I guess it depends what your issues are, how experienced the therapist is and what kind of therapy it is. I’m currently with an older woman who does cognitive behavioural therapy and it’s amazing for my mental health. Before that I was with another female therapist who I loved but she was very young and inexperienced and so she couldn’t help me past a certain point because she lacked the knowledge but she was still an amazing person who helped me a lot.

I seriously don’t think that’s true man, I think your just projecting your preconceived hatred or judgement of women. I’m not sure where you learned this distain but I’d implore you to attempt to reconsider your pre conceived beliefs.

Wow this is one of the biggest bs misogynistic comments I’ve ever read on here. I’m guessing your super into that red pill nonsense? Female therapists have literally saved my life and women in general have always been the most compassionate and caring towards me in my tough times, you couldn’t be more wrong in your assessment.

Some people don’t want to have kids and rather live responsibility free, just doing what they want

What’s wrong with people who sleep around and enjoy life?

Why? What’s wrong with having fun?

Yah I guess I’m pretty nihilistic so I don’t really view any particular outcome as inherently good or bad, I’m just trying to live my life and have fun doing whatever I want

Yah I feel you but you can’t blame anyone who doesn’t have kids because they want to keep their freedom and enjoy their life as much as possible

Some people just don’t want kids man, nothing wrong with that

That’s just not true though, you made up a caricature and are acting like it applies to all or even a significant portion of women.

a lot of girls want careers and to live fun adventurous lives, not to be a dependent housewife

I have some that I have been friends with for a long that I trust and have done a lot for me. But yah in general I’m very picky when choosing new friends, don’t really have any close female friends at school just people I get along and can work with. Thank you for your response though

Ok thanks for the advice

Ah ok I understand, makes sense. I guess it’s ok to get some things out of them and have fun with them but you just need to be careful of their intrinsic nature and intentions

Idk that’s a pretty broad brush to paint all women and humans are more complex then that I think

I’m not against having female friends, I have some close ones but I’m just very picky I guess so most will just be like a professional work relationship

I go to school in a program with mostly women my age, a lot of the work is complex team projects. It’s fine though, I just stick to working and hanging out with the women who are actually nice and cool

Ok thanks, I disagree personally about the male and female friends thing, I know it’s possible but maybe more rare then male and male friendships

Oh ok yah I’ve definitely noticed that. Like some girls I know will act completely different around a tall attractive guy then they will around someone they aren’t trying to sleep with Men will do this also ofc but I feel like not to the extreme extent that a lot of women do

Really appreciate this lengthy response, it’s really helpful. Yes definitely am not getting married, divorce sounds awful and some women can be absolutely ruthless And yah my mom and grandma raised me and are the best people I know. My mom did some absolutely selfless things for me growing up that literally make me cry when I think about them now so I definitely wanna give her a better life when I get on and start making money. My grandma also but she’s very old now so I just make sure I spend a…

What do you mean by this? But yah I’m definitely a cautious person, I make sure I’m respectful and courteous to everyone i interact with but for the most part I never chase anyone and I’m very picky about who I open up to and allow in my close circle

Thanks a lot for this list, I’m not usually one for self help books but these look super useful and interesting. I’m kinda loaded on reading and shit for school right now but when the semester is over I’ll definitely make a point to start doing a lot of personal reading

Ok thanks for the response yah that makes sense. Do you mind educating me real quick on some of the ideologies regarding women that you just mentioned? I definitely see some backwards type stuff in the dating world though if it’s what your talking about, most women expect men to take charge and pay for shit, do a lot of the heavy lifting in the relationship, etc and overall ‘be a man’ yet they all preach for equality.

Ok gotcha thanks. Yah this makes a lot of sense, I really like the thought of building my own ideology and way of life, going against the mainstream. And yah I have no intentions of ever marrying and if I have a kid it will probably be a baby I adopt from a third world country but even that is most likely not gonna happen since I really like the idea of having my independence later in life when I actually have money to spend on myself lol
/r/MGTOW03/09/19 03:16 AM

Oh ok so it’s really about being your own individual and finding your own personal ideologies and ways of living instead of following the ways of the masses And thanks ill download that book

The key is not giving a fuck what anyone thinks of you. Not saying that you do op, just saying for anyone reading that happiness happens internally and if you are truly at peace with yourself then nothing anyone says or thinks about you should be able to phase you.

I agree it’s better to not masturbate before a date but it’s not true that you ‘lose testosterone’ when you ejaculate. That part is pure bs bro science

I know this is not a direct answer but things like meditation help tremendously with this kind of thing. It will help you relax, be more calm and composed and especially help you get outside your own ego and sense of self to be able to look at things with a much wiser outside perspective

Dude you put way too much emphasis on age when it’s really just a number, especially for guys. It’s the number of times you’ve orbited the sun, it’s not some magic number that determines what you look like, where you should be at in life and what kind of girls you can get. I can point you to people in their 30 who look 10x better then people in their 20s and vice versa. It’s just a number. Also you are a guy so you will generally age better and remain attractive to girls for much longer then gir…

Yah I agree, only way people can give you specific advice is if we know what you look like so we can know if there’s any way for you to fix it If not then things like confidence, being in shape, posture, good personal style, proper grooming and hygiene, nice haircut, etc can help make up for bad looks. Plus your tall so it’s even easier for you to make up the difference in girls eyes. If you do all these things then I honestly doubt your that ugly. You have to remember that we judge ourselves an…

Bro definitely go for the second date. Some girls are just a little more reserved and want to wait a bit longer before getting intimate. I didn't get to kiss my last girlfriend until after like 3-4 dates and we ended up dating for almost 2 years. When I asked her about it after she said she really liked me and wanted to kiss but she was just scared she was just shy and scared she wasn't a good kisser.
