I forgive her and I don’t even want think about if they did it protected or not lol. But anyways, not taking her back, I know we’re all human and mess up. She’s lived a life where her actions didn’t have consequences and she’s finally dealing with the reality of things now. I just hate seeing her hurt

Well written. My STBXW wanted a divorce because of that reason. The divorce hasn’t been finalized yet but 14 months later she has finally realized that she messed up a good marriage and wants me back, after going out and testing the waters of course.

The business started in July but has been profitable since day 1 with high profit margins. It’s a med spa. I am afraid they are doing that, but I work in private equity and will catch on quickly if something looks off. I have not seen their tax returns yet since I’ve been kicked off of their platforms, but I might be able to get it from their 3rd party tax person. My 25% could be worth a significant amount depending how the valuation is done, could be worth more than my house and retirement comb…

Thank you for all this insight. If things were a little different I would be more inclined to settling in, but she is not taking an income from her business and still living off of my income. Also paying for her attorney with my income as well. Things are just very tight. I’m also 27 and want to look at jobs outside this city, which I’ve only stayed in because she didn’t want to move.

Hey man, everything will be okay. You’ll get out of this fine. If she’s not 100% sure she wants to be with you, you just gotta let it go. My STBXW was one foot in, one foot out for months, she moved out and just kept spending my money, totally unsure if she wants to be with me. I decided to just file and she’s dragging her feet, still spending my money lol. It sucks but you’ll be so much better for it. Take control of your situation

Good point. I do love her, she’s a wonderful, beautiful woman, but she’s just stopped putting effort into the marriage. We don’t have kids, and don’t plan on having them anytime soon. Hell, we haven’t had sex since this entire thing started months ago, and before that it was even scarce. You’re probably right though. We could both be better off than we are now.

That’s what I’ve told her, and she just refuses to see it that way… I still have her phone PW but haven’t checked. I asked her to block him on all her accounts (personal, business), she didn’t. There was for sure, but once all of the excitement went away she stopped putting in effort. We were together for almost 2 years before getting engaged, engaged for 7 months, then now married another 2.5 years. Here’s the thing, I have a good group of friends that I can have those connections with, but she gets jealous of that. She has some girl friends but not a lot. She wants me to be her best friend and her Dad basically (she’s compared me to him in the past). For sure not having kids. Thank you for the advice and warning. I can see that happening, so I will make sure I’m prepared.
