Don't know what you mean by this but yeah, how you feel is your responsibility alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 02:22 AM

Made us participating in normie shit? I used to go to guitar lessons and painting classes. My youngest sister did karate and beauty classes (which included makeup, nails, and hair). As for my oldest brother, I don't recall him doing anything other than English courses (we all three studied english when we were teenagers), and he's the most normie of us all (married and planning on having kids). There are a lot of other factors involved. Having good parents is a good start, but it's definitely mo…

Generally speaking, women have terrible flirting skills aswell but men are more desperate/horny than women so they dont approach. But they are TERRIFIED of being rejected. There was a viral video of a woman destroying a guy's car because she was rejected. There was also another video of a girl constantly grabbing a guy's pants in a bar because she was rejected aswell. Women are just as bad as men at being rejected, they just don't have to go through that.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 09:03 PM

Yeah they're definitely responsible but that is a simplistic solution. I can say as a man who had a great childhood with great parents, and who is succesful financially and personally, and while introverted does fine with friends, but still have no luck at dating, there are much more factors involved that just parents. But yes, they help a lot and I think it's a good first step.

Most men don't do this. And you shouldn't. How other people feel is not your responsability.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 08:51 PM

I believe is more than just parents: society, schools, social programs, other men, women, etc... but I see your logic.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 08:46 PM

It would be interesting, but being honest we probably know the answer: They're not affected as much as men. Anecdotical, but I have 4 nieces whose age range from 12-16 and they all already have boyfriends.

I really think part of the problem with men's social skills nowadays is that they don't have platonic relationships with other men, specifically attractive men. A lot of women like to have casual sex, with the most attractieve men, and you learn that if you befriend those men. It's crazy the lengths a lot of women are willing to go for those men.

Really dislike this ideology. To all the regular guys out there who have no luck at dating and read these types of things: it doesn't mean you're a weirdo, women aren't the ultimate moral compass, don't let this ideology consume you, because you'll get unhappy and will make you doubt yourself even when you maybe don't have to.

Yeah, most of the 40 yo men dating 20 yo girls tend to have a lot of power, money or fame.

Yeah like I said, some people are numbed to attractiveness, you need to live some time in a place where people are really unattractive to kinda understand what you have.

Dating for fun (traveling a lot, live our sex lifes, spend every weekend having fun) A. Dating to get married (everything from A plus things like planning things together, buy house, invest, etc...) B.

I go to LA a few times a year to visit my family, they live in the coast area, go and take a walk in Redondo Beach and every women is stuning. But also, I've found out growing up sorrounded by attractive people kinda numb you to attractiveness.

I go to LA a few times a year to visit my family. I would be FUCKED If I lived there. It's insane how hot people is, both men and women.

Good riddance. Dating apps and social networks are probably the most socially damaging thing in the last decade.

Oh yes, that's why I said in my original comment Oh agree, men should be informed of the pregnancy and decide if they want to pay child support before the baby is born
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 03:04 AM
1

Agree! a woman should completely and absolutely have the right to abort or not. Physical and mental well-being of a existing human being, regardles of genre or sex is above everything else, I'm not even discussing that!
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 03:00 AM
1

Oh agree, ignoring your misgoynistc ideas, plenty of men choose not to have unprotected sex with women, and generally support contraceptive methods aswell as abortion. If a women doesn't feel capable of raising a kid, plenty of men will back her up on not raisinig the kid. Shame woman don't share the feeling. And again yeah, agree, if you know that you’re emotionally, financially, and mentally unfit to be a parent then don't have sex, regardles of genre.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 02:57 AM
3

Oh yes, I always reach this final argument when talking about this. I 100% agree with you, if a woman is willing to have raw sex with a man who isn't her husband, she should accept the fact that she would probably raise the kid by herself aswell. If you don't want to be a parent, don't have sex. Completely agree with you.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 02:48 AM
1

Woman should be able to abort if she won't be able to raise the kid by herself. I'm 100% pro-choice😊 Again, all these should happen before the kid is born. At that point man's/women's mental, emotional and physicial integrity is more important
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 02:45 AM
2

So, the kid is more important than the parent even before it's born? mmmmh.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 02:39 AM
2

Being forced to parent while you're emotionally, financially, and mentally unavailable is a punishment, not only for you but for the kid too. Again, thats why women should have the right to abort without question. It's simple logic if you leave aside the genre and mysandric ideas.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 02:35 AM
-1

Of course, that's why single women who can't raise the kid by themselves should have to right to abort at no cost. I'm 100% pro-choice. And if we're talking about married couples, then I'm all for "the partner with the highest income should pay a reasonable amount for child support" regardless of genre. See how it makes sense if you stop thinking based on mysandry? "Men are pigs, if we don't punish them by law they will keep fuckin and fuckin a bunch of women" It's not a healthy point of view.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 01:41 AM
2

Nobody, women should absolutely have the right to have a free abortion/give up for adoption if she can't raise the kid.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 01:39 AM
2

Once the baby actually exists Oh agree, men should be informed of the pregnancy and decide if they want to pay child support before the baby is born. If you weren't informed during the pregnancy well that's your fault man, stop fuckin around.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 01:34 AM
2

That's the same "Abortions shouldn't be legal because women will get more abortions" level of logic.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 01:31 AM

Like when you go outside and see who's actually with these attractive women; most of these men are not ''chads'' Where the f do you people live? Attractive people date attractive people, average people date average people and ugly people date ugly people. There are exceptions, 1 in 100,000 maybe, but they're not the norm.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 01:28 AM
2

Oh sweetie, I hope I could live in your world where people don't blame "poor quality men" for the current dating state.

I mean in "the real world".
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/24 06:20 AM

Come on man. Average men get into relationships all the time. Just not with super attractive women.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/24 01:11 AM
3

Attraction is often far more complex than some checklist a manosphere article put together, its more often than not a number of factors combining with each other with the two people that draw them to each other Only thing I'd argue is that women are also to blame in this, with things like "he should make over 100k, he should be over 6ft tall, etc..." Modern dating is fucked up for men and women a like, we just like to blame men alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/24 11:13 PM
11

And plenty of mid girls dating good looking guys. Nobody says they don't exist, but they are hardly the average. Average people tend to date average people, attractive people tend to date attractive people, ugly people tend to date ugly people. It's only different when there's some kind of power imbalance (money, power, age, status)
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/24 11:08 PM
15

And that's usually why men cheat: A lot of women find "pre-approved" men more attractive. Just like a lot of men think of women as "prizes" a lot of women think of relationship as "prizes".

It's a really difficult topic because at the end of the day is about worker rights/ethical capitalism more than it is about sex itself. It would be like claiming all big corporations are inherently evil because Nike uses child labor. Or all jobs are evil because I used to work 48 hours a week in a soul-sucking job. I sell my body (brain, eyes, back and hands) to a corporation to make my living, what makes you think I enjoy it? At the end of the day we should listen to the sex workers and what th…

Sometimes I forget this place has mostly americans in it. Yes, I don't care to pay for high taxes it that would help kids and would save men from this situations where they basically have no rights and just obligations.

It's hyperbolic, really. But at the same time, it's hard to argue against; a lot of women here may have some kind of trauma stemming from past negative experiences with men. The other day I got a reply from a women who said women are at "risk of being abused/killed everytime that they go out on a date". Which I can see the logic behind, but that's a emotional response that comes from her past experiences, if you're constantly worrying about that, there's some unresolved issue that you have to de…

Toxic behaviour is way more accepted in women generally than it is on men. I've seen women who complain about her men being annoying about how they dress and how sexist they are, also forcing their boyfriends to "end your friendship with that whore friend if yours". I've seen women complaining about how controlling their boyfriend is because they don't let them have male friends, while they force the boyfriend to stop following certain female accounts on instagram. etc. I'm a man in my 30s and t…

It's more than that. It's basically women believing they're some kind of ultimate judge of personality that is so silly. Remember, women are most often murdered by their husbands. Just like men, women suck at choosing their partner.

I'm not American; I should have started there. In my country, when you're going to get married, you can ask people to be your 'godfathers' or 'godmothers.' These are people who are important to you or your partner, and they take charge of something for your wedding. This responsibility can range from something small, like taking care of the ring before it's given away at the altar, to something larger, like paying for all the drinks at the party. It's mostly symbolic, and depending on your budge…

I mean traditionally men cheated way more, back when a man was able to maintain 2+ households on one salary lmao.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/24 11:11 PM

lol no idea. My friend is completely opposite, his girlfriends are always the most attractive, smart and funny women. I remember being kinda angry when I first knew about his dating life thinking "If women like that paid attention to me, I would never cheat on them" and that's when he dropped another piece of widsom and told me with that mentality I would be the one cheated on when I finally got into a relationship. A few years later I was cheated on lol.

I mean, I have known him for 14 years, so I've heard a lot of wisdom from him, I remember him saying I should date overweight/unattractive women even if I don't find them attractive to gain experience, also if you treat your girlfriend nice she'll cheat on you because women don't like to be treated nice. He's basically the type of man who claim women like aggresive/douchebag guys, which to be fair I've never seen him really single in 14 years, so he's most likely right about it. To be fair, exce…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/24 10:42 PM

Yeah, most women absolutely hate it but the best dating advice comes from my womanizer friend who's never been really single in 14 years I know him, he's getting married next year and still has side chicks. He's been the godfather in the wedding of several of our friends simply because he gives good advice, that women would probably hate if they listen to it, but it actually works.

I have no idea what the sprinkle sprinkle movement is but I don't doubt that it's a harmful ideology that will only make dating and relationships harder for future generations. That's how every single modern dating trend has been born (as a response for another dumb ideology of the opposite sex), and that's why dating is exponentially more and more difficult for younger generations.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/24 10:17 PM

Most people, regardles of their sex, race or gender, suck at choosing partners. However it's not socially accepted to admit a good chunk of women suck at it.

Sounds like she wasn't your close friend. The friend I had in that job never said I was the best man she knew lol, she told me I was kinda boring and ugly lmao. Still was fun to hang around with her, I appreciated the honesty.

I can vouch for the "being around them day in and day out". Used to work for 48 hours/week with the same women, it's what made me close friend with two of them.

Doesn't helpm them to fuck, helps them being okay with life, because they stop putting women in pedestals. One way that people (even women themselves) put women on a pedestal is claiming they "are attracted to decent men who treats them right", which is a lie, most women suck at choosing partners, just like a lot of men will fall for a girl with huge boobs and pretty face, a lot of women fall for asshole men. Remember: men with dark traits fair better with women, plenty of studies have been done…

Yep, and they're honest so prepare for things like you're unattractive, you're short, she's way out of your league, you have terrible social skills,etc... Definitely a learning experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 10:39 PM
16

No, you got that wrong. What men need to do is get a female friend. And I mean a real female friend, not a female acquaintance. You start to hear honest opinions when they're your close friend, it shifts your way of thinking about women and makes you realize they are as superficial/bad, if not more, at picking partners like men are. Source: Worked in a female-dominated industry before shifting to software.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 10:16 PM

But if the other person isn't mature enough either he can potentially be an asshole/manipulator/cheater, which based on every woman who has "dated an asshole", seems most women suck at choosing partners (we men are terrible aswell) and have gone trough that. Do you think the power imbalance is the biggest issue?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 10:12 PM

Seems like a fair answer. Honest question, do you think a person who is younger than 25 shouldn't have sex/relationships?

It may be a cultural thing, but is the opposite where I live (Mexico), most well paid jobs are engineering, engineer jobs are in big cities, most engineers are men.

I mean you agree with me... It's almost as if I was right? It's not that hard to understand that men have higher libido than women in average.

/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 12:34 AM
7

No, when all your life you're being alone, you realize what you missed by watching other people relationships. It's one of those things most women don't understand since is easy for a woman to get into a relationship, to be truly alone for a long period of time doesn't track for most women. Women understand what is like to be in poor relationships since plenty women suck at choosing a partner (just like plenty men do too) and they tend to end up with poor quailty men.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 12:27 AM
4

No, even if women could get orgasms 100% of the times, most won't take part into it, specially becasue the % of women who find casual sex disgusting is higher than the % of men. And no, the 30-40% is with casual sex. Blame the studies you can find in Google, not me.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 12:23 AM
1

No, vetting on compatibility is fine. Assuming that a person is not compatible with me because that person never played with legos when she was a kid, and in my experience that's the normal thing, ergo means she's neurodivergent. It's a silly comparision. I can do it if I want, that doesn't mean other people will find it stupid.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 12:20 AM
5

I'm sure that number of women who would like to take part it's still way lower than the number of men who would like to take part. Also women in average have an orgasm around 30-40% of the times they had sex, if you think you have higher chance of getting murdered than to have an orgasm.... I don't know what to tell you, I know plenty of people who browse here have personal issues so I'm not surprised, but that comparison is pretty dumb.

