can you really not think of reasons why there may be biological imperitives and dispositions towards rape and murder? REALLY? What? Try reading my comment again. I clearly think that there are biological forces that contribute to rape and murder. My question is if biological forces are so important why are rape and murder almost non existent in developed societies (outside of certain communities)

Not always. Why do so many people choose not to have children? Why do people commit suicide? Why don't more guys go around raping females and killing other males?

The fact that we're able to communicate these ideas that are sent in digital form across hundreds or thousands of miles and translated into text on our computer screens that we can read and understand shows that we're not like any other animals. Sorry.

I don't expect a girl to even offer to pay on the first date. Then again I've always been the one to offer to take her out. The second date I expect her to offer to split it but I'll take the tab. The third date I expect her to at least pay half

Of course it's not unfounded. Stereotypes and generalizations can be useful in situations where you don't have time to get to know an individual. But when you do have time to get to know an individual then it's irrational to not try to get past the stereotypes.

I never said there weren't trends. Black people are much more prone to crime than white people but does that mean I'm gonna disown my daughter if she dates ANY black dude? Or refuse to hire ANY black person? Or put my house up for sale as soon as ANY black person moves into my neighborhood? No! People are individuals.

What is there to respond to? He thinks everyone's behavior can be 99.9% predicted based on evo psych. I don't. I doubt I'm gonna convince him and he ain't gonna convince me. End of story

Not white knighting, I just think it's very ignorant to imply that men are always the richer parties.

I'm not going to defend all the white knightery on that thread, but the comment is pretty offensive. Humans are more complex than gorillas or lions and there's no excuse to boil everything down to Evo Psych 101 and refuse to look at a situation through any other lens. The very reason evo psych has a bad name among leftists/feminists is because of the tendency of many of its proponents to treat people as unthinking biological robots fulfilling their predetermined genetic destiny instead of comple…

Well I'm not going to invest a significant amount of time trying to convince YOU that camgirls can be LTR material, given that you're not currently dating or talking to one. But the guy who submitted the post is in a relationship with one and he feels conflicted. My view is that her being a camgirl alone is not enough to disqualify her from an LTR. Whether he chooses to agree with my perspective in the long run is his choice. I just don't want him thinking that he's necessarily getting cheated o…

I'm spending time/money/effort on the relationship to keep her happy enough to give me sex/companionship in return. lol I love how you imply that it's a simple trade. "I, the man, spend time, money and effort on the relationship. In return, she, the woman, gives me sex and companionship." Here's a radical idea: in a relationship BOTH parties can spend time, money and effort and BOTH can receive sex and companionship in return.

People will project all kinds of McNasties onto us because they hate the idea of men figuring women out and improving themselves without the aid of women. Let them think whatever they want Radical, unthinking extremists are going to project falsehoods onto us no matter what. But for people on the fence, it makes a big difference how we come off. Persuasive arguments, sound logic combined with a civil and diplomatic tone will win many if not most people over to our side.

Feminist shaming? lolwut Not trying to "shame" anyone, just calling it like I see it. Plenty of girls like jealous, overprotective guys. Many other girls don't. But regardless. I don't think his comment was very helpful and I think the intent was to shame the guy into dumping the camgirl. in my mind I see it as her cheating on him with hundreds of guys every night for money. This is his perspective but that's it. HIS perspective. It's not like there aren't other valid perspectives. The guy datin…

The "intimacy" stuff is just feminist dust-in-the-air designed to obfuscate the issue. If it's just "feminist dust in the air" then why would it bother you if your gf was a camgirl? the power-dynamics that make this a bad situation for the OP. I'm waiting

My point is those professions involve dealing with clients/patients on a very intimate level. Sex is only one level of intimacy. And a girl dildoing herself on camera can't really even be called sex

It honestly sounds like this problem is taking care of itself. It seems she has already outgrown her friends and just hasn't fully admitted it to herself yet. I give her a month or two and then she'll be done with them for good. It's possible they'll suck her back into their vortex but just keep her on the right path, and tactfully but firmly remind her as often as necessary how toxic her friends are.

Not that the article didn't make me shake my head, but in her defense, we men don't have random dudes coming up to us and trying to talk to us constantly (other than bums). Men are most of the victims of violent crime but most of those victims are themselves perpetrators of violence. "Live by the sword, die by the sword." Honestly I would say the demographic that least needs to be concerned about being a victim of violence are law-abiding men, especially outside of the ghetto. inb4 "white knight…

Would you refuse to date a masseuse? A talk therapist? A nurse? All of these professions involve intimate interactions of some sort. That doesn't mean their professional lives would detract from their relationship with you. Camming is no different.

You sound like the super jealous, overprotective type. I'm a camboy and have dated a camgirl in the past with whom I did shows. Both of us have an exhibitionist side to us so it was a win-win-win. Now I'm not saying your feelings are wrong per se, but I think you might benefit from hearing alternate views on the subject.

It's using an extremely loose version of "sexual assault." Even getting your tittie grabbed on the train is "sexual assault". Apparently the people who perpetuate this "statistic" see no problem with lumping in gropes with violent rapes.
