men breach the social contract every time they publicly slander women, nosy around in women’s business (beauty routines), don’t financially provide, and don’t call out other men for bad behavior. any man talking about how a woman should or shouldn’t upkeep herself is not one whose opinion is worth entertaining. the men that i respect who feel good when the women around them feel & look good hand over some cash and tell their girlfriends to go treat themselves. they don’t sit on the internet and …

you are a prime example of white fragility. you’re responding as if whiteness is being attacked because it was simply mentioned. she never said white people, nor anyone else sucks. she said white people on the internet increasingly use microidentities to join a minority group and avoid the guilt that often comes with recognizing one’s privilege. nothing makes her less privileged and she never claimed that she was. you’re projecting that she spoke about whiteness to manipulate people because you …

wildly untrue statement. if that was even remotely true Emmett Till would still be alive today.

it’s a quite common response, hence me calling it tired. that’s the way your response came off when you called her a “different kind of pick-me” for being a white woman talking about the way white people navigate race. she’s not saying she’s better than other white people, and that felt like a strong projection. we (non-white people) need white people to talk to other white people about race. that’s a huge amount of emotional labor & it should be encouraged, even if it inevitably makes you uncom…

the “women should support other women” response from white women whenever the subject of your race comes up is very, very tired.

doesn't make it worse. no male validation is worth breaking your back for. even if they are "high value" they're still just a man.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/11/20 03:25 AM

the fact that a man who visits FDS every day is turned off by women who think like us is some of the best validation i could’ve received. if being in this community weeds out incels that’s just an added bonus.

i saw a video of college students being asked if guys and girls can be ‘just’ friends, guess which gender unanimously said yes and which one all laughed and said no bc there will always be ‘feelings’? men destroy any opportunity for normal relations between any male and a woman by consistently sexualizing us.

anything that your gut feels weird about, don’t do. your world seems a lot smaller in highschool and it can feel like there’s no other options from what you’re being told everyone is doing. that’s not true, you can always go your own speed. also, if you’re into boys, always ask yourself if they’re doing as much for you as you’re doing for them. whether that’s grooming, giving attention, or anything sexual etc. it should be equal at minimum.

feel this so hard. i used to get so frustrated that my last boyfriend wouldn’t indulge me as hard as i liked when i asked him to choke me or hold me down, but i realized i trusted him more than i’ve ever trusted any man, and could get into bed with him and always trust that he was only going to love on me and focus on pleasing me. i was very conditioned by my first ex that if a man truly loved me he wouldn’t be able to control his urges. yuck, that was abuse, not love.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/11/20 07:07 PM
31

they’re so irrational. a grown man with decency should be totally ok with a child not being warm to them if the child feels unsafe. logical adults interact with children to make the kid feel good, not to focus on our own feelings. if you’re offended by a kid prioritizing themselves you’re 1000% a creep in some capacity.

wives are not ‘competing’ with young girls, that narrative is disgusting. hold the husband accountable. don’t shift the blame of him being disgusting and disrespecting his relationship to a girl who has no idea who he is.

Yes 100% to this. The book “Why Does He Do That” has a very interesting chapter about men who destroy things when enraged and how they never destroy the things that belong to them. They know exactly what they’re doing, never allow them to use the ignorance/stupidity excuse.

in my experience with men who pride themselves on being intellectuals, they don’t like when you’re a. not as interested in their niche interests and they are, and want to talk about something else b. want to talk about your interests that they might not be as knowledgeable on c. are more knowledgeable then them in their self-proclaimed areas of expertise. with a lot of them, you really can’t win. they’re oftentimes looking for someone to talk down to and make them feel impressive, not an intelle…

that’s understandable. i couldn’t tell if you were talking about 420 usage in general or the abuse of it.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/09/20 03:10 PM

people who make substance use their personality are embarrassing. i don’t think people should be ashamed of 420/drinking though if they use it in moderation. it’s a huge turn off for me when people are ashamed of things they enjoy.

i hate stuff like that. why can’t they just say that’s sweet of him instead of rushing to claim he must be the best, most worthwhile husband ever? it’s desperate and cringey.

as soon as i start living on my own i plan to get a gun and learn how to shoot. be that statistic as it may, i live in a city where i can’t have a big dog. if someone intrudes into my apartment i will wish i had a gun, so i’m going to get a gun.

thank you! don’t like that language at all.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/08/20 02:54 PM
23

and that last logical leap is where i disagree with you. men sexualize women who are fully covered by burkas. they sexualize babies and pre-pubescent girls. you insinuating that the sexualization of children continues because women just ‘aren’t focused on the right things’ is misguided and honestly naive.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/08/20 03:14 PM

it quite literally is. girls can wear clothes that show their skin and it shouldn’t be inherently sexual. you sound porn-sick.

whew. this was a sermon. i’m in the process of incorporating this mentality into my life, and just tried sharing my opinion with a friend who’s going back and forth with a LVM. she made me realize this mentality applies to friendships who just want you to validate pick-me behavior, so now when she asks for ‘guy advice’ i know it’s not worth the clutter.

I get what you’re saying but don’t feel like anyone who wears makeup in a professional setting has convinced themselves its their idea. I think the importance of naming beauty (not makeup) as power is the ability to have these critical conversations about systemic pressures that influence women’s appearance at the expense of our income and free time. Within these conversations, there are people (AOC names herself in the vid) who can reject that some days (wears a bare face), choose to subvert it…
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/08/20 03:10 PM

Yup, she acknowledges literally every point you’ve made and more in the video.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/08/20 02:43 PM

Not sure if this is completely sub appropriate but felt like the message was too good not to post this as a resource to any women looking for some inspiration or validation. Long story short, we do live in a patriarchal society that benefits off of the degradation of women’s self esteem. Loving yourself is radical, and should be first and foremost in everything— from navigating a sexist workplace to dating. Also, she does her makeup and it’s great!

yep, i basically ask “have you tried communicating how you feel?” and he laughs it off. it really annoys me because 1. i know he’s playing into the american sitcom trope even though my parents are immigrants and that’s not how our culture talks about spouses, and 2. why would you teach me, your daughter, that it’s acceptable for a husband to rag on his wife to other people? i love my dad and he’s still the most intelligent man i know, but quarantine has taught me that i could never marry a man l…

reading this pissed me off not because it’s deeply misogynist, but because it’s so idiotic and poorly thought out, even for an incel. honestly don’t even think it deserves a platform on this sub.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/08/20 08:51 PM

exactly. how is there not enough communication to make up with your words but somehow you’re having healthy, communicative sex? one of those things must be a lie

💀💀💀 thats so funny! my story is kind of similar, but i realized i was bi and the type of men i once claimed to be attracted to were really just the non-threatening ones. can i ask why FDS if you’re exclusively wlw?

they love dressing up their predation with phrases like “active seduction”. no timmy, you just have no social skills and have turned dating into a weird science experiment i don’t want to be a part of. leave me alone, creep!

not to gush over her but i’m a big fan. she’s still in undergrad and getting her degree in healthcare admin to give back to her community in texas, all while rising in popularity super quickly and gracefully + handling the loss of her mother last year. on top of being a great lyricist, sexy & confident as hell!

I called out my ex recently for violating me while we were dating and it was so so freeing to realize how my speaking patterns had changed and how he expected them to be the same. He was so shocked to hear "I'm not finished speaking." instead of letting him steamroll me like usual, or me saying "I don't agree with that and don't think it's true." when he tried to gaslight my memory of things. I hate him so much but that makes me proud :)
