The boss won't dump you for; * gaining weight * getting old * being a bitch And if they do, you can probably sue them for work place discrimination. Additionally a boss won't withhold your pay if you don't suck his dick, he won't sleep with your best friend behind your back, abuse you or your children, spend all your money on porn/alcohol, make his family your problem, or embarass you in front of your community. If you're boss is a dick you just find a new job, and if your pay is too low your le…

Cool. Still doesn't change my opinion on the consequences John's face for soliciting prostitutes. If legal consequences are voted out in my lifetime (doubtful), I'm still still on board for social shaming.

But instead, a guy who uses a prostitute is at risk of jail time, fines, massive shame and embarrassment, and even permanent sex offender status in some states. and this is a problem because...?

Do you not think harmful rhetoric around entire classes of people can be bad for their overall mental wellbeing? No, not really. Isn’t that the entire point around identifying and stopping racist or sexist rhetoric? I always though that was a fool's errand. society was saying stuff en masse like “black men are violent/thugs/gangsters” would that not impact the mental wellbeing of young black boys? People have been saying X about Y since forever, that hasn't stopped the success stories from risin…

Its just another hero's journey/jesus allegory. The twist to that concept comes in later books, but it's kinda hinted at that a jesus allegory ain't great for everyone else.

Sort of, they went to juvie since they were under the age 18, and then after I think 30 days they transferred to home for wayward youth/military academy/labor camp type place until they were 18. I had a restraining order against the both of them for 5 years, but I left for college at 17 and just tried to put it all behind me. The court case didn't really go in my favor because my testimony was terrible and I didn't say much to my lawyer or the police.

Well I got the job on the automotive account, I feel rather numb about it. I suppose its better than scrambling to find a job and then deal with that anxiety. Is this burn out? Puberty itself wasn't traumatizing, I was precocious and prepared myself by reading lots of my older female cousin's teen mags (Seventeen, Sassy, Teen Vogue, etc) and hanging around with them. However at 14 I was violently sexually assaulted + stalked + plus one of the OG victims of "revenge porn" (aka pictures taken during the assault that were released on the internet). I had to to go the police, then court, then I had to change high schools. THAT was traumatizing.

You can’t just start a whole new family with people who aren’t related to each other and have no real emotional investment in each other, OK? It just doesn’t work, no matter how badly you want to believe it will. What? People have been doing this ever since family units become a concept to us. There was a lot of death/war/plagues in history, survival depending on forming new family units via marriage with people who are not related to each other. In terms of humanity's progress and survivability…

There is general hair loss that everyone deals with, 50-100 strands a day. There is male pattern baldness which is a matter of androgen production. And then there is alopecia, which I think when the immune system attacks the hair cells. Alopecia only affects hair cells, so people are otherwise healthy.

men that only sleep with prostitutes? Buying sex is already toying with the idea that purchaser doesn't care about the purchasees consent, but solely getting sexual gratification from prostitutes is a giant red flag for dysfunctional sexuality/sexual commodification, and "othering" of women. Once you've decoupled women from their humanity you've opened the Pandora's box of sexual mistreatment/abuse/rape/violence/etc.

I'm a fan of the Braun silk expert series. I have the pro 3 as it fit my budget, but if I had more $$ to work with at the time I would have shelled out for the pro 5. It's been about 12 weeks and I've had a SIGNIFICANT reduction in leg and facial hair. I'm at the point where I don't really have to shave anymore (maybe one a month for upkeep with IPL treatment) where as before I was shaving pretty much every other day.

