I'd argue that discrimination isn't the solution to discrimination.

Nice to hear that you're doing it without anti-depressants. They're quite handy when they're necessary, but if you can tolerate life without them I believe it is best to go without them. If you self medicate with alcohol or something, it might be worth looking into that relationship as well. Get plenty of exercise and water :)

Interesting. https://www.circinfo.org/USA_deaths.html "Each year in the United States more than 100 newborn baby boys die as a result of circumcision and circumcision complications."

-I'm better off without alcohol -Don't trust unless that trust is earned -Daily exercise is a PITA but helps keep you sane -Stability is more valuable than chasing experience

Protagonists. To thwart them. Like the cishet white guys are the bad guys causing problems for the good girls.
/r/MensRights21/07/16 10:13 PM

I like this test, but kuku's is probably better: Does the movie have two white heterosexual cisgender men who talk to each other about something other than how to thwart the protagonists?

Move on. I dated a BPD for a bit longer than a year. They play on your emotions in order to manipulate you. Amazing sex is amazing, but it impairs your judgement. Stay away from her. If it cannot stay away, then distance your self. Don't be in a monogamous relationship with her. Non-mono all the way. She'll cheat on you anyway, so don't give her a chance to toy with you that way. Don't give her a key to your house or any control over any aspects of your life. Again, stay away. But if you can't t…

If you find yourself involved with one, definitely do research. bpdfamily.com has some great resources. Unless the BPD lady is already part of your life (mother, daughter, etc) distance yourself if you can. Otherwise you're going to get burned.

Stay the fuck away from BPDs. Edit: Their "crazy" cannot be tamed. You can try. You will get burned. Want false accusations of abuse? That is what you'll end up with if you don't play their game the way they want you to.

Let him be deluded about his religion. He makes good points and actively tries to avoid "corrupting" women just to get laid. Searching for logic in religion is foolhardy :P

@Nero :P I'm a far left liberal on most things, yet I find your work enthralling. GamerGate is where you got my attention and I assume that is what spring boarded you into the spotlight. Some of your other writing, like pissing on The Princess Bride, really isn't interesting to me. I understand that the more wild and crazy things you say, the more money and attention you'll get .. but .. My hope is that you'll stay true to what brought your work to my attention in the first place .. #GamerGate :…

If she is saying these things, you are in danger. Get a lawyer. Press charges. Either for sexual assault or for slander. If things go properly you might even get your lawyer fees back :)
/r/MensRights01/05/15 10:03 PM

False accusations can really screw with your ability to trust. Your ability to trust women, to trust the legal system, to trust society. I have sympathy for your situation. Are you afraid to ask questions because it might stir the pot again? Were charges dropped?

I'm sure you're well aware of what you "should have" / "could have" done to prevent her from abusing the legal system in this way so I won't rant about that :) I've been in a similar situation. The restraining order system is broken. Women get preferential treatment in every step of the legal process. Unfortunately the best advice I can give you is advice I have difficulty taking myself. Acknowledge that the system is broken. Acknowledge that there is little you can do to make your current situa…

If there is it will require legal intervention (money) and you'll probably have to pay for the test (money) .. maybe retroactively you can get her to pay for it, but I doubt it.

That may be the case. How do you suggest we find accurate information regarding race and gender populations in prison? Can we use these numbers to get an estimate? This table: "Population by Sex and Age, for Black Alone or in Combination and White Alone, Not Hispanic: 2010" http://www.census.gov/population/race/files/ppl-bc10/bc10tab1.xls From this page: http://www.census.gov/population/race/data/black.html With that census information and the incarcerated demographic information I get the follo…
/r/MensRights25/02/15 05:00 PM

I agree with you. I apologize for being insensitive. How could I have worded this in a way that more clearly expresses that women of all races combined are still barely a drop in the prison system?
/r/MensRights24/02/15 09:43 PM

Followup. Everyone knows that black men make up the vast majority of prisoners. They assume that this is why there are so many men in prison compared to women. It is racism. I think this shows that it is not only racism. There is another factor involving gender. Even when we take all minority men out of the equation, and keep all minority women in the equation, men still outnumber women in prison. Gender is definitely a factor.
/r/MensRights24/02/15 09:35 PM

I posted it here and centered on white men because .. white men seems to be the smallest male demographic in that chart. They also are commonly referred to as the most privileged race and gender combination in America. I could have phrased it better like this: "Women of all races combined are still the smallest demographic in prison, even when compared to that of the privileged white male." Is that better? Edit: typo

I do have a question though. In the FAQ on the side bar it says: "The Men's Rights movement in general may be considered a type of feminism." Care to elaborate on why one couldn't be MRM and feminist?

The letter is addressed to feminists. If you don't identify as one, then I don't expect you to hate MRAs.
/r/MensRights09/09/14 05:02 PM

I've personally been attacked (verbally) repeatedly by people claiming to be feminists once they find out I'm MRA. The feminist circles you interact with must be far more tolerant (thankfully) than the circles of people who used to be my peers here in meatspace. Also it is a common enough theme for people to think that MRAs are scum that it has recently been posted again here: http://www.reddit.com/r/MensRights/comments/2fvs91/how_should_a_rational_mra_respond_to_the/

If you self identify as a feminist, then the hate part comes in when I identify as a member of the men's rights movement. If you haven't noticed it appears to be quite a common mindset among feminists that MRAs are all fedora wearing misogynists. Is this not your experience?
/r/MensRights09/09/14 04:39 PM

I'm not sure you know what equity feminism is. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equity_and_gender_feminism I don't think an equity nazi would be facilitating evil.

In theory, on paper, feminists want the same thing we do. Yes, we know that in practice this isn't quite the case .. but at least it is something right?
/r/MensRights08/09/14 09:23 PM

Most likely, yes. But I briefly have hope that they might be able to accept that we all, in theory, want the same thing.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem that he has a simple option to just walk away from this obvious crazy. Walking away would involve changing the work he does, potentially changing his commute, potentially changing his income, etc. Walking away in this situation is giving up. Which .. might be the best answer for protecting himself .. but it isn't a great answer for sure.

How is this not a sexist comment from a judge? Yes, the man deserves hefty punishment. This doesn't justify our tolerance of blatant sexism in our courtrooms.
