While surfing Facebook, a girl sent me a friend request. As I had spoken at a social event the day before I assumed she was one of the listeners .( I am a good speaker and the talk was very well received by the audience ) . The conversation with her made me realize how girls feel when guys approach them and what goes inside their head. I'll post my conversation line by line with the analysis I did to improve to my game :

Her: tq fr accept my req

Me:Now may I know who am I talking to?.

1.Strike one : Bad presentation .The first thing that turned me off was her bad grammar. If you don't care enough to write full words and proper grammar , then I don't care enough about you.

Similarly, you can't approach a girl in pajamas without having shaved for a month and expect her to like you just because you had the courage of approaching her.

What I learned: You've gotta present yourself well.

Her:No i dnt thnk u knw me...

Me:Exactly, my question

Her:I snd u req jst fb frnd

Her:Yup

Me:Yes, Now how do you know me.

Her:If u ve problm wid my frndsip dn u happly unfrnd me ok..becz i ve'nt ans.

2.Strike two: Explaining your actions . By this time I'm getting tired of her sloppy language and on my slight disapproval of her , she immediately starts explaining herself. I can hardly think of any behavior needier than this.

What I learned: Never explain yourself . You did something wrong? Own it. If you deliberately did it , then don't doubt yourself. If it was accidental, well, everyone makes mistakes.

Her:Hw do u knw me lyk tis

Me:Kya? [What?]

Her:I dnt knw bye

Me:Ok then.

A few hours later...

Her:Sorry....Mr P.S. actully i lyk to make diffrnt typ of frnds so i snd you req.

Again, Strike Two.

Her:Now...if you allow to me as frnd so accept my frnd req or rejected

Me:I understand. But I would not like to be friends with you unless you know me/or >have some matter to discuss with me. I have declined the friend request.

Her:As you wish

Her: Btw,,u ve over attitude..

Me:Thank you .

Her:Tq for wat?????

Her:I tell you its nt compliment it is cment ok

Her:Dnt take it as ur compilimnt

Me:I would take it as a compliment.

Her:Ya its ur choice bt its cmnt..

Me:Yes. I take it as a compliment.

Me:Now stop making a fool of yourself and try and accept yourself before looking for >acceptance from others.

Her:V.bad Yar[Dude]

Me:Really

Her:Yar[Dude] wats ur problm

Me:I don't have one. You do

Try fixing it.

Now I'd stop the conversation . Do not text me or I

'd have to block you.

Have a nice day

Her:Ok

Her:Its my mistak to snd u a req.

3.Strike three: Not knowing when to quit. It's obvious to her that I'm not interested . Still she continues to pester me. If she'd have quit at the right time I'd have some sympathy with her and might have just talked to her normally. But her constant badgering was the final nail in the coffin.

What I learned: When it's obvious the girl isn't interested, leave with grace. Better to leave then say something stupid out of defensiveness. Staying there would only make you and her uncomfortable and make you ruminate about the stupid things you said. There are many fish in the sea. Try again another day.

Finally, from my side, I think I could have been more empathetic with her. She was just trying to be friends or whatever. I should have put myself in her shoes. Anyway, at least I learned something out of it.
