I’m in the same situation here. I’m 21 living in Korea It’s extremely rare to find people who are not in the progressive mindset despite the fact that Korea is a conservative country. I only plan to work until 25 and then get married to my bf then have kids. I also live with my bf and do all the chores while he handles the financial situation. I’m also at a loss at the lack of women who have a similar values as me. If you want, you can send me a message !

I would say skip out on this one. He won’t be a good husband, father nor provider. You’re young, don’t waste anymore time on this man

I don’t think you were being harsh at all, I consider your comment a pretty courteous yet straight forward one, which I appreciate. You’re right, this is something I need to speak with him directly which I was planning to do anyway but I wanted to hear other people’s thoughts beforehand and wanted to get it off my chest because I’ve been keeping this to myself for about a month now, gathering my thoughts and trying to see if my expectations are reasonable or not because I don’t want to be rude t…

Money isn’t really the problem here but it’s really a matter of values and my potential future with him. I want to be a SAHM in a few years and that would mean I would Stay At Home and be a Mom, which means I can’t work, and he would have to be the provider for our family. Because my boyfriend didn’t refuse going Dutch on our dates, it made me worry that there may be a bigger problem (incompatible values), he may expect me to work and go Dutch in our potential marriage as well, which means our v…

Good point :D my mother did say that it would be harder to find financially stable, conservative and marriage-minded men in their 20’s nowadays.

You think that everyone else should suffer along side with you and drag everyone else down just because you and other men do while I think that individuals don’t have to suffer just because another particular group is suffering. It’s okay to have different opinions. A disgrace”? Lol. You realize that you’re speaking to a living, breathing person, a human just like you, right? It’s funny, being behind a monitor really gives people the balls to say things they wouldn’t ever think of muttering to a…

I wasn’t the one who started the feminist movement, nor did I ever participate in shaming a man for wanting a conservative woman or shame a man for having conservative beliefs. I don’t believe individuals have to pay for the consequences for the things of the group they may belong to have done nor inherit punishment for simply belonging to a group that made a mistake. I wasn’t even born when the third wave feminist movement started. “Now it’s your turn” lol the mindset that everyone has to suffe…

For sure. If we can’t come to an agreement it would be best for both of part ways. I definitely wouldn’t want to force anyone to do something they don’t want to nor would I want to compromise my values

That is a good point you made in regards to dating an unemployed student in my age bracket if I wanted to be a SAHM in a few years. I agree it wasn’t the best choice I’ve made and not so congruent with what I want for my future. Well I would say the relationship would last a month or it could be forever rather than 9 months like you said, since I just don’t see the point in fighting and nagging if that’s not what he wants, nor values. I’m happy to end things respectfully right then and there if …

Are conservatives not allowed on this subreddit?
/r/RedPillWomen16/06/21 06:34 PM

Well because I’m a conservative I believe in the maintenance of traditional gender roles wherein men are the provider. I’m not saying it is to be taken for granted but it is something I value in a man and would like to see in the man that I’m with.
/r/RedPillWomen16/06/21 06:32 PM

Yes ! I was also thinking of maybe offering to buy coffee, snacks, lunch, brunch if he buys dinner, since that is the norm in the country I live. Thank you. To me this is not a matter of money but rather of maintaining traditional gender roles

Well, I did something similar. I asked him how much I owed him, trying to see if he would accept my payment and he always tells me exactly how much money I need to give back to him. Maybe I can say what you suggested instead. Thank you

I think you’re right. That’s what I thought as well. And regards to what he wants, well he and I have different political view and values. He is a progressive/liberal. We have talked about marriage and family but never in detail. He did say he wanted to get married and have children but we never discussed any further. I’ll go speak with him after our exams. Thank you

Not really. It was just concerning since I want to be a SAHM in a few years and it made me second guess my choice because one of the traits that make a good husband is financial generosity in my opinion. Since I’m Asian and a conservative, approval of the man I’m with from my friends and family is important to me since I wouldn’t want conflict within my sphere and I trust and respect their perspective as well

I’m sorry. I may have been overly dramatic in my post because it’s been bugging me all month but after reading some comments I feel a lot calmer now. What I’m trying to say really is that I just felt off when he didn’t pay on the first date, since it’s just not something I’m used to and kind of an unspoken rule during first dates for some people. I definitely don’t expect him to pay 100%, but on most dates. If he was short on money that month and I knew about it, I’d be happy to go all out on hi…
/r/RedPillWomen16/06/21 06:13 PM