Tl;dr, no one really knows why. Vitamin A promotes skin cell turn over as well as affects oil production. I just assume it's the skin reacting to altered oil production until it becomes acclimated and calms down.

notes on a night out: 2 venues; an upscale Greek restaurant and then a nostalgia arcade/bar for aging millennials. I'd say 99% of the women I saw at both venues were either coupled up or part of a mixed gender group. I was approached by 3 separate strangers while I was by myself waiting to order a drink at the bar. Everyone was cordial and the small talk was pleasant, they graciously took the hint when I ordered 2 drinks instead of one. It dawned on me that waiting near the bar to order a drink …

I'm attending a fancy event tomorrow night and I've come to the painful realization that my feet are wholly deconditioned for high heels. I've spent the better part of two years barefoot or in slippers, sneakers, and comfy boots. The handful of single post wall women I know are in my family. They seem to be enjoying themselves; employed, own their own homes, travel for leisure, if they want a man for a night they call one up, if they want kids they babysit for a weekend and send them back on Sunday night. They all live near each other and like to get together and cook, party, travel, shopping, etc. The youngest two of the bunch spend half the year traveling and collecting a few boytoys along the way. The sexual ethics, marriage habits, and cultural mores west of the Hajnal line (i.e. western Europe) were imported to America and are the basis of western dating culture. East of the Hajnal line (i.e. east of Italy) people are more concerned with virgin marriages, very low age of first marriage, and what can marginally be described as biblical attitudes towards dating, sex, procreation, and marriage.

That’s called being pleasant / agreeable and sharing the same sense of humor and that is valuable. Very valuable. But also very common. Every woman can do this and plenty of them do, for men they value. OP asks what we're worth to "HVM", we say the intangibles; our propensity to be simpatico and enrich the lives of men we value. Agreeableness is standard, but every man has an itch and he's lucky if he finds the right woman to scratch it. A teetotaler would never appreciate me rolling a Saturday …
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/22 05:21 AM

If doesn't mean anything; all of these terms are nonsense, everything is subjective. However to keep it simple, a loud section of male ppd are more likely to consider a 17 year old orphaned virgin that fucks like a pornstar and suffers from Stockholm Syndrome to be a HVW. HVW and HVM are typical what you want, have, or wish to be.

Mentioning all the things I do that my husband has expressed appreciation and gratitude for (back rubs, laughing at his silliness, buying him his favorite food, sex, social proof, etc) can be done by any woman; it's not unique, it's not a selling point. But he values it from me because I make him feel a certain way that no other woman has. That's the intangible, and the fact that some men find this incomprehensible is... telling.

Well that was quick. Found out my client was leaving yesterday, got an interview with an automotive client today. An old one actually, that I've work on before. My old company had this client before, but I was just a low level cog when I worked the account. Then my current company outbid my old company so they took the client. Now I'm at my current company about to interview with that same client. The marketing + advertising industry feels vaguely incestuous at times.

If your kids have school issued ipads/your district has money to burn kodable is a pretty good resource for kids. My son loves it, he got turned on to it via his kindergarten class and now we use the home version. ETA: For us, last years STEM week was a code-a-thon via Kodable.

Very important. I couldn't be in a relationship devoid of goofy, playful intimacy. I think that a successful relationship is held together with intimacy; sexual and playful. If you lack both its not a relationship, if you lack either its a half hearted relationship that will plod along until it inevitably falls apart. On the marriage sub there was a guy that would pop up every so often and ask if the married folk were best friends, most would say yes and then he'd argue with everyone that marrie…

The edge of FSM status jockeying are the insults/ gossip/trash talking. The older sexier woman at a high school prom is immediately disqualified via character assassination. Boys will drool, but the girls will be too busy bonding over icing out the interloper. Women aren't generically threatened by the existence of other attractive women, she has to have value attached to the FSM at play.

I don't understand what view is supposed to be changed. I thought it was widely understood that young women prefer nonthreatening representations of masculinity (kpop, boybands, neotenous features, androgyny), but as they age they become more comfortable with mature representations of masculinity (muscular, tall, body hair, angular facial features, etc). I have a not so sneaky suspicion this thread will rapidly turn into "women bad, therefore I deserve an adolescent virgin waifu".

The west has gone through several cultural revolutions that coincided with world wars, economic prosperity, or tech/science booms. The advent of youth culture and mass marketing cemented the concept of exploration and all its facets. If you don't like it, there's the door.

