I wish jackasses of both sexes would leave people alone when they're doing their job -- of course, no one would follow up on a woman who does this. Working musicians are often targets of this kind of thing. Parties, bars, weddings, etc. Drunk women have no problem staggering up and molesting singers and guitar players, who are supposed to 'love the attention'.

I got as far as some woman saying: THIS IS THE GUY THAT SAYS RAPE SHOULD BE LEGAL! I'm not doing any research on that because I'm pretty sure that this characterisation of his dating philosophy is 100% untrue. Yet, she just has to scream it, inciting an angry mob against him.

I always get massive downvotes for even mentioning this place. These people don't know anything about what goes on here. Every day we see posts thanking this sub for changing someone's life. I don't see that in /r/politics or /r/trees, and definitely not /r/SRS. Still, you'll never change some people's bias against seddit. Every now and then we get a visit from a crusading feminist who parachutes in with pre-conceived notions of what this place is all about, scared by the locker room familiarity…

It's funny, I was going to do a post on condoms just the other day. Not to burst your bubble, but this storage problem is a needless worry. I read a factsheet on the Male Natural Rubber Latex Condom produced by the World Health Organisation's Family Planning and Population Reproductive Health Technical Support centre. As I suspected, condoms are much more resilient than we give them credit for. Just have a look at page 13: Heat was also shown to degrade latex properties, probably through the pro…

I have posts going back to July 2009 on seddit. But that shouldn't matter, this isn't a credentials competition, we're all here to learn. I'm just concerned whenever I see people potentially memorising fake stories to try to impress targets -- it's not a healthy philosophy and I don't think it reflects well on the seduction community. If this thread was meant to be something else, then I apologise. Just respectfully adding my two cents to the discussion.

I disagree that this is a particularly good thread idea. Personally, I think authenicity is essential in good game. I have no problem with canned material if its congruent with someone's character and lifestyle -- I mean who doesn't tell the same stories over and over? Even Louis CK only changes his material once a year. If you're short of material, I think you could spend a little time going back over your life you'll come across 5 worthy and interesting stories that you've probably forgotten. …

Just want to say I thought your post was excellent. Sure some of the stuff looks a little douchebaggy on the page, but Alphas sometimes appear a little douchey (to the competition usually!). Tone and delivery are key, as you point out. As recently as Wed night I met a guy who repeatedly told a women there was a smell of shit from her. I was appalled; but naturally, she loved it. I think the criticism is that most of us here are looking for Authenticity in our approaches. All the top gurus talk about congruence, having your behaviour jibe with your intent. Building a better reality for ourselves comes first, the women after. But you seem to be halfway there with an interesting hobby of sorts. If this was a 'legitimate' pursuit that then resulted in dating, rather than an artificial construct you'd get more upvotes.

But a surprising percentage of young ladies 18-30 do appreciate the calm confidence of a worldly older man. My game is easily ten times as good as when I was 18. Exhibit A--The Irishman The large jaw, therefore, is seen to be both a result and a cause of certain things. As the inheritance of a fighting ancestor it is the result of millions of years of fighting in prehistoric times, and, like any other over-developed part or organ, it has an intense urge to express itself. This inherent urge is what makes the owner of that jaw "fight at the drop of the hat," and often have "a chip on his shoulder." As an Irishman (and a human) I call BS. I didn't wade thr…

Don't forget that from time to time we all repeat stories that we think are funny or interesting. After a while we know where the cadences and punchlines are. You're talking about the very same technique, just with 'manufactured' stories, i.e. ones that have not occurred naturally from other conversations. Sinn (or was it Savoy?) recommends carefully constructing fables from your own life that (while true) manage to highlight your attractive qualities without bragging. Basically, adding subtle D…

Dating is not Monopoly, where you strategize to get rich ("alpha") and win (get laid). I can't understand how you got this from seddit. You must have read a couple of unfortunately ignorant posts. This sub is about helping lonely redditors to attract the women they desire, nothing more. Success or "winning" occurs when they manage to present the best version of themselves and create this attraction. There is no lying, no misrepresentation, and no underhand "tricks." Thanks for the post. This is exactly what proper Game should be about, not just methods and lines, it's building the kind of life that attracts the women you want--with the bonus that you get a great life from it. This is the antidote to all those who decry Game as shallow and manipulative, and it's probably relevant to every subreddit out there. To the people who simply cannot turn off their analytical brains, who have a crushingly difficult time merely socialising, this advice is worse than useless--it's insultingly patronising and ignorant. I'm glad this discussion is here. While I agree in substance, there is however a contradiction. It's true that people rarely remember the opener even after a few minutes, but the thing is, it still has to be good enough to actually 'open' with. By that I mean we must avoid using stale, boring lines like "So, you come here a lot?" or "Hey, what's your name?" or "[insert generic internet sleazy joke pickup]" It must be at least a little intriguing, the mechanics of well-known openers like "Who lie…

I disagree. I think there is plenty in the book (The Game) to suggest that merely picking up women for sex is an empty and ultimately unfulfilling experience. Just read the parts about Mystery's various breakdowns or Style's impotence with a HB10. The lesson they eventually learn is that you first build a unique and interesting lifestyle, this will attract women in due course--if not, well then you have a fascinating worthwhile life for yourself anyway.

