Men protect women. Women: "Get away from us you misogynistic assholes! Don't you know we can take care of ourselves?! We need men like fish need bicycles!" Something really bad happens. Men sit on their hands. Women: "Why aren't men protecting us? They must hate women! Misogynistic assholes! Where did all the REAL men go?" Men: 🤷🏿‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Black women routinely refer to black men as "trash," "bullet bags," and "the weakest links," and then have the nerve to be upset when successful black men like me avoid them like the plague and date/marry women of other races. After all, the only way to win a game rigged against you is to not play. Non-black men see how black women are and avoid them too. At least for relationships--men of all races will pump and dump a black woman if she's hot enough. But few are hot as eighty percent of them i…

Is it this bad in the black community? Dude, it's worse than you imagine. I'm a black male, and I'm convinced the only group in America that hates black men more than the KKK does is black women. Black women's favorite subject seems to be trashing black men. Any social media space frequented by black women is full of black male hate. Black Twitter, for example. Reddit's Blackgirldiaries sub is essentially a black men hate sub; Blackladies is better, but it's hardly free of black male hatred. I'm…

Also, a man has to be careful about the company he keeps because you slowly become the people you associate with. If you mess around with fat bitches of either gender their bad habits will rub off on you and, before you know it, you're a fat bitch too.

I'm a black American, and my elderly mother thinks young black women in this country are fat, lazy, entitled, argumentative trash. I couldn't agree with her more.

I'm a black man. Generally speaking, American black women are fat, ugly, loud, ghetto (even the ones who aren't from the ghetto), and pains in the ass to deal with. And yet they're SHOCKED no decent man wants them. They whine it's because of racism and (when it comes to black men) internalized racism and self-hate. But, strangely, other American minorities like Asian women have no problem attracting and marrying men of all races despite racism allegedly being so rampant in the dating world. Blac…

Soon, we'll come full circle as women beg for patriarchy. There was a thread in a black femcel subreddit a little while ago where black women were wishing the patriarchy came back to the black community so black men would pay all their bills and the women could stop working.

I Googled this self-described "bad bitch" and, as I suspected, she's the typical American black woman: An overweight harridan who acts like she's a 15/10, secretly fears she's a 6/10, and is actually a 3/10. This particular "bad bitch" is not hideous, so she's good enough for a pump and dump. Rich men wetting their dicks in her have led her to believe that one of them will eventually commit to her. And yet, she's single. Everyone on this sub knows why: she's (barely) good enough for a man with o…

I'm a man in his late 40s and I don't care if a woman's kids are autonomous and out of the house--single mothers are still a hard no. Why sign up for their baggage when it's easy to date women without that baggage?

Many black women, even highly educated ones, have a taste for thugs, I’ve seen it in my own life. Ditto. When I was a young black guy keeping my nose clean and working hard to make something of myself, black women didn't want anything to do with me. They invariably went for the thugs. Now that I'm massively successful and they're hobbled by a gaggle of Tyrone's kids and a lifetime of bad decisions, they have the nerve to get mad when I ignore them and instead date younger and interracially.

You and /u/Jdamoftruth are both correct. Obese women get more attention from black guys. But those black guys aren't doing well in life. They hook up with obese women because, for both parties, it's the best they can do. Successful black men don't chase fat girls. They pursue the same sort of women all other successful men of other races pursue. Source: I'm a successful black guy with a lot of successful black friends.

When a guy who may not have much to offer declares that he'll only date fitness models whose fathers own distilleries, people point and laugh, yet when trash-tier women wonder aloud why the 6-6-6-6 guys aren't dropping to their knees, ring-in-hand, people act as if it's all some huge mystery. This is the fundamental difference between relationship/dating subreddits populated by men versus those populated by women. Why are the 4/10 always life long chad chasers or alpha widowed single mothers? If you're a dude who has been with really hot chicks, you learn they poop and fart and do stupid things just like average and ugly chicks do. In short, you learn they're nothing special. You start looking for less shallow and far rarer traits like loyalty, frugality, prudence, intelligence, etc. If you've never been with a hot chick, however, you tend to put them on a pedestal and worship them. I suspect the same hap…

I'm also black, and my experience with black women is the same. If I walk down the street alone, I'm invisible to black women. If I walk down the street holding the hand of an attractive non-black woman, black women react as if I'm spitting in their mouths.

