I just lost every bit of understanding I ever thought to have about womenThanks. That's what I wish to do anyways. My problem is that I tend to not have a crush that often, but if I do it's hard. Also she was one of those persons where I just instantly knew it is (would have been) a good fit. But my main focus always has to be finding good friends and working on myself, so I just have to keep that up and maybe learn something from this experience. | /r/MenSupportMen | 17/09/21 05:45 PM
I'm scared of sexHi man, I want you to know that I understand where you're coming from. I think it is good if you don't have sex if you don't fully feel comfortable with it. And there is no shame in not having sex a lot or at all (even if pop culture/mainstream opinion might say something different). I can only advise you to try and find a person where you have a relationship of support and are comfortable enough to share your insecurities, then the thought of having sex will be more comfortable for you as well. | /r/MenSupportMen | 17/09/21 05:36 PM
10yo son, strugglingAs someone who was/is the son of a divorced couple, I might not be able to give you any legal advice, but I want you to know that I appreciate that you are trying to be there for him and wish you the best of luck with yout fight. Just try what you can to be there for him/in his life and be a good role model. | /r/MenSupportMen | 17/09/21 05:30 PM
I just lost every bit of understanding I ever thought to have about womenIt helps to hear that other people had the same experience. And of course thank you for the kind words. I think much of what you said is pretty fitting, so I'll see what happens in the end. At least I know for (99%) sure that she didn't intend to hurt me. A bit of distance until I had time to think and she had time to fugure herselfs out is planned at least. Communication is probably neither her nor my strong suite regarding these topics (if it was this whole Situation might have been avoided) b… | /r/MenSupportMen | 17/09/21 05:23 PM
I just lost every bit of understanding I ever thought to have about womenYeah, to be honest I don't really think the last word is spoken yet in this Situation. The ball however is in her court now, since I will not make any advances on someone who already rejected me. Staying friends is the pragmatic option anyways since we see each other each day. I mean, if she does that, I know where I stand that's for sure. | /r/MenSupportMen | 16/09/21 02:13 PM
I just lost every bit of understanding I ever thought to have about womenYeah, If it is this confusing already at this point it would not have gotten any better. | /r/MenSupportMen | 16/09/21 12:45 PM
I just lost every bit of understanding I ever thought to have about womenSee, that's something I was thinking as well. It's just a bit weird since I wouldn't habe gotten my hopes up anyways if she hadn't been flirting. | /r/MenSupportMen | 16/09/21 12:44 PM
I just lost every bit of understanding I ever thought to have about womenOf course I will make it. :) I just need to vent somewhere because I am very much confused. | /r/MenSupportMen | 16/09/21 12:43 PM
I just lost every bit of understanding I ever thought to have about womenYeah, she probably didn't want to expose herself to the risk of being rejected, however unlikely. | /r/MenSupportMen | 16/09/21 11:03 AM
I just lost every bit of understanding I ever thought to have about womenMight need to rephrase it: I would have thought if one of the persons involved knows that it is mutual and wants it to work, I'd have thought that that person would do something about it then. | /r/MenSupportMen | 16/09/21 10:06 AM
I just lost every bit of understanding I ever thought to have about womenSee, what I don't get is that if she "wanted it to work", and she was the one knowing that it is a mutual thing (as i said, i didn't know that). Why didn't she do anything about that? | /r/MenSupportMen | 16/09/21 09:40 AM
So much to unpack here. She loves him, but he has to make the effort because she's never had to bring anything to a relationship and she's not about to start now.My Problem with this is, that she seems to have some common sense but her friends are talking her out of acting in common sense (which occurs quite often in female only friend groups) | /r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen | 03/06/21 10:21 AM