This type of person is often called the 'connector' in marketing terms. The person who knows what everyone else is up to--so all information passes through them. You may have ten friends you see regularly, they may have 100. Wash. Rinse. Repeat. That's the classic advice to someone looking to overcome LMR (last minute resistance). It also works for the shy girl. You can't just pick up from where you left off ('Hey you let me touch your breast last week!'). After a night out where you've used kino escalation, start the physical seduction process (couch, bedroom etc). When you get to a certain point she will stop you. She enjoys the sensations, but she's a 'good girl' and she is in control of the level of petting. So …

Have you tried kino? I mean, it seems like she's not really interested in talking. Isolate her, tell her to sit closer to you, and see if she does it without any comment. Escalate. You may have to change, but you don't have to alter your personality. Rather than relying on canned routines and fabricated stories, much of modern game theory allows you the freedom (or offers the challenge) to become the best version of yourself. I'd give it 6/10. If you're comfortable walking up to a group of girls and saying "Hi I'm 8bitman," bravo. But, let's think about them for a moment. Not really a tl;dr, but to put this in a less formal manner, my understanding of ASD is that girls simply cannot be seen to be sluts, in their own eyes or the eyes of others. Therefore, you can't just say let's go to my place and have sex--there's an innate reaction against this, no matter how much they would like to. The sex can't be planned, it has to 'just happen.' So in practical terms, for members of this sub-reddit, what does all this mean for a PUA? Well, the aeons-old technique of 'You s…

I'd like to add that sshields contacted me some time ago and was complimentary about my Seddit posts--he also politely asked if I would consider contributing to his blog. Apart from the white-on-black weird fonts, I've found it's quite a good read. I seriously doubt there was any malicious scamming/spamming/scraping on his behalf. Benefit of the doubt; we're all friends here, right guys...?

You gotta hang with supportive wings. Any friend who cockblocks you is not a real friend. AFCs say 'Here's my friend Bob, he's a total loser, ha ha.' but PUAs say 'This is Bob, the most awesome dude you'll meet tonight. He's running a marathon next week in Chile. (or whatever)' Your friends are all cool and supportive--because if you hang around with negative losers, then so are you. Choose wings carefully, I guess that's the message. Good luck!

The assumption here is that the AMOG is unskilled (therefore will become confused by any advanced game) but he is possibly a natural, in which case you have legitimate competition to step up to!

One approach for hired guns suggests that you get yourself two hot pawns, then sit with your back to the bar (with the pawns facing you) and talk over your shoulder to the target--ignoring the other two HBs. It sends messages of pre-selection and alpha-ness. This approach couldn't hurt!

Depends on definitions, but all contact is technically part of DiCarlo's Kino Escalation Ladder. I agree, touching is touching. Of course, we generally mean sensual touch when we say kino. Mileage varies.

No expert but... I am late thirties, but look mid-30s and I'd love to age more slowly like you. But you have to understand that essentially looks don't matter. Sure, a gorgeous model type of guy is going to get instant attention and that's a great advantage, but I've seen more than my fair share of them drop the ball due to a million other reasons. Grooming and dressing well is 50%. The rest is attitude, conversation, kino, humour etc. Looks play a very small part in your interaction with women …

The community is full of jackasses. Having said that, the few helpful and intelligent PUAs out there make it all worthwhile. I've learnt an incredible amount about basic human interaction from studying game, things that I somehow missed out on in life. I consider Decker's Authentic Man Program a prime rebuttal of how misinformed most people are about the real goals of PU. It's not just about getting laid folks--hookers would be quicker, cheaper and easier!

Kudos for going back to kiss/hug her. If she shows any indicators of interest now, you're gold. For what it's worth, on the somewhat related note of kissing-anxiety, whenever I bring a girl home after a date I try to give her a proper kiss out in the hallway before she comes up to my apartment (it's always: "Just for a little while, but then I'll have to kick you out. Gotta be up early tomorrow."). Then I continue as normal, making drinks and small talk, but we both know the barrier has been bro…

For some reason, you're automatically assuming the conversation is stupid. Well, if you prefer direct DHV over indirect, be my guest.