The American story of African Americans from slavery to where you are today is an incredibly, amazing story of American exceptionalism they have managed to distort. I 100 percent agree. I knew my paternal great-grandparents because they lived to be in their 100s. They were born in slavery. The stories they told would curl your hair. The fact our family went from where they were to where we now are (full of middle class and upper class people who are lawyers, doctors, novelists, award-winning son…

It's like crabs in a bucket they meet a good guy and the others keep them single by convincing them they could do better even though they probably want that guy for themselves. Truth. There's a blues song made famous by a black Jazz Age singer named Bessie Smith whose lyrics say, "Girls, when you get good loving, keep the news to yourself." The idea being if you don't, your girlfriends will try to steal your man.

Though this "Got pregnant and want to keep the baby" post sounds fake, I personally know a married white woman who cheated on her white husband with a black guy, got pregnant, decided to keep the baby, and tried to pass the baby off as her husband's. Her plan worked fine when the baby was born since the infant looked white. As the baby aged and it became obvious he was biracial, all hell broke loose. I could write a book on what's wrong with American black women. I could write a book on what's wrong with black America in general, but that's not what you asked about. I'll focus on three main points. But there are many others. One, black women tend to be fat. According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, half of all black women are obese. Four out of five are at least overweight. I'm a fit, healthy guy. I'm not interested in a fatty. So that eliminates 80 percent of black wome…

The very idea of Steve Harvey (thrice married) and Oprah (never married) giving relationship advice is hysterical. And here's a life pro-tip from a black man: Never seriously date/marry an American black woman. They're almost all trainwrecks. The exceptions are so rare they're unicorns.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen27/07/20 05:21 AM

A lot of women seem puzzled as to why men only want them for sex. The thing they don't understand is that many of them are only good for sex. It's like running a store that only sells donuts, then getting mad when a customer comes in looking for a donut. Men: "Bitch, you only offer donuts. If I was in the market for a computer, I'd go to a different store."

I agree with you 100 percent. When you crush a game on tutorial mode, it's not fun--the system is designed for you to win. When you crush a game on hard mode, that's where true satisfaction comes from. Being a man is awesome. I would never want to be a woman. While I understand your point--that women, and black women in particular, are attracted to traits that aren't good for the larger society--Beyonce isn't with Jay-Z because he raps or drops the n word. She's with him because he's rich. He was a multi-millionaire when they got together, and he's a billionaire now. Contrast Jada's wretched and ratchet behavior with Camille Cosby's, the wife of Bill Cosby. While there's little doubt Bill is a vile predator, you didn't hear a peep out of Camille publicly shaming or attacking him. It might be a different story behind closed doors, but at least Camille had the decency and dignity to not impugn before the world the man she committed her life to.

AWALT, but black women take it to the next level. It's why successful black men like me avoid them. A rational person who marries someone like Will Smith would realize she won life's lottery and do everything humanly possible to make his life a heaven on earth and raise his kids well. Thanks for this. I just read some of the posts and they reinforced my decision to not get married despite every woman I've ever dated pressuring me to. Marriage is a fool's game for men. Pre-sexual revolution, it made more sense--men got sex in exchange for commitment. But now that the cows are giving the milk away for free? Ha! I'm glad there are so many women who want to expose themselves for my free viewing pleasure. With that said, I'd never date much less marry someone who posed naked for any reason. Even when a woman I'm interested in sends nudes to just me, I immediately downgrade her to plate status. As much as I appreciate a good body, a woman exposing herself indicates attention-whoring, insecurity, bad judgment, poor impulse control, and/or moral depravity, traits I don't want in a LTR and the potential mothe…

