will find your thoughts interesting enough, or smart enough, or whatever. But still choose the right words when you do speak, so that you articulate your thoughts clearly. The two points are complimentary to each other. Know what I mean?
/r/seduction07/11/16 03:53 AM

Yeah give this a try... Do it while listening to music, and instead of focusing on the breath, just keep bringing your focus back to ONE instrument in the track.

Thumbs up, man!
/r/seduction18/10/16 11:11 PM

Good question. I don't think it's a strict requirement to close your eyes actually. But it makes it more difficult because there are more distractions. I'd start with eyes closed. You can try eyes open once you get the hang of it if you like.
/r/seduction18/10/16 11:11 PM
3

If that was your first time meditating, that's pretty impressive. Welcome to the present moment. I'm really happy it worked for you :) Just make sure you don't fall into the trap of chasing that feeling next time. I can be a pretty big distraction, and it prevents you from getting to that state of calm.

Are we both talking about the same "aware"? In the way it's described in this article?

In short: be playful too. Flirt, introduce sexual tension, touch them. Express your interest. You're not a doormat. You've got the hard part down. The rest is easier.

I agree that you shouldn't launch into level 10 openness from the get go. Start at level 1, then give her a chance to reciprocate. Then go to level 2. You still go first though.

Thanks :) The reason I couldn't last long in bed was because tension would build up in all the different parts of my body during sex. My muscles would tense up, my breathing quickened, my head had thoughts about coming quickly flying through it, etc. And before I did the exercises I was never really aware of all the individual things happening with my body. I just knew I was stressed in my head, and couldn't pinpoint why. Once I learned to break that stress down by noticing all of the individual…

There are so many other things to consider when you're talking about social interaction: body language, posture, rhythm/speed of speech, tone of voice, gestures, facial expressions, style, etc. Maybe it's one of those that you haven't got quite right yet, or even something else?

I have a terrible memory for actual dialogue but the sentiment of each story comes from personal experience. The first one wasn't one particular experience, but rather the residue of having experienced something like that many times. To be honest the setting of the grocery store probably came from you on a subconscious level, because I read your own grocery store story recently, haha.

Yep, it's kinda funny, because I think they do care about the other person. I think people who put themselves out there like that are desperate to connect. They think that shoving themselves down other people's throats is the best way to do it, when in fact it has the opposite effect.

It gets you out of your left-brain (analytical mind) and starts using your right-brain (creative mind), so you can run conversations based on feeling rather than logic. It's a matter of training. Once upon a time you trained your mind to be Boring Boris and killed Fuck It Felicity. If you want her back you have to start small and build on it. What's one thing you do often, like every day, that could be classified as Boring Boris? Start with just changing that.
