Conversation: Say hello, ask her a simple question and let her do the talking and provide validation for her input while throwing in some specifics as to why you like what she is saying (or why you don't). If the conversation dies put the pressure on her to keep it going. Stretch, take a drink, look at her expectantly. Let her know she has to prove herself to you. Escalation: You already know this. Kino. You have to convey with how you touch her that you want your body on top of hers. I know it'…

Damn, so close. I've got to work on breaking the LMR. She is in a meetup group I am a part of, so I'll still be seeing her pretty regularly. I've been ignoring her, and she has been doing the same. Oh well, I'll do better with the next one.

There is a good chance that a friendship with another man will become something more than just a friendship, unless they are obvious orbiters. It happened to me with my wife (soon to be ex for that reason). Never again will I be involved in a LTR with a girl who has male "friends." As a plate sure, but nothing more. Lots of women out there. No reason to take a chance.

What I wanted was tangible proof something was going on. I needed something that could hold up in court assuming it comes to that. Hopefully I can get some proof of her sleeping with him too. My lawyer said anything I can gather to support that would be helpful.

Engineering and nursing. If you graduate you will get a job. I graduated engineering, my GPA was not amazing (supporting a family while in school) and I had a great job day day 1 after graduation.

The girls you see on a regular basis are the best ones to ignore because she sees you actively doing it. Chances are she'll keep vying for your attention until she gives up or decides she wants to fuck you.

Orbiters are male plates (they give attention without a woman needing to put out for it) and I expect a woman to give up her plates same as me if she wants an exclusive relationship. I think one of the problems is my wife never really had orbiters until after we were married, so she is somehow succeptable to their "advances." This would be a good explanation for how I got her.

Even remotely attractive girls on Tinder are literally swamped with dicks. Online dating should always be plan B. Approaching real live girls is more intimidating, but the rewards are greater. You are much more likely to get the interest of someone better looking that way. That being said you have entered the big leagues of online dating. You are now in the 18+ range I am assuming. This means you are going to have trouble in that arena for a few years since girls are getting messages from good l…

Men are told to be masculine. Men have shorter lifespans. Therefore masculinity is killing men. Clearly this woman doesn't have basic, middle school level science and reasoning skills. Don't take advice from women on how to be a man. Ever.

It's not that you don't speak, you just don't share too much about yourself, your views, etc. but everything you do say must be truthful.

Monk mode is a good idea for people who are starting TRP for this reason. Once you have the discipline to deprive yourself of these things for a few months and make significant progress with your life then you can start having "cheat days" as an occational reprieve. I've seen a lot of people (myself included) decide to make better choices, and use cheat days once a week, but it turns into twice a week, then three times, and eventually you are right back where you started.

Continuous, exclusively positive interactions are circlejerking and gossiping inside an echo chamber. This is one thing I really like about the members of TRP and related subs. They will not pull punches if you do/say something stupid.

Saw a string of comments from a TRP user about weekend-morning game that I found brilliant (u/abdada). He would go out on Saturday/Sunday mornings to parks and such to meet women. This was an easy way to weed out the party girls who are still sleeping/hungover. This way he was also able to plate a few girls as LTRs which I found interesting as well. Here is the link to the post. His comments are near the top: http://www.reddit.com/r/TheRedPill/comments/391c11/i_dont_give_bitches_discounts/ One o…

It seems like you have it together enough to keep this LTR going since the IDGAF attitude comes naturally for you. She knows you don't feel like you need her. That's good. Check out the marriedredpill for good advice on LTRs. The one thing I'd say is that she isn't attracted to you because she doesn't have to compete for you. A good point to add is that a man's love can be unconditional, which is fundementally different than the way a woman loves a man. We have the capability to love regardless of feelings or changes to our environment. We can love a woman out of the deepest reaches of our being. We must be disciplined enough to only show this in appropriate situations, i.e. comfort/loyalty tests. Any other time and she will lose respect for us, and with it her love. The same cannot be said for a woman. She can love …

An important step in becoming your own man is to figure out what you want out of life. Not what you are supposed to want, what you want. This can take time depending on how feminized your views are. Then make a plan to get what you want. What can you do today, tomorrow, a month from now, etc. Educate yourself about your goals, reach them, and make more. Keep moving, keep acting. Your aspirations are first and foremost. Women are merely a side effect of that lifestyle.

