Is a man Has an Internet connection 😂😂😂 Jokes aside, an early red flag is the casual dropping p*rnified terms into conversation. Literally 2nd date this guy mentioned queening, completely out of the blue. They'll drop this stuff in conversation, then look to see if you react to see if you're a kinkmeisha. Best thing to do is not react to it, then block and delete.

This guy doesn't understand the concept of dehumanisation. Creeps, rapists, pedophiles and abusers are humans. Disgusting humans, but humans nonetheless. Dehumanising is when someone's humanity is disregarded, eg through objectification. For example, calling women objectifying names or the widespread practice of buying women (through sex work). Or entitlement to a woman's body - when thinking about the body, regarding it in terms of "having" or that sex is "doing to" (where it should be "doing w…

There is also burqa p*rn. Which is just so deeply wrong, I don't know how anyone could watch that - let alone get off on such a violation.

Just curious, what are the questions? Edit: I'd hold off on answering for now, but that's just me. he could be doing this anonymously through a survey (without your post history and username). Wouldn't be hard to post an anonymous survey to r/askFDS

I haven't tried this personally, but I've heard good things about Natural Cycles. It tracks your temperature so you know when you're fertile. On days you're fertile, don't have PIV. So if you combine this and condoms, you should be fine :) A big positive is that instead of fighting against your body's natural rhythm, you're observing it and making decisions for yourself. It will have no impact on your body, but it will improve the amount you know about your body.

Yes, it makes them feel powerful. Scaring and traumatising women makes them feel powerful and aroused. Young girls are easier to manipulate, dominate and overpower. Just read some porn titles, it's truly sick.

So funny 😂 I also love the fact that one of their main grievances is that FDS bans men, but now they're swarmed with scrotes they're like "hmmm... Maybe we should ban some of these guys..."

3 days ago, they posted a "similar subreddits" post - basically looking at which subreddits users have in common. Guess what the number 1 sub is? It's r/bdsmcommunity. Number 2? r/purplepilldebate. The 3rd and 4th are r/baking and r/mgtow Guess what subreddit is not on the list? FDS they tell on themselves

100% Shes missing it with the "modesty" - the point is not to live in the modest/slutty dichotomy. The point is to live outside of the male gaze. Can you imagine actually being able to wear a t-shirt, and it not having implications for how sexually available you are? Just to be. The dream.

This is so true. If its never going to happen, there is no need to mention it. No one says "the sun will never fall from the sky" because duh, of course not, there is no need to mention it. Notice how often men say "I don't want to hurt you / I would never hurt you" after they have in fact hurt you.

It's not about correlation. Just like being more leftist/liberal doesn't necessarily correlate to having a fit lifestyle (ie if you plotted a graph with political affiliation and weight I don't think there would be a correlation). It's about the % overlap, it's about volumes. What I'm trying to say in my last comment, is that you're essentially narrowing down your target - which is a good thing, because you can figure out who these people are and where to find them. But try not to dwell too much…

U/kalrhista raises some excellent points here. The number is likely much higher than that, because the things you're looking at aren't mutually exclusive. To figure this out, you'd need to know the overlap between the categories. Example: - 8% are atheist - 50% are liberal - we can't assume 50% of atheists are Liberal, just like we can't assume 4% of liberals are atheist - we need to find the % overlap. I'd expect atheists to be more likely to be Liberal. You might be able to find some stats on …

That's OK, glad your personal boundaries work for you. I've spoken with my close friends and they understand the reasons I take a long time to reply. We usually call instead. I'm really greatful for these close understanding friendships. It's good that you're cultivating your own friendships that work for you.

Yep, I feel this. Neurodiverse people communicate different ways. I have OCD, and a lot of anxiety comes with that - so I'll spend hours/days obsessing over a reply, and getting into an obsessive spiral. It takes a lot to break through that and to type out the words and press send. I am in therapy, and am working hard on it - but the best technique I've found is distancing myself from the thoughts. I usually schedule phone calls with my friends instead, and like you say - if it's urgent, a call …

My personal time policy is no later than 10pm, this is when I start getting ready for bed. I strongly dislike early morning texts - before 7:30am. I will also not be replying during my work hours, during weekdays. I will take a long time to respond to texts, as in a few days. Fully aware that for some people, this is a red flag. I like to have 1 conversation spanning a week, maybe 1 text a day. Thats just my personal preference. I find it helps me stay detached - if I'm not careful, I can trick …

Completely agree with all these. The only exception might be if you're both really big fans of a film - for example you're both huge Star Wars fans, and he takes you to see the new installment because he knows you both like it. Crucially this must be accompanied by lunch/dinner. This way, you can actually talk about the film. This only works if you're both big fans. The reason this works is because it's an event to you if you're in this fandom - not some random film. But be wary about doing this…

Can we also just acknowledge that she is not ready for a relationship? If she can't stick up for herself (in any situation apparently) surely she should put energy into resolving that issue before putting it into a relationship...

He said he's anti-porn, which i know he could've lied about, but he hasn't given me any reason to doubt him. This is reason to doubt him. You don't get to the point of asking your girlfriend to call you "master" by not watching porn. Red flags abound.

You are an intelligent, ambitious woman with the whole world ahead of you. Please leave this man who is only holding you back. Think of all the energy you're using ruminating on this. Think what you could use that energy for (planning a trip, spending time with friends and family, working on your own goals).

Completely agree. In the pit of Pikmeisha-land, anything is possible. Is it good? Smart? Safe? No! Is greasy coersive car-rape happening? You bet! Be safe, don't get in a car with anyone you don't know. Don't get in a car with a man. Don't meet a man at hooters - in fact, don't date men who go to hooters at all.

Fab, thanks - so you can basically use talc on hair between washes. Makes sense as that's probably all dry shampoo is!

In the UK you can apply for information from the police under Claire's Law. They will tell you a man's prior convictions if they think its relevant. Take it with a pinch of salt. When I applied for info on my abusive ex they said "nothing to report" when he actually had a firearms offence. I only found out when a police officer accidentally told me - purely by chance.

Great comment. In my kinkmeisha days, I found these kinds of studies comforting - it would make me feel not alone, like there wasn't anything wrong with me and I could just pretend the pain didn't exist. But just because a lot of people (supposedly) do something doesn't mean it's OK - or even good! For example, if a study finds 80% of people have tried smoking cigarettes, does that mean we should encourage people to start smoking? Normalise it? Say its healthy, and support Big Tobacco? No. Becau…

This is excellent advice. I've been thinking this for a while now - it's a good way of "catching" yourself if you tend to be co-dependant (like me). Understanding its not best for either of you 👌 Unfortunately, my mum is a therapist - but doesn't seem to be able to put a boundary between personal/professional relationships. So if she loves you and sees you struggling, she wants to help (and she's qualified to) but thats not always best for her. Therapist sisters, remember you need to recharge to…
