Excellent response. This needs to be a post by itself on the main forum. Thank you.

Amazing advice and exactly what I came here for. Thank you.

Amazing read, thank you for the perspective. Physically I'm even better as I haven't stopped lifting and used the lack of appetite to do a PSMF and cut some BF%. I just need to use these last few weeks of lockdown to continue adding points to my SMV and Inner Game whilst ignoring my brain.
/r/askTRP19/03/21 03:52 PM
1

Hahaha I fully comprehend how dumb af I sound. Normally I would go to 4-5 social events every week to bury this experience asap, but lockdown. Still doing what I can, but brain's being a dick.

Experience is best teacher. This really makes you question who to trust on here. I used to be active on both subs and commented like a seasoned TRPer, but I dived headfirst in to my last BP fantasy with this one girl. I feel ashamed, but no post would've drilled the TRP principles in to my head harder than this experience. Hurts, but now I'm convinced it's the truth.
/r/askTRP19/03/21 03:25 PM
1

Thanks man. Lockdown makes it harder because I'm desperate to put in to practise my new skills/knowledge. I need to prove to myself whether I've really learnt from my mistakes or if I'm just bullshitting myself again.

Well done on your weight loss but I have to disagree. I checked your post history and you advocate against counting calories, which makes me wonder whether you tracked macros either. You also mentioned you have a lot of cheat days. All of this slows progress. It's true you will look like a god among men after 3-4 years, hence why I said you will only start to turn heads. But you can look pretty dang good after 2 years of eating right.
/r/askTRP03/02/20 08:09 AM
10

This right here. It takes 2 years of lifting and eating right to get to that level. The point where you begin to turn heads everywhere you go. Most guys won't dedicate 2 years their entire lives let alone most bald guys, hence the stigma.
/r/askTRP02/02/20 05:41 PM

In theory, of course it's stupid. But when literally everyone around me who's getting laid also drinks leading up to it, the question has to be asked. Curious to get perspectives from non-drinkers.
/r/askTRP20/10/19 06:10 PM
1

That makes a lot of sense. Whether we can or can't fuck them, we certainly want to, and that's enough to keep us on our toes and focus on ourselves. Similarly, they are girls and can't control their hormones; therefore, their inevitable IOIs serve as great progress indicators for our SMV and game. Thanks dude, your unconventional approach has completely eased my apprehensiveness. Have the girls who live with you ever tried sleeping with you? If so, what was your reaction?

Idk seems a stretch for a part time student job. If it was a dream professional position at a dream company then maybe it'd be worth it. That said, I'm clueless on what to say if they ask whether I have a gf. I currently have no gf or plates and just came out of a long monk mode. Any ideas?
/r/askTRP02/09/19 03:58 PM
1

At first I thought wtf but you may be on to something. There are a lot of hot women in my workplace (especially the managers, damn). I'm not used to being surrounded by so many hot women, so it's motivation for me to stay dedicated to lifting and eating right. Plus I need to get comfortable being around/talking to HB8+ chicks especially after coming out of monk mode.

Thank you, I've saved your comment. I did have one or two advances on me today and just laughed it off, not because I avoided flirting, but because I've been in monk mode for months and kinda forgot how to lol. That said, I'll avoid practising with my colleagues.
/r/askTRP01/09/19 08:04 PM

I would never gamble my professional career on a workplace dominated by women. I enjoy this job itself, might as well see what lessons can be learned here.
/r/askTRP01/09/19 04:47 PM

Yep already had a moment like that today. One of the Italians with a strong accent and basic working English got quite offended because I didn't hear her clearly. She snapped "don't you speak English". I just ignored it. I'll try to avoid mixing emotions with work.
/r/askTRP01/09/19 03:54 PM
3

Nah it's not professional. This is just a part-time gig at a bakery to help see me through my degree. But I'll be here full-time for a few weeks before semester starts. That volatile and unpredictable nature of women is something I've heard about too often and is exactly why I made this post. Already I'm seeing certain women being overly nice and others being bitches. It's just not the consistent no BS attitude guys usually have.

Check the most recent comment, guy just advised me to carry a knife, see why I need to take everything on here with a grain of salt? But I hear you bro, what you say makes sense and from experience, doesn't result in conflict.