I recently watched a documentary about a Pakistani enclave in GB that had like a 4000% increase in weird (and horrific) genetic disorders. Of the adults interviewed it was 50/50 if they could admit that their cousin marriage resulted in their fucked up kids, however all the youth they interviewed (first gen immigrants) all thought cousin marriages were some nasty ass backwards shit.

You may be the exception women in this case I don't think so. I think there is a strata of women (for example, children of immigrants) in US society that are taught they have to work a 'real' job (i.e. something STEM related) instead pursuing a fluffy art career or relying on a man.

I noticed the latest trend are scrunch butt leggings that get sucked up into the ass crack. I can't speak to their comfort but they seem wholly designed for social media + the male gaze. My husband is not a possessive man, but I know he'd have a BIG problem with me wearing those out and about (much less taking pictures of myself and posting them all over the damn place).

I don't understand how some women can post such aggressive ass shots on the internet, the whole thing mortifies me (especially when they do it in the gym!). I don't mind posing for a full body shot, but posing like I'm taking a dump or suffering from severe anterior pelvic tilt just seem so god damn cringe. Honestly I think the whole thirst trap phenomena is beyond me.

I'd be annoyed that he got into to MMA, and then not surprised he lost. My husband is 38 years old, 145 lbs, and has a bad knee. Why the fuck would he think this was a good idea? After the feeling of "you dumbass" subsided I'd pat him on the back, say "you can't win 'em all", and then ask if he wants some ibuprofen or ice for his inevitably fucked up knee. Hopefully the loss would shake some sense into him and we'd resume our lives as only spectators of retarded combat sports.

Yes, same complaints have cropped up in figure skating circle. I've found myself enjoying ice dancing more so than pairs or singles figure skating, at least ice dancing looks fun/artistic, and the participants seem to be adults.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/22 05:15 PM

Well gymnastics certainly had a revamp, gone are the days of Béla Károlyi and his emaciated underage gymnasts. Now we have higher age requirements for competition and I'd say Team USA has been winning medals because of that pivot. But yes the IOC is hella corrupt, no question there.

Watched a documentary about Russian figure skating factoriescamps, its wild they have 5 and 6 year old girls mastering all the triples, and then mastering quads by the time they're 11, 12 years old. When I was 5-6 I was mastering the waltz jump, by 11-12 I was training doubles and working up towards triples. Quads weren't even a concept for women's figure skating at the time. Now we have 15 year old Russian girls pulling off 4 quads a program, hopped up on PEDs, only to retire at 17 after blowin…

So queue a montage of her trying different things (i.e. BDSM lite) and her husband expressing disgust or indifference. Eventually they settle on something; home invasion rape roleplay! I said more likely, because they are more likely. "A greater proportion of women report fantasies involving masochism" which aligns with rape fantasies, however "a greater proportion of men report having fantasies involving sadism, exhibitionism, and fetishism compared with women". Ultimately rape fantasies have fuck all to do with my point, which is that men have low disgust thresholds, thus they happily and willingly stick their dicks into any and everything.

Damn, I'm starting to get fucked up ballet feet. I was hoping to include 'cute feet' as a part of my stop-being-a-work-from-home-gremlin 2022 glow up, but it looks like thats not in the cards. Going en pointe is pretty much saying 'hey, you got functional feet? too bad, I'm gonna fuck your shit up FOR FLAIR'.

Between 16 and 21 my husband was a pretty prolific fuckboi. N count of 50+, orgies, 3somes, whatever, whenever, whomever. By 20/21 he grew tired of the pussy carousel, as it goes hand in hand with drama, crazies, STD and pregnancy scares. When he met me he decided he was done with it for good, and relentlessly pursued monogamy and shortly thereafter, marriage. My husband's BFF is what I think of when y'all talk about Chad. He's tall, square manly jaw, beautiful blue eyes, thick black hair, muscu…

Marriage was never on my radar when I was 20 years old and my then boyfriend asked if I wanted to elope. We had only been dating for a month at that point. I have changed over the years, because I've grown up and taken on more responsibilities like a career and raising a child. But my husband has also changed, he's far less dramatic and impulsive, he's definitely developed patience and tolerance for other's shortcomings. I've discarded my youthful apathy because I have a child that depends on me…

