Yes, that’s why I made this post and why his body count shocked me and completely changed my view of him.

I’m saying that I see it as sacred. I wasn’t talking about him. There’s people who made mistakes in the past and change their minds and values. It happens all the time. I’m not saying he’s part of those people though.

I want to talk to him and try clear up some things about him that I’m not sure about. Even outside of romantic relationships, I don’t like to discard people or assume things without evidence. I don’t think I will be manipulated by him because I am already questioning a lot of things on my own and yes, I am suspicious of his intentions (which is why I made this post). I have consumed a lot of red pill content and he knows it. We often have conversations have topics in the red pill as he finds it …

People have marital sex issues whether they had sex before or not. I don’t see the correlation. I’ve been pressured by society many times to hookup or have sex with men and, again, I think it’s gross advice.

Yes, I’ve been told many times before to have sex with guys so that the sex that I have with them I can use it on my future husband and to have “sexual compatibility”. I think that’s disgusting advice and that won’t change.

I can’t finish reading your comment right now but trust me, I’m not asexual but I appreciate the armchair diagnosis.

He’s a very intelligent person. Don’t want to reveal too much details but his career requires a lot intelligence. I can have very in depth conversations about everything as well as talk about anything silly. I feel like I can talk to him about many things. He doesn’t make me feel inherently bad or useless for being a virgin which is what other guys have done before (since most want sex before marriage).

I don’t know why you came to the conclusion that I’m greedy. If I was greedy I wouldn’t even be having all these doubts. I don’t care about money.

Women were stoned to death for not being virgins, they were sent to convents for being seen as impure, or for even being suspected of being immoral but sure, the hookup culture of today is totally on the same level as in other eras…. People also didn’t have any form of birth control so they couldn’t have casual sex like today. Casual sex is a modern luxury.

We haven’t had sex and I’m not having sex until marriage. I have no idea if he used these tactics to appeal to women and get sex out of them. And I never said he wants to marry me. I said we are in the talking stage and that we’ve talked about these things.

The last part that you said about how he is knowingly devaluing women, that’s something I have talked to him about. I asked him if he thinks it’s better for women to wait until marriage why did he have sex with women out of marriage. Then I asked him what he would want his daughter to do. Of course, he would want his daughter to be a virgin. Then I asked him if it’s wrong for his daughter to have sex out of marriage why is it ok for other women that are not his daughter to do the same? He basica…

He did say that he would never force or coerce a woman into anything and that he makes sure that a woman wants to do something more with him. I think he’s just not used to the idea of being with a woman romantically and not doing anything sexual. I told him that just because he’s never done that it doesn’t mean it can’t work and he didn’t disagree.

“Then why didn't he remain a virgin? Come on, he's just saying dumb shit to sucker you into staying with him.” He said that it took him time to figure that out and come to that realization. “Not necessarily, but you certainly find rampant sexism in conservative men. If that's what you're limiting your dating pool to well, again, good luck. You're already seeing the type of guys this is getting you.” I know that there’s conservative men that have zero issue with waiting for sex until marriage for…

Well, the whole point of my post is that I believe people can change but I just feel so weird about a 200+ body count. You’re not necessarily the same person when you were 25 vs when you become 35. He says that he values virginity because it creates more loyal and long marriages, not because he likes the idea of “conquering” women. Yes, you’re probably one of those that thinks anything conservative is bad but I disagree. Many people simply have a very twisted view of what conservatism or Christi…

What he meant by that is that we live in a promiscuous society and that’s why men have to adapt to that. We don’t live anymore, by and large, in a society that expects people to wait until marriage for sex. Obviously I don’t agree with that. People are free to have hookups or to not have hookups. No one is forcing me to wait until marriage, it’s a choice I made for myself. And no one is forcing people to have hookups (generally speaking, of course).

To be fair, he has traveled a lot for work over the years so that why the “timing” may have never been right. Part of me, however, does think that if he found amazing women he would have made it work somehow so maybe he never attracted women as good as he says and that’s why he never committed. He’s very big on “you attract what you are”.

Yes, the hypocrisy bothers me too. I have expressed to him my concerns over this and that I find it wrong when men sleep around and then want a virgin. He basically responded by saying that men have to adapt to our current world and that he is a good person and doesn’t regret anything.

