I was gonna write a much longer post analyzing what we're all doing here finding content that makes our emotions go round and round feeling Sad, Jealous, Resentful, Schadenfreude, apathetic, hatred, despair, the debates in your head that never end, and repeat.

But what's the point in writing that analytical wall of text. But I think what most of us here want at bottom is to just have our hardships acknowledged by others. We hunker down into our groups and face off against "the other group"(including people in positions we want to be and society overall). All we want is some recognition from this other group.

I think it's a resentment against life itself for what it is we lack. It reminds me of these verses from the Psalms in the Bible told from the POV of a bitter, resentful person:

This is what the wicked are like—

always free of care, they go on amassing wealth.

Surely in vain I have kept my heart pure

and have washed my hands in innocence.

All day long I have been afflicted,

and every morning brings new punishments.

(Psalms 73:12-14)

I'm not a religious person, but there's a lot of wisdom in these old texts.

So my message today is this. Take a break from this cycle of bad emotions. Stop looking at anything relating to dating, sex, relationships, etc. for a bit. And whenever your brain tries to enumerate the bad things that these people X are doing, just remember had you been in their circumstances, their bodies, their experiences, their point of view, you would've done the same thing. Close all these tabs, find something you're interested but don't know how to do, and then look on youtube and watch how to do it.

Hope this helps you even a bit.
