That's fair. I try to be as objective as I can. And I don't really know how to solve that. I suspect things will just get worse as we get older. But hopefully there'll be some peace when we're 6 feet under 🤷‍♂️.

This is gonna sound very edgy. It's very counter intuitive. But try to think about what you are doing when you create a new child. You are creating a version of you that will live probably live an unsatisfying life like most of us who's only real purpose for their existence is to be another employee in the economy. This kid will have anxieties, they'll have to figure out what to do with their life, and they may have a very difficult time dating just like you are right now. And it seems really li…

I'm sorry you took it this way. I'm not trying to say this is a panacaea of some kind. It's just in this whole sphere of "something is wrong(with me/society) and I have trouble in my romantic/sexual life", people seem to get into these thought loops and become very bitter and keep the bitterness going by finding things to get resentful at. Dating/sex is terrible for a lot of us. And it just sucks that these things that are so important to our wellbeing are not being met. All I'm saying is take a…

Reducing male sexual urge would have zero impact because of the following reason. The trouble between the sexes is not about sexual urges, it’s about a toxic feminist mindset that constantly ignores female bad behavior and focuses entirely on male bad behavior. Sexual desires have nothing to do with it. Don't you see how if you truly don't have men needing women. IF men don't NEED. Not want. NEED to have sex with women. A lot of the tensions and the balance of power will go in the other directio…

I think we will unfortunately need to let it crash and burn before changes happen. We need a generation of women who will live through modern man-hating feminism and get out of the other side with no men to get something to change. But even then I don't see it changing. I hope science can come in to help fix these problems in the future.

The only thing that really matters is suffering. There is no reason for suffering to exist. We're in the system and we're trying to find post-hoc reasons for suffering.

I think we're fooled by our psychology to think that conscious life is much better than it actually is. Life is meaningless. The suffering that occurs in life has no purpose. It's better never to have been.

That's fine. But why do they complain non-stop about women. By trying to get away from women, they are still caring about women. Look at pretty much all the posts on mgtow places they tend to be about how bad women are. That means that these guys are thinking about women and searching for how bad women are all the time. You see what I'm getting at.

is an individual's ability to choose the person they are intimate (emotionally, sexually, etc) with not a good thing? No I'm saying that the person who's rejected can suffer a lot. Sexual Frustration, low-self esteem, depression, etc. People say that sex won't solve these people's problems, since these guys are just after power. But this is just a failure of understanding. Hold on. I'm not saying this is men's faults. This just is. It's a problem and I'm trying to find a way to solve it. Forcing women to be more attracted to men doesn't work. Maybe it could work if we created pills for women that made them more attracted to average men. My point with commission vs omission is to say that whether it's right or wrong, we tend to see acts of commission as worse than acts of omission. I'm trying to think out loud here. Just look at these two scenarios. One is a girl w…

This is a difficult thing for most people to truly accept. We're probably hardwired to be more optimistic about life that it merits. But because of how well atheism is spreading and how little people believe in religion, the hope that religions used to provide in the face of suffering of life is working less and less. People are directionless in ways we haven't seen in a long time and their faith in the project of "Life" in general seems to be crumbling. God is dead, the message is slowly spread…

I'm just saying that life is suffering and not worth starting. Life is a curse and not really a blessing. It's not that I hate human beings somehow. It's just that life is meaningless, full of suffering and not worth starting. My point is just to say that the purported horror at human life going extinct is not something I share when people worry that human beings won't reproduce if men are less attracted to women.

Sometimes they will even betray their own children for men they deem sufficiently awe-inspiring. These things happen less than we think. For sure women are very very attracted to confidence and men who are high on the status hierarchy(which they and other sometimes confuse with scumbaggery). But my point is just that there is an imbalance of attraction between the sexes. Men want women way more than women want men.

The 80% thing is fairly easy to believe. Most women don't really choose men, they settle for the men they end up with because they can't get attractive men who can commit. All the studies I've seen regarding physical attraction on dating sites show that women find most men way below average in attractiveness. It's just unfortunate but it's a fact. Most men are not attractive to women. And with the rise of dating apps, decay of social skills, 0 tolerance for office relationships, etc. there's jus…

Yeah Sex Dolls and Legalizing Prostitution are sorely needed and would definitely help. Are women really complaining about men not approaching or is this us projecting our hurt from women's rejection and wanting women to get hurt by guys not approaching them. Is there any evidence of this?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/20 05:59 AM
2

The issue to me seems to be that men's power over women is explicit and women's power over men is implicit. A lot of women in this society are allowed to get away with murder. And they have the state behind them in many instances. I'm not condoning the actions of those women. But what women do to is what they're not doing. They have unrealistic standards for men. Many only sleep with attractive men and cry "where are all the good men" when those attractive men dump them. They use men as an ATMs.…

I wish marriage was the answer. And that just doesn't work. Look at any traditional societies or pre sexual revolution west. It's was not good enough for women which is why we're here. We're trying to find a way forward by synthesizing the old and the new.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/20 05:44 AM

Fair but still not the same. You don't see women spending $20 a month to get pictures of guys on OnlyFans. That's just not a thing that's happening at any detectable rate at all. They tend to think of these men more emotionally.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/20 05:40 AM
1

That's the first good idea that addressed the question. I think this would be a great way to reduce a lot of this stress. There is still a lot of stigma against being gay. Obviously being gay isn't a choice, but if more sexually fluid people who would just think of themselves as straight could have sex with other guys that would be a good thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/20 05:38 AM

I have to admit that that's fair.