Dating is hard period, but dating as a black guy has its unique challenges. At least if you're looking for a genuine relationship; if you're just looking for sex, dating as a black man (at least in the U.S.) might be easier than it is for other men in light of how black male sexuality is so often fetishized. If you're a black man and want a black woman, good luck find one who's not fat, ugly, loud, man-hating, ghetto, lazy, entitled, or all of the above. Black women who aren't those things exist…

To some women these days, any person who criticizes any woman for any reason is a misogynist. They're doing women a real disservice. For, when an instance of real misogyny crops up, a lot of men just roll their eyes and assume it's yet another instance of a girl crying wolf again.

Women in their 30’s are THE WORST. They sorta mellow out on their 40’s. As someone in his 40s, I couldn't disagree with you more. AWALT. Women behave like women, regardless of their age. It's why I tend to date women in their 20s--if I'm going to put up with a barrage of BS, at least I'm going to get minimal baggage, a tight body, and an unwrinkled face in exchange.

God, this story hits me in the feels. I once left my then girlfriend at my place while I went to work. When I returned that night, she had thrown away a well-worn item my beloved grandmother had given me. In her defense, she didn't know my grandmother had given it to me. But still. I dated a former fat girl who, though hard work and dedication, transformed herself into a hot chick. Men from long before our time knew this. They knew it even in the Bronze Age. Check out what the Bible's book of Proverbs says about women: Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies. The heart of her husband safely trusts her; So he will have no lack of gain. She does him good and not evil All the days of her life. If a woman is not "getting" commitment from the people she wants it from, then she simply does not measure up to the standards of that class of people. Precisely. If a woman is single for a long period of time and doesn't want to be, it's because she's not good enough for the type of guy she wants. This woman is easily in the top 15 percent of black women body-wise. Not because she's objectively hot; she isn't hot compared to the overall female population. But she IS hot compared to other black women specifically. Nearly 70 percent of black women (at least in the US) are either overweight or obese. They're gross. This woman is chunky, but she's not as fat as most black women are. In short, you're right: a lot of black men would sleep with this woman because she's hotter than the average bl…

I know a chubby woman in her early 30s who sells risque pictures of herself via Patreon. Her big, natural boobs are her best feature but, even sporting them, she's at best a 5.5 or a 6. She makes over $100,000 a year from Patreon alone, and she's not even doing it full-time. Lots of dumb fuck simps out there. You ain't lying.

Also, look at the publishing industry. The most popular genre by far is romance, and romance novels are written and read primarily by women. Since it's a billion-dollar industry, it's safe to say romance novels are an accurate reflection of what women want in their heart of hearts. Here is the plot of 99 percent of them: Average woman meets alpha bad boy, who for some inexplicable reason is smitten by her despite her averageness. Something or someone is keeping them apart. Alpha bad boy proves h…

The woman in this post is black. It's tough for black women (at least in the United States) to find loving, committed relationships because black women are stereotyped (rightly so, in this black guy's opinion) as being fat, loud, obnoxious, difficult, immoral, materialistic, extremely hypergamous, and overall pains in the ass. It's why they're seen as the least desirable group of American women. The rational response to this would be for black women who want good relationships/marriage to do eve…

I skimmed through the video and something struck me that has occurred to me before: Porn stars aren't that attractive. With a few exceptions, they tend to be average to slightly above-average looking women. My theory about this is that really hot women don't have to get dicked down on camera to make money off their looks. They can act, model (I'm including the girls who make a living off of social media when I say "model"), or hook up with a guy who will support them.

Exactly. It's called aposematism. Humans exhibit it too. Western women who are unsuitable for LTRs exhibit it by getting tattoos, piercing their bodies in any place other than their ears, and dyeing their hair strange colors. I'd also argue that obesity is a form of it.

