I’m 27M and she’s 25F, married 2.5 years. Curious if there’s any other men in here that have trouble connecting with your wife on an intellectual and emotional level. I’m very interested in learning new things and being curious, but my wife doesn’t share that same interest and doesn’t seem interested in things that I share with her. We also have trouble connecting on an emotional level, which has brought us closer to a point of divorce (she suggested we separate, but we have not so far). I try to be very open minded with things while she is pretty black & white, which turns me off when we try to have serious discussion. I feel like we’re more like roommates with barely any benefits.

For those that have gone through a phase like this, how did things end up? I have longer posts in my history describing the problems we are going through.