No woman is good LTR material at first. That's the way I choose to look at it. After 2 months there is no way your frame is strong enough to mold her into a good LTR. Not only that but you have not internalized an abundance mindset by spinning plates. Do not even think about an LTR until you have been RP for years and been spinning plates long enough to have a good idea of what kind of woman is going to fit your frame.

Manipulative tears. Pure and simple. She wants affirmation. Don't give it to her. Move on, go into monk mode, read, develop your interests and hobbies, spin plates, develop an abundance mentality, whatever you want, but forget about this girl.

You can't change it so quit worrying about it. It matters, but so does height and you can't change that. You have to deal with what you've got. As with anything else, being confident with what you have is much more important than how big it is.
/r/askTRP05/06/15 03:23 PM
1

You have to understand AWALT. And unless a woman has fully recognized and internalized this herself she will not be able to rise above her base instincts. Even then there is only so much she can do. No one can hold out forever when they have better options. In the end it is all about comparative SMV. If she feels that she can do better, eventually she will.
/r/askTRP05/06/15 01:12 PM

This is a nice change from the normal spin plates response. From what I understand the best thing to keep in this situation is abundance mentality. This will keep you from oneitis when you enjoy one girl's company significantly more than others.

Here is how Tinder is supposed to work: Get her number Set up a date over text Go on said date If you can't accomplish this within a few messages then she is not interested in a date and would be a waste of your time. This way you only waste a few minutes as opposed to several days. Also, if a girl tells you she is busy and doesn't say when she is free next she is making an excuse.

Ok. As an example. She has sex with you. Afterwards you give her your attention for a while. This is a good way to train her to want sex in a LTR, which I assume you are in. This does not work the other way around. You don't withhold sex from her because she isn't doing what you want. If the sex is starfishy and she isn't into it then you can stop. She will likely want you more soon after because of this. But this doesn't sound like your problem. Here is another thing. If the sex is the only thi…

South Park had an episode that pertains to this. The character Cartman steals a joke from one of his friends Jimmy (the gay fish episode). He passes the joke off as his own and when questioned on it he adamantly proclaims the joke is his own. Near the end of the episode Kyle says that Cartman is not lying, but instead has convinced himself that what he says is entirely the truth. Women are like this. They have no sense of the past, of what they said or how they felt when they said it. All that m…

I am no expert on TRP. What you say makes sense to a point. People do come in different levels of quality, but that does not make any one girl different from the rest. Given the right circumstances every woman will react in the same way. If you look at the steps of TRP digestion the first reaction to this information is denial, then anger. It sounds like you may still be in denial. The last stage is acceptance. This is where you understand that all women are wired the same way, and that is okay.…

Sex should be the thing you like. It's pretty much the best thing a woman can offer to a man. You reward sex with other things such as your time/attention. Subconsciously she will want sex with you more because of the reward. This is how it is supposed to work. You reward sex. You do not reward with sex.

This is similar to another post about a guy wanting to take things "slow" and not sleep with a girl right away. She found someone else to fuck. She has to earn your attention, your time, etc. but not sex. If you want to keep your girlfriend you need to fuck her every time she wants it. Not doing so in a major DLV. If you don't give it to her someone else will. If you legitimately don't want to have sex with her you should find another girl.

Engineering is fucking awesome. I won't lie, the classes are hard and they don't get any easier, but do not let exam blues cause you to drop out. Put in the goddamn work and get it done. Quitting doesn't make life easier, it makes it harder. I had troubles. I failed exams and even a couple classes, but I kept with it. I was close to dropping out a few times. Men are natural leaders at their core. That is why lifting/goal oriented behavior makes us happy. It's how we are wired. Conditioning has covered this up in a thick layer of feministic shit. We are told that if we just do what our women tell us and treat them like a princess then we will get what we want from the relationship (sex). But that doesn't answer your question. Women are natural followers. They need a leading man to be happy, so no. It doesn't work with women.

You should take to heart some of the responses you are getting. It is literally scientifically impossible to consume less calories than you are burning and not lose weight. Maybe your diet is not right for weight loss. Have you seen a nutritionist or a personal trainer who can advise you in this? A PT can also be a great tool in developing the right routine for you. Don't give up because a doctor told you that you have a medical reason for obesity. Rise above it.