Most women don't have the same libido as men. Most women aren't interested on having tons of casual sex. The sexual revolution original goal was to make sex more enyojable to women, doesn't mean it would push them to be promiscous, because most women don't want that. Is this difference on libido the fuel of the eternal discussion of why so many women sleep only with the top men. As a personal preference I don't think there's anything wrong with that. The only issue is you automatically apply the just-world falacy "if a person is a virgin is because there's something wrong with him/her". I know most women here have poor relationships with the wrong type of men, but as a men with plenty platonic male relationships with introverted nerdy guys, they don't bluff, really want to start families and are not interested on sleeping around. And to be fair, some of them do eventually find one women who would want to date them after an extremely long list of rejections.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 11:01 PM

Fair warning, specially if you're unattractive, not chasing nor looking activelly who to date has a high chance of you ending up alone. Of course being a man or a women is a default. I don't understand what are you trying to get with this. My point is men's issues aren't as discused largely for whatever reason makes you feel confortable but they are, which is damaging to the % of men who fall into interesctionality: poor men, unattractive men, minority men, men with mental health issues, men who aren't cis, men with disabilities etc...
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 06:38 PM

Yes, if you manage to get dates.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 06:36 PM

Yes, nice women tend to have no issues getting into relationships/having sex with less then ideal men, because of how poor they choose their partners. Nice men don't even get to put their foot in front on the door of a relationship. I see your point, but even a this level a nice men has it 10 times worse tha a nice women.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 03:46 AM

Some are good, some are bad. Most suck at choosing partners, just like we men. They're not some kind of powerful holy angel that are attracted to virtous men, ya'll mostly attracted to the wrong traits in men, just like most men are attracted to the wrong traits in women. We're more similar than different.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 01:26 AM
1

Oh yes, those are real issues. All of those things you said are problems which are socially accepted by society as problems we have to solve. Goverment and society are doing their best to solve them, the average person helps by voting, I sure as hell do it. That's my point. While men's issues get shot down And f u for thinking I'm at the top of the pyramid when I was porn in poverty and both of my parents had to work their ass off to give us a decent life to me and my sisters.

Probably some do, but not as many as women here think, and not as few as men think. As a gym rat who's meet a fair share of red pill bros who have absolutely no issues getting laid, being "red pill" is irrelevant to a fair share of women as long as they feel that "click" with a man (i.e. finding him attractive)
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/24 10:58 PM

Regulated? Women would lose a lot of sexual power. Not sure about that. Most countries where prostitution is legal are also strongly feminist. If anything I think normalizing sex work would actually improve women sexual power.

Do you think is the same for women? it is easier than ever to get to be sucessful as a women than any other time in history. Do you think women will understand men's issues with the help of therapy and other tools?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/24 10:48 PM
4

Oh for sure isn't a gendered thing. But society pays more attention to women's than men's issues.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/24 10:46 PM

Because for the majority of men, traditionally feminine women are more attractive, the same way traditionally masculine men are attractive to a wider range of women. Are there outliers? For sure, you sound like one of them. But for the average person, those traits are more attractive. You sound content, minus the misandry that you carry.

I got some bad news for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/24 10:38 PM

Because you're probably physically attractive. That's the single most important fact in sexual relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 11:17 PM

I'd argue women are more psychologically aggresive too. But regardless it's been talked before and people always comments the same a zero-sum game argument ("Men are more dangerous, so men's suffering from violence from women is irrelevant")
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 11:15 PM
1

This again? Women pursue/initialize all the time. If that's an alien concept for you... I have some bad news about your attractiveness level.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 11:11 PM
1

Again, that's irrelevant. Most people, women and men, suck at judging character. I understand you also have a "I am wonderful" bias to yourself. The truth is you can do everything right and still end up with a terrible person. I think your original point is alright but simply doesn't translate to ending up with good partner or attracting more women, specially if you're not good-looking, that's a 'just-world' falacy. But it can be great for your mental health, so I approve it.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 11:07 PM

That's irrelevant. The fact that those women exist and that they are the majority (ask your females friend/acquiantances if they ever dated a douchebag, the majority will answer yes) really means they aren't as "selfless" as they claim to be. It's such a weird way to put women on a pedestal, and they are okey with men putting them on that pedestal. If those tips are focused on your personal development, that's fine, there's more to life than women. But they're not something that will guarantee y…

Yes we know, women are god-like and pure creatures that are attracted to decent and kind men, unlike men who are pigs and are only attracted to big asses and don't care about having an emotional conection. Just ignore every women who has had a "dating a douchbbag story"! teehee, they're being silly!.

No, the "behavior that most people recognize" isn't the majority. Most people are biased by negative experiences with the opposite sex. Most men aren't womenizers, most women aren't whores. Most people suck at judging their partners character, men and women. A pretty face will override a lot of the thinking for some people.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 07:27 AM

No, stop thinking in hyperboles. There's more to a person's character than how smart she/he is. How you perceive people based on how smart they are it's really sad, but ain't my problem either.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 07:26 AM

Becuase physical attractiveness it's one of the most important factors in relationships, despite most women denying this.

I mean, no, it isn't. Genetics vs. memetics has been a decades-long discussion, lol. Since it is difficult to separate the genetic and environmental influences of a trait like intelligence, it's hard to prove one is more influential. If you feel safer believing that, good for you, doesn't mean it's the best outcome. Having a happy partner who knows how to raise a kid and helps with their needs, will be more important to me. Yes, that also means a goldigger will be probably be terrible at raising…

Yep. Personal preferences are valid regardles of your sex, gender, age, etc... If they're stupid, peple can laugh at them, but doesn't mean you have to change them.

Nope. It's upsetting that most women here have such a hard time admiting and still have their women are wonderfull belief, that's all. Men and women are more alike that you like to pretend. No genre is the good one. Plenty of men are extremely selective when dating a woman, plenty of men aren't. Same thing with women. I'm merely answering the original question, that's all.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 08:45 PM

Let me guess, you think idiocracy was a documental? lol. Genetics is one factor. Having a kid raised in a loving enviroment with a good partner where all of his needs are covered is also important.

Oh yes, women care about lifestyle aspects because they are smart, know how to choose wisely and plan ahead about the future of the relationships, while men only think "she better be hot!". There it is again!

Yes. As usual, youre reflecting how women see men in dating. We don't care that much about intelligence, money or status in a woman. Unless she's has something like 80 IQ or less, doubt most men would care.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 07:11 AM

Biggest example is one that even women themselves do: They don't care for physicial appereance, they are looking to have a serious relationship and they only care about what's inside, if you're a decent men, women will be attracted to you because they only look for nice men <3. Men are disgusting pigs who only care about ass and tits. As to why, I think is some sort of defense mechanism.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 07:07 AM

You know most men aren't born like that, we know we shouldn't approach because we grew up being reminded constantly by women that we aren't attractive. Women have absolutely no idea the amount of rejection less-than-average men take and the mental toll it takes. So, some men just don't feel like living through that experience anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 07:00 AM

That has nothing to do with being pretty lol. Source: I'm ugly and a lot of people think the same cause I have anxiety.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 03:00 AM

Not held accountable, but I believe women accepting physical appereance is way more important than they lead to belive, would help with men's issues. Also accepting dating is relatively way harder for men than it is for women, would also be great. Overall, just women being honest about the privilege women have on sex and relationships would be a step on the right direction and I bet it would calm a lot of men's discomfort.

Oh yeah, it's just the good old sexist idea of "men thrive in marriage and women don't" is so stupid, I just like to mention how much of a lie that is. Marriage is generally a good thing for everybody. Although how much of a good thing is, that's debatable.

The way women twist this is "Married men live longer because marriage gives them mental well-being" or something like that. I think reality is different, as a man with plenty of married friends, the main reason that married men live longer is simply because they have somebody who check their health constantly, sometimes, until the point it's manipulative and annoying ("Go to the doctor to check on that mole, or else"). I'm pretty sure if we also take into account things like doctor's appointment…

No, plenty of men are monogamous and aren't sleeping around and manipulating women to get laid. That's only the top men, most men, a lot of men who are invisible to most women are just looking for a serious relationship. I mean, it's not completey unfounded in the sense that there's a lot of people, men and women, who are looking only for casual sex. You're right about that.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/24 10:41 PM

One of the bigges just-world falacies women believe as a result of sleeping/having relationships with the top most attractive men, are "men just want sex, women want conections". It's such a a sexist idea that puts women on pedestal, but they are okey with that.

Could you post a pic? Most 5 guys I meet tend to be pretty monogamous simply because women don't play attention to them and when they find one women who finds them attractive they last years together. I think is the opposite. From most common to least common: Dude's loaded, woman has serious mental issues, just plain old's stupid luck. The only time I've meet a extremely ugly guy with a super attractive woman (where the dude wasn't rich), was one time where the girl had some heavy personal issues, don't know the details but she was friends of a friend of mine and all she told me that there was some family issues with their parents.

His trick is he's probably more attractive than he thinks but has some self steem issues. Pretty common in men.

The biggest issue that I see in most issues talked here is that people believe in "just-world-fallacies" aswell as "women are wonderful/men are shit" falacies. Saying things like "you need to be mentally well/complete/happy to be in a relationship" is a defense mechanism a lot of women have to deter what they think are shitty men. In reality, shitty men have absolutely no issues finding women to date, specially if they are good looking.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 07:55 PM

Social networks are ABSOLUTELY to blame for A LOT of current issues.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 05:11 AM

The biggest proof is when women say something like "It's your fault you can't get a women" but they don't realize it's the same the other way around. The fact most women are going to be single by 2050 is in BIG part women's fault, they just don't realize.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 05:08 AM

Problem is I don't think nobody is happy single. That's usually one of the lies feminism and mens right movements keep spitting left and right. Meanwhile, suicide rates skyrocket, and mental health crumbles more and more with each new generation.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 05:03 AM

Every movement has their extremes, remember "Kill all men"?. Hell, go to twitter right now and search for "#killallmen" Add that modern narrative is "you're a man, you have life so easy" when it's being proved over and over again (and ignored over and over again) than the average man usually have life way harder than the average woman. And voila, you have a generation of ignored men that are angry and tired.

Relationships are about sharing your life. Being with a person (male or women) who plans these kind of stuff withouth thinking how it may affect his/her SO it probably means that person isn't ready for a relationship or simply she/he's a shitty person. And btw, I've seen it more common the other way around: Women waiting for (attractive) men who do these kind of stuff and cheat or fuck around with the lover. /r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 09:18 PM

Debatable, the "fear that women have" of strange men its overriden all the time if the man is attractive in a lot of women, that's literally how dating apps work. Cold approaches worked for like 20-30 years back before fearmongering became so common with the Internet. Still works to this day, but only for the most attractive men.

I've tried it alone, as a unattractive man, I've never had the attention from women, but you actually may meet other men who want to drink a couple of beers and talk about their issues with a stranger, which actually makes sense when you remember men suffer from loneliness more than women. Overall it was a positive experience.

It really comes down to women will do ANYTHING when they are attracted to a man. Women have different rules for attractive/unattractive men. The phrase "Women will make rules for ugly guys and break rules for attractive ones" it's true, if you ever had attractive male friends you'll see evidence of this ALL the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 05:50 AM

It would suck because then it would make more obvious when you're ugly.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 05:34 AM

I wonder what justification did the people who believe that had for things like porn, strip clubs and prostitution being billion dollars industries and having predominantly male consumers. "Men literally pay for having sex, watching sex, they will pay just to be near attractive women, all at considerably higher rates than women... yet women's sexual desire is bigger".
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 05:28 AM

No, I would never cheat on a relationship. Sidenote, she'll get cheated on. Do you think she's going to date a sub5 man with no options? Those women get cheated all the time because they choose the most attractive men, a LOT of those men will cheat simply because they know they can.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 05:22 AM

I'd say It's pretty common around the world (I'm from Mexico and it happens here aswell). But it only happens to attractive men, as you can guess there's not a lot of those in this subreddit.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 05:18 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 05:16 AM

As you can see from the comments, women approach all the time, sorry that you had to learn about this the hard way, but you're not alone in this.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 05:15 AM

Some do, but most importantly we're honest about it. If we like a girl we admit is because she's attractive, we don't pretend is "because she has great personality". If we don't like a girl we just say we don't find her attractive, not that "she needs to have more confidence" or something silly like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 05:13 AM

Not arguing with that, plenty of women and men are shitty prospects for a partner. But I'm just saying women suck at judging character. You can be a good men and still be ignored by women, you can be a douchebag and have no issues dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 05:09 AM

Why do women don't try being mature and talk about those issues with their partner?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 08:33 AM

29.5% of lesbian abuse (by comparison, apparently about 35% of straight women have experienced partner abuse, with 98.7% of those being male, meaning exclusively male-on-female abuse is 34.5% of all heterosexual abuse.) So, women aren't more violent than men but women are almost as violent than men. Which actually makes sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 08:26 AM

Listen, you have a point. Thing is, women absolutely suck at judgin character. Why does every women have a "my ex was a douchbag" story? Every single serial murdered in history was married. Chris Brown has no issues finding women to date. I understand your point, but "the psycho test" it's just the women finding you physically attractive, having things in common, and not doing "red flags" things (which depending on how attractive you are, they can ignore those red flags). That's pretty much all.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 08:19 AM

Women are absolutely interested in men. Just a small portion of attractive men. I swear some of you don't even have platonic relationships with other men, when they are attractive men, women aggressively approach them. Women enjoy sex and relationships with a small subset of men, same reason why so many women complain of men cheating... they are sharing the same men. It's a fact that elude them.

