So this whole sluggishness after porn thing has more to do with orgasm than porn. You know the tired old generalization about women wanting to talk after sex and men just wanting to sleep? Same thing. It's physiologic. That being said good on you. If one porn vid leads to jacking it 2 or 3 times daily then you probably have an addiction issue and porn probably isn't for you.

Bro, this is MTGOW, not TRP. Our raison de'etre is not, as you say, "sticking your dick in things." But I wish you the best of luck. I think you will need it.

There is a simple answer I am always surprised nobody thinks of it, but without just cause the government cannot and shouldn't be able to take DNA without consent. If a woman wants a man tested or vice versa and can make a compelling case then cause is satisfied and an order will be made. Now beyond the basic legalities and (imo) intrinsic human rights, I am so MTGOW I just don't have any sympathy for a man who plays the game of marriage/childhood/etc with women. And now you want to violate a pe…

Well, we're all replaceable. Not just in sexual relationships. Die? Someone will take your job. Lose your job? Someone will take your house. Move your house? Your friends will replace you and you them. We are all alone. Nothing will ever change that. It's okay.

This is why interpersonal relationships are what they are. They can be counted on, as you point out, so long as they are to the involved partys' benefit. But since circumstances are constantly changing over time, the individuals will to constantly re-evaluate their advantage in remaining in cooperation versus some other venture. Given enough time, all relationships would fail as sure as things cannot remain constant. There can be no doubt.

True, by the same token similar men should have, and I think were, selected for. It's really people. People are the problem. We are fine tuned eat, breed, and repeat machines. Why anyone would count on anyone else to uphold some sort of ethical standard that is unnecessary or actually a detriment to selection is insane. Wishful thinking is the only explanation I can think of.

To be fair Patrice never had to grow old. Not defending or justifying Bill's choices, but I don't doubt bill staring down 50 and his own mortality had some influence. I don't know why, but I see this all the time. It doesn't matter necessarily if the husband is really a bum or just an average dude. Women have a real mental block about being with a man who makes less, and I have seen many women in medicine either single in their late 30's/40's or dating/married another physician or equally successful partner. Not a lot of the other option. I feel bad for them because it's a hard game to play if you need your romantic partner to make more than you in order to b…

This is the only correct response. At best the buddy in the hat spends the rest of his life exhaustively but successfully fending off buff dudes from banging his gf/wife. The chances of that seem incredibly unlikely since he cannot possibly be there to physically walk her away from buff dudes every time she goes to the gym. More than likely, he is playing a game he will lose outright. But the lost effort (an entire lifetime's worth) spent on winning hardly seems worth it. The sooner he loses the…

Wait, you've got it backwards. The wolf is predatory and naturally should follow its prey in order to hunt and feed, and so it is the sheep that naturally lead and the wolf that follow. Therefore by telling the wolf not follow the sheep, Chopra is, in fact, answering the most profound existential question: whether or not to commit suicide (by abandoning the never ending hunt required to obtain sustenance,) with a resounding "YES!" I think...

I agree that the woman's actions were disgusting and that she was a disgusting woman, because of the thing she did while alive... Okay? If you will agree with me that AWALT (if not by actions then by natural urge), then you must also agree with me that even yourself would be like that, if even one of your chromosomes were different from birth. Now we have established something important, because if AWALT, and worthy of disgust, but nobody chooses to be a woman (unless you agree with transgender …

But there have been many ideas of God that have denied the concept of free will. But I'm more interested in your second point. Because I believe that it is exactly because the universe is so cruelly indifferent to reason that sympathy is important. We discuss this thought on a subreddit built around an idea that, on the face of it, is an independent realization & shouldn't require fellowship or interpersonal exchange. Yet here we are, because there is a certain amount of absurdity in the pointle…

Now this is an interesting subject. How should we feel about this? If we apply the general tenants of MTGOW, we must say that AWALT. Then, can we say that it would be good if all women rid the world of themselves through suicide? But I cannot take any sense of satisfaction from this woman's death. I think more significant, and I think most MTGOW's will agree, is that she is simply as god/universe made her. If I put my dinner in front of my cats, they will eat it. How can I get mad at them when t…

Maybe but after so long wouldn't the Bonobo society have selected for passivity and cooperation and against alpha that there would be few if any individuals capable of adapting to a Katrina environment at all?