Maybe there is some kind of medication for your condition. I know there are testosterone supplements available. The key with popularity is not caring whether or not you are popular. IDGAF attitude. There is tons of info on this in the sidebar reading and in lots of other posts so I won't go into great detail. I don't usually buy into the medical reasons for being overweight. I don't doubt that you have been having trouble with weight loss, but I think doctors tend to throw around matabolism and neurological disorders as a reason for weight loss like they are handing out candy on halloween. Beta is doing something for a girl that you don't necessarily want to do. Do you want to cuddle? If so it isn't beta. If you cuddle simply because she wants to then it is. TL/DR: Get out of your own head and just do what you want.
/r/askTRP01/06/15 01:47 AM

You can't force someone to take TRP. It almost always comes from someone experiencing a breaking point of being BP. Sometimes it is a cheating girlfriend/wife, sometimes they realize that their beta methods aren't working like they believe they should. Talking about TRP to someone who is not ready to accept it is just going to make them look at you like a crazy misogynist.

Moral of the story: If a woman you are interested in is sending you "fuck me" signals, do it. Every. Time. While a woman turning down a man for sex is pretty well accepted a man turning down sex from a woman is a major DLV in her eyes.

I second this. I am part of a few meetups in my area. If I wanted to I could be hanging out at a group meetup every day. You meet a bunch of new people and there are usually a good number of girls in these groups. If nothing else you end up making friends.

A good first step is to actually plan dates. Girls LOVE it when you have a plan. Not only a plan, but a backup plan as well (just in case she absolutely hates the first plan). Make sure you pick things that you would like to do/places you want to go. Just go slow in implementing RP into an LTR where your girlfriend is not used to you being RP. Otherwise you will end up blowing up your relationship.

Right. Lifetime betas have convinced themselves that they want to do whatever a girl asks of them. First they would need to know themselves and what they want. Betas get so wrapped up in what women want that they have no idea what they want themselves.

The fat will come off while building muscle so long as you aren't eating a bunch of junk. 5x5 program is great to start. You should be able to see significant gains from this for the first 3-4 months. After that you will need to watch your diet and plan your workouts more effectively in order to continue to see improvement.

False rape allegations are a problem, but not that big of one. You have a better chance of contracting a deadly disease, but you don't worry about that when going outside. Just don't get with crazy chicks and don't make them feel like they need to defend their "honor" by saying they were raped.

Just cold approach. What's the worst that could happen? You could freeze and she will think you are creepy. That's it. It's not like she is going to pull out a knife and try to stab you (I hope). Just keep going. It gets easier every time. It also helps you appreciate abundance mentality.

Stop eating zone perfect bars. If I remember correctly they use soy protein which increases your brain's production of estrogen. Make sure your protein comes from whey (or meats). Also they have too much sugar and sugars could be part of your problem. It comes down to a calorie in/calorie out equation. Something that I have been dealing with while swallowing the pill: TRP is not about salvaging relationships. It's about you being the best version of you that you can be. It's about loving yourself and all that entails. You are focusing too much on her. She may very well be getting some on the side from this friend. If she hasn't already then she will. Assuming she is I want definitive proof of it first. Then I'll file for divorce. I already have a lawyer and have discussed the situation and my options. Getting a recording or text evidence of her talking to her lover would only help me. The fact that she would lie to me about it probably means she doesn't want that to be brought up in legal proceedings because it will work against her.

As far as my diet goes all I did was cut out sugars, grains, and anything processed. As far as meat it was almost all lean meat. Later I found out this is essentially the Paleo diet. The fat melted off. I lost 20lb in the first 2 months and still had good gains from lifting.

One important thing for me starting this was not to have a certain weight goal. The mirror is a much more reliable tool to tracking your progress since as you lose fat you should be gaining muscle. It's likely she uses this because she gets some kind of reaction out of you. Now that you trew it back in her face she gets to play the victim. You lost your frame and gave her what she wanted. This is only going to reinforce the bad behavior.

I hear this from women all the time. They don't want their guys to be pro bodybuilder huge. Honestly I wouldn't want to look like that either, but it takes a very, very long time to even get close to that. Those guys are pros. Meaning they do it for a living. Maybe I am trying to be too detatched from this. I have made it clear to her that I do not want a divorce at this point. I am taking it past "I want my marriage to survive, but I don't need it to," and getting into "I don't want my marriage to survive." I've never quit something simply because it was diffucult, and I shouldn't start now. I don't want that to be part of who I am. I need to see the MAP through and refocus on my happiness. Thanks.

It really would. That's easily my biggest regret in all this. I understand this situation is ultimately my fault, but if this ends badly the one who suffers the most will be her. So long as that doesn't happen I will contunue to run the MAP and see where it takes me.