As I said, I’m a Christian so there’s some red pill ideas that align with Christianity (red pillers are full of hypocrisy though and only like the convenient parts of Christianity that only benefit men). If by that logic it means that I agree with parts of the red pill then I guess I do but when it comes to the ideology as a whole I think it’s not doing much good for society. It’s interesting that you ask me this because maybe that’s the issue. He and I share many values but his values come from…

I posted on this sub because he is sort of red pilled so of course he shares some views with the red pill and I wanted to see other peoples opinion about him since it’s relevant to this sub. Since he is red pilled, he probably thinks women don’t care about a man’s sexual past or that we actually respect a man more for having slept around more. But that’s the thing that places me at a moral conundrum. I believe that people can change and better. What if he’s not the same person that he was? He’s told me that he’s been with good women, so it’s not like he has a bitterness towards women or like he’s trying to make me feel special. I asked him if he has been with good women why is it that he never married one of them. He said that it’s because the timing was never right or that he just wasn’t ready for marriage. I don’t think that I have extremely high standards or that I want perfection. I actually think I’m pretty realistic. It’s just that someone with such a high body count, I see that as an addict. Most people today think that’s perfectly normal, especially for men but I feel like I would never measure up sexually and I would always be compared. The fear of getting cheated on is also higher. I understand that most people are not waiting until marriage but isn’t 200+ a little too much? It takes a lot…

Well, I’m a Christian and I want a traditional nuclear family. We share many conservative values. He does say that he believes cheating is wrong and wants to find a wife and be loyal to her. He has also shown interest in Christianity and has been going to church sometimes. It’s just the high body count that I feel very weirded out about. I read the article. They make arguments that I’ve heard before many times in which they state that women do more housework even when they earn more. What that article doesn’t take into account is the amount of hours that the woman works. A woman can earn more and work less time depending on her job. Therefore, even if a woman is earning more than the man, if the man works longer hours, it makes more sense for her to do more housework. Salary doesn’t determine work hours or even job difficulty. I don’t even know why this is seen as slut shaming when this applies to both men and women. It almost comes across as very creepy “how dare you not want to have sex with me because you fear stds?” People are really out here pretending that condoms protect you against everything. You can get oral gonorrhea, oral herpes, etc. Condoms obviously do not protect you against that. And how many people that do casual sex are going to ask every single sexual partner to get an std test? The whole point of …

I have seen way too many people who are damaged by promiscuity. There is evidence that promiscuity is linked to depression and other mental disorders that are linked with high risk behavior. Sleeping with random people is dangerous for all sorts of reasons. Are there ways to try to minimize those risks? Of course. But they are not foolproof. I see promiscuity as something that has more negatives than positives. I see people regretting their promiscuity a lot of more and saying that they were bro…

If you feel attacked I’m sorry about that. I’m just having a conversation, if you see that as an attack we can stop at any moment. You are the one saying that people shouldn’t demonize promiscuity. We can’t control how others perceive the world and what they value in a partner. I am saving myself for marriage and I’ve been shamed for it plenty of times. It’s weird that so many people are bent on trying to control how others think. People are allowed to think I’m a frigid prude even if I don’t agree with it. The same goes with what we are talking about; anyone is allowed to see promiscuous people and sluts, manwhores, f*ckboys, etc. Not everyone has to think the same. Also, the concept of “…

According to you, I am allowed to have the preference of being with someone who is sexually conservative. However, I shouldn’t see promiscuity as bad or demonize it. Seems like that’s wanting to control my thoughts and how I view things, which then influences my preferences. I have the right to see promiscuity as bad just as others have the right to see sexual conservatism as bad even if I don’t agree with it. The notion that I should believe that promiscuity can be good for at least some people…

My preference of dating someone that is more sexually conservative is based on my view that promiscuity is bad. If I thought promiscuity was good or that it didn’t matter then my preferences would match that. You can’t control peoples thoughts and why the value one thing over they other. I feel negatively towards promiscuity and will continue to do so. There’s many people who think sexual conservatism is bad and they demonize it all the time.

I just wouldn’t date a promiscuous man. Telling people to stop having the preferences that they have is just as toxic as the red pill saying that all women like promiscuous men. What’s wrong with wanting someone who shares my values? It just seems today like everyone is trying to shame people that wouldn’t date them for whatever reason. True. Hookup culture leads people towards seeing each other as objects to be used without any emotion, it kills any semblance of intimacy and love. Hookup culture is the ultimate form of objectification of both men and women. It just leads everyone to misery, sooner or later. The fun and the pleasure doesn’t last, it’s like a drug. The inability for people to have self control has been equated to freedom when in reality it’s just slavery of the mind. In order to oppose the sexual oppression of t…

I agree. It just seems to me like it’s still not politically correct to even suggest that hookup culture is toxic for many people. You’re supposed to say that it’s all fine as long as there’s consent and you can’t say ever that it’s bad . I do see the wave turning though and I’ve been seeing a lot of men and women speaking out against hookup culture and what it’s done to relationships and marriage. This is why I don’t understand why there’s all this shaming language when people don’t want to be with someone that has been promiscuous. Sorry not sorry that some of us don’t want stds. The risk is too high. I think men have the right to not want promiscuous women just as much as women have the right to not want promiscuous men. It’s not politically correct but it is what it is.