This is spot-on. I look at them then continue looking straight ahead, it seems to be the safe middle ground. But when 1 in every 3 people you walk past is a thug, it tires you out, hence why I made this post. Are you from East too?
/r/askTRP26/08/19 05:58 PM

Then you should know that eye contact with these people is like making eye contact with chimps. There's nothing to gain. Some of them are downright psychos and will go crazy over even a neutral glance (I've seen this happen to a friend). Anyway the advice on this post seems to be unanimous, which is to move asap. We're better than this.

I can see from your posts you're young and (probably) from the states. I suggest travelling to London. Spend a week in the South/East and try that textbook TRP eye contact shit in the hood.

Thanks. I had a quick read of your recent post on asktrp and it sounds like we're in a similar boat. Our lives haven't even started. Hopefully this time next year we're both living in better places bro.

Being a beta all my life has actually helped me stay alive and do pretty well in school. It's only the last year since I started hitting the gym and spending more time outdoors that this area has begun bothering me. I just graduated and would have been moving out next month, however I got accepted in to a course in a nicer part of London which will greatly boost my career prospects. Just one more year man then I'm gone.

Thought so, guessing near Barking. Yep. It's truly a shit hole. Just the other day my boy was out on a date with his girl. She snapped over some other boy staring her down from another table. Long story short, it escalated in to cars coming down, masked guys with knives, and my boy getting run over. How can a fucking date escalate in to a gang war?! There's no future here bro, getting out asap.

Props for getting out bro. I live eastwards from Finsbury Park, where things certainly don't get better. You must be loving Brighton. Definitely looking at the nicer parts of London (if I get a good enough grad job), otherwise I'm getting out of London, pronto.

Thanks bro, will keep that in mind. Looking to move out within a year anyway, I've had enough.

Yeah this is why I made sure to mention London. A lot of the advice on here sounds like it's aimed towards middle class surburbs in the states. Only those who've been/live here know the true reality.

You still withhold your experience, I truly am beginning to wonder why. Seems like I won't learn anything valuable from you. You seem content in resorting to a bickering contest without putting forth any real arguments. Sounds like you're still in your anger phase. I'll take no part thanks.

...to see that this is a fair association. Exactly, association. Correlation does not equal cause. You can still lift and eat right after a day in the office. Just like you can eat shit food and play videogames all day while being a successful business owner. You choose your own fate. You on the other hand have already admitted you have 0 experience I've interned at several multinational corporations and have 1.5 years experience in different office environments. Sorry OP but reading some of your replies to these comments from experienced folk, you just seem like another angry young man who doesn't know what he's talking about. You seem to vehemently advocate against corporate jobs despite not even having relevant experience. I mostly just see you generalising all office jobs everywhere as being in a cubicle taking orders. You also seem to criticise the ridiculously high salaries from these jobs by repeatedly associating office workers with being beta fa…

I read your whole comment, your story is inspirational and you should write a post about it one day. I completely agree, video games have prevented me from becoming the man I always dreamed of becoming. Glad you're in a better place man.

I put over 750 hours in to Overwatch over the last 2 years and I wholeheartedly agree with this post. My PS4 is currently packed up but I've unpacked it on impulses before. It's an addiction I'm constantly battling. However, as my body is improving from the lifting, I'm gaining more confidence to go out and explore the world as if real life is a videogame in itself. I believe videogames are potentially the worst thing to have happened to the modern generations. It doesn't help that they are gett…

Exactly why my original comment stated that the guy wouldn't have gotten anywhere by being a silent creep. You're thinking in the extremes. Nobody said be a monk who lives in the gym and take a vow of silence. Self-improvement is all-encompassing including good social skills, which is why approaching is always encouraged here, and communication books are often recommended.