/r/SkincareAddiction and youtube are the holy grail. However for the quick and dirty; sunscreen + moisturizer + an active of your choosing. If you don't mind research, The Ordinary has tons of reasonably priced, no BS products. I'm a fan of peptides, vitamin C, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and retinol (weaker, OTC version of tretinoin). Or you could just skip all that and get on /r/tretinoin, but its a powerful active than can fuck your shit up if you're not diligent about sunscreen + moisturiz…

The low end for age was 23 which I thought was ridiculous. I'm also biracial and have been ass deep in korean skin care/tretinoin for the past 6ish years. Religious sunscreen user, healthy lifestyle, blah blah blah. Regarding appearance, the lowest score was 7.1, it bounced around and then settled on 8.6. Personally I think I'm somewhere between 7 and 8.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/22 06:23 PM

lol that site rated me an 8.6, 27 years old (I'm 37), and a bmi of 19 (its 22). I'm also "Averagely normal". I believe truerateme rated me a 5 and then told me I had a long midface. 🤷

Future time Orientation, i.e. you operate your life with a sense of delayed gratification, investing, and a perception of future needs and goals. Because the feeling of 'having a girlfriend' or 'having a boyfriend' is nice/wholesome/romantic/genuine/whatever, and carries the implication of reciprocity of feeling. As opposed to FWB which implies ambivalence/indifference and lukewarm reciprocity. When a man romantically likes a woman, a key aspect of his feelings is ownership. A girlfriend is his, the FWB is for the streets.

Maybe. There are all sorts of cues to riff a narrative on from just existing in space. Hair, clothing, jewelry, tattoos, gait, how they talk or interact others, facial and body animation, ease of smile, accessories, what they're doing with inattentive time, physicality, how they fidget, etc.

Women do not have the sexuality of men. If I'm sexualizing a guy, its the whole of him. Physicality yes, but also persona, charisma, and how he makes me feel sexy. The only way I know how he makes me feel is by interacting with him or crafting a narrative around a persona he presents. EVERY MAN IS AN NPC UNTIL OTHERWISE STATED.

Taking care of a man is hard work. If sex is a low priority, companionship is met by friends/family, and child rearing is negligible (or already completed) then a man has to really bring something to the table to make all that labor worth it. Not surprising, most men don't bring much besides an unremarkable paycheck, more labor, and a sense of entitlement to her orifices.

He's so blissfully ignorant of dating coaches/PUA/seddit/TRP/manosphere/etc; it's kind of adorable.

In the US at least, anybody that is attractive and social has probably been to a night club or bar. There is a brief window of time where its not cringe, but its almost a right of passage for young adults here. These people go on to have careers in STEM, business, marketing, Law, Education, blue collar, etc, or they wash out as addicts and criminals. They get married and have kids or just play the field for the rest of their lives. Its a very large pool and hard to drawn any generalized characte…

I came of age on the internet; we got a 56k modem, Gateway PC, and AOL 3.0 when I was 11 years old. I pretty much saw the rise and fall of all major internet trends, however I've noticed little translated into meat space life. When I was in high school Myspace was the dating app, yet people still met and hooked up at parties. I never dabble too much in that aspect of the internet as I was always coupled up and then married by the time dedicated dating sites took off. I always had the sense that …

Seriously. I grew up in a house built in 1898, I have memories of watching my dad rip out ancient knob-and-tube wiring, having to lay down serious $$$$ to replace all the lead plumbing/asbestos, and more or less spend every childhood summer at the lumber yard/hardware store (because the upkeep never ends). The house we recently moved into was built in 1907 and it only has about 6 outlets for the entire house. We only agreed to this house because a fire gutted 75% of it about 10 years ago so it w…

For many houses, the older it gets the better L-O-FUCKING-L outdated electrical wiring. Shit lead pipes. Shit lead paint. rotted foundation. shifted foundation. drafts. asbestos. tree roots growing into pipes. Carbon monoxide leaks. These issues don't arise from neglect, they are literally just the reality of dealing with older construction. So tell me again why I should choose that over newer, lead free, energy efficient construction. Your metaphors are a mess.

