We read, and we understood. Pretending like no one "understands" your point simply because we don't agree with it, and someone "doesn't fully grasp" the consequences of their own decisions but you do is,to keep this civil, condescending... at the very least. Besides, you're still sticking with the idea that more money= success. As long as you live within your means, you're happy with your quality of life and feel like you have a future/purpose, life is good.

This guy came looking for advice with girls, which usually culminates in being more confident, and left with some jackass telling him his interests and career path are stupid ideas, undermining his confidence (not that he actually has to take it that way). If what you want is money, you can get money--lots of it-- with basically any degree, or none at all. While its fine that you have accepted and adopted this doctrine that life is go to school>STEM/law/medicine/business degree> and get a job, y…

What every psych major becomes: service industry /s Jokes aside, I'm a sushi chef. Thankfully I dropped out of psych before I really starting accruing student loans at better university. Financially I'm in a really good spot: no debt, lots of savings and, to ProductivityMonsters dismay, I actually make the same amount of money as my best friend who works as an engineer with a degree and everything. Granted my schedule isn't as cushy as a 9-5 and the restaurant industry isn't known for outstandin…

I say this as someone that was in a psych program and dropped it because I found something I'm even more passionate about: that guy can go fuck himself. It's not all about money, and yes, having free time is valuable. Doing something you love is valuable. If you don't give a fuck about engineering, accounting etc and you grind out a (subjectively) boring 9-5 + overtime, your misery will show even harder. I have plenty of friends that continued with the program and in the 3-4 years after undergra…

Go under water and try to hold your breath for as long as you can. 30-40 seconds? Around that point it starts getting uncomfortable. Now go up and take a breath. If you go back in too soon after, you won’t even make it to 30 seconds. Take a break, then go back in. Again, 30-40 seconds in, it should start getting uncomfortable. But you wanna hold your breath longer right? So you brave it out a little. It’s been a minute. You go back up, you take a break and then you go back in. You know you did a…

"You're with some guy in his 30s who has nothing going for him? That's creepy." If that's really what you think of yourself, don't go approaching. Work on yourself, your inner game, and build confidence and value in your life. Once you have that sorted out, which it will take time, start doing what these guys said. Go to events, venues, meet ups, classes and groups where you're among the people you'd like to socialize with. Make friends, get used to conventional, no pressure socializing. Then, o…

I consider interview questions anything that gives me general info about her such as where she's from, age, work/school/interests. The other things I say are what I perceive about her, known in PUA lingo as a cold read, so I'll take a look at her clothes and accessories or her expressions and make assumptions about her based on them. I don't necessarily say, for example, "your bracelet makes me think you're a spiritual person," I'll look into her eyes and cold read her. You can make these questi…

You can ask questions, you just don't want go back to back with interview questions. You can ask a question, listen to her answer, make a comment and/or answer your own question. You can mention something else in you comment or answer that leads the conversation to something you have a firm grasp of. Interview questions I use for the first few minutes of an interaction and then use them as plan B when I'm running out of shit to say.

I identify with you man. I'm a little more lackadaisical and childish, but I like steering conversations in the deeper, more meaningful direction you probably do too. However, whether or not your personality works is the wrong question to be asking; it will work, there should be no doubt about it. The question should be what can you do to make it work. Part of that is accepting it wont be everyone's cup of tea right off the bat, or at all. That's good because you'll filter out a lot of girls you…

I suggest meeting a couple and finding out for yourself. Every woman is an individual and you just need to provide the context in which she feels comfortable and motivated to share.

They've been called lairs for years. It's nothing more than a group of guys going gaming together.

Whoever has approached you so far must've not been very good. I've heard that being gamed well is nothing but enjoyable from the girls the guys our lair have picked up.

Is that all you want from her? You only want to take her out? Don't you want to know more about her? What if a somewhat stranger walked up to you and asked you to hang out immediately? Wouldn't you be taken aback? Talk to her first, show her you're cool, rather than tell her you're cool. Make yourself laugh, make sure you feel calm. If you do this, she'll have fun and be comfortable. Don't focus on what you say, rather how you say it. You can talk about anything as long as you're interested and …

You're thinking about it too much. Do you want to talk to her? Then do it, start talking to her, however you want. You don't need a smooth opener, just the ability to set the rhythm of the convo and calibrate when necessary.