Don't underestimate the power of tradition. It makes people do things without even questioning why. Scott Adams, the creator of Dilbert, says humans are "moist robots." I didn't see that other comment, but I agree. My derogatory comments about black women are specifically about African American women. The average black woman doesn't want a decent, levelheaded black man. She wants a thug. Women in the western world have it better than royalty did 100 years ago. So much this. I'm heartily sick of women complaining about how oppressed they are. Historically, they can make an argument about being oppressed, particularly women who wanted to work outside the home. But in 2019? GTFOH. In the West, women are the most privileged group in human history.

A woman I know broke down crying in front of me because, as she put it, "I can't find a man to take care of me.' By "take care of," she meant economically. She was making almost $200,000 a year at the time. You're right--most women can't wrap their heads around the idea of dating down economically. And when they do, they grow to resent the guy who won't "man up" and start making more money than she does.

I believe the point of the post is that women deny sex (or maybe simply lose interest in it) after they've married a guy and he can no longer simply walk away. They're not going to withhold sex while dating because they're still in the process of pleasing the man and luring him into marriage.

If it's written or spoken by a woman, it has neither merit nor value. I read a lot and subscribe to a daily email newsletter that sends me a list of discounted ebooks. Despite the fact he's about to ruin his life, your friend is still that--your friend. If there's anything my 40+ years have taught me, it's that you should cling to your friends for dear life. They're hard to come by. If your friend did something to hurt you, maybe then you'd stop being his friend and supporting him, dependi…

And here I thought I was the only one who thought that about Legends of Tomorrow. I thought season one was a fun, campy superhero show. Season two transformed into feminist propoganda, i.e. women are smart and tough, whereas men are either evil or bumbling idiots who need the guidance of women. I guess I should have expected that from a female-centric network like the CW. I haven't decided if I'll bother watching the third season on Netflix when it becomes available there.

The reason why black women have a hard time in the dating marketplace, especially in the United States, is not because they're black. It's because they tend to be fat cunts, they celebrate being fat cunts, and they encourage their friends to be fat cunts. Few successful men, black or otherwise, want to put up with their nonsense. Speaking as one of those successful black men, I gave up on black women as potential romantic partners years ago.

Almost all of my ex-girlfriends have contacted me long after I broke up with them to tell me when they were getting married. They did it thinking it would make me jealous. In reality, I thought, "I got to have sex with you on demand when you were younger and hotter. Now some other dummy has to take care of the used plate I ate off of. I win."

I'm older than the original poster, but his experiences with black women are identical to mine. It's why I, a successful black man, won't even consider them as romantic partners. Black women showed me their true colors when I wasn't successful, and I haven't forgotten it. Will Smith said it best: "If you were absent during my struggle, don't expect to be present during my success."

The no "obese hairy men with tits bigger than mine" line tells you what she looks like. She's the kind of woman those guys approach, which means she's ugly; otherwise those guys wouldn't hit on her. Guys tend to be more self-aware than women and know their value on the sexual market. A guy who's a 2 is not going to approach a 10 because he knows he doesn't have a shot. He goes after 1s and 2s. Looks-wise this chick is at best a 2. Personality-wise, she's a negative 200. The no blacks, Asians, an…

I gave up on black women as romantic prospects years ago. All women are pains in the neck to some extent, but black women are in a class by themselves. They're seen as the least desirable race of women for good reason. I'd feel sorry for them if it weren't for the fact they bring their lack of desirability on themselves. I'm referring to American black women, by the way. Black women raised in other cultures where ghetto attributes aren't celebrated can be okay.

And I think this is a major gender difference. Most men who aren't depressed incel types try to get a better job and work out to attract a mate. A woman who feels outgunned on the dating scene opts for shame, heckling and other childish behavior rather than self-improvement. Exactly. The "healthy at any size" movement is the perfect example of this. My penis can't be argued and shamed into getting erect over a woman who makes the ground shake with every step she takes.

