Every man I've let touch me I've regretted. Sad that you've had enough already but hopeful for your future.

Hi! Injust learned about schemas and they are POWERFUL. If your therapist is all not skilled enough to see this, dump them.

Yeah I was groomed by a youth worker/narc who often had this rule where you literally could not speak until he was done talking - interrupting him was seen as a cardinal sin. Fucked me up for years and even now sometimes when i make a sound/say something while someone is talking I start waiting for thr hammer to drop.

Yes, a man murdered a cop here in my home town and almost got away with it using that excuse.

Yes, I say this is the only game I have with guys. If I can't make eye contact, I can't pull this off. It's insane, even if you do this by accident it usually works. I don't even add the smile - I look, submissive eye contact down or away, and look back. It works on a subconscious level.

Yeah, I think there's an article that was posted here about bronys and essentially men struggle with feeling towards woman seperating emotional love for wanting to "fuck it". Very stranfe. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I had an ex who when I was in school trying to build a career we could both benefit from (he was going to be a "house husband") I needed him to film my assignments for class. Footage was rarely in focus, he never told me if I had my ass out or if there was things that were in the background that shouldn't have been there and he would actively try to do shit to make me angry and make me make mistakes. Why do I have to be sexually attracted to men? I'm sorry your ex was a douchecanoe.

I've lived this. The worst part is they usually don't confront you head on. I'd respect a man, at least mildly, who said "I fucking hate your confidence. I'm going to take you down." Instead they befriend you and tare you down from the inside. Vet and never trust.

I've got alot of issues relationally and due to abuse can't tolerate alot of touch with people, even if J know them well. Its hilarious to watch guys try this with me since I'm so hyper vigilant about my personal space.

I was concerned too, but I think it's just the tense you wrote in, versus past tense. (its a mixture of both which people do commonly in verbal communication)

I. HATE with the intensity of a thousand suns that man "your just a stupid woman" smirk that men get and then say something along the lines to convey "you're just too stupid to get it, slot for a penis." It's amazing how much this subreddit has opened my eyes to how men are. I used to say that most of my friends were men. Now i realize I can never be their friend and I never was. The system is designed to be against me and other woman, and men benefit from it if not actively push it.

I'm generally lucky I get clocked as a raging lesbian by the guys at the gym. I would whole heartedly recommend taking a martial art, bbj makes people into badasses. But also, I started talking to a guy at the gym because he was using the equipment and my gym buddy and I were curious to know if he was juicing... He's like 21 and I'm 30 and he started flirting with me! like wtf. I have noticed that none of the woman talk to the guys at my gym, so it's a circle of dudebros desperate for a sprinkle…

If woman had a male's sexuality, less men would be fucked because we wouldn't want to waste our time with guys that don't think we deserve to orgasm.

Some people don't know how to learn from stories. It's also cultural and how you're wired. I'd also say that you're just saying you can't understand without stating why you can't. How is that helpful? You're not building me to be better at this and considering how many woman have commented about this being interesting and helpful, you're actually just complaining without assisting in making this material more accessible.

I used to love the anime Great Teacher Onizuka. But it's entirely about a virgin man (who happened to be am exbiker gang leader because of course he just has to be sooooooooo cool)who wants to be a teacher so he can get laid. Ends up in middle school and not high school. Still pervs on students.

I'm sorry that happened to you. I was groomed too in a different way and I managed to avoid overly sexual stuff from happening and fled when it headed that direction in adulthood. It's so hard to explain to people what that kind of dynamic does to you. There needs to be more information out there not only for potential victims but for people on the outside to looking in.

We had a male gym teacher who would often try to get into the girls change room in Jr High. They other one had an affair with the teacher that was obvious and they both denied for years. One of my drama teachers got fired for being inappropriate to a girl that stayed behind after classes via email. I remember he often treated me poorly and NEVER complimented any of my performances... Until we did our big play at a local festival. We were leaving the briefing room afterwards and he was leaning ag…

I LOVED video games growing up. I learned to read because of them. But I realized for a number of reasons people can gravitate to them because they don't have the initiative to work on themselves and reap the rewards. I would rather hit a punching bag. I would rather study my craft. I would rather deadlift 180. (Not much but working my way back up!) If you learn to Lucid Dream its way better than any video game!

Preach! Deep within our minds is the lie of the Fairytale ending. We've been taught since before we knew orange juice is orange to think a man will make our lives more stable and better. NVM/LVM will seek out your cracks and like a sneaky liquid try to fill the gaps... so they can manipulate you and abuse you. Self discovery, self healing, self love. They come before a man because without you won't find the man that will help you on your journey.