There is always a possibility of cheating. If you present high value to your spouse the probability is much lower. If you consistently present low value then it is almost inevitable. My wife would have never struck anyone as the kind of person who would cheat on her husband, but after years of my being complacent she found someone who would pay her attention in the way she wanted. As far as I know it was only an emotional affair, not that it hurt any less at the time. That changed me, at least a…

I know I talk too much as well. The best thing I can do 95% of the time is shut up. I don't have the practice to do much else at this point, and apologizing can sometimes be a knee-jerk thing (I kick myself every time for this). I have also found that getting out and going silent works well. I will still need to wait on my SMV a while to make any power plays.

This is too black and white. Also, the answer to your questions is no, at least not for someone who has really embraced TRP. TRP is not at all about what your SO does or does not do. You do what you can with what you can control. You do not change based on the people around you. You do not care how others percieve you. If the things you said about the man are true then either his SO will change or he will leave her for someone better.

I had a female teacher in high school who was quite literally one of the hottest teachers I have ever had. She never referred to her husband as her husband. She always called him her boyfriend. You can bet that guy was getting laid. All. The. Time.

I work with a lot of these guys. They let their wives run the show, and not surprisingly, almost all of them have been divorced at least once.

I am almost 100% sure that she is not actively fucking someone else. I would be honestly surprised if she were. That being said, it wouldn't bother me that much. If anything it gives me more ammunition against her in the divorce.

If you have to ask you should have already told her. I am in the process of doing this with my wife. We are splitting our accounts because she spends too much. She will now be covering her own expenses with whatever money she can bring in.

Thanks, I'll be doing everything I can to protect myself. That said it is not unusual for her to blow cash like this. In her mind she had not even spent that much because of how poorly she keeps track of it. I don't believe it is anything malicious, but again, it never hurts to be safe.

I'll remember that next time.

Stop apologizing, don't assume inevitably, don't argue. Got it. I am getting good at laughing off the divorce. I do believe she means it, but seeing me take it so well definitely affects her. As far as the money goes we are separating accounts. If she doesn't want to deal with my shit she can move out anytime she wants, provided she had the cash for it.

Right. I have posted a couple of times here and gotten similar advice. I am doing my best to bust the divorce, but she is pretty set on it. She has never been the kind of person to screw someone (Edit: not literally screw, just wanted to clarify) out of spite. Nevertheless I have contacted a lawyer to make sure I protect myself in every way I can. I'm not concerned with my wife's looks at this point necessarily. She is hot, but I am closing the SMV gap every day. Another month or so and I should…

Really well. My wife (likely soon to be ex) and I have a 7 year old daughter. My wife is pretty damn hot and my SMV is a bit lower, but I am gaining on her every day. Not only that, but she has no real job qualifications while I have an engineering degree and a stable job. Unless I royally suck at my job I am guaranteed employment for the forseeable future. She may find a sugar daddy, but I doubt I will have any trouble finding someone younger, hotter and way more emotionally stable.

Shit tests are difficult enough for me to catch and deal with at this point. The best thing I have in my arsenal is to shut the fuck up. I don't think I am ready for a shitstorm like you are talking about, but I do need to get my finances in order. If she is as serious as I think she is about divorce then she should be at least somewhat onboard with "gaining" financial independence. She has a job. It doesn't make much so I will need to pay for neccesities (rent, insurance, etc.), but the point i…

It is our daughter. We had her 7 years ago, back when our relationship was young. I can say concretely that she is mine. She looks a lot more like me than she does my wife.

Fully in agreement with you here. Of course I am prepared to be patient as I work on this. The last thing I want is to appear desperate in some way. I have prepared for either eventuality. I will be hiring a lawyer to discuss my options as far as divorce if it comes to that.

Thanks. I like it. I do have a kid and I do NEED a lawyer. I'll make sure to get one ASAP. This should help to give me a better outlook on my potentially ending marriage.

This is pretty much the way I am looking at it, and yes, I do need to talk to a lawyer. I have a great job and great friends. It's not going to kill me to have my wife leave. I'd like for it to work, but if not it's her loss.

I have been lifting and eating well for a little over a month and last night my wife cited the whole "dad bod" thing. She says she likes it over the lifting bod. Nope, not falling for it. I won't lie, she is more attractive than me, but not for long. I think she sensed this and she has started going back to the gym.