While in my early phases of TRP I was nothing special in the looks department and barely started lifting. Yet I got approached in a bar and the chick told me straight up she was looking to get smashed. I later found out she broke up with her bf earlier that day. No wonder. My point is that these anomalies do occur, but that's all they are, anomalies. It doesn't mean I had game or the fat guy in the field report has game, we were both just in the right place at the right time. I'd rather take the…

Honestly this sounds more like PUA. From your description your friend doesn't seem to do much to improve himself, which is what TRP is all about. He seemed to have rolled the right circumstances to be able to pull (i.e. a party with singles who likely got envious from seeing married couples, along with alcohol). What's to say he can pull in a more neutral situation? That said, it's also true that he wouldn't have gotten anywhere by just being a silent creep, showing the power of social skills. B…

Complete agree with this. I use sensual massages as a palliative solution (helps with muscle soreness too). It keep me sane especially while cutting because I know it takes a long time to sculpt an attractive body. I used to use escorts but a good masseuse leaves me more satisfied. However, I do not consider their services a replacement for solid game and attraction. I believe we should all strive to become the best version of ourselves and have a taste of abundance. I would hate to lie on my de…

No offence to OP but it's scary to see how deluded one can get after swallowing TRP, to the point where they ignore blatant red flags and feel they've reached the level of an adviser. It happens to us all and it's a reminder to myself first and foremost. OP, I hope you heed the advice of the other comments and see this situation for what it really is. Good luck.

I thought the TL;DR was going to be: lift to get respect. But I don't know what to take away from this post.

Watch AMS' first ever video on YouTube. That episode is gold and especially relevant to this field report.

Mini field report. I met a German girl last weekend at a convention. She was quite the intellectual and had already written and published a 400 page book before turning 18. She was quick to open up about her past which was unusual, and I could tell that she carried a lot of emotional baggage. Her signals were confusing af though e.g. left me randomly, followed me randomly, wouldn't answer some questions properly, other times wouldn't stop talking. What really weirded me out was when another girl…

Yeah every race has fat/chubby girls but it stands out a lot among the British because they still wear clothing suited for slim girls. You often see 5s masquerading as 8s. It's just cringe.

Great answer, thank you for going so in-depth. This is why I feel like some of the gaming tips on here can make someone seem so outlandish in some places outside of the states and sets you up to be a creep. I feel like gaming women requires more structure here e.g. needing mutual friends or social events. I don't drink so nightclubs aren't my thing. That being said, because women's signals are so confusing here, I feel like there are relatively few guys putting work in to their SMV. Defeatist me…

Lurking TRP is not the same as swallowing the pill. I lurked here since a year ago but only began implementing this stuff about 5 months back. If you've been here since you were 14, surely you're jacked af?

I don't believe you have necessarily stopped growing. But let's say you have. The only short guys who I've seen absolutely killing it with women have also been black. Very rarely have I seen short white or Asian guys succeed. When I went to school, there were some short black guys in the year below me who basically ran the school. They had connections and nobody dared stand up to them including teachers. Their frame was rock solid and they had fame, status and money. I don't even need to talk ab…

No you ain't fucked. My mum and dad are both short - mum around 5'5 and dad around 5'8 or shorter. Yet I'm 5'9 and my older brother is 6 foot. My parents often tell us how we look a lot like our grandparents. Genetics work in weird ways man. Also you're assuming that height growth stops when hair kicks in. I don't know where you got this from, it's simply not true.
/r/askTRP23/02/19 01:10 AM

A guy I went to school with at 16 was around your height. He had a major growth spurt shortly after and got to nearly 6 foot by the time he was 18. Weirdest shit I'd seen, puberty works in strange ways.

This. The number of women in the world is unfathomable and is always the last resort to remind myself of abundance. Hell, even seeing a room full of 100 women is enough.

I think it does depend on where you are from. I'm from the UK and places like London and Manchester are heavily multicultural. You do still see many communities keeping to themselves, but there are also plenty of Asians brought up with non-Asians and they continue in to adulthood mixing with everybody. It's part of the reason why mixed couples exist (one of my best female friends from childhood is Pakistani and is married to a white dude). But yeah I hear you, every socially adept ethnic minorit…

I agree in that they see inadequacy when looking at me. A small minority of them are still cool and I keep in touch, but like I said, there were other greater reasons why I cut off the majority. Just read my last post. The unanimous reply was to move on but in a cool manner i.e. not appearing too standoffish.

Thanks, I won't burn bridges with my family, but my old friends gave me a whole host of other shit for which I had to move on (see my last asktrp post). It's great to hear from someone who knows where I'm coming from. Being told horrible shit by the ones you love really messes with the head. Right now my job offer from autumn is what's keeping me going, as well as the changes I'm seeing from lifting.