Neither are men the ultimate judge of character. Oh yeah, I know 100%, we're are all people and we all suck at choosing partners. Please share the video, people always forget different studies from different countries have reached similar numbers. It's not only one study.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/24 01:55 AM

Yeah, plenty of men are psychopats who usually have no issues when finding who to date.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/24 01:54 AM
5

Some people think that this shows women are way more difficult to please in a relationship and it's equally as difficult to find a decent woman to date just like it is to find a decent man: A lot of modern women have mental issues, are abusive, control freaks, etc. This is however not accepted because it goes against the "Women-are-wonderful"/"Just-world" effect that so many people in Reddit have: Women are only interested in having serious mature relationships and are attracted to nice decent m…

No, plenty of men put a lot of effort in ther personalities. Plenty of women too. Plenty of men are misogynist and sexist douchbags (and still get laid with no issues), plenty of women are aswell. We're all people, whatever you think applies to one genre, with a few exceptions, it applies to all.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/24 12:06 AM

Nothing, I'm sure bi women are having a blast with relationships (tbf probably same a straight ones aswell)

Remembers rates of domestic violence in lesbians relationships Oh boy, good luck with that!

Remembers rates of domestic violence in lesbians relationships Oh boy, do I have a surprise for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 06:47 AM
5

I've said this a few times before: The problem with modern men is they've been feed the "women care about your personality, looks don't matter" bullshit, which WAS TRUE in the past when women basically had to marry to survive, but it's not anymore. Playing out of your league is the reason why so many men are having issues with dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 06:41 AM
4

Nah, they just have a very relax view on relationships. And they are successful in dating. It's almost as if women are terrible at choosing partners aswell, being genuinely nice, attentive or any other crap women say is pretty irrelevant to being attractive. And I've heard that same advice from women aswell, albeit just once or twice compared to a tonshit with men. So I'd say it's a pretty common attitude to have.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 06:32 AM

It's completely fine to accept the consequences of your actions if they are appropriate, but they aren't always. Which is what OP is saying.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:11 PM
-1

Yeah, it's okey to avoid uncomfortable situations. But as most things in life men are punished harder than women if they decide to avoid them.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 09:58 PM
7

Yes, if you feel entitled there's something wrong with you. If you feel you want a relationship, that's completely normal.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 09:45 PM
4

Yeah, it depends where and with whom you're sensible, but usually being sensible openly withouth knowing how it's a bad thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 09:42 PM
-4

"No, is okey for women to be scared of unkown men because 1 of every 100,000 men are potential killers!" "Men are scared of false accusations? LOL grow up you in.cel, there's barely a 1 in 100,000 chance of that happening" In case i'm not clear, any person who are scared of either thing usually have unresolved mental issues that makes them Fearmongering the opposite sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 09:39 PM
14

Every single time I've heard this advice was from friends who were succesful with women. Trust me, they are very well trusted by women, sometimes trusted by more that one women at the same time if you know what I mean lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 09:36 PM
3

True. The problem is men who are succeful with women aren't always "good" men, and the men who are being rejected aren't always "bad". That's why every woman have a "dating an asshole" story. This dynamic is really making dating worse for everybody, and is the source of so many modern dating problems.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 09:32 PM
30

Yeah, that's why so many men are dropping out of dating. Society claims they want sensible men, but having weak sensible man is usually a bad thing for society.

/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 05:03 AM

Yep, and it's a huge bonus.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/24 06:32 AM

It's well stablished women are the ones affected more by being promiscous. In men, it's nature and more common, heck, women aren't attracted to not promiscous men, ask 100 women if they'd date a 30 yo virgin men and see how many will say no.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/24 05:07 AM
4

Congrats on being attractive, that's usually not the case for most men.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 02:06 AM
4

I mean yes... it's pretty obvious. Looks are the most important thing (can't talk more about that since is 'in.cel content' and not allowed in here). As long as you're not an absolute and complete douchebag (at least be good at hiding it), being physically good-looking is like 65% of attraction.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 02:00 AM
14

Nah, he's probably good looking and have decent social skills, women like to pretend is the rizz when it's the looks most likely. That's really all it takes. Had an attractive friend whose opening line was you have beautiful eyes that's how he meet his college girlfriend.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 01:55 AM
2

Last time I check some women enjoy sex with men, dating and having kids. So, no I don't think this will affect society. We already have nuns and things like that, so nothing new.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 03:13 AM
21

What are you talking about? the Schrödinger men are real: both simultaneously an incel who has never dated a women and a piece of shit who cheats and have abusive relationships with women.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 03:11 AM
6

He absolutely gave shitty examples, this ones are better: a man saying "All women are the same" are an incels. a woman saying "All men are the same", means she's smart and understand men. A man not wanting an overweight women is a superficial piece of shit A women wanting a 6' tall men mean she knows what she wants. A man cheating on a woman it's a piece shit A woman cheating on a man, probably wasn't feeling happy in the relationship and he wasn't taking care of her. etc...
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 03:08 AM
-1

Men's standards are lower than women, because most men are craving to have their emotional/physicial needs met, plus most men have little to know prospects unlike most women. This has been talked about houndreds of times here.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/24 04:44 AM
1

In real life most people don't care if that's your preference. Actually a lot of women will find disgusting promiscous men.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/24 04:40 AM
6

Lol yep. You've been with 6 partners at age 35? Ok. You've been with 120 partenrs at age 21? Fuckin ewww. A promiscous girl is like a man who pays for sex. A lot of people of the opposite sex will find it absolutely disgusting.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/24 04:28 AM
24

I remember a quote I read some years ago "if the average attractie woman were a average man, she would be an lncel". A lot of women have really shitty social skills.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/24 04:25 AM
1

Yeah, that's why no woman out there have a "my ex is an asshole" story or no women gets cheated on ever, you're only attracted to nice men, assholes men never date women lol. That's the just world falacy, women also suck when choosing a prospect, usually are attracted to the wrong things, just like men are aswell. You're not better or worse - that's my point, being nice is not as important as women make it out to be, saying that is more like a defense mechanism you have.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/24 04:19 AM
1

Basically this. My friend who has never been single in 12 years and always has at least 1 girlfriend and 1 side chick it's going to give you good advice. The guy who spends his life in reddit probably it's going to give you shitty advice.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/24 07:04 PM
5

Good for you, that's not the point. The point is a lot of "nice" guys are genuinely nice, this just-world falacy that most women have is stupid.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/24 06:58 PM
10

Ya'll keep ignoring that a lot of those men are being constantly told by other people how "nice" they are.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/24 03:40 PM
1

Oh sweetie, you'd unalive yourself if you were a man. Focusing in one person when you're looking who to date, is the secret to settling in an unhappy relationship, see, men don't have a big pool where to choose from, that's women's experience. That's also why "players" tend to be more succesful with women.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/24 03:20 PM
4

No, it's really just another women-are-wonderful/just-world falacy women believe. Remember most serial killers and rapist were in relationships. In reality there's not a lot of relation between "being your best version" and "being attractive to women". Women like to think that to feel more secure/content with how the world works.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/24 03:13 PM
9

Biggest issue we have is that women believe in the women-are-wonderful effect and just-world falacy, which is why I don't think women would ever accept the reality of a lot of things. It's why horoscopes and spiritual issues are so popular with women.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/24 11:21 PM
1

If you're good looking, everything else isn't as important as they say it is. As long as you're not into some creepy shit, you'll be fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/24 11:13 PM

Yeah. 5'11 guy extremely muscular, has competed in bodybuilding competencies. Listens to Andrew Tate and some finance bros Cheated every women he's ever been with He's sexist AF and always share sexy pics of his fwb (ilegal in my country, so I asked to stop showing them to me) Not that bright, only finished highschool Has dated lawyers and doctors Got bored out of tinder because there's "a lot of fatties" Meet his last girlfriend she told me "he's so nice and sweet". lmao. he ended up cheating o…

You're right but I do believe future generation of men will stop focusing on women. Hopefully.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/24 11:03 PM
11

...That's how the feminist movement started. Similar thing is happening with men, but there's a lot of resistance from society if you talk about men's issues. That's why the feminist movement is over 100 years old, it's not something quick.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/24 11:00 PM
1

Not only men. Society in general.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 06:12 PM
15

Not wanting to see somebody you like with somebody else is not immature and selfish lol holy crap. It's a completely normal and healthy human reaction. If you want to keep being acquaintances that's fine. I'm guessing you're never really been rejected by somebody you love or even fall in love right?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 02:00 AM
13

No, you're not entitled to a friendship. Also, that silly mentality of putting other person's feelings over yours it's so outdated, and weird coming out from a woman. If I stop talking to you doesn't mean I hate you and I hope you're single forever. It means I value my mental and emotional health more.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 01:55 AM
1

If you we're kind and respectful you shouldn't feel regret. You did what you could with good intentions. The thing is most people aren't like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 01:52 AM
18

I mean no, some men aren't like that, we genuinely like a woman sometimes, and when we get rejected we decide to leave her alone cause it can be painful to be around her.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 06:47 PM
1

For serious relationships? No, most men have some sort standards for serious relationships that are usually shamed by society (i.e Not being fat, not having a promiscous past, not being a extreme partygoer etc...) For having sex? There are some men (usually the most attractive ones) who would sleep with any women. I believe that's where the meme comes from.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 06:45 PM
18

What do you mean with utterly disregard feelings the woman's feelings?.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 06:41 PM

I already said it. No I don't.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 06:13 PM
2

Honestly, I was just throwing examples without thinking. That one particulary doesn't really exist because the way they make those studies are basically asking people. That's the most unreliable method it exists because people lie.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 05:49 PM
2

It's usually several studies that reach to similar conclusions. Similar trends show in different countries.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 05:41 PM

Oh, you made another great point. I also don't think beauty is as subjective as women make it out to be. There's a reason why Dany Devito has never played a main super hero character in a movie and why Henry Cavill is succesful.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 04:50 AM
4

? Some of those sources are over a decade old, re-read my first comment again cause it seems you didn't get the point I was making. Also yes, some people are getting married. What's the point you're trying to make?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 04:45 AM
5

Again, sure some of them do. Not all of them. And gain, every study has flaws if you look hard enought, they're basically stadistical samples, so they can have sampling errors, data manipulation, confounding variables, etc... But if that's the case then every single study and statistic ever will have flaws. That's why you should pay attention to the trends more than the results, and if those trends are showing at several places worldwide, it's pretty obvious there's something going on. Source: W…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 04:12 AM

You'll find plenty of non-american studies with non-american data. So no, not all of them come from the PEW.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 03:58 AM

Agree to disagree. (After all, that's the point of this thread)
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 03:53 AM
5

It's one study. Also the amount of men having sex is less and less every year, the amount of single men is increasing every year, men are opting out of the dating pool, etc... Every study out there will have flaws if you look for them, but when you have different studies from different sources reaching to similar conclusions, it's really your problem if you still don't want to see the trend.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 03:50 AM
1

Yep. And it's probably the same for men.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 03:36 AM

Dating is exponentially harder for men that it is for women. Everybody, men and women, are unhappier single that in a relationship. Women care more about physicial appereance that society like to admit, men care less about phyisical appereance than society like to admit. Edit, to add: Beauty isn't as subjective as people think it is. Not saying is not subjective, it's just not at a level that a lot of people say it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 03:35 AM
7

While I completely agree with you, the thing is that, that number is rapidly changing. Remember: most men in their 20s are single, most women are not, this was a study done in 2023. I do believe OP isn't as wrong as people think, he's just ahead of the curve.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 03:32 AM
9

That's how it goes. Me: "Here's a study which show personality doesn't matter as much as women make it out to be, they are as superficial as men, and they are actually unhappy when single" Everybody here: "lol you're autistic, that's not how it works lol, it's a lie" Me:"Oh.."
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 03:28 AM
1

For sure, but "highly desirable" does not mean "good person".
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 03:25 AM
1

Super common. Get some female friends and talk about relationships with them.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 03:23 AM
1

Heard it a lot when I worked with women. But tbf is probably something that isn't as common nowadays due to women liberation. Which I'm ok with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 03:23 AM
1

Yep. As a men, I believe when a woman say no, men should leave her alone ffs. We need to have more self-respect.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 03:21 AM
1

Or he's probably legit interested on you and being overly charming because he hasn't practiced enough and quite unexperience with romantic interactions (but may be ok with all other social interactions)
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 03:20 AM

Respect.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 03:18 AM
1

I know! that's why is refreshing!
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 05:03 AM
6

Annd that's why the "personality is all that matters" is a huge gaslighting to men. It's not all that matters, physical appereance, sense of humor, things in common, etc play a HUGE role.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 04:35 AM
1

You must be good looking Refreshing every time a woman admit the importance of physical appereance to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 04:33 AM
0

Or he probably just hadn't meet the right woman/focused on his career/other things in life that don't revolve around women. The "women are wonderful" effect on some women is crazy.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 04:28 AM
2

LOL Whorecession will only happen if there's a considerable surplus of women. So, unlikely.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 04:23 AM
2

I grew up surrounded by women. One thing I learned from listening their conversations is when a women break up with you, she already stop loving you months ago.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 04:20 AM
1

Agree with that. But that doesn't invalidate my original point.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 04:16 AM
4