I think you definitely have an important point to some extent, but there seem to be societies in which access and use of services like abortion and birth control have filtered down the socioeconomic ranks (like in Japan but also many other modernized countries) and have become so extensively used that they are shrinking. Remove immigration from the census rolls of countries and this applies to a huge number of developed countries. I do not know if it isn't a matter of time until the world popula…

I would also add that in many ways, the female physician was not really "PWNED" when she asked how she would know if potentially lower-earning might spouse loved her or her money. As a man pointed out in response, we simply often do our best to guess her intentions but often fall for a pretty face. I think higher earning women have some advantage in seeking similar men because, on both an instinctual level and a logical level, they most desire the same thing: a man with resources. For men with h…

Don't women have some difference in their relative number of cones that let's them perceive more colors? I thought I read something like that ages ago, but I'm not going to bother looking it up. If you can't look at a man and woman and note for yourself some major differences, I can't help you.

Yeah I would not date a female physician... and I'm a medical student. If I were gay, I wouldn't date a male physician either. We're all too damn busy. Why would I want to date someone who is too busy to date me when I am too busy to date as well?

Haha I read that recently. He kept buying them and she kept throwing them out. That is danger of being MGTOW. Without anyone to throw away my cargo shorts, I went years not knowing they were not in style.

Hahaha. I had no fucking idea about cargo shorts until a couple years ago when I heard some girl referred to me as "that guy who always wears the cargo shorts." My friend had to tell me. For years I really had no clue there was a "thing" about them. I can't lie. I don't wear them now because of shame for not knowing all that time. OP, you are truly the bigger man, good on you!

I don't know but imagine it must be that much more difficult to quit something with such a strong biological impetus like sex (or drugs, etc) when you have the access he does. Then again, you see some examples, like Ronaldo who makes seemingly great decisions. Maybe some learn quicker than others, and some never learn at all.

I think you have to look at the incredible impetus that sexual reproduction really is in humans. Some men will, and probably have for a while now, been more or less MGTOW. Some men have always been willing to play by whatever contemporary rules of the game have existed. Do you really think that now of all the tens of thousands of years of the modern human existing, is when men might just decide, "you know what, I'm just gonna go do my own thing this sex shit is not worth it anymore?" It will nev…

You hit the nail on the head here. She always was the kind of person who couldn't take responsibility to decide anything. Her previous relationship had ended, believe she told me, bc the boyfriend was being really possessive of her. Whatever that entailed. Of course, I believed her. I was young and I honestly bought every word of it. Now I'm more much more cautious when a woman tells a story like that. Live and learn.

This has been tried. Someone posted a link to it last week, Survivor season where men and women each had their own separate islands. The men silently went about, each specializing in craft or job without formally deciding upon this arrangement, and each pulled his own weight, probably out of fear of not being the guy who doesn't pull his own weight. One guy cut trees and made a hut, another made furniture, devised methods to capture food, etc. The women's island went to shit. They slept on the b…

That's terrifying. The power women have in western marriages, is terrifying. Your friend will never be free to decide and pursue a new career, retire early and reap the rewards of his hard work, or take a year off to travel the world. He has been reduced to a legally shackled slave, and his only hope is to find enjoyment in the absurdity of it all. Sometimes I get lonely, as a 20-something single man will do. But I know, there are worse things than being alone.

I have no experience in this. But from reading xposts here, it seems like it's not even women's fault. It's some biologic switch after a few years of marriage they just lose any sexual desire for their husband. I mean I read it almost every day not even exaggerating and at least half the time it is right about that 5 years of marriage. And then, of course, women in these marriages many times cheat, because all humans are sexual creatures. They can't help that any more than they can help how hype…

That's a nightmare. If I already wasn't allowed visitation and was funding my ex wifes retirement, I'd like to think think I'd quit my job as "the goose that lays golden eggs", leave all my money in a trust for my kid, and start over again in some foreign country. But then again, that's what a lot of people say. The reality is, I am sure, much more complicated..

"More and more men are learning that you need to be in the top 5-10% of looks / money to get any woman who is at least a 4/10 or so, and hence giving up. Women won't notice or care because they'll only go for the top 5-10% of what's left of men trying to get pussy." I think this is the most important thing you said. Agreed. Basic animal behavior. Female mammals invest more resources in reproduction, gonna require more incentive or mismatched high value mate to bite. Funny how it plays out in real life exactly the same way. I used to have a gf, really nice lady. Good person, really. She would bargain for sex, for example, by getting me to do the dishes when it was her turn. And I was happy to pay. I think, as long as the parties can consent to the arrangement (which requires understanding it) then it's great…

TBH, medicine is going to be a really difficult rode for you (assuming you're in the US) if that is your outlook. Medicine has for some time now become increasingly dominated by women. Vast majority of nurses, nearly a good half of medical students and residents, plus the other ancillary medical professionals you may find in a hospital are women. Imo, surgery might be a good option for you. Don't have to talk much with your patients and, most residency programs, are still predominantly male with…
