I often hear that it's easy to misread the helpfulness from sales assistants as flirting. That what may seem like IOIs is just kindness towards customers, which is what they're paid to do.

Today I was out clothes shopping. I dress well, lift and all that stuff, and I've increased my SMV a fair bit. Now, I was confused as fuck whether I was getting IOIs or just being seen to as a customer.

For example: walked in to a clothing store and received an eager hello and smile from a HB 8 blonde. From there, she was eyeing me the whole time while I was trying on bags. She then asked me if I wanted to place my shopping behind the counter so I can shop light. She just stared at my face while I passed the shopping over. After that, it was more enquirying in to what I'm looking for.

Similar experiences have happened before with probably 1 out of every 5 sales assistants I come across. The rest are just helpful. Am I reading too much in to it or should I have escalated?
