This comes back down to the debate of what is MGTOW, which is not clearly defined. I gained a completely different view of MGTOW from Barbarossa. I don't think he's a hypocrite. He pointed out the issues with MGTOW, but he never said he was against having a girlfriend. Also, nothing says he has gotten married. Even if he does or did get married, what if he left the Western world and moved somewhere with a different legal code? People can change their minds. Life isn't set in stone. Everyone went…

Isn't the solution obvious? Realise you might have a slave mentality and don't lower your value?

I may be missing some context, because I'm on a train without headphones. Honestly I've yet to find a clear definition of alpha vs beta and I don't actually believe we should use these labels either. There are obviously men that appear to excel in life more than others and past a certain threshold you can call this "alpha". But beyond that, there's no clear definition. What I notice more and has played out more often in history is slavery. Many men have been slaves, serfs, peasants or otherwise …

Stop consuming MGTOW content. Unless you want to go to Barbarossa, huMAN or the other classic MGTOW channels. It's a huge waste of time and is actually distracting from your normal life purpose. Much of our life is spent being addicted. To women, consumption, sex, validation, games, music, YouTube, reading, etc. Avoiding our nagging pain. Being in constant pain won't help you. You have to feel present and feel what life can give (and what you can give back.) What do you want to get good at? …

Maybe you're giving off an angry vibe and it's being reciprocated? Some people just have irrational triggers that can be set off. CPTSD is more common than you'd think. /r/CPTSD.

This is extremely important. I took a four week break from non-productive use of the internet and accomplished a lot. Have set a strategy where I binge social media for four days a month (on day three of this month.) Then I stop. It was mostly this video that convinced me to do so (it's over >1.5hrs long): Sam Vaknin: the TRUE toxicity of social media revealed The reason for this, is I noticed people at work cannot concentrate. I was wondering how someone that has zero commitments, lots of time …

Not sure that's the case. I was actually trying to steer the conversation away from blaming women. My view of MGTOW differs a little. I believe in NAWALT. But I craved freedom more than anything and realized that to go your own way, you can't pledge your life to a society that is self-imploding. I went through the federal taxes revenues of my country and noticed that >70% of tax revenues were coming from labor. Isn't it odd that people who work have to pay the burden of taxes? They give up t…

The issue is that Western society is doing what makes sense for its empire and what it thinks will prevent a World War III. I was thinking about this the other day. An underlying fear of this society, which it pushes to the regresses of discourse, is a nuclear war encompassing the world. Basically the view is that men screwed up everything, started two world wars, created nukes, etc. If women were to enter the workforce and run daily life, we'd all have a great time. Obviously it's facetious…

Ha. You just described me. I don't do drugs or seek female attention though. Think the internet has something to do with it. I was abused as a kid and retreated from real life to the internet at an early age. The internet doesn't have gender. I'm not sure what's wrong with removing chest and body hair though. You know this society doesn't pay you fucking shit for your labor. Almost half my salary goes to taxes and rent. I barely use any of the services beyond those provided by my city and becaus…

A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness…

Left leaning people do not like muslims. They simply use muslims to bring down the right (as racist, Islamophobic, etc.) The remotest chance of muslims taking over Europe would only be possible if the West collapsed or entered thermonuclear war. Afterwards there'd be no point in taking it over and Westerners would have no choice, but to unify. The fall of the Western empire is over-exaggerated. There's no competition and it has enough military strength to enslave more than half the world and e…

Do you have a historical citation? I'm pretty sure this has never happened. There are a lot of single men in the middle east (that no one wants to marry.) And during times of war (this is a relatively peaceful era) women normally outnumber men. Again. Polygamy is accepted (partially due to a prophecy that women will out number men until it's 50 to 1.)

Sorry, it was poorly communicated. I made an assumption in this post that the reader already understood male mother need and was actually pushing forward the narrative that MGTOW needs to return to the original ideals of the MGTOW philosophy and expand on them. Rather than continuing to preach about the wrongdoings of women. The thing about mothers is they usually love their children for no other reason, than that the fact that they're their children. Alain De Botton talks about how mothers, o…

Depends where you live. I was born in the West, but consider myself a barbarian and visit "home" for a few months every couple years. (My "home" refuses to give me citizenship and a passport though.) The middle east is pretty fragmented, so things differ dramatically even between cities within countries. The difference is much greater between countries. The region I visit is receiving so much Western ideology, recently opened domestic courts (probably the only enforced courts in the nation) th…