I don't get angry for that. It's annoyinig that most women aren't honest about it ("We care about personality and sense of humor because we're actually good people, unlike men who are pigs"). Women not giving two shits about personality if the guy look like a 6'6 Chris evans is completely fine. Not being honest about it is what is annoying and gaslighting to men
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 07:23 AM
1

in my 20s I had all red flags, every bad quality people list, I probably have had it and yet I found a woman just fine why? It just means you're good looking, if you're attractive personality and all that jazz is secondary. But yeah, usually following women's advice is not the best thing to do. Edit: Just saw your pic in your profile, definitley good lookin my man, and you look 20 years younger, it's crazy.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 07:18 AM
1

Having a good sense of humor means she finds you physically attractive, she'd laugh of any dumb jokes you make.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 07:16 AM
6

If they don’t like their lives, why the fuck would a woman want to join it? My first step to try to solve dating would be for people to stop assume men who are struggling "have something wrong in their life". Remember most serial killers were married. Being single =/= having a bad life.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 07:14 AM
1

I don't really understand the point of this place if most women just won't listen to whatever makes them see how shitty they can be. Honestly discussion is totally pointless here. And yeah, we men have no issues accepting we can be shitty, usually my shitty friends are the ones getting laid a all the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 07:04 AM
1

Well, most men in college were single (and even today, that's the same, remember most men in their 20s are single, most women are not), but the few that were in relationships, yeah, there some who were average for sure.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 07:00 AM
1

Never said we need to be mentally ill. We need to learn how to handle the male condition.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 06:59 AM
1

Oh, so moving the goal post eh? lol I guess it's "not basically it" then, which I completely agree with you!(It's almost as if being attractive for men is a takes a ton of work compared to women). What other things can a man do to be attractive would you say then? We already stablished being fit "isn't basically it". Could you share 5 things a men can do to be attractive in your opinion?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 06:57 AM
1

Men with dark tetrad also are the ones who are more attractive to women. Studies are on the bottom of this article: https://www.psychologytoday.com/gb/blog/the-myths-sex/202203/the-sexual-appeal-dark-personalities I can see what you mean, after reading your study (altough it makes a difference between street prostitution and legal prostitution, the first being unacceptable and of course is the one with the worse type of men), however what I mean is that women think only some type of undesirable …
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 06:53 AM
1

Again it also comes from going to college and having succesful attractive men.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/24 06:32 PM
1

It isn't fiction. The other comment already breaks down the logic behind the numbers. But I also know data analysis dont do much for people here if it contradicts how they feel.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/24 06:32 PM
1

Awesome. So, a men who isn't fit, wouldn't be top man? Would it be safe to assume men who isn't into shape will struggle to find a date?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/24 05:59 PM
2

If a women sent a message to a man, chances are that man is already within the top 20%. If the women sends 20 messages, those 20 men are within the 20% of top men, those men are definitely getting tons of messages. Isn't that hard to understand.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/24 05:57 PM
1

It comes from studies but also from going to college and having succesful attractive men.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/24 05:53 PM
0

That's fair enough. Most of those things come from a mental health background, which is absoltuely a men's huge problem largely ignored by society.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/24 05:21 PM
1

What would you consider "easy" that a man can do to be considered a "top tier"? I'm going to hopefully make you see you why dating is harder for men, following your logic. Also, would you agree that we're all humans with flaws and a lot of women are trash aswell? It's okey if you don't think they're at the same level than "trash" men, but at least they're not "girlfriend" material (they're manipulative/emotionally violent/unstable). I can't help you out if you don't agree on that.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/24 05:20 PM
3

Sex work is legal in my country. What I've noticed is that there is still shame associated with it, most women think only "some type" of men hire sex workers, when in reality all types of men hire their services.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/24 07:14 PM
2

If you're a top tier man no doubt. It's like being rich.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/24 07:07 PM
1

How do you think we make it harder?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/24 07:05 PM
1

how to avoid “red flag” topics during a first date to essentially keep it going well. But that’s not the point of the first date I think it’s totally reasonable to use the first date to cross off any red flags. I mean, are you trolling? If that's the case sorry, I thought you were being serious.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/24 06:45 AM
1

Oh, sorry I got confused when you wrote people giving advice of how to avoid “red flag” topics during a first date to essentially keep it going well. But that’s not the point of the first date I see you're suffering from the good ol' "women-are-wonderful" effect. lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/02/24 11:17 PM
4

True, but my point is my attractive friend who dated like 20 different girls in college has more experience that the unattractive guy who's only dated 2 girls in his life.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/02/24 11:16 PM
8

No, I'm pretty unattractive lol. My college friends however they were, I was witness of mental and physical abuse a few times, aswell as having his cellphone destroyed by a jealous girlfriend. Also had a uncle with an Attempted murder from his wife. Remember, women-on-man violence is more common more than ever and women-on-women relationships have the highest rate of violence in all type of relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/02/24 09:07 PM
2

Yeah, I can agree on that. My point is, how some women, not all women, also behave exactly like your original comment stated, looking for a "succesful date" and "searching for red flags". That's not a "men" thing :)
/r/PurplePillDebate29/02/24 09:00 PM
1

Or, hear me out guys, you do what you want and enjoy life.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/02/24 07:09 PM
2

That's because women treat the first date as a job interview. If you see men "being careful" with what they say, is because we've been through the "women treating date like a job interview" date before.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/02/24 07:05 PM
1

That'd be moderately helpful. But like all social issues, it's society in general that need to work on how to tackle it, which is why I'm not hopeful about this issue being fixed anytime soon.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/02/24 02:51 AM
4

Obligatory "not all men". But lack of emotional intelligence/mental health support in men has been a pretty big talking point even in the modern feminist movements. It's really no secret men lack the support for it.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/02/24 01:26 AM
4

Because a woman want different things in a boyfriend and in a friend, but they do it unconsciously. That's why women's advice tends to be really bad, it usually comes from a "be her friend" place, which it's a terrible perspective.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/02/24 01:12 AM
4

I'd say is more likely due to a mix of high testosterone and men lacking emotional intelligence.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/02/24 01:09 AM
17

As an atheist I always believe religion strength comes from a sense of comunity and unity. NGL that's kinda cool.

Yeah, they exist, but I've noticed they tend to be quiet. I know at least three: The first one, around 28-29, is with this really cool childfree girl. They've been together for like 5 years, got themselves an apartment last year, and are engaged. I kinda lost touch about a year ago, but I'm pretty sure they're still pretty happy. Second guy, in his late 40s, is a executive at a bank and teaches at the university part-time (that's where I first knew him because he was my teacher). He's all about …

Yeah, basically. Remember those studies showing how men with mysoginistc traits actually fair better with women. Women will never accept this however and I can totally understand why. If I were a woman I won't like to accept that I'm attracted to agressive man that could potentially harm me, I'd just go with "I like sensible men".
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/24 06:36 PM

That's his point about unrealistic standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/24 06:33 PM

And that's totally fine. That's your personal preference based on your personal beliefs. As long as you understand some men think similary about promiscous people based on their personal moral beliefs (Which I'm guessing you do), I think you're being coherent.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 08:44 PM

So, would you listen a guy reasoning why he paid for sex if he wants to date you?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 08:37 PM

My friend, I know a woman who started dating a men because they were "compatible star signs". She's 31.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 08:35 PM

That's when it gets subjective and it depends on a lot of things. 20 partners by age 21? That's definitely sign of bad motives. 20 partners by age 50? even though It's still way to high for me, I can understand other men who also were promiscous been fine with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 08:31 PM

Women in this thread seems to be fine with it. Talking about this issue in other places, they aren't fine with it. In reality, you can have preferences regardless of your genre or sex. People not wanting promiscous partners is valid.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 08:29 PM

Some of them are interested in monogamous LT relationship and when looking for a woman they have preferences for women without a promiscous past.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 08:28 PM

Men and women are almost equally bad. Female-to-men violence in relationships have been on the rise in the last decade or so. It's a little bit of unrealistic standards for sure, but also the way society has been transforming into a more solitary one, look at japanese culture, they are always ahead of the curve in social issues.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 12:48 AM

Not really, plenty of introverted guys, asexual, religious or just traditional men don't really have sex high in their priorities, so they may find a person with a promiscous past disgusting. Even if that' doesn't make sense to you, it's their choice. You're disgusted by how men use another persons body for their sole purpose when that's the base of capitalism, I'm sure as hell don't like to rent my mind 40 hours a week for a paycheck but that's how the system is. It's not inherently bad. We dis…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 12:36 AM

But surely you can see how men can be disgusted by promiscous women too? Just like you're disgusted by men paying for sex because in your personal opinion is not ethical, some men think similar in that regard. Would you say men not wanting a promiscous woman is valid?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 12:08 AM

would you date a promiscous man?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 12:05 AM

Kinda agree with you, but honestly it's hard to imagine a person having sex with, let's say 100 people because "he/se was in love" with all 100, at that point I think it points at heavy mental issues, I agree with the "Motive matters more than action", I'd argue a person sleeping with a bunch of people usually don't have good motives (mental issues, falls in love easily, too dependent, etc...)
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 12:01 AM

Agree with you, and from what I've read here most women are okey with that too.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/24 11:58 PM

Yeah, from what I gather people are fine with people not wanting to date promiscuous people, but in society is more heavily focused to the "men are bad for having that preference". when in reality is okey to have it regardless of your genre/sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/24 11:57 PM

would you date a promiscuous man?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/24 11:56 PM

From what I gather from the comments in here, most women are fine with men/women having these preference which personally, is totally the way I see it too.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/24 11:55 PM

I've been to the gym for 3 years now. Women don't care if you look at them, chances are they don't even pay attention to you. Just avoid peak hours where it fills with teenagers and tiktokers.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/24 01:32 AM

Yes, it is indeed availbale to everybody but some men may not have the finance to buy one. I know those men shouldn't be having sex, but they are indeed having sex. You can't forbid people to have sex, that's really not useful. What we have to do is giving people the tools to become more responsible.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/24 01:26 AM
1

Completely agree with you 100% but people love to fuck. I believe condoms should be free too btw aswell as all contraceptives.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/24 01:24 AM
1

Indeed I'm not american. It's completey ridiculous that people have to pay for the birth. Everything related to sexual education/parenting responsabilities should be free.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/24 01:22 AM
2

I completely agree with you, but people are having sex regardless of their economical status. Not much you can do other than teach them sex education and helping them with these types of tools to improve their parenting responsabilities. And yeah contraceptive methods should also be 100% free just in case you're wondering my opinion on that.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/24 08:16 PM
1

Then we have a difference in ideology and we'll never see eye to eye and no point on keep arguing. I don't think healthcare is the same as buying a house or taking a vacation, birthing rights are more important than that. Just a final question. Do you think a person who needs insulin needs to pay for it? Or a women giving birth needs to pay for the hospital?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/24 07:31 PM
1

Is it the job of the government to pay for each and every non-essential thing someone can't afford? Birthing/parenting rights is definitely essential. Yeah, sorry. I'm not american, all those things are free in my country. Definitely there's a lot that need worked out before paternity tests. For once, is completely ridiculous birthing isn't free, women shouldn't have to pay for that. Eventually we'll get to paternity tests but there's a lot to be done first.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/24 07:22 PM

For sure, I stand corrected more like "default", you should be able to opt out if both parties agree.

Here's a my answer to a similar comment I wrote some minutes ago: Sure, but I believe some men don't have the finance to buy one, as I believe in universal health care I think we should be provided one free of cost if needed. And since women take offense when asked, just make that part of the birth process to avoid offend people.

That's interesting for sure. And yeah, actually that's another interesting point to analize for paternity tests and how it could help women (and society in general really). It's a topic that needs more talk around it for sure, any answer that I or you can give to this would be incomplete. However for the sake of conversation I can give you my opinion: Maybe if both parties don't want the get a paternity test, then they will have to pay for the birth.

Why should it be part of the birth process since the man isn't physically involved in the birth process? It was a matter of speaking, the mother doesn't need to take part of the process (they just need to take to swab the baby and the father), it's just easier to make it part of the birth process. If anything doing this would just put the child at risk for violence How so? Why would insurance or hospitals want to get involved in all of that potential drama? I'm not american but I'm sure there's …

Certainly. It should be mandatory to help men who can't afford paternity tests. On top of this, there are a lot of advantanges for the kid, the mother and the father. And I agree you should be free to "opt out" if both parties agree. https://dnacenter.com/blog/exploring-the-many-benefits-of-paternity-testing/

Should be mandatory by law. I'm sorry that you feel so offended by it. I'm sure 90% of women are absolutely honest about it, and shouldn't feel offended by this, but is needed for the other 10%.

You should be free to opt out if both parties agree, for sure. But chances are they already have the genetic information one way or another if you have universal healthcare. Also them having your genetic information makes them faster to take care of you if an emergency happens.

The biggest one I can see being an overwhelming fear of rejection and adverse emotional overreactions to that rejection. 100% agree with you, but here's the thing, A GOOD chunk of women are exactly like this aswell, that's why most women don't approach men. Thing is, they don't get penalized as much in dating as men and is more socially accepted.