I've been in an almost identical situation; check out my latest post on asktrp from 2 days ago. I got a lot of great responses which may also apply to you. Long story short, I was never gonna get laid with my old friends. Their life was limited to video games, anime and eating out with each other. I've just been lifting, eating right and doing things solo since and have been much happier.

Great to hear I'm not the only one. And yeah I've met some cool religious people who stay in their lane and preach by example, however my old friends went red alert if anyone went even mildly astray. In their eyes they are doing me a favour and saving me from eternal damnation. In reality they were a bunch of sheeple who followed the opinion of the ring leader. If the ring leader told them to boycott someone because they liked a picture showing a girl's cleavage, they would all oblige. On top of…

They definitely won't roast on this occasion. In their eyes I have gone astray from religion and they will drop subtle remarks to 'open my eyes' as though they're on a mission to save me. They've done it before and it's very patronising. If you were from a South Asian or Muslim background, you'd know what I'm talking about. I appreciate your point of view, and I agree, being overly sensitive or having too much pride can burn bridges with valuable people. But in this case they will only do me mor…

Good questions but I'm not worried about either. I won't lose out on anything if they hold it against me because they can't offer anything of value anymore. Nor am I worried about lies since my new social circle is growing every week and is independent of their influence. It's just anxiety because there are so many of them (12-15 in an active group chat) and I've known them to backbite me before. They have also gaslighted me many times in to thinking I am evil just for living life the way I want…

Huge respect for you man. Ignore the autists on here - they pop up everywhere nowadays and are becoming a real problem on asktrp as well. Hell, one will probably pop up here on this comment. Your post resonates with me because I'm the same age, have a similar appearance, and I'm at a similar point on my TRP journey as you. Way to misinterpret. I have huge respect for those who cold approach in public. But to rely only on that? It's a pretty depressing thought given its relatively low success rate. Thankfully some of the other comments have provided a multitude of ways to meet women in more comfortable environments.

Couldn't have put it better myself. However I get the gist that the majority of TRP users (at least the successful ones) have graduated or are well past college age yet are still slaying. I've read countless field reports of guys who have been divorce raped in their 30s but have managed to turn their lives around. It sucks to not have found TRP in my teens. I sometimes fantasize about how wonderful life would have been if I did, but as the saying goes: better late than never.

Lmfao ignore him, you made some very valid points. One thing to keep in mind is that all of us who come to TRP come from very different starting points e.g. my previous friends were extremely religious BPers to the point where even talking to girls was taboo. Because of this I hadn't had the chance to learn even how to hold a conversation with a girl. 23YO and by myself now, I'm trying to build my social circle up from scratch. This is interesting because I recognise that my 'filter' is off around old friends and family. Haha reminds me of the time I convinced a girl I was the descendant of an Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh, and yes this was at a bar. The characters in 'How I Met Your Mother' also game women in a similar fashion. Sucks we have to dumb ourselves down to such a level but hey it works.

I agree, one of my female coursemates has been a good friend of mine for years and is one of the most mature and intelligent people on my course. But even she reacts positively when spoken to like a little girl.

I can see where you are coming from and I agree to an extent - I had a reason to approach them which removed much of the awkwardness. However, many of them reacted pleasantly even before I mentioned I was part of the bake sale. This was because I approached them with the confidence and quirkiness I'd use when speaking to a child. It would definitely be harder (but more rewarding) cold approaching 100 women outside of a sales job. As a sidenote, the experience also taught me that 9s and 10s are a…

Haha ballsy of you to approach couples, it's always hard to tell when the guy is an insecure bitch. I almost exclusively approach lone girls or girls in groups including yesterday, although I always catch the occassional beta giving me confrontational looks from afar.

Have you ever heard of ashwaghanda? It's what comes up when I type in kratom on Amazon UK. Apparently ashwaghanda reduces symptoms of stress and anxiety.

Thanks, I'll look in to it. I've been taking caffeine pills, and while they're great for focus and keeping conversations going, my approach anxiety creeps up.

I thought I had anxiety, however even when I'm talking to somebody I'm comfortable with, my words seem to get lost in the air. I'll give your suggestions a go, thanks!