Because daughters don’t know how a man is supposed to act, the fatherless see men as disposable wallets once they’re older. That's part of the issue. I think most black men who tend to date interracially--and I'm one of them--do so because black women tend to be fat (80 percent of black women are at least overweight; 50 percent are obese) and/or a pain in the ass to deal with because of their bad attitudes.

I think it's because women ape the behavior of men they're attracted to. They think, either consciously or subconsciously, "I'm attracted to loud, aggressive, tattooed men, so I'll become those things too and the guys I'm attracted to will be attracted to me." Little do they realize men and women tend to not be attracted to the same things. It's why women are shocked and dismayed when they become highly educated and wealthy, yet can't find a man. Fat girls love talking about other people's habits and appearance. I think it's a form of projection. Years ago I wore a new shirt to a work function. An obese woman who worked in a different department than I and whom I barely knew came up to me and said, "Do you really think that shirt is an appropriate thing to wear here?" The shirt was a little brightly colored, maybe, but otherwise it was fine. So I said, "I can change this shirt in 10 seconds. How long will it take you to lose all that wei…

Yeah, the people who say she looks good for 48 are blind. Not that I believe she's only 48-years-old anyway. Actresses (and actors too, for that matter) lie about their age as a matter of course. My guess is Catherine is in her early to mid 50s.

I'm also black. Black women are garbage. I won't hire one, I definitely won't date one, and I avoid them whenever possible. EDIT: When I say black women, I'm referring to black women raised in the United States. Black women in the U.S. are given a license to be wild animals. Some black women raised in other countries are all right, depending on the woman and the culture she was raised in.

Women want an ESTABLISHED guy. You're exactly right. Years ago I worked for a big business making a lot of money, but had dreams of opening my own business. I told a woman during our second date that I planned on eventually starting that business. She tried to talk me out of it because, and I quote, "I'm not going to date someone who's struggling." I thought "Fuck you" and never saw or contacted her again.

A fat, ugly lard ass tries to get sexudal with attractive women and the women are repulsed and disgusted by him. Remember, though, we're just hearing from and about the women who rejected Weinstein. I suspect there are plenty of other women who hopped on his dick and rode it to a career. A guy like Weinstein is not going to keep aggressively hitting on/harassing women unless the tactic sometimes worked. In fact, knowing how mercenary women are, I suspect it worked more often than it didn't.

I'm not a Trump fan overall, but posts like this one are why I'm so glad his Secretary of Education has taken steps to reverse the Obama era dictate to colleges that had the effect of them assuming rape accusers were telling the truth and them expelling accused male students without due process. Some women tell the truth when they say they were sexually assaulted. Others are filthy liars.

Oh please. Both sides twist the language around to try to put their positions in the best light. For example, when the right wants to cut rich people's taxes, they don't call them rich people. Rather, they're "job creators." The estate tax becomes the "death tax." Judges who don't rule the way the right wants become "activist judges." I could go on and on. To say the left is the only side guilty of spinning language around is silly.

I'd add to your points that urbanization contributes to the increased divorce rate. When women were in rural areas on farms, as most women were not too long ago, they had fewer opportunities to cheat/branch-swing because they had fewer options. Now, with more and more people living in town and cities, women are exposed to an endless buffet of dicks they can sample from.

If she's demanding a ring of a certain value, RUN. Especially when she knows you're a student and (I presume) on a limited budget. In the eyes of the law, a wedding ring is considered a "gift" and can legally be obtained back if the marriage never went through. At least that's how it is in the US. It depends on the state. Different US states have decided this issue differently.