Yes I don’t expect him to pay 100% of everything. It worried me because he’s never even paid on the first date, much less the others. I’m willing to pamper and treat him for sure. I’m definitely not stingy with money especially on my loved ones, but rather concerned with what it would mean to have a man who didn’t pay on the first few dates, how that reflected on me and our dynamic
/r/RedPillWomen16/06/21 06:08 PM

Yes I want to be a SAHM in a few years. And exactly, it’s not him not paying for the date that’s the problem exactly, but what it would mean for us in the future when marriage and children come into the picture.

I understand that times have changed but I think it’s alright to have values of my own. I’m a conservative and I don’t think I have to necessarily conform to societal norms of equality between genders. I think that men and women bring different things to the table respective to their gender and I think it’s okay to acknowledge and utilize this fact. Like I mentioned, I’m willing to negotiate on this with him, if he only has $30 to spend that month on dates, I’m happy compromise and go on dates o…

Thank you I appreciate your point of view. I’m going to talk to him about this after our finals and give him some time to think about it. This.. The first red flag for me was that he wasn’t even intending to (commit to her) marry her until she brought it up... The second red flag for me was his uncertainty about her while she is ready to commit fully. I really hope this man marries her and doesn’t break this poor girl’s heart.

Exactly !! If a man asked me to move in with him to see what it’s like moving in together, I would be offended. (He wants me to commit myself as a wife to him and perform wifely duties but he does not want to go through the hassle of committing himself to me as a husband). Couples who cohabitate before marriage are more likely to get divorced. I wouldn’t give a man wifey benefits unless there’s a ring on the finger. Just like the others have suggested, set a time limit, say a month or 2 weeks. If you give him everything even before he makes the commitment, there would be no incentive for him to marry you, since you’re already giving him everything.

All I’m saying is don’t measure men and women by the same stick because they’re immensely different. Btw. Rate of single motherhood vastly has gone up. Large number of women are engaging in some form of prostitution. A notable percentage women are mentally ill. Grown women encouraging promiscuity in minors. Plenty more to prove the degenerating state of women. Not just Twitter feminists and half naked minors on tiktok. Don’t cherry pick. Lastly, men and women are intertwined. when men degenerate…

I don’t think you understood my point. I’m saying that if one was told that it’s better off for them to do nothing and was hand fed all their life, they choose would stay in that infantile state. Most would. Men are told that they should stay back and do nothing, to not interfere with the “empowerment” of women. And if they do, their breadwinner wife will take care (make a beta male out) of them. I’m not talking about all men. Not all men accept this offer. I’m talking specifically about the men…

Women are intrinsically more self conscious than men. Then we have western women who are more neurotic than women of other nationalities because of the nature of their environment. Add conditioned neuroticism and intrinsic over self consciousness then we get western women who claim that they were told all their lives that they have been told that their only value is their appearance, all their lives. Or, this claim could’ve been picked up in an idea echo chamber despite its lack of valid evidenc…

For clarification, I’m talking about an extreme end (ending up in basements because that’s at the post mentioned) and hypothesized that it’s due to degradation. I’m sure a fine number of men who were subject to the same degradation fought through it and are living decent lives. Now, addressing your point that women are “excelling”: the extreme end of women being subject to an objectification results in the surplus of women with onlyfans accounts, being sugar babies, strippers and prostitutes. So…

Then we have women who out-earn their partners. We also have a society that demands complete control over every aspect of the relationship including finance to the woman or else it’s oppression by the patriarchy. It’s a miracle that men still work when they can just sit back and while women do all the work, that’s what they insist anyway. Men don’t do things unless they have to. It’s just basic math

Because any attempt by men for achievement is labelled as oppression by the patriarchy and that we should leave it all to the women to be achievers and go-getters because any other role than that is oppressive and medieval. And that men trying to do something in their life gets in the way of women’s “progression” in society simply by their presence in any institution. They’re told that they’re not allowed to compete anymore and that the best thing that a man can do for humanity and society is to…

He needs to go see a psychoanalyst to see why this repetitive pattern of behaviour is happening. If you care to get to the root of the problem that is. You may see this repetitive pattern but he probably does not. Ask some questions to see if he is aware and if he knows why. A fair warning, do not rescue someone who does not want to be saved and be VERY careful about rescuing someone who does. This may be a bigger problem than it seems. Women wanna be feminists and be “independent” (aka do whatever they want, even if morally wrong) but still want the princess, chivalrous treatment. Pick one. They convinced the world they wanna be independent inside out and that chivalry is misogynistic then they whine about it when men do exactly what they asked. Talk about cognitive dissonance.