Indirect bragging comes to mind. That's where (in a car conversation) instead of saying "I have an exotic sports car," you mention that it's sometimes hard to get parts for your car. Then she'll ask about it. Anyway, you need to make sure your stories tick those special boxes with the main attraction switches: Pre-selected by Women, Protector of Loved Ones, Leader of Men. Go through all your stories line by line, remove DLVs and subtly add/highlight DHVs. Try this goldmine:http://www.theattracti…

This doesn't read well to me. I wasn't there, what do I know--but she sounds pretty indifferent to this 'relationship.' I think it's important not to pursue this girl, at least not to be seen to pursue her. It might be a good idea to invite her to some event along with some of your female friends (you have some right?)--that way she'll see you have options and won't feel like you're focusing so much on her, which can make you appear needy. The iPod could be good however, it acts as an anchor in …

Pickup definitely should not be about fakeness. Most reputable PUA methods stress that you shouldn't lie, just become the person that will attract the women you desire. Inner game work is crucial. The Authentic Man program is one example of this (not affiliated!). Think of it this way: you meet a woman and tell her honestly that you spent all day alternating between reddit and RedTube. She's not going to be impressed. If on the other hand, you ask her to join you at a wine tasting you're attendi…

Well, I think it's a man's job to try 10 girls and get lucky with one, whereas it's a girl's job to reject 9 guys and select one. It's not really an even playing field.

True, they don't get laid that night, however from an evolutionary standpoint they have weeded out someone with (seemingly) low social intelligence and/or too little aggressive traits to survive the tribe rituals and harsh winters. But, yeah no action for them tonight!

This is one of those classic cases where we over/underthink a situation--where the girl eventually says "How many hints do you need??" Everyone is guilty of it, and we'll all do it again, whether through insecurity or incorrect focus. A couple of months ago, I put a girl in a taxi when she refused to go home with me. Then the text arrived: "The cab driver thinks you're blind for not getting in the taxi too. G'nite!" I was so fixated on my plan (which had apparently worked, apart from the actual …

I'm not sure if I'd actually mention the dollar amounts. It's important to appear as if money means nothing to you--rich or poor, it has to be no big deal for you. I avoid any mention of how expensive stuff is (even if I'm biting my tongue at the mention of $10,000 handbags).

This is a response to the barrage of outraged reactions on MetaFilter to 'negging' techniques developed originally by Mystery. The posters seem to be unaware of the history behind this method. Firstly: That PUA lines are just fake garbage. Mystery himself was merely analysing and cataloguing ruses that were already successful for naturals. This means that while the Natural is praised for his boldness, cheekiness, and (as De Angelo puts it) "cocky-funny" attitude, the lowly PUA-wannabe is lambast…

You're talking about a warm approach at work, that's always going to be tricky. One of the problems here is that you have already established a 'relationship' of sorts, she has a clear impression of you and the boundaries are set. Breaking out of that will take some initiative, you'll have to display that there is more to you than she thinks ("Wow. I never knew you were into salsa dancing, Tommy!"). But if she's really not that into you, you'll have to be very careful how you find out. It also s…

I can recommend this excellent opener by Cajun. PUA: Hey, do you think I look like a drug dealer? HB: What? (or anything else) PUA: These two girls just came up to me looking to score weed or coke or something. And they were getting all sexual, saying "Hey, baby can you hook us up." (Say this while doing an impression of the girls manner, including rubbing the target's arm seductively) Maybe I should take up drug smuggling? Here you have broken the ice with a timely and interesting (though fake)…

Decker's Authentic Man Program deals with this in some detail. Fear of rejection. Why do we feel this overwhelming terror before asking a girl out? You need to ask yourself: Is my own sense of self-worth, the personal reality I've build up over decades, really so fragile that it can be shaken by a couple of words from a girl I've only known for 30 seconds? Ideally, whether or not she accepts your advances should almost be a matter of indifference to you--like offering someone a cigarette, yes/no…

The method of gaming a 'hired gun' like a bartender kinda goes like this. You have to get into a situation where you are standing at the bar, facing away from the bartender, with two other attractive women, one on either side laughing at your jokes and generally flirting with you. Then you can lean over your shoulder, ignoring them to talk to your real target. That's your opening move anyway. If you're wondering 'How the hell do I get two other good looking women??' then you're probably not real…

Her fingers can definitely tell the difference when she’s directing the cock action, but her vagina cannot. Since men can tell the difference between sex with a condom and without, that tells me the penis is far more sensitive to touch than the vagina is. This is an error in logic. The layer of latex prevents the penis from benefiting from friction, but the vagina still receives friction from the moving penis.

Here's hoping this sub-reddit is supportive: I've read a lot of game books and listened to a lot of tapes. I find the subject fascinating on an intellectual level but becoming truly successful requires real work. Difficult work. Facing all sorts of phobias, hang-ups and rejections. It's like learning a new language. The approach-50-women-a-week regimen is probably a good example. This would tighten anyone's game immensely but do we have the stomach for it? I know I don't!