RSD Madison has an approach to this situation that I really like: propose a second date, tell her something playfully like "but this time drinks are on you" or to come up with a place herself. Emphasis on playfully. He's also very adamant about calling the girl before the date to make sure she's still up for it. It's not meant to be needy, it's meant to show you have boundaries. He says something along the lines of, "Listen, I have this little thing where I call my date beforehand to make sure w…

I like the idea but filming pick up is pretty hard especially considering you need good audio and (usually) a second person to film you which many others don't have.

I'm sad to see this isn't top comment. This thread is a little red pill-ish. If OP is interested enough, he should go out with her, give her a genuine try in order to gauge whether she is a shallow bitch or not, then decide if he wants to continue. She'll learn the lesson by missing out on what hopefully is a great guy. That's some high value shit.

Are you being a good listener? Are you showing genuine interest in them and encouraging them to share more? People's favorite thing to talk about is themselves, and people like people who like them. You can make more friends in two months by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get other people to be interested in you. I must admit I'm on a bit of a high from reading this book, but How to Win Friends and Influence People is a great read. It's not pick up spe…

People have called me by my surname my entire life. My family does it, my friends do it, and for fucks sake, when I moved here, a different country, where I knew absolutely nobody, people still ended up calling me by last name. So I can relate. The verdict is that it doesn't really matter. Even my last girlfriend called me by my last name and it sure as hell didn't mean she was any less attracted to me. What matters is how these girls treat you. Unless they call you by last name in a way that is…

Maybe the rating system should stop being considered a measure of physical attractiveness but as a measure of perceived difficulty to get (the girl). In other words, the split second you first get a good look at her, how invested in succeeding with her are you?

Seems like one hell of a fun night if you ask me! You seem to know where you went wrong and I can't pick at anything else myself, so all I can offer is a bit of advice on not escalating, in the form of rhetorical questions: Would their nights have gone better if you had kept going? Do you want to do it? If the answers to these questions are yes (they probably are) then take a page from Nike and "just do it." If the answer was no, then there's the possibility you need to work on you confidence-th…

Listen. All your opener is really meant to do is basically say, "Hey, I'm going to talk to you now" while setting a frame for the encounter. What sets the frame is how you say it, not what you say (for the most part). You can have a shit opener and still get the girl. Figure out what kind of frame you're setting (high/low energy, friendly/sexual/romantic, direct/indirect) and say whatever you want to say the way you intend to portray yourself. This carries throughout your conversation. Don't ove…

Not experienced by any means, but definitely willing to learn. I've gotten past the AA stage so progress can definitely be made. Hopefully someone else jumps on the Broward pick up bus.

Well, modify what you learn here to probe for girls you're actually interested in. Most of what is in this sub is mainly to achieve one thing, and it's 'get the girl.' what you want to do once you get her is a different story. Mix in more of you want to talk about, probe for qualities you actually like about her and if you feel she doesn't "click" with you, then jump ship (unless you also want to fuck her). Use this knowledge to get what you want.

Fun fact, the tigher/looser she clasps her hand back is directly correlated to how interested she is in you. That's pretty cool, do you have a source?

That have women. If your favorite place to chill is a men's sauna going there to practice pick up is a bad idea... Unless you're into guys of course.

Correct me if I'm saying something horribly stupid, but I would talk to them (at some point mention your dislike for smoking) and then ask, "So, do you have any friends as cute as you that don't smoke?" This served the mandatory and usual side of confidence, eye contact and friendliness sounds like a good idea in my head. Any thoughts? If I see the chance to, I'll try it myself and report back.

I like this answer. They could be your ticket to more cute girls, whether it's because of their friends or your own pull seeing that you're friends with attractive people.

Since I can't edit posts from my phone, I'll clarify that these will all be day game, since that's pretty much all I can do. Anyway, set number 1: In my math class, I decide to talk to an HB7 that I never really spoke to. I sat down, noticed she was eating watermelon and I asked her if she packed that herself: yes. I comment and say I think that's cool, too many people let their moms pack their lunchables at 17, ridiculous I say. She laughs and agrees, I'm trying to maintain eye contact while sm…