Yeah, I used to work at a female-dominated field (interior design) and went to a female-dominated college, I realize most women lie about this subject, I guess it makes them feel good with themselves, nobody wants to admit how important looks are when looking for a partner even though they are, it's a bad thing to judge people on looks even though we all do it. I agree on this one, most women generally speaking unless they are heavily physically disfigured or have a serious neurodivergent issue (And even then, the penalty isn't as big as it is for men) have no problems getting a date/relationship. This is why dating/relationships in general are exponential more difficult for men that it is for women.

I'm mexican, never heard about this movement in this context (Ni una menos is about feminicides, not sex and dating, most mexican women enjoy sex and dating, surprisingly). The true is, a lot of decent men are going to end up alone because women just don't find them attractive despite being decent people. The same goes the other way around for sure, but that's an accepted idea in society while the other way around is not. ("If a women can't find a man, is men's fault. Those were the 4 craziest years of my life just by listening to his stories: From girls literally inviting him to have sex in the bathroom, sending him very direct DMs, being extremely persistent if they were turn down by him (I learned women handle rejection 10 times worse than men do, even had girls physica…

i dont think they are worse than taken guys, i think assuming anyone is "good" is not a realistic premise to start on Then we agree. Sadly people in general have a hard time accepting this. then i guess its only women who are bombarded with the opposite How are you bombarded with the opposite? We're reminded every day in schools, workplaces, news, goverment, social programs that "men are sexists, most men are not good enough that's why women are choosing to stay single, women need to be helped i…

I appreciate the respectful answer, overall I agree with you with everything, however the thing about the first point is that what I think is harmful is that people, specially women tend to focus more on the "they aren't all good guys either." The truth is the majority of people, including men are decent people. The problem is that people tend to focus on the later. Proof of this is how, your first instinct when reading my "not all men are bad" was focusing on how "some are definitely bad". We k…

As a perpetually single 33-year old man I can give you my opinion: You're kinda right but that's an exaggerated view of reality. Men who have issues dating, don't have "serious" issues. We're not misogynistic psychopats who hate women, at least personally I just have below average social skills and really bad physical appereance, that's all. I am a freelancer and I can talk to people just fine and even in a second language I run my business dealing with people with no issues, what I mean with th…

Agree, but is not as insignificant as you think. And it's probably bigger than the amount of women who are into fat dudes, so initial point still stand, is easier for women to find a men who likes fat girs than the other way around.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/24 06:18 AM

No, but accepting than men lie is more common in society than accepting women lie. Also even though both genres lie, usually men don't care that much if a woman is to desperate/short/ugly so we don't lie about that as often as women lie about it. And the men who care more and talk more about women like that are usually the ones who fair better at dating, I know that goes against women just-world belief of "we're only attracted to kind guys" but that's how I've seen it in my 33 years of life.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/24 06:17 AM

If you are not unattractive and have good social skills, it may work. But again, if you're not unattractive and have good skills and you actively look for a woman to date, you'll find her faster. So, is true, but is irrelevant, if that makes sense. It's a "Fedora only look good on good-looking guys who don't need to improve their looks" type of situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/24 03:23 AM
6

There are men who like BBW, there are facebook pages that post pics of "cute female convicts", also most men don't care how a woman dress, what the hell are you talking about?. So no, usually women don't have to put a lot of effort. I don't know why this is such a controversial fact in society.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/24 03:06 AM
8

Basically, yes. Men have to understand most women are polite when dealing with men, most won't be honest with you because they don't want to hurt your feelings, things like "you're too desperate, too short, too ugly, etc..." are complete off the table for most women.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/24 02:55 AM

If you're good looking with low-self steem sooner or later a girl will want to date you, specially if you're young. Physicial appereance can overpower most other features in a man. Except maybe power.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/24 02:44 AM

Most women do nothing when it comes to dating (don't ask men out, don't approach, etc..) and they still have no issues finding men to date. So no, generally speaking for women is true. I'm sure there are some women with neurodivergent issues/extreme physicial disabilities/live in isolated places with a surplus of men that may have problems finding men to date, but they're not the norm.

men* dating/relationships for women require no effort whatsoever.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/24 02:28 AM

Probably not, but can help with your self-steem. I've yet to met a man who "has dated plenty of women out of his league" who are genuinely ugly, they usually just have a messed up self-view. Or are rich.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/24 05:39 PM

Could you imagine another consequences if rape and harassment weren't crimes? Most men won't do it, because you know, is a fucked up thing to do.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/24 05:37 PM

If you can find a girl who’s OK with it more power to you I wouldn’t be. Yeah, that's the bottomline, a smart woman who knows paternity test is actually full of benefits for the kid and the relationship(https://kellerlegalservices.com/blog/2023/05/29/why-paternity-testing-is-a-good-idea-for-everyone-involved/) it's the type of woman I want as a partner. This isn’t ok any more than you would be OK with her demanding STD test once a year. you can have STDs withouth having sex actually, so I won't …
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/24 05:14 PM

How you feel is not relevant, that's your issue. If it makes my partner feel safe and all it requires is a small sacrifice fom my part and, god forbid, being faithful, most men would be okay with that. That's not a common idea in women nowadays.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/24 04:40 PM

If the lie detector was done fast in like 1 minute, without intrusion of privacy, paid by the insurance, a lot of men would be ok if makes their partner feel more safe (Only the cheaters would care tbh). That's ignoring the fact that "accusing of cheating" isn't even at the same life-changing level of having a kid and is a stupid comparasion.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/24 04:33 PM

Plenty of men are like that too. He's saying women aren't these special angels who only fall in love with kind super unique men with great souls. They're humans and some of them cheat and lie just like men.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/24 12:01 AM

Totally understandable my friend, but I think you need to work a little bit on your attachment to people, I'm not saying you're doing it wrong, but attachment shouldn't be something you give so easily. Again, there's nothing wrong with not sleeping around, I think that's cool.

No. Another idea that most women have is that they are these angels who are above men and don't cheat and are always 100% commited to a relationship. The truth is women cheating/abusing their partners have been on the rise for a while now, if anything that's just show how much more difficult men have it: Women can have sex whenever they want it, but commitment is difficult. /r/PurplePillDebate02/02/24 04:36 PM

A few things, firstly for men in average, sex and emotions are not always related unlike for women. Secondly, the men who cheat are actually a minority, they tend to fair better with women because they are attractive, powerful or both, but that's not the average men.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/24 10:42 PM
4

You're both kinda right and kinda wrong. Those guys who get more matches after updating their profiles are not because "their prompts are high quality, interesting and give off player vibes." It's simply because in their photos they look physically more attractive, looks are the most important thing on dating apps.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/24 08:15 PM
10

Personal experience but the "average men" who are doing well in dating apps are not average at all. They're fairly good looking, while not super models they're definitely not average. The real average guys either got 0 matches on dating apps, or get a few over a course of several months and they get into LTR with one of those girls.

My man approached me in the gym. Prior to him approaching me, men almost on a daily basis would approach me in the gym. You got your answer right there OP. You have to be out there and risk make women a little uncomfortable, that's how men find a women. That's also why there's so many issues with dating nowadays, we have taugh men is wrong to approach women and we have taugh women not to be patient with men approaching. It's a clusterf*ck.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/24 04:18 PM

Holy shit, she's the one who is afraid to approach but you are the one with confidence issues. Word of advice, you don't want to date a women with no self steem and so scared of asking you out, it's probably going to be a pain in the ass to be with somebody so immature (unless she's 19 and you are too), is her loss, you have to look for something better.

No. Rapist, murderers and sociopaths get in relationships/married all the time. You're right, Kindess doesn't matter, it's almost as if people should stop pretending having a kind personality matters to get a relationship, and that men who can't get into a relationships may have other issues rather than their personality.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/24 04:14 PM
3

I mean ignoring that some likely do it for the cheating possibility and mental health aspect that I mentioned, yes probably others do it for that reason, justifiably. Plenty of women won't date virgins, is seen as a "red flag", sex it's used as a mocking subject for men too ("small penis energy", " he has never made a women cum", etc...). It comes down to the dynamic of how men see sex vs how women see sex. For women is easy and available all the time, for men that's not the case.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/24 12:13 AM
1

This comes down to how men/women see sex. Women would never understand how hard is for men to have sex, because for a women is the easiest thing in the world. A woman who have a lot of sex, didn't have to do anything other than going to a bar/downloading a dating app. A man who have a lot of sex, is charming, good looking, persistent, resilient, nice, have great social skills, has money, is a great talker, etc.. (Not all of those at the same time, but a bunch of those qualities). This difference…

No, but lower-count is what a lot of men want nowadays. People who have higher body counts tend to be more prone to cheating. Also mental health, pair bonding and all that good stuff that most women hate to admit. I don't care if you slept with 3 guys at 30 years. I care if you slept with 100 at 29 years, it means you probably suck at judging character or having stable relationships. Woman can do it to, but usually men with high body count tend to be attractive to women.

The issue with this is that women will always keep pretending personality matters more thant it actually does. As long as we keep pushing that belief, this "nice guy" thing will always exist, because there'll always be genuinely kind guys who are ugly/have bad social skills and are having a tonshit of problems with dating. When "genuienely kind guys" find out it's not helping them dating, then women will say you need to be "super kind guy" and when that isn't helping them, women will say you nee…

Best take in the thread. People are treating other people as commodities nowadays, everybody does it men, women, straight, gay, etc... At least this idea makes those men "go out" of their shells and find a first relationship that would probably help them mentally, and while obviously is not the most optimal solution, as long as they do it playfully I think that's okay. Only shitty thing is the name lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/24 05:25 PM

Women: We like nice men Also every women ever: I have a crazy ex story, he was a psycho! The reality is, women suck just as much as men when it comes to judge character.

It's the social media and online dating that is skewing young people view on sex and relationships. It's completely fucked up. Women will have tons on matches on dating apps, men usually see that as a good thing because the average guy is lucky if he has 2 different women interested on him. It's that difference in experience also what creates a lot of issues and lack of understanding from both sexes about the other.

I think it is definitely an issue with modern dating, and it goes both ways, the amount of "women who don't need a man because I am strong and independent" and the amount of men who "want to spend my money and time in myself" are definitely a factor that's messing up dating. Dating and marriage is about sacrificing yourself for other person, that's a feeling that's not popular nowadays.

Never said it was. Again, most "pills" are just real behaviour that's been around for ages. They just rely on hyperboles depending on what you believe and your personal experience, i.e. Unattractive men will focus too much on physical appereance and think that's the only thing that matters, in reality physicial appereance definitely matters most thatn women like to admit, but that's NOT the only thing they look for.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/24 11:01 PM

The Past matters if you want to otherwise you're free to ignore it. Just don't be a hypocrite about it (i.e It's fine if women are promiscous but men being virgin is a red flag)

It's specially true for teenagers, once you mature is not as common. But what I've noticed is women do something similar except for them is the "friend-boyfriend" complex, once you become a platonic friend you're never going to be seen as boyfriend material.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/24 07:55 PM

The truth is yes, aggresive men tend to fair better with women that non-aggressive men. Usually women discard this point with the Just-world-fallacy ("Only toxic women are attracted to toxic men"). But why they discard it? Simple, women will never admit this because is a survival instinct. Why the fuck would you accept you're attracted to aggresive men, when a woman is more likely to be killed by her partner?

Most women are put off by a man who seeks the services of a prostitute (either because they find he is objectifying/degrading women and/or he lacks the sexual prowess to obtain sex for free) This is the issue. I have friends who are married and spent their 20s dating a lot and they still have paid for sex. Women being "put off" by men who paid for sex doesn't make sense at all, they are "put off" by unattractive men who in ther mind, looks they'd need to pay for sex. It's a confirmation bias.

Bingo. Also hyperbole thinking is extremely common on the internet. The fact that women's physical attractiveness declines after 30 does not mean all women over 30 are automatically ugly. If you're not a high status man, it doesn't mean you'll never get to experience sex or relationships. And people on the other side do it all the time too. Not all women care only about personality, not all men are pigs who only want sex.

Not all men are perpetrators. So firstly, there's a LOT of work to do with how society sees men. And don't tell me that old falacy of "well, men have the highest rate of violence, so is okey to fear them" because that's literally what concepts like racism and prejudice are.

/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/24 05:49 PM

They both have symmetrical faces and normal-shaped facial features. They have similar fundation but everything built around it, is different.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/24 05:38 PM

Plenty of studies have been done about attractiveness and its objectivenes: Facial simetry, sexual dimorphism, facial shape, etc. so no. Note OP is saying is more objective than people like to admit, not that is 100% objective, which is true.

Yes, there are men who put looks above eveything else. There are also women who care about height above a lot of things. Men aren't a monolith.

I'm a 33 yo who has never had a woman show any kind of interest on me. Defeatest mindset makes sense when you're older, if you're 21 and barely go out then I'd agree with you.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/24 03:56 PM

lmao of course not, you're thinking on the top 10% men that have 90% of the casual sex. Believe it or not, the average man is looking for...checking notes an actual relationship and more than casual sex sigh imagine my shock.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/24 03:40 PM

Because men aren't fan of paying for being rejected 100s of times. As a woman, you can't even imagine what is like to feel rejected insane amounts of times. Women don't understand most women don't find most men attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/24 06:42 AM

It's common when you're young. I believe most men are romantic when they're teenagers/kids but it kind gets kicked out of ous as we grow up.