I agree with you. I’ll copy and paste a comment that I replied to someone else since it applies to what you’re saying: I think a lot of women try to “tame” the bad boy. It’s a common trope that I see very often: women find a promiscuous man to be very attractive, they try to date him but they find out that while he is sexually attractive, he has other qualities that are very unattractive. It’s also why women’s standards tend to improve as they get older due to the bad experiences that they’ve ha…

Majority of people on tinder are there just for hookups. Men accept that. For some reason though, women are on a hookup app but want to pretend that they’re not there to hookup. If they want to just hookup, they should just be honest. Plenty of men that just want to hookup up would actually find that refreshing. I think a lot of women try to “tame” the bad boy. This is why we need to differentiate between someone that is relationship material vs someone that is used just for sex. It seems to me that promiscuous people are attractive for flings but they’re often not attractive for serious relationships. The red pill advocates for men to separate women between women that are just to be used for sex and women that are for serious relationships or marriage. What they fail to see is that this also applies to men. Men are also used by women for sex and are p…

I would say that if anything, both men and women are looked at with disdain if they are not having sex. There is a big pressure on both men and women to lose their “v card” as soon as possible. I don’t see here in the west a push for people to not have sex. It’s the complete opposite. For me, promiscuity in a man is a characteristic that I look down on when it comes to potentially dating him or even marrying him. As a human being, he might be great with his friends, work, family, etc, but as far…

True. I think a big factor that is not talked about enough is that both genders are attracted to someone that is desired by others but that at the same time is highly selective of who they choose to have sex with or have a serious relationship with. If you were to ask both men and women “which would you prefer to be with: a man/woman that is highly desired but also highly promiscuous, or a man/woman that is highly desired but is extremely selective?” I would say that the answer that most people …

I think they are actually divided on that issue. I’ve heard some say that women like men with a high body count because they like a man with sexual experience (which is true in some cases but of course, not all women). I’ve heard some women say that they like a man who has experience and knows what he’s doing. It seems like you have very different values from your girlfriend, which is ok. Despite moral relativists who will ironically tell you that you’re wrong for having those values, you have the right to believe in what you believe. If you feel this way towards women who have the values that your girlfriend has, it makes no sense to be with her. Find someone with similar values. You are not compatible with her and that’s ok. No, an appeal to authority can also be when someone says “x is false because some experts out there must surely say so”. It’s an even worse version of an appeal to authority because it doesn’t even have a specific “expert” that is being referred that can debunk what I’m saying. It just says “some experts out there say that you’re wrong, can’t tell you which ones, can’t tell you how you’re wrong, but there’s experts who simply know! Just trust me!”

Under the law, we are almost equal except when it comes to divorce courts that, as I keep repeating, favor women. Quotas for women in workplaces also goes against equality because it directly discriminates against men, and even women, on the basis of genitals. Talented women are not getting the jobs and praise that they should get because talent is not a requirement in many workplaces for women, only genitals. It denies women the ability to show that they are where they are because of their tale…

Emotional and shaming language does not make for a good argument. You can’t accept that men and women are biologically different and that we are not equal under the law nor societally. Saying “that’s not how it is” or “I pity you” is not an argument. I told you of laws that women benefit from and you ignored that. There’s no rebuttal for that, huh?

Equity is not equality, it’s creating special rules. This is why equality is impossible. Special rules and privileges have to be created for those who are deemed at a disadvantage. Equality of opportunity is how we can have true equality, which we don’t have. What people like you suggest is equality of outcome, which requires the creation of special privileges and special rules which render the concept of equality useless. I didn’t address that because it has nothing do with gender. It’s irrelevant. All races are equal. Gender is not equal because those have biological differences that directly influence behavior. Your race does not influence your behavior, there’s no proof of that and they have tried. Once again, putting words in my mouth. I’ve been more than clear in that these are generalities. Of course everyone has differences, we are not robots. I’m not offended at someone that uses logical fallacies to prove a point because they don’t have actual rebuttals to the points being presented. When someone tells you “this is x because a stat proves it” and you respond to that with “are you trained in understanding statistics?” that’s not an argument. You’re not telling me why my points are wrong, only that you just know better and that’s it and that I just have to accept that. If I’m wrong I want to know why.

I was clear in saying “on average”. Never did I once said the words “all women”. Meanwhile, you did actually speak for all men.

An appeal to authority. Brilliant. I don’t have to have a phd to understand and witness differences between men and women.