Try to not take it personally and see where I'm coming from. It's a hard thing to do. We're hardwired to believe that we need to survive. It seems so natural. But try to think about it. What good reason is there for creating a new life?

Thank you. Many younger these days don't even bother for their own well-being. I honestly don't blame them. God is Dead. Life is meaningless. Religion isn't giving people the assurance that it once did. We live in an age that is increasingly Nihilistic without any purpose or future. It's hard to not give up and start to row a boat while you're in the middle of the ocean if you can't see land in any direction.

We can try.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/20 12:37 AM

That's not true at all. There are some people of both sexes(but mostly men) who aren't attractive to anyone at all. Life isn't fair.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/20 12:37 AM
1

That's the problem. The guys who can have sex do this. And the guys who can't have sex don't do this(at least they think so in their head). There's something about power and weakness that makes weak people think that they would be better if only they had power. All of us are partly good and evil. We can't ever be satisfied with what we have. It seems built in to our biology. Satisfaction is not a great trait to have if you want to reproduce the species.

I'm not religious in at all. I love the book of Ecclesiastes in the Bible. Everybody (religious or not) should read it. Especially if you're drawn to more Pessimistic Philosophies. It's one of the most beautiful nihilistic works, and it always makes me scratch my head thinking how the fuck did this make it into the Bible. Here's a link to it. It's very short. Looking at it, it's probably not responsible of me to give counselling on this topic when I don't know anything about you, your husband or your situation at all. We all need some level of privacy and space in a relationship and trying to be totally open with each other is impossible. He may just be a guy who don't have the same level of libido I had and still do have. Some guys do have lower libidos. Maybe he's worried about how you will judge him if he says something like: "What I look for is 'Asian Gangbang' or 'Anal Cumpilation'." If he knows you'll flip out if he's too honest, he won't talk about it. I don't know about your specific relationship, so I shouldn't speak about it. But I'm just telling you about my own experience.

With the amount of porn young guys are watching and have watched, their sex drives have been overstimulated. I’m around the same age and I know mine was for a long time before I stopped watching porn all together. The level of stimulation that I needed to get off started getting more and more intense. Just a girl fingering herself became threesomes became gang bangs and it got to a point where just one guy and one girl having sex couldn’t get me off. If I was you I’d have a talk with him and hav…

Men tend to lose their libido as they grow older and as they become "domesticated" and in a stable relationship. And porn is also sublimating a lot of that desire.

What you're failing to understand is the level of insanity that the sex drive creates in men vs. women. I have sisters and female friends and no matter how much I explain it, they don't seem to really understand it. At around 14-15 me and my friends started to notice girls. And it started becoming very very obsessed with this need. You're basically horny all the time. You start viewing almost all your self worth on the sexual status hierarchy. You want to be like the guys with girls. What comes …

That's not really a problem for me. I go back to The Book of Ecclesiastes in the Bible: I saw the tears of the oppressed—and they have no comforter; power was on the side of their oppressors—and they have no comforter. And I declared that the dead, who had already died, are happier than the living, who are still alive. But better than both is the one who has never been born, who has not seen the evil that is done under the sun. --Ecclesiastes 4:1-3

I know this is a bit of a late reply :) May I ask how my analysis is wrong? I'm genuinely curious about your opinions on this subject since you're a mod on FDS? What am I missing in my analysis? To summarize my points: There's about as many women as men in our society There are specific features that make men attractive to women and vice versa(irrespective of characteristics) Women are very picky. Men are much less picky, but are more thirsty and willing to "spread the seed" so to speak In terms…

I'm very split on TRP. Because the language for how they describe women is very dehumanizing. But for a man who's lost out on the experience on being with a girl/woman, it is incredibly helpful. It allows you to detach from your hurt and gives you a real pathway out not just with girls, but with other guys. The message of: "Here is a real description of women's nature, here's why you're not getting laid, Accept that life isn't fair, and here's some concrete things to do to make your life better"…

I think you're absolutely right about how dehumanizing it is. I like a lot of what's said on /r/TheRedPill, and I've benefited a lot from it and grown as a man. But the constant vilification is what gets to me. I understand the anger phase. I went through the anger phase. I don't understand things like calling an FWB a "Plate". Like a plate, that's it. This think you are having intimate sex with is not a human being, it's a plate. And if your plate breaks, get another plate. I get how that kind …

I see what you're trying to say. But don't forget, there are more women in the dating market than men because of desirability of women vs men. You're competing for the same few men. I see women reinforce each other as Queens worthy of good men in FDS. But there is no inherent fairness in life. Some people are okay with being alone. Most of us are just not built that way. So if the supply of desirable men is low and you want a partner, what are you willing to do to get him? That's the issue that …

On the phone. I met my SO online and I was not genuinely attracted to him until the first phone call. Maybe that could be a better dating app. Video or Audio only. No texting. You match with people, one of you has to video call the other within a day. So you're actually talking to each other and see each other's faces. There are objective and subjective ways to show that we don't have free will. Scientifically, there's experiments where people are told to make a decision, and we can know to a high level of certainty what they will do BEFORE they've decided to do it.