For women is a "friend-husband" complex. I've seldom seen a female friend who would consider a friend as a boyfriend material, and the times that I've seen it happen it's because they felt somehow attracted to that man from the beginning. But once you're considered a friend it's kinda difficult to become a boyfriend.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/24 09:18 AM

You can always improve your social skills through practice if you have a chance.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/24 09:07 AM
6

Absolutely but if you don't have the looks, social skills wouldn't even matter because women won't swipe right on you. This is something a lot of women have such a hard time understanding. Good looks + no social skill = she gave you a shot, but you failed No looks + good social skills = social skills don't matter, you won't even get a chance to talk to her.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/24 02:55 AM

if you don't have the looks most woman don't really give you the time of the day to show your personality even thought t they don't really admit it. The reason why real life dating is slightly better that OLD is that by being stubborn and obstinate you can break that wall, this usually means risking making some women uncomfortable which is why men don't do it as much nowadays. I went to bars and a lot of social events when I was younger, dating apps are a pretty decent reflection of real life, w…

Women are like a middle class person complaining that he can't buy a new car because he's already out of his budget, and he's going to have to use his older car which is constantly breaking down and is a pain in the ass or he has to take the public transport which is extremely incovenient. It may take him a few months to save up for a good car, or he can cancel his gym membership, eat ess, cancel his streaming services, stop buying so much clothes and shoes, or move out to a cheaper place but al…

Your way of seeing things may have something to do. When I was in college, I had an attractive friend whom I saw every now and then talking to female acquaintances. When he finished talking, he sometimes told me, "See? She was all over me." But to me, it looked like a normal interaction. I also remember a female friend who had a crush on my friend, and she sometimes flirted with him pretty obviously, but he didn't mention it at all. I feel like sometimes it's all in your head.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/24 06:12 AM

Well, then what do you want to debate? You don't want to believe that something that is statistically improbable is in fact, improbable, because it makes you feel more comfortable with the world.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/23 04:34 PM

Because tendencies exist and are decent predictors of behaviour.

Attractivnes is not as subjective as women like to pretend. He's attractive and most people would find him attractive, that's why he played a lot of teenage romantic roles before TBBT, and even coming of age sexual movies like "The Opposite of Sex". Agree with you on the first part tho.

We men have in general a difficult time accepting when other men are attractive, unless they're blatantly attractive. The dude is pretty attractive, no surprise your BF had an esay time with women. the only really ugly one in that show is howard.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/23 09:32 AM

I mean sure, but your comparation is bad, they aren't nowhere as common and annoying as the age gap ones.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/23 05:46 PM

Can we ban age gap relationships threads? Look the stats, age gap dating is extremelye uncommon. It's a thing only the most succesful, attractive, and rich men do (i.e. Dicaprio), but women think all men do.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/23 05:09 PM
1

Yeah, he's absolutely good looking, men who look like him have few issues dating women unless they have some neurodivergent issue. Why did you ask? did your former boyfriend have a lot of female friends? lmao jk
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/23 10:17 PM

No, you're aplying the logic women apply on men.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/23 10:07 PM

No, men don't get scared away lol. Again, you're thinking like women think about virgin men. But it doesn't work like that the other way around.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/23 10:05 PM

Oh definitely, a minority sure do, just like there are a minority of women who would prefer dating a virgin men over an experience one. But it's not the average.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/23 10:03 PM
3

Well, I guess you got really unlucky.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/23 08:58 PM

I think the just-world fallacy that women have is that men that go passport bro route are not being picked by women because they have some sort of deffect, in reality when I google passports bro, I see mostly nice-looking men (with the occasional 'tate-bro' for sure, but they're not the norm and they're usually doing sex-tourism) that don't look super ugly or boring and just generally seem interesting and fun.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/23 08:53 PM
4

I mean, you're right, men aren't a monolith, I'm sure there's an minority of men who do care. I guess if it was one time thing it's realistic, it's just that if you had several guys doing that it starts to definitely sounds sketchy, men don't care if a woman is a virgin or not, there has been studies done about it and your experience is definitely an outlier, that's all.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/23 08:47 PM
2

I'm sure you're telling the truth, random internet comment.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/23 08:33 PM
0

Yeah I do. Some are happily married, some are single in.cel types, other are single womenizer types, it's really the same. Albeit the in.cel types are the ones who put waaay to much importance into it, all the others don't really care if she's a virgin or not, albeit her being a virgin is nicer, but ultimately if they find her attractive and she's into them, it literally doesn't matter. Majority of men don't judge women for being virgins.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/23 08:31 PM
5

Because it's a lie. Literally no guy cares if a girl is virgin if he finds her hot, actually the fact that you're the first man, makes her way more attractive (Why do you think in.cels want virgin women?). No man thinks there's something wrong because a woman is a virgin, quite the opposite actually. That comment was written by a woman who believe men think like women (women are the ones who don't like virgin men).
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/23 03:35 PM
3

Right, I'm sure.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/23 03:33 PM

Agree. The fact that kids/teenagers shouldn't have sex only comes to light when it's a age gap issue ("She's 19 and he's 40, her brain is still not fully developed!") but we ignore all other situations ("She's 19, it's her decision if she wants to sleep with every person she finds attractive, she's living her sexuality :)"). Plus STDs are a pandemic and a healthcare issue. Teach how to use condons and all other contraceptives, for sure, but make emphasis on not sleeping around.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/23 03:30 PM
5

And there's nothing wrong with it, it's the women who don't admit it what's annoying. Thank god that's changing.

Women are the same, unless they find you attractive, you're basically the one carrying the conversation.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/23 07:05 AM

I'm sorry, but just like men have the right to not being attracted to a woman with promiscuous past, women can do the same for men. It's a two-way street.

How so? The average/ugly dude is also taking ANY woman who shows attention. In the real world? No, men have standards, usually lower than women's but we do. Do you think attractive men are unhappy when any women pay attention to them? They are also taking "whatever". No? They're enjoying it, but it happens so often it's not a big deal for them. Women in general are "whatever" for men. It's just "whoever gives me what I want" , regardless of whether they are attractive or not. Men are all the sam…

No, the men that take the "whatever" are the most attractive mostly. The average/ugly dude is happy when a women pays attention to him, we don't treat a women who is attracted to us like a "whatever", which funny enough a lot of women don't like that. Your reaction is common in women because women tend to only date/sleep with the most attractive men thus creating resentment.

Most women have casual sex because they have self steem issues. If you're a man and have self steem issues, women will runaway from you The men who are promiscous are because of the opposite: They have great social skills, good looking, feel good with themselves, etc... It comes down to how easier sex is for women that it is for men. Having said that, women too are 100% in their right to turn down a man because he had a promiscous past... the catch is that men with promiscous pasts tend to be th…

If there are lots of single men, wouldn't there be lots of single women? Unless lots of women are dating the same man? Partially yes I've always find funny women not getting the concept that women would date the same attractive men all the time. Also more men commit suicide than women, men died younger, etc... It's not like theres exactly 1 women per 1 men in the world, there's usually more men than women depending on the country.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/23 09:06 PM

More men are single than women in our younger years, it's after about 50-60 years when that flips iirc. Loneliess is a problem that affects young men more. Don't know why so many people has so much issue accepting that.

Absolutely. But that's when our personal opinions differ. I believe minorities should have strong social support and awareness in society and not just "do it themselves". Which of course they should, but if you don't have social support from other people you can only get so far.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/23 02:31 AM

Just like all the ideas from the red pill it's an hyperbole of real life fact. It comes from the idea that men find younger women more attractive, which it's sorta true, but believe it or not, usually looks aren't everything to men either. In real life, if you're a 30 yo women who look like Margot Robbie or just a decent women who is mentally stable, chances are you're not going to suffer from the "wall".

To add to this, you know how you probably know a decent good girl who somehow ends up dating a complete douchebag? It also happens a lot the other way around, decent men dating complete psychos. So, yeah people are terrible in general.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 07:36 PM

To add this, as a 30 year old men, the amount of women who appear to be in "good/functioning/normal in good relationships" only to later found out they were in actually abusive relationships/cheaters/pretending to have a good life for the likes, it's really high. A lot of men who date "good" women are really dating dysfunctional crappy women, but you won't know it in your 20s usually, they hide it really well.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 07:34 PM

It's weird to see this coming from a woman in this place but yeah, most men are dysfunctional but most women are too. The thing is, being "dysfunctional" is a bigger handicap if you're a man than if you're a women.

You know what? You're right. Violence against women is an accepted and talked-about topic in society, and I agree with that. This is not a zero-sum game, both sexes can have issues.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/23 05:38 AM
35

Oh god, the age gap should really a banned topic in here just like physicial appereance or body count. Yes, the amount of 50 yo millionares dating 20 yo models are in fact, a extreme minority of men and a statistical anomaly.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/23 04:42 PM

Would it be fair to say that men having way more difficult than ever in relationships is not an issue that you think is that important in society?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/23 04:40 PM

If I may ask, any reason why aren't you personally seeking it?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/23 04:29 PM

1 in 7 women and 1 in 25 men have been injured by an intimate partner. Again, you're right, but again, is not like men don't run the risk.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/23 04:21 PM

Why do you believe society should not aknowledge the struggles of a minority social group?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/23 04:19 PM
-2

Few things: 1) Yes, but my point is a lot of men end up in abusive relationships too, women often ignore we run that risk too. 2) Those men had to go throught a lot more rejection than most women. 3) The number of men who don't have sex or relationships have been steadily increasing in the last years at a faster rate than women.

There's a thread talking about this, the best answer imho: https://old.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/comments/17w54dq/q4men_why_is_it_important_that_people_agree_that/k9fo1q6/

1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men have experienced some form of physical violence by an intimate partner. (https://ncadv.org/STATISTICS) So while you're absolutely right, is not uncommon for men either, and I remember reading female-to-male abuse has been on the rise on the last decade but can't find the study.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/23 03:54 PM

Women often ignore that a lot of women are also abusive/toxic/mentally unstable, and they don't realize most men are lucky enough to get the attention of 1 women, the chances of that women falling in those categories is not small.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/23 03:47 PM

Why is it important that people agree women get sexually abused and that is an issue? (You may apply that question to any other social issue if you don't feel confortable talking about sexual abuse.)
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/23 03:33 PM

So, the red pill? That's a pretty popular idea, nothing new.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/23 06:58 AM

If you're extremely physicially attractive and extroverted it's a breeze. 90% of men aren't that.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/23 06:55 AM

Would you say we have to agree women get sexualy abused more often than men? Or would you be confortable with your partner telling you "lol, thats crazy, that never happens"?

And you're simply wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/23 06:47 AM

It's not an opinion. And I think it's a good start to help men. But I can see you're not willing to talk about this and whatever I said will end up with you calling me names so, goodbye.

It's not the cause, but yeah that's how it works in average.

To get a solution? No, "anything" won't help. That's like saying anything will help solve racism or poverty. If you want to tackle the issue you need to study it and really understand it.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 03:33 PM

I don't know, we need sociologist, psychologist, politicians backed up by governments and universities to study this issue more in deep. But won't happen as long as people call "incels" or disregard any person who wants to talk about it.

That's just being a decent person. Nothing to do with gender/sex/race, etc...
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 03:11 PM

Ya'll need to socialize and get some female friends, you'll learn women reject 90% of men who approach them in any environment: dating apps, bars, work, school, etc... The only reason why "traditional dating" works is because there are more women, so you'll need to go over more rejection but you have greater chance of meeting somebody. I never said traditional dating doesn't work, is just that OLD it's a good reflection of what women want even in traditional dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 03:02 PM

Dating apps are absolutely a reflection of real life. Most women don't realize a guy who has 0 matches in apps, will hardly have women interested on him of he goes to bars. It's just another "just world" falacy in action.

Fair enough. What I mean is men who: Have decent social skills Have good job / being a good student May have one or two hobbies Are well educated The kind of people who are just "down to earth"

You say it’s not important to most men, but statistically most men get with women in their socio-economic class, and rich men are not getting with cashiers. It's a hyerbole obviously. Most men don't care if the woman is the breadwinner, while a good chunk of women do care. https://www.marketwatch.com/story/many-women-say-they-wont-date-a-man-over-this-one-financial-issue-2017-04-07 The idea of men being the provider is a patriarchal idea still alive today. And men with status often want a classy beautiful woman to “show off” which is about the woman’s status. Yeah, not financially, that's not really important for most men. I'd say social status linked to income is absolutely a patriarchal ideology, that's why so many women claim "they don't need a man" or "I can take care of myself" nowadays.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 05:51 AM

considering both genders care Is not as important for men as it is for women. A male "good earner" could date a female cashier. Not the same the other way around.

Yeah but statistically there's going to be less attractive girls feeling like 1s. Also statistically, there are way less 8 girls that 4 women. So is easier to get a 4 women than a 8 women, simply because there are way more unattractive people than attractive people in the world.

And you'd be (rightfuly) shunned if you mention that in the real world. Not the same if you say is men's fault if a women can't find a good partner.