We can apply this clear difference in biology to many things: sports, army, constant hormonal changes due to menstruation and pregnancy, hormonal mood swings, higher depression and mental illness rates among promiscuous women than in promiscuous men, lower stress endurance levels than men. I can go on. This all affects our moods, desires, and behavior and makes us different from men. Incredible that this has become so controversial and offensive among a certain portion of the population. Why is …

-Statistics show that majority of women marry a man that earns more than her. Exceptions do not erase that majority. -Women are on more anti depressants today than when we were “oppressed”. Women also report being unhappier than in the past. Women have lower stress endurance levels. It’s in our biology to not be able, on average, to function in the same way that men do. -I see plenty of people encouraging single motherhood and getting upset at the reality that single motherhood is destructive. Y…

I never spoke in absolutes, only generalities. I would like to know in your ceo and bdsm example if you’re talking about a man or a woman. I was speaking of how many women want a leader. It’s not politically correct to say it but it’s an uncomfortable truth that many women won’t admit despite mainly dating and marrying a man who is superior in many aspects: earns more, taller than her, more dominant that her, etc. Statistics prove that women, on average, marry a man that earns more. Exceptions a…

Clearly we are not equal when institutions have different rules and requirements of women as I described with the police example. Sports also have different requirements for men and women. Women fought to have their own category in sports because they simply couldn’t compete with men as men have a natural advantage that just makes such thing very unfair. And we aren’t even that equal under the law. As a woman, I don’t have to be drafted if there is war. If I divorce a man and have his children, …

Yes, that’s a common mistake that people make when they hear that men and women are not equal. It’s why I clarified and said that we are different but we have equal worth and we are necessary for a good society.

Men are still stronger. Just because there’s men who abuse that doesn’t mean that men are still, on average, physically stronger than women. We are not equal because we can’t do the same things. Female police officers have lower standards to fulfill than male police officers when it comes to physical tests. This is because when men and women had the same standards, most women could not pass the test so they had to lower the standards to accommodate to female needs. If such example is not a clear…

I am not really concerned with people feeling offended. As a Christian, I am prepared for that as there’s certain people who already have a deep disdain towards Christianity. The amount of insults that I’ve gotten in my life just by saying I’m a Christian would shock you. It doesn’t change my views of offend me though. I said “women on average” for a reason. I never said all women. If your girlfriend earns more then you and she enjoys that and you have a happy relationship, I don’t see anything …

I disagree with you thinking that you can speak for all men. The red pill tends to speaks for all men and that’s wrong. You doing the same is also wrong. People have different values and different things that they hold as precious in a relationship of marriage.

This is why I addressed the hypocrisy of the red pill. Many of them claim to want a virgin but do they actually want that? I believe that there’s Christian and conservative men who share my values and who do want a virgin. However, to say no men want that or that all men want one thing is just as unrealistic as what the red pill speaks of. Some men want a woman with as much sexual experience as them, some men don’t want that.

Biologically we are different. That’s just reality. I know that liberal culture finds that offensive but it’s gotten to a point in which we need to deny biology to be politically correct. Women do not have the same physical strength as men, for instance. Not being the same does not mean that we are inferior, that’s a wrong mindset from liberalism. We are different but our abilities have equal value that are necessary for a good society.

Hypocrites have existed since the dawn of time. Furthermore, hypocrites who misuse and corrupt good things to take advantage of others have always existed as well. Heck, the Bible itself speaks many times of hypocrites and false teachers. I believe there are good Christian men and good Christian women who love and submit to one another. But that’s the thing. The Bible says that men and women submit to one another, we simply have different roles to fulfill that are equally precious and worthy. Wh…

The red pill has a lot of conservative talking points, it’s common knowledge to anyone who is even mildly familiar with the red pill. However, as i said before, they’re also massive hypocrites. I guess you can say that the truth is that truly traditional marriages are the ones that have a higher chance of success. Red pillers like the concept of conservatism but they don’t practice it. If you want more red pill truths that I genuinely believe are true, here’s some more: Women do not date or marr…

I never said only philosophical and introspective people turn to Christianity. Again, I don’t see what point you’re trying to make. Even if most people turn to religion because they were raised in it… so? I’m just failing to see the point here.

Many people grow up in religious households and yet they turn out to be atheists. I’m not sure what is the relevancy of your comment. I also now people who were raised as atheists but turned to Christianity as adults all on their own. You can be shoved with a certain kind of ideology since you are a kid and yet you can be able to choose whether you accept or reject that ideology.

I understand that. I don’t believe that I know absolutely everything. That is impossible. I only know that what I know is right as I haven’t seen anything that proves that what I believe in is wrong. Just because you have rigid morals does not mean that you are wrong. Righteousness does not depend on the flexibility of values. If you are always doubting your morals, that’s up to you but not everyone has to be like that.

Unless you’re a moral relativist, everyone believes that their beliefs are the correct ones. Why would you believe in something that you don’t think is the truth? The concept of believing in anything relies on the basis of you believing that you are right. Who walks around thinking all the time that everything they believe in is wrong? You believe that you are right, don’t you?