I've financially supported my husband for the entirety of our marriage (16, almost 17 years), during that time he's enjoyed touring, being a house husband, and being a SAHD. Yeah if I was living like an asshole above my means. As stated earlier, alimony in my state is 33% of my income minus 25% of his and child support is a pittance. Property is in my name and was inherited, as were my stocks, thus they are considered non-martial assets. The biggest ding would be retirement and stock profits, but I'm not too fussed about my husband receiving half of that.

Having a track record of success, responsibility, resiliency, dedication, and FTO thinking is a benefit in all areas of life. If someone wants to LDAR because hard work is hard :(, then godspeed I guess, you won't be missed. I would say a good life entails health, companionship, and a loving family. 2 out of 3 of those are achieved via careful vetting and a healthy marriage. If you choose poorly its not the institutions fault.

A marriage doesn't grant rights or legal benefits, it is a license issued by the state recognizing a legal and economic unit. The license governs things such as property, government benefits, retirement, inheritance, taxes, next of kin, insurance, and custody. If none of these things are your concern then don't get married, no one is asking you to.

A therapist help patients develop better cognitive and emotional skills, reduce symptoms of mental illness, and cope with various life challenges to improve their lives. The thirst never ends does it? My mom is 71 years old, in the 7 years since my father died she's had to turn down 6 men trying to be her boyfriend; the latest is a recent widower (as of Sept 2021). The man is a long time family friend, actually the father of my childhood best friend, his wife was also my piano teacher. He's known my mom for about...32 years? As far as I gather he was faithful and steadfast to his wife, but 3-4 months after she kicks the bucket he's already sniffing after my mom.…

Face above all else. I mean, its what I'll be looking at the most, so I better be enamored with it. My husband has a pretty boy face (boyish, delicate, sharp), and I still swoon when he looks at me. I've never crushed on a guy because of his bicep, or doodled hearts around his name because of his height. Muscles and height are just ancillary attributes but they don't make or break attraction unless they trend towards the extremes.

Can't CMV; as much as I can be tolerant, I believe the trans issue is a mental health issue and that truly dysphoric individuals are vanishingly thin. My husband I are (or were) close friends with a MtF transperson that was groomed and sexually abused/exploited by a much older woman (43) when they were a teenager (16). In addition to the sexual abuse this person was always the butt of the joke and the bottom of the male friendship hierarchy they had in their formative years (middle + high school…

At least you can get a degree of satisfaction in real life, I’d think. Probably not. If I was a fuckwad IRL that's a whole lot of social currency I'm robbing from not only myself, but my family. Remember, no one likes a Karen, and if I'm fuckwad IRL I'm definitely going to be called a Karen.

After the initial background and criminal check (time + money) no fucks are given so long the employee's shit doesn't impede revenue and shareholder obligations. My husband spent Xmas dinner telling his mom everything she did wrong with the chicken, and then MIL almost set the house on fire, again. When I was younger it was 3 years max, now that I'm older (37) 15 years, and he'd have to be fucking exceptional to make up for it. My parents had a very large age gap (25 years), and while they had a lovely marriage there was an element of paternalism in their relationship that I found off-putting. I cannot abide by any man pulling that shit on me; I had a good father, I don't need another one. Also, old men get weird saggy barrel chests and droppy forearm skin, I can't have sex with that, not …

But I did address the question, I answered what is average from my view. OP specifically stated "I'm asking only about what you're seeing." and what I've detailed is what I see around me. Asking what is average is a rhetorical question; my average is different than welfare Mississippi average, which is different from techbro California average, etc. Our perception of average is colored by who/what is around us, its not disingenuous to point that out.

