1	How do I get my friend to realize that he needs to make some changes to his lifestyle? As others have said he sounds like he's having serious issues with depression. The best thing to do is just asking him if there is anything wrong and just listen. I know it's instinctual to tell him what to do or give advice but thats the worst thing you can do. You can't force change. They have to decide on it by themselves. Like I said, just keep being there for him and be as supportive as possible.