I came from a very socially awkward group of friends whose hobbies did not extend far beyond eating out and playing video games together. Most of them were ultra religious and couldn't hold a conversation with a girl, with at least half looking to get married by 23. Meanwhile, I developed oneitis for every crush I've had since I was a teen. I was always the rebellious one in the group: I would get mocked for packing up my PS4, for opposing the popular opinion, or for trying to get my dating life…

Haha I did go to a Cuban dance class recently which had more energy and younger girls than the typical salsa class. Will keep my eyes peeled for raves.
/r/TheRedPill04/02/19 02:51 PM

Yes definitely felt weird, but towards the end I met some cool international students who came to watch the Superbowl so there was a silver lining. I'll probably go back to weekly salsa classes, but it was interesting to see theory confirmed irl.

Yeah I just wanted to throw myself in to the deep end. Good point.

As I said in my post, my experience confirmed the theory I read on here. I'm not preaching anything new, lol.

As others have mentioned, well done for approaching. I'm at a similar point on my TRP journey as you - the point where I put theory on the back burner and work on approaching and making solid eye contact. You're absolutely right in that there is a small window of opportunity after she gives IOIs and that's it. It's a lesson I need to remind myself of often. Good luck going forward.

Only issue is I'm living with my parents until I graduate this summer; rent in London is extortionate.

You literally just heard logistics and you already made your mind up that I don't sound like a man? Anyway, I'm pursuing as many hobbies as my timetable can fit. I'm not going to stop gaming women until I wake up one day and suddenly feel I've become 'a man', whatever the fuck that's supposed to mean. I will game while I improve myself, and learn from my failures like I learned from the other comments on this post. Thanks.

If things do spark up again, I'll just say my contacts got erased, no big deal. I mainly deleted it because I have an old BP habit of texting during my lowest days. I live in one of the most densely populated cities in the world (London), there are too many opportunities to brood over this.
/r/askTRP24/01/19 10:32 PM
7

You're right. I'd rather not hear that she may come around, comments like that just give fuel to oneitis. There are hundreds of millions more girls out there to game. Merely asked my question to gain insight on how to game the next girl.
/r/askTRP24/01/19 10:14 PM

You didn't answer my question earlier about why I should keep her number. And now you claim I lost my frame. Not attacking you, just that you would look more credible if you could back up your points.

I like your response, thanks for explaining out the whole process. I'll probably give it a try in class while actively gaming girls outside of class.
/r/askTRP24/01/19 07:57 PM

I'll keep that in mind for the next girl. But I'm genuinely curious, how could I have benefitted from keeping her number? She's already blanked me once - sending another message just lowers my status in her eyes. I've ensured that any conversation would have to be initiated by her since she still has my number.
/r/askTRP24/01/19 07:51 PM
29

I agree. I once learned that it doesn't matter if the girl has a funeral to go to that day, she'll still make it if she's in to you.
/r/askTRP24/01/19 07:45 PM
7

Why would I bother keeping her number? Genuinely curious as I don't see it working in my favour in any way, but you might see something I don't.
/r/askTRP24/01/19 07:29 PM

Yeah appreciate most of the responses so far. Keeping this thread up so others who are also new to TRP can benefit.

I appreciate your different viewpoint, makes sense. I'll probably keep girls like her on the back burner in the future. And LOL nah my first text was "hey it's Pythasaurus".

I'd be glad to hear the minority's opinion, so long as they don't impulsively throw around words such as 'bitter' like 12 year olds. You're either a troll or you have severe comprehension issues. 'Collect yourself' buddy.

"Tried to play alpha and got bitter when she rejected you" Lol. What part of my post is me being bitter? I'm curious, show me. I deleted her number because of abundance. Besides, she blanked my first text, it would be beta to text her yet again. By deleting her number, I've ensured that any conversation would have to require her initiating since she still has my number. I didn't explicitly ask her out on a date. I asked her to join me when I go out. And that was after two encounters. You say tha…

Haha that's awesome man. Whereabouts do you go to uni? I'm in the UK and it feels like building rapport with the girl is a huge deal compared to the US. I'm sure same day lays still happen here though. But yeah, I refuse to live in denial because that means more time lost when I could be gaming other girls. I think social proof is extremely important, and something I need to work on building.
/r/askTRP24/01/19 06:41 PM

That means a lot man. And yeah definitely, there's at least 3,000,000,000 other women in the world. I study engineering but I still can't comprehend how huge that number actually is.
/r/askTRP24/01/19 05:46 PM

Yes I fell in to the friendzone trap too often in my BP days by 'building familiarity' like my friend suggested I should've done. Never again.
/r/askTRP24/01/19 05:27 PM

Thank you for the reassurance. Even the popular guys at my uni (e.g. my friend) are still BP in their thinking, but being unplugged only recently, their popularity makes me second guess TRP theory sometimes.

