Yeah man, you’re right. Continue being offended and acting reactively with emotion. That’s productive.

I’m agreeing with you dude lol Yes obviously they have a reason to be upset. There’s a reason I’m subscribed here

They aren’t interested in your point, they’re just chomping at the bit to blame women for something lol

One billion percent and same reason online spaces like this one slip into outright misogyny so often. I truly believe men’s issues are widely under addressed and ignored by society, but making it “us vs them” doesn’t help anyone and just brings out the pigs among us in droves. It’s not a competition or a zero-sum game.

I think part of modeling positive masculinity is accepting the reality that some people will push back, and respectfully and compassionately standing your ground about it whilst communicating your point.

And yet it seems my grasp on reality is more firm than yours, how strange.

I started realizing it’s all borne of insecurity and being afraid of being vulnerable. I give far less of a fuck about all things the redpoll teaches you to internalize, and I get laid far, far more often. Quality women generally don’t like psychopaths.

I’m not going to get in depth on all the deeper shit because everyone else has done a fine job of it anyways, and I think you know deep down what the truth is, it’s just a matter of fighting the cynicism and bitterness. What I will say is something that helped me shake off the misogynistic thoughts I found myself starting to be plagued with in my early 20s, and that’s this - No woman has ever gotten laid just because she’s funny. Or a good cook. Or really smart. Or confident. Or a lot of other t…

Trust your instincts and start focusing more on things in life that make you feel good. Stop all this analytical shit with the body language. That stems from being raised in the era of the internet, when seemingly all problems could be solved with a quick google search. That works great for fixing your car or comparing toothbrushes, not so much human relationships. That’s what your instincts are for. Next time you think someone might be into you, they probably are. Your subconscious is better at…

Find something you love or care about and get absorbed in it for awhile. Like, really life-dominatingly absorbed. Seriously. Everything will sort itself out from there.

When I stopped listening to their shit and actually started getting laid as a result

I know I need to keep learning, but I want to learn on my own through practice, instead of hiding behind a bunch of theory.

I just got involved with a girl back home, and I'm out of town for a week. How do I keep interest up? I was planning on just sending a text her way on occasion to keep myself relevant.

The issue is that we only recently started talking, and have been on one date at this point. I'm going to be out of town for a week or so, and this is a girl I'm interested in forming an actual relationship with, so I want to keep myself relevant while I'm gone.

If I send a text and no response is received, when is the appropriate time (if any) to send another?

Yes, it is. Thank you.

Alrighty, will do. I suppose I made the mistake of generalizing the whole concept based on a few common techniques. Thanks!

Okay, thank you. I definitely understand what you're saying. I suppose I'm confusing techniques with lifestyles.

What I mean to say is, is there a branch of seduction more based on getting women to like you in the long-term, as opposed to hook-up wise? It's hard to word what I'm asking. I don't have anything against the idea of pick-ups, I just don't want to have to act like someone I'm not around girls- as in making sexual jokes all the time, and things of the like. I'm not entirely sure how to word it

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