They live a hard life and they live knowing they could die any moment. My main driver of the car I called THAI LAND ELEPHANT FIGHTER MAN because he wore a Thailand elephant shirt constantly, looked like a toad, had a scar on his face and often got into arguments with waitresses. He was fairly chubby. It was mostly a joke until I was watching him and our bookish chinese guide Andy. They're standing on the edge of a cliff 4000 feet above sea level. Andy's back is to the cliff, maybe a foot away. A…

One guy hit on me by making fun on an obese male pervert in my group. We were riding up the mountain and despite not speaking a word of english he implied he was too big for the horse. I mean fat bullying aside, I found the fact that he was able to convey that really funny.

I do have a disorangized way of thinking and think in stories. So the information is packed into the story and has layers. I can see how that can be difficult for some people to get the information out. But i honesty dont know how to tell the info without stories because how would you know how I learned this without my life experience? Thinking in stories is so much how I'm wired I struggle to put things into linar terms or as some people have told me "practical".

This is completely true! I'm from one of the rural black communities but the city folk and the people from the other rural community are different. I'm from the "soft" one with less crime and violence. People want to build up and feel safe there. The other one on the other side of my area? Lets just say they have their own gang and guys from there tend to be aggressive. I never thought about how religion would affect the relational nature of the men approaching me. I never understood what makes …

Yes. 100% my life is ridiculous. Attachment styles are totally a dynamic that overalls over this too. I knew these guys of various degrees but i would without a doubt say that the LVM guy in this story is anixously attached, the NVM is narcissistic and avoidant and the HVM was very securely attached, that family is one of my favourites and I wasn't close, I just knew how much they loved each other.

I LMFAOO'D. I can talk about my life now and in this way because I've put alot of thought into being neither black or white, but yet being both. It's paradoxical, so making sense of the weird ways people interact with me would be overwhelming. I left alot of awkward interactions out, and also because the party story takes up so much space didn't mention more stories. I am also new to these types of... 'articles' and am very grateful for people taking the time to read it!

Wow! You have a very elegant way of speaking. Beautiful. I truely believe that we need to claim our strength and society pushes woman away from growing physically strong. If I didn't grow strong I'd be dead, but I do lament the destruction of the small child who would become capable of provoked violence.

It helps me honestly. I don't treat people differently except guys I'm crushin on (get super anixous and run away usually) as I know what it's like to be treated badly for being unattractive. (being 290 was rough) but I may rate things a bit differently. I don't rate woman and my rating of men is super abstract since I'm attracted to various random types of dudes. That being said i can see why some woman may find it extremely offensive to be assigned a number of to hear of that kind of talk. But…

I don't understand why it has to be them versus the dog. The attention I give to a dog is way different than they attention I'd give to a romantic partner. I'm glad you were able to be with your dog in her old age.

Learning about their history, training and ability is incredible. They can be trained in so many ways to be assistance to your every day life. For example you don't need to train your dog for protection in the sense of biting people. You can train a command to repetitively bark at a targeted person. That's enough to most people back off if the dog weighs even more than 25lbs

I told this story to a woman who PM'D me, but years ago I was raising a puppy and my LVM ex picked a fight. We start arguing and the puppy gets scared and runs underneath the bed. I stop everything and try to coax the dog out from underneath the bed. As the puppy rests in my lap this peice of scrote starts crying and screams "How he feels is how I feel when you don't pay attention to me!" I've been thinking alot about the dogs who interrupt behavior of Nvm/lvm. Dogs tend to correct issues in soc…

This statement is agitating to me for alot of ways. Men are not children who have to 'try'. If you want to help you'll ask how to be helpful or you'll BE helpful. It's just a way of excusing male entitlement and audacity.

Yep! My dog was very forgiving of people but there was a line for sure. I was thinking about how so many dogs know what is right and wrong over the men who treats us like crap.

Interesting! I have had the exact opposite reaction. Unless its a HVM white guy, the white guys I met can't ever be direct. I wonder the other influences - is she intimidating? Is she really beautiful, like past a 6? (I'm a 5 aha)the culture that settled there? Oh yeah. I've literally had them go "is that a service dog? stroke" Some people know they can't be aggressive so they think they can do whatever they want. There was also the time a bus driver borderlined tried to assault me and almost caused my dog to be hurt, but that too is a story for a different time!

I saw the R&M cup and I knew! The fact that he didn't care about your minimalist nature is so true of LVM. They just look at a surface image and fill in the blanks with what they want.

If you look at early cartoons, most of the "female" characters were just the males as woman. They often want an addition to themselves, not a partner.

It's so insane! I'm lucky that I'm not more dependent on a service dog so I could deal with some of it, but I would be in constant fear if I was relying on one for blindness/condition alerts/deafness. The needing to move in when they sense weakness is the most disgusting part to me. They don't know how to be a partner and want to use your weaknesses against you.

My first partner was NV and he did this to me to rhe point I became very ill physically. They manipulate our compassion. "I don't know how!" They try and put us in our place when we confront them. "Why are you getting angry?" They ignore obvious signs that we need help and put the brunt of it on us. "Why didn't you ask?"