It's annoying being left confused after encounters with sales assistants. On one hand they are being paid to be nice, but on the other, they are still women with sexual urges. But fair enough, I hear you.

Or potential stab rate. But yeah I get what you mean. However, in other places I feel like the main challenge is establishing you're not a beta when making first impressions. In London, it's establishing you're not a serial killer or mugger.
/r/askTRP19/01/19 01:14 AM

Too right mate, it's summer here compared to people's attitudes
/r/askTRP19/01/19 12:37 AM

Dude tell me about it. I lived and worked in Derby for a year and the women almost expect you to approach there. My only regret is not making the most of my time by visiting Notts and other surrounding cities more often. Coming back to London however, nobody wants anything to do with anybody. I love having conversations with northerners/midlanders.
/r/askTRP19/01/19 12:06 AM
3

Yeah it's always a pleasure seeing another Brit on here since the vast majority of experiences I read are from Australians and Americans. I feel like there needs to be more posts on daygaming in the UK. I might start going to the touristy places where there's more energy as you suggested. Would still be great to hear from successful RPers who still manage to do well in the shitty parts of London.
/r/askTRP18/01/19 11:50 PM
4

You might be joking but this is actually a tip in some places. People are so fucking aloof and suspicious of each other here it's ridiculous. When I lived in the Midlands for a year everyone was much more welcoming and relaxed. I need to move.
/r/askTRP18/01/19 11:44 PM

Gotcha. I'm going to go out there again tomorrow and fail again, and keep failing, getting better each time.

This is true, I've had this fear since I was a kid. Is there anything I can do to work on it?

I lift. I don't watch porn. But you're right in that I haven't read the sidebar. I thought I could circumvent it by just working on myself. Fuck me for being so ignorant.

Nah, it's average size and I'm content with it. If I felt it was holding me back I'd just say so.

Thank you for the dialogue, it's super informative to see how these 1-to-1 conversations go from a veteran. I simply don't have wingmen or existing female friends/social circle like many of the TRP field reports but I'm determined to improve my game without all that.
/r/askTRP08/01/19 10:57 AM
17

be willing to look like a fool I genuinely wish I could flip a switch and feel like this. Your advice was succinct and very helpful, I'll implement the things you said, thanks man.
/r/askTRP07/01/19 10:31 PM

Thanks man, it's hard to break out of the old mind set. One of my biggest mistakes is reading too much on here but doing no approaching. When I read field reports I often see guys having wing men and already established social circles, so it's been difficult visualizing myself approaching without all that.
/r/askTRP07/01/19 10:26 PM
13

Does it really matter what I talk about? One of my biggest fears when it comes to approaching is the girl thinking "ok why is this loser talking to me about ice cream cones in the middle of winter when I just want to be alone"
/r/askTRP07/01/19 10:22 PM
26

Thanks, and how do I respond to eye contact? Do I hold it for a few seconds and smile at them? If they smile back is that my invitation to approach?

Posts like this is why I still stay subscribed to TRP. I feel like there have been an abundance of shit posts and disguised ego stroking on here especially since the quarantine. Thanks OP, saved.

I chose to wear a trench coat because I noticed not many others wear them. I also felt it made one look powerful/smart (used to wear a pea coat for the same reason). Alas, I joined Reddit and realised the trench coat is associated with neckbeards. My physique: 20-25% bf. Currently 3 months in to a 6 day PPL program. People say I'm no longer fat and I've begun to get compliments on my upper body muscles. Still a long way to go.
/r/askTRP12/12/18 01:07 AM
1

Lmao. Definitely losing the trench coat, but a buzz cut/shave is unavoidable because of the balding. Beard is also a must to go with the hair (or lack of). I'm just looking for how I can use my mature look to my advantage e.g. social proof, gaming women and so on. I feel lost surrounded by BP friends who still look 16.
/r/askTRP12/12/18 01:00 AM

Inspiring and informative read. And no, I didn't take it as you bragging in any way at all. Thanks for sharing.