Isn’t goodness subjective? What you think is a good personality may be a neutral or poor one to others. As well as niceness, what one finds nice may be burdensome, or rude to others. I never redefined anything, simply stated the nature of subjectivity as this whole thing has to do with how you come across others and how you interact with them. I’m not avoiding, if I failed to address something it may be because I didn’t understand or thought it was irrelevant. What did I fail to address? Would y…

Yea, niceness != attractiveness.. because what men think being nice means being a doormat. Which is completely unattractive. A person with a good personality isn’t necessarily “nice”. Neither does having manners nor being a decent man make you “nice”. It just means you’re a well mannered decent man. Not a “nice” man, whatever that means.

Idk what country or culture you’re from but niceness, manners and decency are completely different things and are completely distinguishable from one another. A well mannered man with decency understands social cues and how to interact with people on an appropriate level and in a way that isn’t burdensome. Knows what to say and do and knows where to draw the line and gives people space, isn’t thirsty. Whereas “nice guys” do the complete opposite. This niceness that you’re talking about is just m…

I think your understanding of a good personality and character is different from mine. Which was the whole point of this post that I commented on. I don’t want a simp or a “nice guy”. I said a well mannered man with decency, not simp, nor a “nice guy”. Niceness isn’t a personality trait. I’ve never even mentioned niceness as something that I think is important. Besides, you missed the whole point of my initial commentary, which was that what matters the most is how the man interacts with me.

The way a man interacts with me and the world is important to me. Actually, those statues were sculpted to exhibit perfection of the human body or for religious reasons. Not for sexuality. So if anything, you’re sexualizing and objectifying artistic creations. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=V6p-0Vw5uXo This is a joe rogan video about male feminists and red flags when someone blatantly says that they prefer being friends of the opposite gender. I think it’s safe to assume that men who say that they prefer female friends are male feminists. Male feminists are degenerates bc they’re simps. Constantly needing female validation. It’s that thought process of a desperate man who thinks, “maybe she’ll let me hit it if I just agree with her”. Something along th…

I believe that women constantly try to close this gap to push her man to be stronger and powerful etc. Unconsciously or consciously. To continually make him evolve and better himself, not because she doesn’t desire the polarity. The best analogy is if the man is earning 100,000 annually, and she only makes 50,000, she might try to earn 75,000 so her man can push himself to make 200,000. Not because she wants to be equal with him, but to push him. He has to maintain the gap. It’s a grandiose shit…

Exactly.. you knew this intuitively, always trust your gut reaction. Your body knows best. My rule of thumb is, if I need reassurance or an explanation about their strange behaviour from other people, or on the Internet, it’s probably a red flag. Best of luck op <3

Red flag. Just like when a woman says that she prefers male friends to female friends because “drama”, it’s really because she likes the attention she’s getting from the opposite sex, from what I assume is daddy issues. Same thing with men. Be honest with yourself, men avoid women who constantly feel the need to be surrounded by men, apply that principle for this case. Just don’t do it

? Is it just me but he did have an attitude when he first responded to her. I don’t blame her for saying that she didn’t like his attitude, as he was being overly callous over a question. Then when she lets him know that he didn’t have to speak to her like that, he spews anger over her response. His vulgarity was so unnecessary.

Possessiveness is extremely attractive to me. It is just a matter of how he does it. An ex of mine would “get jealous” when I was friendly or nice to another guy or would “jokingly” go through my phone or “get mad” whenever I would even look in a direction of a man. Most of these were jokes and I know some of it was half a joke and half the truth. It was attractive bc he expressed his jealousy in a funny manner where we could both get a laugh out of, while still letting me know what’s bothering …

It’s about balance. I don’t think anyone wants a partner (man or woman) who is emotionally volatile and cries easily or is emotionally walled off. I think anyone would prefer someone who is emotionally open (able to talk about their feelings and capable of soothing their partners) while being able to regulate their emotions (doesn’t whine, cry at every little thing). I think crying won’t seem as a weakness or something undesirable as long as it’s at an appropriate setting.

