Lol bro I spent upwards of $30k on jewelry for mine including the ring. I wish she’d give it back.

Do not fuck her. You might catch something. But yeah.

Hah - yeah. Honestly, I was using myself as an example of what not to do. I forgave and diminished myself so many times for the relationship that I probably need therapy to learn how to set reasonable boundaries again. Thank God, I have an amazing family and some pretty awesome female friend - a couple of whom are been kind and validating. It’s been a wild ride.

Be like me - just keep forgiving her abuse until the idea of being back with her, while appealing, fills you with such existential dread and anxiety that you have to think about something safer like clearing a mine field by tap dancing.

Fixing it requires understanding the extent of the affair. Make her text it. Choose with your lawyer what to do with that admission.

1000% this. Do not make the logistical burden of her parenting your problem. Likewise you did yourself a HUGE disservice on the child support.

I really wish I could get a 10-year check-in on OP’s life. This cannot possibly end well.

I will never get married again without a prenup and a clean exit strategy. This game is rigged.

If she spends the night out, in my state, it’s adultery evidence which blocks alimony.

My wife’s justification is that I am so ridiculously charming and influential that the multiple trained therapists with cumulatively like a century of training and experience agree with me because of my overwhelming Rizz. 🙄 As a result, according to her, no neutral arbiter can be objective so therapy isn’t worth it.

Unpopular opinion - equal pay for equal work. If women are working 1 day less, pay them one day less, pay the men one day more, or give the guys their day off. The second you start playing favors (like “women get this but men don’t”) you’re going to inevitably have issues like this. Either an hour of a man’s time is worth the same as an hour of a woman’s time or it isn’t; don’t ask the men to work more for the same pay. Women have been complaining about that for like a hundred years.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
