Seems unhealthy but do you. It’s a constant reminder of what once was.

Something I wish I could go back and change… man, I saw my wife texting a male coworker of hers a lot, and I didn’t wanna be that person, so I let it go. Then one time, I saw her text him and there was no other texts. I said “why did you delete texts?” And she said to “clear up storage”.. BS. Open your eyes to see what’s right in front of you man.

Brother, you want her to share your name? You’re divorced, and you ain’t seeing things clearly. I’ll see you in the gym in the morning. Shape up!

Half way thru this. Bruh, GTFO of this relationship. It’s over. Open shit does not work, take it from me.

I think being cheated on is certainly a reason to be afraid to commit, and therefore it’s easier to be alone to not get hurt. Not sure where the other advice even fits lol

100% lol but if casual sex is the game, just do that. If anyone is resorting to paying for escorts to get that fix, sounds like an addiction to me.

Why you paying for escorts?

She is doing you a favor man. Yes, be mad. I was mad, sad etc too. But she just showed you who she was, and saved you a lifetime of frustration. Welcome to the other side. See you at the gym.

Hell yeah. What’s your first or favorite one so far?

wtf.. dude its crazy who we THINK we are marrying

Yea dude no. They’re so immature. I was 29 and I hooked up with a 23 year old, and the mind of that girl was worlds apart than mine. Immediately after we hooked up, she asked me to “rate her” sexually. Right then I knew “yeah this isn’t gonna continue” lol

Change your mindset. You are freshly separated; not even divorced yet. Chill man, you shouldn’t be looking for your next “partner”. If you want to have casual sex, that’s different, but you don’t need to be in a relationship. I’m like 1.5 years divorced, and still haven’t been in a real relationship. I still like to go out time to time with women, but I’m always clear with my intentions that I’m not sure what I want. Honesty goes a long way.

Respect yourself man. It’s over.

Best bet is to just forget about her and move on. You’re not alone my dude, but your hate for her is holding you back. Let it all go, and only then will you move on and be happy. You don’t have to ever talk to her, but you gotta not let her existence ruin your life, or you’re going to me miserable forever.

There’s a million reasons to not go to the gym, you just gotta find the ONE reason to get in the car and go.

Even if it is just a one time thing, you still did it. Now you know you’ve got what it takes to talk to women.

Dude. She’s a knockout, and you hooked up with her. That means she is not out of your league! You pulled that off, and so many guys couldn’t. Have some self confidence and be proud of yourself that you were able to step out of your comfort zone and do something after a divorce. Don’t sweat this. Just play it cool.

I’ve never looked at my ex social media even once since we split a year and a half ago. Why do you even know she’s dating? I would find about because friends and family like drama and would tell me “she has a boyfriend”- I’d say I don’t care, we’re not together. You can’t let her ruin your life anymore man, it’s not worth it. Don’t worry about what she does, worry about you.

Have you found anyone that you are like “damn, why not this person?” I’ve found 3 separate girls that I’ve been like IF I were to date someone, it’d be them, because I’ve found great similarities and interest, connect on things. But at the end of it, I’m like “it’s not fair because I won’t be fully invested”. I really don’t know.

Go get laid tho if you want man. I do that often haha, I just don’t have any desire to be committed in a relationship now. Casual sex and taking care of my self is now like a habit I’m stuck in.

2 of your closest friends?! wtf man. I’m so sorry that’s so messed up. Hope you cut all of them out of your life.

That could be it. I’ve worked very hard on me since the split, so I could be just not willing. I’m not sure. Hope you’re doing well

It’s odd man. I feel that. Like I have dated around, not as much these days, but I’ve had a consistent FWB for over a year, that I met via dating app. She is cool, and I enjoy hanging out, but the idea of no longer being “free” or able to do what I want, when I want, talk to who I want, idk.. it all is so scary. I’m too comfortable where I’m at.
/r/Divorce_Men04/03/24 09:15 PM

lol I have a few FWBs I keep in contact with. I still get laid, I’m just curious if people ever want something more than that eventually. I feel I never will want more.

lol same here man. I’ve been stuck in a “whore phase” for 1.5 years. Hard to break out of that.

I dabble with shrooms every now and then. Been a bit tho. Idk man, like I have a girl I’ve been casually hanging out with for a year, and I can’t seem to bring myself to want to have a girlfriend. Maybe because I’m so accustomed to being single now.

This is what is stopping me from a relationship. 1.5 years divorced. I like my own bed, my own apt. I like being an away team player, because I can leave always, to my dogs. I’m stuck in the single life, maybe I’ll have a change of mind some day, but I really enjoy this.

Yo we all been through it man. Pick yourself up and take care of your mom. Do some shit for you. She is not worth your life.

Shit man. It happens. Lawyer up, get your name off the loan, and never think about her again. You should be done with her by now, but you’re almost there!

That’s so frustrating man. No kids, etc, this should have been an easy split. I’m the same, no kids, and she tried to make my life hell as well.

No need to mess with the other dude. Your wife is the AH, he’s just her accessory.

I’m sorry man. I wish I had known about this sub a year and a half ago when I was going thru it. Everyone here is on your side, and have all been thru it one way or another. Keep your head up, work on yourself. I dedicated my life to jiu jitsu and fitness. Do something fun for you, learn guitar, get a motorcycle. Treat yo self!

She doesn’t want kids, but also doesn’t want a career? I think you’re making the right choice. I don’t want kids, but for someone to just not want to do anything wouldn’t fly with me.

Why would you help her man

My ex wife dug her damn nails in deep. It’s weird man, you’re with someone you think you know for 10 years, and you don’t who they are at all.

I don’t understand how someone can just not sign? My divorce was amicable, albeit we definitely had some animosity throughout it, but someone can simply just say no?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
