What about em? I don't know, 'oily hair' sounds like something made up. I'm sure this oil you speak of actually comes from the scalp. Have you actually detoxed? Have you given your body the time to adapt to not regularly be attacked by all these shampoo chemicals? Otherwise, I have no idea and no advice. For me it's not a problem anyway. I just shower and wash the hair everyday with only water.

I've gone nopoo (ditch shampoo and soap) about 10 years ago and it's only had advantages. I'd rather not put all sorts of chemicals on my body. The shampoo companies are in the moneymaking business, not in the getting-you-clean business. If you manage to detox from shampoo for a few days, you will realize you don't actually need it.

At least in the netherlands we refer to certain careerpaths as 'alpha' and 'beta'. Alpha being stuff like languages etc, and beta being math/science etc. Maybe she was talking about that.
