Well, how would you react if someone forgot your name ? If you like that person, you'd probably let that go right? and if you don't , you might hold it against them . Same would be the case with her. Talk to her , see how she feels about it. Apologize, but sincerely, not just because you want to sleep with her. See what happens .

I am aware of that. I did write a few lines in the end about it too. I almost thought of deleting the entire post just before posting it. But I then I thought, Okay,people will down vote me. They'll say I am pretentious. But that's okay. I'm sharing an experience hoping that I and others learn something out of it. That's better than just lurking.

I know. I've been reading about this stuff. But my problem is that I'll have to face these people everyday as we're in the same college. It's not easy to just forget about it and move on. I'll see that girl everyday, and everyday I'll see her scorn. That's what kills me.

I am afraid of being seen as desperate . So I am a college student with not many girls on the campus so the chances I get to interact with beautiful girls is in some events . In all these I've been improving but never really managed to score. This has caused people to think I am some sort of a try-hard. Now I would certainly like to hit on some girls that are junior to me by I am afraid if I blow it with I'll be seen as desperate. That's the reason I'm afarid to date anyone through mutual friend…

One great(and shown beneficial in studies ) way to work with this and stress is general is to *re-frame * it. If your hearts starts racing , palms get sweaty and have this strange feeling in your gut, you usually think something like: "Oh , I'm getting nervous. I hate this feeling.