Dealing with the same sex is clearly easier than the opposite sex. We are clearly wired differently so a woman would understand a woman deeply as a man would understand man. But with enough understanding and patience, it’s a smooth and an interesting experience to deal with the opposite sex because they’re so different from us. If you like what’s easy and comfortable then go with that. Seems like you’re just bad with women.

That’s one way to put it, I mean you’re not wrong. Women will constantly push men to do better.. in a way it is purposeful yet can be burdensome. the man himself can decide for himself to decipher whether if that is either a blessing or a curse. If the man is about self improvement then I see no problems with this notion that women will always want more.

I want you reassure you and say that I think you have the capacity to discern between a... let’s say an “incel” and a man with patience. Those two are extremely different and I’m sure you can tell, you already have precise and just discernment, as you made a choice to keep your virginity, which in my opinion is a great vow to keep. Yes your mother is right, it will limit the amount of men who are interested, but what she’s not mentioning is the men that are being eliminated and no longer interested are the ones who want causal relationships/sex, ones who don’t value marriage and family, as well as ones who don’t see the value in delaying gratifications and saving yourself. I’m basically saying that it doesn’t matter if some men aren’t interested in you because those men are the type of men you probably don’t want anything …

In my past relationships, they been at least 9-7 years older than I was. The only downside was that I was too immature for them in particular and so they didn’t care as much about the things that I cared about. They would get annoyed when something so minuscule to them bothered me. As well as the vast Difference of where we were in life made it not so easy to relate. Good things were that they were older so they had really good and practical advice to offer. Another is that they are willing to i…

Hehehe I guess, I grew up in a pretty traditional culture where men and women were always in a separate environment so I never really learned how to! And it was deemed taboo for women to flirt in my culture as well, unlike the western norms. Someone teach me !

Sounds like you’re very obsessed with control. You just need to let things go. Lean into the flow and just allow the man to take care of you, that’s how it should be. Practice self awareness through meditation, journaling and catch yourself before you do it. Practice intuition. There are many books that will show you ways to tap into it. Intuition is a very feminine thing to master. Learn from the women around you instead of trying to compete with them. They are your sisters. You say you’ve been…

No? I would definitely date someone who has their own things going, it’s attractive. but if they don’t value me as their partner and prioritize me as a long term partner rightfully so, then no. there is just no point in that relationship, I think people deserve to be prioritized as a rightful partner in a relationship, like people aren’t just arm candy to hang around on your arms when you want to wear them

This happened to me but with my hair. I tried out a new style. I felt so good & confident in the morning. By noon I was feeling so self conscious that I decided to undo my hair. My hair gets tangled up in my hair tie. Instead of just letting it be & removing it safely at home, I ripped my own hair out to undo my hair out of desperation 👍🏼👍🏼

You can’t fix anyone but yourself. It’s not your job. You’ve already done your part, which is to point out where he came short. Do not do more than that. It’s unhealthy and codependent to try to fix someone. He needs to be willing to actually put in the effort to work through his fixations, you’re only going to break your back trying to fix him. Again, you can lead a horse to water but you CANNOT make it drink. You cannot help someone that does not even want to help themselves. And yes what he s…

Im sorry to be so blunt but you really can’t make someone respect you, they either see your worth or they don’t. He is trying but not hard enough clearly because according to you he is still on his bs. And I roughly quote G. Stanley hall, an American psychologist, “humans are creatures of habit”. Again I’m sorry to be blunt but he will do it again. Unless he sees a behavioural analyst and actively tries to fix his fixations I really don’t think it’s going to be fixed any time soon.

I would’ve dropped him after the first incident. It also seems like the second incident was no accident either. I can see how it can be a very inappropriate gesture to you and he doesn’t seem to respect that. And he is quite young... I don’t know when he will come of age to take relationships seriously but what you see is what you get. You got a boy who didn’t take you serious, was deliberately looking at sexual images of women other than you for arousal/sexual gratification. I don’t think it wi…

Well I can see how she took that as a major red flag. An adult who hasn’t been in a relationship until their 20’s are more likely to be emotionally stunted, low self esteem or poor social skills than someone who has been in one in their teens. I hope that answers your question. It’s because it was a clear red flag from her perspective.