Yeah, but as a society most people don't really like accept the second one. "All men are pigs" is more accepted than "Women care about the face"
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/23 06:50 PM

no. 1 is true but is not focused on the correct idea. "Looks" is basically your face, not "clealiness/grooming". Remember all the women who were dating men who "didn't clean their ass cause is gay"?. It's well stablished being "dirty" is not as important to get a relationship, what's more important is how good your face look. It's not everything , which is where I disagree with in.cels, but matters more than most women like to admit.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/23 06:42 PM

Women can't find a good men => men's fault Men can't find a good women => mens' fault The true is, in today's world, decent people that you'd want as a partner, from all gender and sexes, are not as common as you think.

Not really, a lot of women somehow think if you can't get into a relationship as a man is because you're a loser/douchebag/sexist and they constantly make fun of in.cels and the like. When in true the most violent/sexist men usually don't have issues finding girlfriends.

The assumption women make is that men are choosing not to date, you'll never understand it because you're not a man, but basically a lot of men are invisible to women. Yes, even to single moms and fat women. But even if that's the case, which it isn't, but want to understand your logic, why would a man should settle for a women who doesn't make him happy? It's more of a spectrum. If you're attractive plenty of people will find you attractive, if you're ugly plenty of people will find you ugly. There's a reason why most peolpe find Margot Robbie or Chris Hemsworth attractive.

Oh yes, a small vocal portion of men do. Some women are golddiggers, are only interested in men who are 6' or taller or are just plain toxic. If you generalize that idea to "all women" you get (rightfully) called an incel, that's my point.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/23 06:48 PM

Just know that after thinking about it I agree with your original comment. Minus the "significant" part, it would be a lot smaller part than you think, but I agree on the rest.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/23 06:42 PM

Fine with that, there are toxic masculinity and toxic femininity. The issue is when people only accept one, or when they somehow twist things and say toxic toxic femininity is just a type of toxic masculinity.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/23 06:33 PM

Men who sleep around are a small demography of men, but women tend to generalize this behaviour, is one sexist ideology that is widely accepted today.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/23 06:31 PM

The men who sleep around don't need a pill to lower their testosterone to avoid having sex drive, they are sleeping around cause they are attractive. Then men who would take this pill will be an entirely different demography of men. Shit, I guess you're right. The men who look like Chris Hemsworth would never take it, they won't need to.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/23 06:29 PM
6

It may help men but will eventually mess with dating. Most women don't realize there are men who, if they just "focus on themselves" and don't proactively look for a date they will never end up in a relationship, this pill will make a lot of men to end up single, while leaving women to the more desired men who are more prone to cheat because they are desired by tons of women.

Because they have sex drive. This would remove that.

Absolutely. Biggest one for me is women thinking men who cant find a date it's because they are terrible people (i.e. If you aren't succesful at tinder, is because your profile suck) while not realizing women are the same except they're not affected due to men's desperation (Women suck at writing interesting profiles at dating apps too)

If you talk about personal experience is not really representative of the situation. I went back to college last year and my experience has been different than yours: Most of my male acquaintances are single or struggling to date while most of my female acquaintances are in relationships, ages ranging 17 to 25-28. It's becoming more accepted for women to have superficial standards, this leaves the majority of men outside the dating pool for a lot of women simply because most men are unattractive to most women. Dating apps and social media in general. Social narrative for women about "how is ok to be single" while for men is "if …

Same thing with women. Actually they are even worse. Had a female friend who had a blurry pic she took at the office. Still had tons of matches.

Because it's absolutely awful to reduce a complex human relationship with another person with a job, it's the same as guys who wants a girl with a big ass. But you're free to do whatever you want.

fwiw the "friend zone" is actually the "I'm not attracted to you but don't want to hurt you either so I'd just say we can be friends" zone.

Aaaand we're there. Don't know why it so hard to accept how easier it is for women. I said easier not easy. Dating isn't easy yeah obviously. but It's relatively easier for women than it is for men.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/23 10:01 PM

Absolutely. My point is plenty of women have terrible social skills too but they have it easier compared to men. Dating and sex is harder for men than it is for women.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/23 09:53 PM

Social skills have taken huge damage thanks to things like social networks, the Internet, and more recently, COVID. The thing is, it affects more men than women; most women with bad social skills who don't proactively act to find a partner eventually will be asked out by a man. Men who don't proactively act are fucked.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/23 09:46 PM

it's not a 1-to-1 relationship in sex. That's why there's so many single mothers, that's why some men have so many kids.

Oh yeah absolutely, you're 100% free of choosing if you want a partner with high n-count, regardles of your sex, gender and overall preferences. It's just that is more important for men than it is for women. You said it yourself, a man with high n-count "has a lot of qualities". A women with a high n-count does not. Getting laid for women is the easiest thing in the world. Getting laid for men requires a LOT of "qualities".

Did it. AMA. Define normal. I have a +100k year job, an apartment, a loving family, (very few but loving) friends, and actually getting more comfortable with my lack of success with women. Went back to college for a second degree and I've been witness of how much worse is for younger men nowadays.

Just want to say, sometimes there's really nothing "wrong" with ya'll. That's just the just-world falacy women loves so much. Or at least "wrong" in the sense of being a good person. Yes, the only difference between womanizers and an incel is that the womanizer has good social skills and is good looking.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/23 12:04 AM

Like some people already mentioned, a lot of men are annoyed by women dishonesty. Once we live in a society where women can openly admit they do care about looks heavily (which is slowly happening) I believe a lot of men will change the way they act.

/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/23 12:46 AM

That's in part why it gets easier for men. You can be 30 and date girls in their 20s. Bigger pool. Usually not the same for women.

Yes, there's always the "I'm attracted to men because they are nice at first". Most of my womanizer friends are straigh assholes from the begining and women still date them. And yes, now you'll say how "not all women are like that, those women don't have self steem". All the women my womanizer friends date are succesful, healthy mentally and overall nice people, they still date my friends and they are still shocked when they cheat.

onlyfans girls ≠ escorts which is what I assume OP is talking about since you cannot "visit" a onlyfans girl, they different. I'd agree with you on that part if we're talking about "onlyfans" girls, but escorts are defnitely more frowned upon by women than men.

Plenty of studies have show people in relationships are happier than single people. However, this idea isn't popular nowadays. We're witnessing a decline in relationships, whether you're a woman whose boyfriend asked her to cook food and now you're contemplating breaking up with him because he's being perceived as "sexist," or you're a man who just learned that his girlfriend has slept with 3 men and you think she's a "whore". Future generations are going to be so fucked.

/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/23 06:20 AM

Yeah, because women can't really tell where you're being a nice "person". Women aren't the moral compass that they think they are. Genuine Personality isn't as important when it comes to how they choose men. You can pretend to be a "nice guy" but if she doesn't find you attractive in other ways i.e physicially she won't date you.

This is were women don't understand it because they have different experiences. I know womanizers that date women who definitely don't fall into that category, they are succesful, attractive women and overall have great mental and social health. This s**t again? I see it once a week at least. Women never understand this A lot of women look really bad, are obese and use filters all the time. /r/PurplePillDebate15/09/23 01:26 AM

Agreed, but most of these things are a result of modern society. Movements like the body acceptance movement have taught people that the body doesn't matter. I disagree with the emotions part; mental health is incredibly accepted nowadays, and I don't know why people keep saying that men displaying emotions is an issue when it's more accepted than ever in society. And good luck trying to get help from schools or the government to create spaces focused on helping men.

Women's sexual liberation by far, women can be way more picky. Dating apps. Bad social skills have affected men more than women. A woman can have no social skills and the chances of being asked out by men is still exist. If you're a man with NO social skills, you're fucked.

But if the only thing preventing those average and below average men from living the fuckboy lifestyle is their looks, then there is a slim chance they'll actually treat a woman well. Yeah, only thing preventing a lot of men from being successful with women are looks: Personality isn't as important as women make it out to be. Looks are among the most important things even more than personality or at least at the same level. I agree with everything you say, but most women don't admit that part.

Improvement has nothing to do with money. You can enhance your self-esteem, personality, and beliefs without experiencing any kind of monetary growth. Women who automatically connect personal growth with money are being superficial. There's nothing wrong with that if it's your preference, but it is a shallow oversimplification of personal growth.

This again. Why women are so obsessed with age gap relationships? They're extremely uncommon, check for the statistics. Your average 50 year old isn't banging a 21 year old cheerleader, that's literally only the most succesful men doing it. As to why they do it because a lot of men think women are the most attractive when they are younger, so they do it. Just add it to the huge list of morally ambiguous things that only succesful and rich men can do but for some reason women think all men do.

If op were talking about women, the thread would have been deleted in minutes.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/23 06:05 AM

It isn't common. Most women think they are good at judgin character but they're not, "being nice" won't get you far with women, pretending to be nice will get you far. It seems a lot of people don't really see the original point I was trying to make.

We try to do it, but changing things like unattractive height or unattractive face is extremely expensive and time consuming if you're lucky or just impossible if you're unlucky.

Don't know but rich guys are like the 1% of all men, so it would still be extremely uncommon.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 06:18 AM

Also the majority of dating sites/apps have almost a 50-50 male/female userbase, tinder and hinge are the exception.

Most of my family married 8-10 years apart. Yes, that's why I said 20+ years. 10 years is more common.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 04:57 AM

Also look for stats, I think only like 5% of men date women with 20+ years difference. Age-gaps relationships are so uncommon, I don't understand why people are so obsessed with them.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 03:49 PM

Men and women see the world different. Women see desperation as red flag, because they have infinte number of options. Men see desperation as cute because usually we're alone with no options.

Yes. By that point the guy already got laid and got into a relationship. I'm not saying is the best thing to do, I'm just saying it works because women are really terrible at judgin character.

It's rather adecnotic experience. My best friend from college started watching anime because it's his Girlfriend's hobby. Another friend of mine started going to the gym because it was his girlfriend's hobby. This is more common that you'd like to imagine, and it happens both ways, it's not an "advantage for men"
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/23 08:48 PM
3

As a man, I 100% agree with you. There's a societal expectation that stems from years of sexism, suggesting that women 'shouldn't care about looks,' when they indeed care 100%, just like us men. It's a completely normal human behavior.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/23 07:57 PM

So, what advantages would you say men have in relationships that woman dont?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/23 07:55 PM

Absolutely, and men lie all to time to fit that judgment. That's the part they get wrong, you don't need to be a "genuinely" good guy to be succesful with women, you just need to emulate that behaviour.

The world is controlled by oligarchies that couldn't give two fucks about your sex or gender. Companies, universities and the like won't help men, go ahead, try to make course about men's mental health in your local university or talk to your manager about creating a program to help men and see how that goes, I still can't believe how people still deny it. Helping us each other can only get us so far, when we don't have society support.

Look at the emotional support system women create for each other, This system has been consistently backed up by politicians, companies, schools, legislation, and the like. Agree with what you say, but we absolutely need much more than "supporting each other".

Don't know what it is, in theory sounds like you're right but in my 30s and things have definitely change, I was asked out by a girl by the first time at 31. It's weird because it would seems you're doing a valid point but it's not that simple. If I have to guess there are other factors: At 30 there are more single women than men, add that you can now date women in your 20 and you have more options that women have, women technically can date men in their 20, but the average women doesn't like to…

In most cases the woman does not know he is a rapist That's my point. Women don't pay as much attention to personality as they like to say they do. Most of times physical appereance is way much more important. "Good guys" aren't getting "snatched" just because they're good people, that's just the Just-world falacy in action. In reality is not as important or at least women don't really pay that much attention to it.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/23 09:44 PM

They usually don't parade it around, you know? They keep it to themselves. My best friend from college has done something like that with his ex-girlfriends, from paying rent to helping them with car payments, and he only told me once when he was drunk. The day after, he told me to please keep it to myself.

Yes, TRP also has a lot of toxic beliefs, that's why /r/theredpill is quarantined unlike /r/femaledatingstrategy Is this something you really want to have said? the truth? Yes. Do people people think that men who aren't succesful at dating apps have better luck at cold approaching? Boy, I sure do have a surprise for you if you think that's going to be the case. The difference between apps and real life is that in real life you'll heard a "NO" most of the times, while on dating apps you're just ignored.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/23 03:53 PM

Even though I don't agree with what he's saying or how he's saying it, why should he lower his standards? The average man isn't a womanizer with tons of women behind him; we're pretty lucky if we have one girl interested in us. If he can choose younger women means he excels at something: looks, money or success, that's not something the average man has a lot of. He should be free to enjoy his sexuality. There's nothing wrong with that.

My man, don't need to take fictional literature as an example, in real life we have Gene Simmons, Jared Leto, Armie Hammer and an infinte number of examples of men who are complete shit and yet have no issues getting laid.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 10:07 PM

Let me guess... all those studies are based in asking people if they have sex, right? When they are asked, many women often claim that they haven't had many partners. This is due to societal conditioning that discourages women from engaging in multiple relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/23 01:02 AM

Never said they aren't average dudes getting laid, they absolutely are. We're talking about spectrums and probability. If you're physically unattractive the range of women who will find you attractive is going to be significantly smaller than a good looking dude. Doesn't mean you'll be virgin forever.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/23 12:47 AM

It's called a sample size, and yeah, it's not a perfect representation of the average dating experience, for sure, but they are definitely more reliable than the interviews-based studies and more reliable than a lot of people here like to pretend.

