A lot of guys would be surprised how unfullfilling it is / how much they don't actually like it if it suddenly became a reality for them. Yeah, just like being rich is terrible because money doesn’t buy happiness /s

I used to wait tables. One night, when I was young and single, the hottest guy I'd ever seen came in. I couldn't even speak to him- I don't know what came over me- but I was just too star struck and too out of it to do my job. I gave the table to the other waitress. Never saw or spoke to him again. I’ve been emotionally and verbally abused before by a woman, so tbh that quote makes it sound like it’s always the man’s fault.

Being safe and stable is a good thing, but I’d rather someone be with me because of raw desire rather than stability. I’m also not comfortable being with someone who secretly fantasizes about other men. Especially if those men are the opposite of what I am.

All that is good to know. My biggest fear is just to get into another relationship where the woman isn’t attracted to me. I will try to vet better this time.

Sorry that happened to you. You deserve and will find better. Not all women are going to be like that Thanks! I appreciate the advice.