I wouldn't consider these examples of average men in my old community above average, nor these men from my new community. What is average though? In my old community an average man was 5'8", labor-fit to overweight, Hispanic, high school graduate ranging from blue collar worker to business owner, married or permanently LTR'd to a short, chubby, but pretty-to-plain Hispanic woman (probably a nurse or day care worker) with 2-5 kids in tow. In his youth he had casual flings or on-off relationships with 3 or 4 women (friends of his sisters/aunts/cousins/etc.) until he knocked one them up and commits to her. The social …

Why do you need a male friend?? I have a male friend I've known since we were children, I'm not sure why I'm supposed to throw that away now that we're adults. We've had the frank conversation about attraction; he thinks I'm too short and my tits are too small and I think his head is too big and his lack of facial hair is unfortunate. What is exactly do they do better than your boyfriend/husband?? We have obnoxious navel gazey philosophical conversations that my husband finds cringey and boring.

physical or mental discomfort/ pain for nothing more than their own satisfaction or validation. I suspect a subset of men truly want this and feel slighted when women refuse. I witnessed this in high school, an awkward, kinda fug girl named Robin was asked to a school dance by the jerk-hot-guy. Usually, but I'd say a majority women just buy nylon tights for all occasions. Silk has been relegate to a niche market as it is cost prohibitive. 1 pair of silk tights can go for $90, whereas a 3 pack of nylons can go for $11. Wool stockings are only useful for women in cold climates, and that sort of coverage can be achieved by thicker, opaque nylons (assuming the woman won't be outside for long periods of time). Generally wool tights are now a fashion rather than functional choice.

Nylon hosiery is what you see women wear on their legs under skirts and dresses. It ranges from semi sheer to opaque and is made of a blend of spandex and nylon fabric. Nylon hosiery is like, 90% of hosiery, the other 10% is cotton, wool, or silk. Cotton is impractical and doesn't hold its shape, wool is too warm for everyday use ,and silk is too expensive for average use. Anything with spandex in it is difficult for a lay woman to fix with some needle and thread. Frankly spandex is an obsolesce…

Right. I feel like these women have always existed to a degree, but aren't counted in these discussions because they are largely invisible to everyone. 🤷 When I think of women going their own way I think of my aunts and older cousins, a collection of plain/overweight/religious women that don't bother with men and instead take care of elderly relatives and wayward children. Their exposure to masculinity extends to pretty much their priest, a boy they have to raise, or an old uncle/father/etc they have to take care of.

you marry then half your inherited wealth goes to her once she can divorce you Yeah, that doesn't happen in the US. Uh, I run the gamut from Alt-Space Rock (Failure), to I don't even know how to describe this (Swans), or this (Swans), or even this (Swans), but I also greatly enjoy Neo-classical doomcore dripping with misandry (Lingua Ignota), and bands/artists like HEALTH, Author and Punisher, 3TEETH, Ken Andrews, Thom Yorke, and my ONE TRUE LOVE NIN.

Is sex not a tangible that people leave each other over? Sex can be given, taken, shared, earned, or gifted, just like resources. Per the construct; woman wants resources, if man fails to deliver she'll leave. The parallel is man wants sex, if woman fails to deliver he'll leave.

But if a woman loses her looks, gets fat, disagreeable, or goes off sex men will totally stick around and love her just as much as the day he fell for her. No desperation or inertia, just 100% pure unconditional love. 🙄

If you feel you're worth more than them, naturally you'll wish to see them miserable for "wronging you", whereas if you see their value as greater than your own you will grovel and wish them well. .....what? Of all the obtuse backwards logic around here, this really takes the cake.

I was content to be cat lady, but guys kept pursuing me so I accepted their attention and affections to pass the time. Then I met my husband; we flirted for a year, slept together, and got married a month later. All my tradcon programing turned on and 16 years later we have a cute kiddo, a house, friends, pets, community, and a life together. Thes something to be said about having a teammate in life; like shit is hard, its nice to have someone bear the load with you. Grief, loss, unemployment, c…

I prefer to meet through a social circle first so I can vet for crazy/character/observe him from a distance. The one time I went in 'blind' (i.e. a relative stranger, no social vetting) ended up with a restraining order and I had to change high schools. I met my husband at a frat party. The girl I was with was banging one of his frat bros and we wanted to buy weed. We were directed to my husband who sold us weed, smoked and chatted with us, and then went on to host the party. I ran into my husba…

I don't know anyone who doesn't listen to some kind of music, it's pretty low-effort and almost instinctual for human beings. I thought so too, until I came across 2(!) different people on PPD who claimed to not like music because its either useless or distracting.