I'm talking about physical attraction only. Lebron and other famous men are sexy because they are rich and powerful. The average guy isn't Lebron. The women here discount physicial appereance too fast and like to pretend personality and other things matter more than they actually do, unlike how it happens in real life.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/23 12:17 AM

I've thought about this too. It's obvious that physical attractiveness isn't as subjective as people make it out to be; it's more of an unbalanced spectrum that tilts more to one side than the other. Unlike the one you shared, it would probably look more like this: https://blogs.sas.com/content/sastraining/files/2014/10/okc_rating_curve1.png The best way to determine if you're good-looking is through dating apps. If we're considering a more scientific approach, you can try asking girls in bars. …

The problem with those studies is that women are shamed for having a lot of partners. When they are asked, many women often claim that they haven't had many partners. This is due to societal conditioning that discourages women from engaging in multiple relationships. On the other hand, men are admired if they have a lot of partners, as society often encourages men to be more promiscuous. When asked, many men confidently state that they indeed have numerous partners. Studies where people are "int…

/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/23 05:37 PM

There aren’t enough eligible women out there either. It’s hard to take what a lot of women say seriously about relationships/marriage. What part you don't understand?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 06:50 AM

Kindness, respect, and good behavior do nothing to initially attract women. They are merely baseline expectations. Yes that's why rapist, muerderers and the like aren't never in relationships!. Men disillusionment is created due to women's dishonesty.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 06:48 AM
5

Obligatory not all women because that's true, is not the same for all women, but a lot of women want a man who is desired by other women. This is also why they think men shouldn't care about a women past sex life, because women don't care about a men's past sex life, in fact the higher the number the better for them. This is, however, another fact that women here will deny.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 06:17 AM

OPs point is a lot of women are attracted to men who have asshole-ish personalities but they don't like to admit it. Just the fact that you thought being an asshole is the same as "good looking men with social skills and interesting personalities with compatible lifestyles." says a lot about how women think.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 06:13 AM

Yep, same. Had some female friends in my office job before working remote, that's really where I learn how important are looks for women. I genuinely believe every men should befriend women so they can learn what they really care in men and learn the "personality and sense of humor" are really not as important as they like to pretend.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/23 04:22 AM

I didn't said he wasn't attractive, I'd say he's average. That why I said is a spectrum, obviously people's opinon will vary a little.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/23 04:14 AM

Attractivness is subjective, but not as much as people like to pretend. There's a reason what most women find Henry Cavill attractive and most men find Margot Robbie attractive. I also hate number scales, I'd say a "above average/average/not attractive/ugly" spectrum is more precise. MrBeast is definitely in the "not attractive-average" spectrum and the women he dates are definitely in the "average-above/average" spectrum. Power and money is attractive to women, who would have thought!

The Red Pill is a hyperbole of real-life facts, for example: Women do find power, money and status attractive. As you get older you can get both of those things. When you're young, there are more single men than single women, when you get older there are more single women than single men, you technically get more options as men. A lot of concepts in TRP community are hyperboles of real-life situations. I'm a man in my 30s and I've noticed a lot of girls I knew in my late teens-mid twenties look physically really bad which can be a surprise. And I know this could be said about men but because women find 80% of men unattractive, this is not a surprise to women. I didn't say anything about why you don't have success.I said only valuing a job as just a job is lame.

Would you say the same if it were a single women and encourage her to get into a relationship?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 04:57 AM

I'm sucessful at making money, I work at my dad's company and make 180k a year, I don't understand why ya'll having so much problem getting good jobs I really believe that any normal dude that just had natural success doesnt see a job just as a job.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 04:55 AM

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Just-world_hypothesis Just this thing over and over again. Plenty of men "Objetify" women and are successful with women. That's literally what a womanizer is.

Totally agree, but you'd be surprise how many people believe that.

What men want in women is not the same thing than women want in men. A women career's is not important for me, nor her social status, nor if she has power or anything like that. We simply don't care for the same things women care in men. We just want women who make our life easy emotionally, because life is already difficult enough for men. Everything else is a nice-to-have but not a deal-breaker, unlike it is for women.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 08:39 AM

Ya'll obsessed with the age gap thing. Very few 30-40 yo men will date 20 yo women. They're free to do it, just like very few attractive women will date rich men. They have their reasons, wish those people the best and hope they're happy.

unconsciously we both men and women put heavy importance in looks. There are a ton of studies that prove that women do it too, however for some reason, this fact isn't accepted in society. https://psycnet.apa.org/record/2023-58248-001

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Just-world_hypothesis If you're a good man you'll find a women. If you aren't a good man, you will have problems finding women. A lie obviously, specially because bad men get into relationships all the time, but makes people specially women feel secure because a lot of women like to think they're the ultimate moral compass for men.

Ya'll really obssesed with the age gap. The average redpiller doesn't want to get marry either, so I don't know where are you getting this.

It isn't. Is not any men's responsability to help on women's issues either.

I mean, that's actually low... have you seen how women rate men?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/23 05:49 AM

Every women I've ever meet has had a "dating an asshole story", even those who are "satisfied" when I meet them, they always had dated an asshole in the past. Why do you think this is so common? The majority of women have had negative experiences on dating, it's obvious that is common. Why do you think is like that when women can "sense personal values in men"?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/23 05:40 AM

Oh yeah, "your personal experience" over cuantificable studies. That's basically why it's not worth to discuss with some people.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/23 05:36 AM
4

So, if women get deceived by man, would be fair to say women, in general, really can't sniff the values as good as women think? You honestly think the redpill/blackpill nonsense posted here is "in sync" with reality? At least they tend to support their ideas with studies which can open discussion. Unlike when I see your type of comments is always empiric observation.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 06:58 PM

In your opinion, if women are able to smell out personal values, why do you think so many women date men who turn out to be "assholes"?. I know your username says you're a man, but are you a man? Your comments sounds like what women here post all the time, showing a "out-of-sync with reality" opinions.

Casual sex is bad for everybody. Men and women are still vastly different in the sex field, to women having sex affects their association with intimacy more than men, women also tend to form negative feelings after the act. So yeah, despite what women think here, it has a more negative impact on women than on men. Having said that, a smaller (than women) percentage of men also have reported negative experiences. Also most men who care about a woman with high body count are NOT the same men havin…

/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/23 04:21 AM

And I do not believe most single people are happy, much less older women.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/23 01:22 AM

For casual sex? Change wealthier, taller, stronger for more beautiful and yes, a good amount of men would do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/23 12:53 AM

Ignoring the age thing, I agree wit your title. I'm a men in my 30 and the amount of men I know that end up in relationships with women who behave in a way that if they were men people will call them "maniputalitve and toxic" is way too high. Among the most common things: women who abuse them physically, and emotionally.

Finally a decent comment from an "older" person. Generally "older" people talking about how wrong young generations are without truly understanding how much social norms have changed are the equivalent of boomers critizing younger folks for not buying houses. "Buying a house is so easy, I did it in my 20s". "Relationships are easy, you are doing something wrong obviously if you can't get into one!"

Money/Status in a woman doesn't matter as much as you think. A lot of women don't understand this fact. If she's attractive and fun, that's enough for a lot of men.

You assume the average women isn't a mess either. I'll give you the second point despite a lot of studies showing men-on-women relationship violence is more common than women like to admit, but I know it's still not the same thing.

No, like when I saw it happening tons of times back in college and when I was working at the office. My female coworkers and friends just going somewhere hand having men starting conversations. That's how most of their relationships started, they really didn't have to put the same amount of effort than men have to. I apologized, I see what you're saying, so I rephrase it: Socially speaking the amount of effort that a woman have to put to meet men it's very little compared to men. Is it better?

The issue with these type of men is that: 1) Most men consider themselves uglier than they actually are. This guys is probably higher than a 5. Low selfsteem and self image is a huge problem with men. 2) A lot of men have low standards with women "out of their league" may be a 6 or 7 and not actually a really attractive women. But they are indded out of their league. 3) You can absolutely go up 1 or 2 points with personality. But don't expect to date a 8 if you're a 4 with good personality

If you're attractive, age doesn't matter. It just happens that 20-something have higher chances of being attractive than a 40 yo. Doesn't mean a 40 yo attractive woman will have problems dating. Real sex and relationships are less and less sought after. Some studies have shown 40% of women would be single by 2030, following current trends would be ok to assume the % of men will be even larger, the number of sexless men is increasing each year. I think neural gagdets are going to eventually emulate the feeling that you get from real relationships, but to be honest I'd say we're pretty far from it.

In reality you can be decent and not having luck finding a girl who fins you attractive, you can also be a piece of shit and get laid constantly. Women just don't like to see it that way.

Haha. They're just people who want to have their emotional needs meet, there's a big taboo about it sadly.

And now you know how the average unattractive men feels about relationships and dating. Actually you don't feel as shitty as the average unattractive man, at least you have experience, have meet people and have had relationships, while the average unattractive man has not. Modern society is fuckin up romantic relationships in ways we cannot even begin to imagine, the next decades are definitely going to be interesting. As in "things are going to be bad but at least psychologist will have new mat…

It boils down to both men and women showing the same negative behaviours but men being the only ones who are punished. Are you a women and do you like a man who is out of your league? Don't worry, flirt with him and there's a good chance he'd agree dating or sleeping with you because of men heigh libidos, maybe he'll be your FWB while he's not out with his girlfriend. Are you a man and do you like a woman who is out of your league? You're shit out of luck. Are you a woman looking for a boyfriend…

No, that's something mostly women do. It's one of those things women don't comprehend that's is different for men.

As a man who likes to talk about the issues man face nowadays, I'll say this: Women in general have it way worse in the sexual abuse issue by a wide margin. Yes, some women abuse men, but nowhere as the same level than some men abuse women. Having said that, regardles of your sex and age I'll NEVER advice for you to get black out drunk, is plain stupid and unsafe.

Yes, I've said it before, men need to be realistic on what they can get and play in their league, specially if you're a unattractive man.

Don't worry they'll find a way to discard the studies. I've seen it thousands of times before.

It's almost as if physicial appereance isn't all, is just that it matters more than people like to admit.

That's because the 80/20 rule is just the name, obviously more than 80% of men are getting laid. I think is more of a 60/40, there's a very real imbalance but is not as bad as redpillers make it out to be. Not yet at least.

Yes, everybody knows this, women just hide it. If you have had close female friends at some point in your life you know the importance women put on physical appereance. This is not some new discovery my man.

If you're a man, woman would not approach you, much less if you're unattractive, and your success rate is low, talking about 10-20% in average. The very posibility of ending up alone forever is real. You see things different because you've never have this problem because you're not a man. I'm going to give an example you'll understand: "Man, women are sure scare of men approaching them in the street, they blow things out of proportion, this makes me believe women see men as predators" Would you …

Hey again, those are the man than women date. So it seems those terrible mysognisitic traits don't actually matter that much to women.

If that's what makes you feel confortable with the current situation sure. Plenty of men's only problem is that they are shy, unnatractive and have poor social skills, they aren't misogynist monsters. Funny thing is that the misogynistic monsters are the men that a lot of women date apparently by the way they write about their dating experience.

Oh agree. Men really need to get their shit together when it comes to their standards, understand what they can get and stop wasting so much energy in the wrong women.

Oh we're just getting started. My cousin is a middle school teacher and he say social skills in kids are fucked up, the covid lockdown didn't help either. We're about to see a shift in society like we've never seen before. Good luck if you have kids.

One of the fews things in life where women have a privilege, but society doesn't like to admit it.

The few ugly-ish guys I know are single but they always go for pretty women only, They've been feed the old "women don't care about looks" lie. I legit think this is one of the biggest issues nowadays, if they learned to date ugly-ish girls things would be way better for the average ugly-ish man.

Hell, women will most likely end up using it more than men due to the average women high standards. Most guys will only want a good looking woman that is pleasant to be around.

Yeah everybody is a little shallow, but if external traits are your only metric to choose a relationship, you're unhealthy shallow. It's okey if you prefer attractive women or men with money. But If that's the #1 trait you look for that's shallow. Everybody is at least a little bit shallow and there's nothing wrong with that.

The majority of women aren't attracted to the majority of men. So yeah you're probably right.

Choosing to be in a relationship with somebody for any reason other than his personality/sense of humor is shallow. Nothing wrong with that.

Copying and pasting a comment I read the other day but changing only one word: "Why should I care about men's women's struggle 🤷 " I'm a man. I know what men go through with relationships, I rather focus on men issues.

Sounds like you're trolling but you're not. That comparation is so silly in so many ways, the opinion of one person is of course anecdotal and irrelevant.Multiple people in multiple regions in a span of decades giving the same opinon has more statistical weight than your one friend "anecdotal evidence" Like I already said: If you want to really help those men focus on bringing awareness to men's issues and supporting social programs for men, because this situation will get way worse before it ge…

But how do you know if whether what you have seen or been told is real? Because I've heard it from multiple people in multiple cities? I understand what you're trying to say it's a nice feeling. You're the equivalente of a boomer telling z gen "you should go out and buy a house, I was able to do it so you can too" instead on focusing how fucked up the real state market is and find a way to fix it.

Yeah, all you need to win the lottery is to buy a ticket. Again, not saying it doesn't happen.