Get cheap clothes. It's like mosquito repellent Used to get asked out by girls in high school regularly, but I consistently rejected them (due to religious stuff.) I used to listen to "alt-right" conspiracy podcasts. About how the world economy is going to implode because of deficits and debt! "Don't buy stocks, because you're gonna lose your money!" Because of this, I missed the greatest bull market run in history at the time where it made the most sense to invest. Now that Trump is in the presidential office, he's increased the deficit and these podcasts never talk about deficits anymore. Why do people listen to rhetoric and words. Words are so cheap and…

Child marriages are relegated to Bedouin tribes living in the desert or some other rural farming communities. The thing that has to be pointed out is the Western vs Islamic definition of a child. Under Islamic traditions you become an adult when you get hair down there. Which is surprisingly early, but the human race would had been extinct if people waited until their mid 30s to settle down. Education and careers changed everything, because now people have a prolonged adolescence. John Gatto…

Do: Sign up for every single supermarket/department store discount card/plan. However, do not use your primary email account if you value your time. Believe me, you are getting ready to have plenty of “you” time and deleting 15%-off coupons from a store for feminine hygiene products will get old after a while. This is really useful. Going to use that.

The females started becoming territorial and violent when the "alpha" males (not a big fan of alpha or beta; better term might be "dominant" males) stopped protecting the nests. These female mice couldn't tune down their violence. They became violent and disengaged from their offspring.

This was brought up in a few psychological studies where they stated that Calhoun didn't control for genetics and his sample size was too small (he started with four male and four female mice.) However, I left out a point which is that the female mice began killing their offspring, pushing them out prematurely or simply ignoring them all together (which led to early deaths.) There's a graphic in the study which points out that the female mice overwhelming mated with a select few of alphas. S…

Depends on your circles. Mostly hang out with my extended family and they're all married with kids. There's a dull, but consistent pressure to get married. My great grandmother told me marriage is either heaven or hell. Nothing in between. I've seen couples in bliss. I've seen NAWALTs (yeah, I believe in unicorns), but it's so statistically unlikely there's no point in trying. I'll just go MGTOW and accept the "low social status". My journal is filling up with business ideas, goals and even if I…

Quality of water varied a lot in the ancient world. Some parts of Ancient Rome, Andalusia, Persia, etc had fairly clean water taken from mountain springs. Also, there were municipal water filtration systems in certain cities, but they were rudimentary at best. The concept roughly remains the same, charcoal, sand, boiling, etc. TLDR; history of the middle ages encompasses more than Europe, Feudalism wasn't the norm everywhere and other empires still existed.

The article pointed out the same thing about teenage boys. I've started to question some of the common MGTOW beliefs. I believe some of them are routed in an ideal that the universe exacts revenge. In particular the phrase, "women age like milk; men age like wine". This is only true if the man puts in the effort. Did Tom Leykis age like wine? From my (albeit short) experience in life (<30), the default in life seems to be poverty, illness, failure and rejection. One has to go above and beyon…

I haven't cried in 16 years. Went to a therapist and after two hours they said that it sounds like PTSD from childhood trauma. I was researching and there are a lot of books on the subject of trauma, emotional repression, physical tension, etc. Have a few coming in the mail. One trick I use is on Friday nights, I'll try to remember repressed memories and process them. My mind is usually toasted on Saturday. This psychological stuff is pretty interesting. Harsh... but find this describes me and some other less vocal MGTOW pretty well. Wondering what you mean by "disguising" as MGTOW? Isn't being MGTOW the conscious decision not to engage in relations with women? I could easily get married, but decided the risk/reward profile isn't remotely worth it. This is even though I gear heavily towards traits found in a traditional conservative. It hasn't been easy to go through the difficult transition of reinvisioning life after realizing I will have no p…

Go on a cut and reduce your calorie input. This works wonders. Try to keep it up for a couple of weeks. Regularly exercise to gauge if you're losing muscle. Get at least 100g of protein per day. You will be super hungry, have no sex drive and will come out much more level headed at the end. Some days I'm at 1200 - 1400 calories. Will bulk up at 2200 - 2400 calories for a couple of months before starting another cut. Cutting weight while continuing to exercise is underrated. Hopefully you will ga…

ADHD can be a result of brain inflammation. I started on a journey to increase mental efficiency by: stabilizing blood sugar levels (ie. No junk food, low carb), reducing stress, sleeping well and exercising. Do you have an autoimmunity disease? That could affect your mental capacity. I've been struggling with my own. Don't take this as saying everything is physical or diet related. You have to work hard at getting your brain used to new habits and ways of thinking. It's kinda like exercising.