Are TRPs/pills/cels/etc less inclined to listen to music, read literature, and study art? I feel like they have this void of knowledge regarding history/culture/interpersonal relationships that could easily be fixed if they gave a shit about anything other than gym/gaming/youtube/STEM. I remember years ago someone on ppd told me he doesn't read because reading was for betas and he rather do alpha shit like go 4 wheeling. What in the fuck? so most marriages you know of are like yours? I have no idea. There are lots of marriages, I only know of my milieu (urban millennial, college educated, health conscious/physically active, liberal, employed, financially comfortable, 1 to 2 kids max, agnostic to moderately religious, Midwestern US). People in this group seem to be happily married, I can't speak for their bedrooms because that not polite conversation, but the women and men appear to be sex educated and sex positive. do you think t…

I have a lower/reactive libido, and my husband and I sleep together an average 3 times a week. I'd be happy with once a week but he's a man, thus harmony requires a degree of effort and good will. Because I've been a good sport over the years, and also because my husband is a human being with empathy, he is happy to extend grace when I'm unable to meet him in bed. Currently I'm struggling with some health issues so our frequency has plummeted to once a week, but I don't feel hassled about it. Hi…

Before covid this was a fairly regular occurrence in my life. I had my friend Andrew (friends since we were 13) and my husband had his friend Adrienne (friends since college school). We hung out together, with a larger group, and one on one. Nobody cucked, nobody cheated, nobody even worried about that nonsense since Adrienne and Andrew have their own romantic lives. Your mindset is strange and limiting.

Her name is Megan ( or Ashley, Tiffany, April, Beth, Kayleigh, etc.), she's 23, has dull ashy blonde hair, a 6 year old child, and is about 20-40 lbs overweight. She was rapidly promoted to the night-shift manager at Shoney's because she's exceeding responsible, but she probably flunked out of community college cause she couldn't get reliable childcare. He was in Afghanistan for 80 billion years whereas I was a carefree college kid not at all equipped to deal with wartime PTSD. We were also very different culturally/socioeconomically. Anything that leans into violence, pain, or degradation. Sex should be relaxing and fun, not a psychodrama to work through feelings of powerlessness, misandry, misogyny, self hate, and trauma. No I will not spit on you, and no you cannot choke me. Also, I'm never having shower sex again. It's just a waste of everybody's time with a high risk of concussions.

despite the contempt for degrees in anything but but Stem and the dismissal of social sciences and liberal arts as vaginafest of uselessness central, 90 to 95% of the participants here have no idea what happened in the 20th century, don't read books, hate having conversations that are not useful and just Jack off to their own shower thoughts. Fairly common, for specifically designated child free events. However most social events involve kids now, so no drugs, just craft beers and the occasional weed vape behind the garage. But when we do go out to a bar or adult party, coke is as common as a mixed drink or a bowl. We never have to look, its just there or someone is offering a line. But adult parties are rare now, maybe 2-3 times a year. We got to bars maybe once a month, once every 2 months, however we're less inclined to do coke wi…

Probably the beginning of my marriage (I was 20, he was 21), as we were young, drunk, high, and mostly unemployed. Pre-selections extends as far as letting me know a given guy is probably not an irredeemable cretin. congratulation, first hurdle cleared. However pre-selection does not positively influence my level of attraction to a given guy, and could easily tip into "not worth it" territory if I catch a wiff of fuck boy energy. I signaled interest to my husband by always being in his vicinity, laughing the loudest at his jokes, perpetual giggling, flirty eyes, and I'd take an active interest in his stories/anecdotes long after the social group had moved on, which gave us an excuse to have 1 on 1 conversations and develop our own inside jokes. When I brought him dinner and hung out with him watching movies after his surgery despite the crew going to a party that night, I think that's when it clicked for him.