The reasons why I make the "American black women are garbage" assertion are numerous. Here are a handful: (1) 82 percent of black women are overweight or obese; (2) 56 percent are straight up obese; (3) Black women have bad attitudes. The "angry black woman" stereotype is a stereotype for a very good reason--it tends to be true; (4) Higher than average rates of STDs; (5) Black women, who tend to be hard to get along with anyway, are particularly hard to get along with if you're a black man. I'm a former divorce lawyer, and here's the answer to your question (at least in the U.S. states I'm familiar with): Unless the person who broke up the marriage did something really egregious, judges don't much care who broke up the marriage and why. Women put on the facade of having friends, but they hate each other. So true! A small example of that is when a woman walks up to a group of her friends and gets complimented effusively on her outfit. When she walks away, 100 percent of the time the group immediately starts trashing how she looks in the outfit they had been gushing over moments before. Behavior like this makes it unsurprising women hate other women.

She said she thought the testers were criminals. She was not tested that day as a result of the hullabaloo. Maybe she really did think they were criminals. People pursue their self-interest and want the best for themselves, and there's nothing wrong with that.

I've said it before in this sub, but it bears repeating: I'm a black male, and I figured out long ago that most American black women are garbage. And the bizarre thing is, because of the diva culture you mentioned, even the 1s and 2s (and let's face it, most of them are 1s and 2s thanks to rampant obesity) act like they're 9s and 10s.

I went to a family gathering of my last serious girlfriend. Her adult cousin Jane and Jane's parents were there. Jane looked nothing like her father. She was, however, the spitting female image of her father's best friend. When I mentioned this to my girlfriend, she said it was pretty much an open secret that Jane's "father" wasn't her biological father. Apparently everyone knew but Jane and Jane's father.

It sounds like you're into presidential history and biographies. If you have a chance, check out The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt by Edmund Morris. It won a Pulitzer Prize in biography. It reads like a novel. It's one of the best and most interesting non-fiction books I've ever read. Now that I'm thinking about biographies, David McCullough's Truman is really good too.

Fourth, a tablet/eReader can save you a lot of space. No matter how grand it feels to leaf through a deadtree edition, you will sooner or later run out of space. An electronic reader can save you a lot of hassle. Plus popular books are often cheaper this way. As a book lover/addict, my Kindle Paperwhite is the single best thing I've bought in the past decade. I must admit I still prefer reading an actual paperbound book if I had my druthers, though.

Just today I watched a PBS Frontline documentary about Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton that made me think of your post. The documentary talks about how Trump put a woman in charge of building Trump Tower in New York City, back when putting a woman in charge of major construction like that was unheard of. As a corollary, I also believe this is why an accomplished hottie is really fucking good at what she does. Have you ever read Kurt Vonnegut's short story Harrison Bergeron? It talks about the absurdity that results if you treat everyone as if they are equal who deserve the same pay and outcomes even when they clearly aren't and don't. For one thing, it sets a dangerous precedent for an incoming President to criminally go after the party that just lost, and a lot of Republicans know that. Agreed. A couple of weeks ago something similar happened to me. I was in my local coffee shop working on something. A girl I had seen before sat at the table next to me. I was busy, so I ignored her. After a few minutes, she stood up, turned around, and made a big show of pulling her pants up with her butt literally inches from my face. She did it several times over the course of a few minutes before she gave up and left. Years ago I would have thought she was just adjusting her pants. Now I kno…

Years ago I went to a bar with my then girlfriend, her roommate Tiffany, and several other people. Tiffany was a 6 on a good day. She saw a really good-looking guy across the room who was way out of her league. After about thirty minutes of talking about how hot the guy was and fortifying herself with liquid courage, Tiffany finally went over to him. Did she strike up a conversation with him, though? No. When she got to him, she chickened out. She stood up on the couch he sat on with her butt fa…

Pornstars are women who have resorted to sex on camera. Not the cream of the crop. Exactly! if you come from good genetic stock, chances are you would never become a porn star. It's no wonder some of these girls look a hot mess without makeup--they have shitty genes. Plenty of women have good genes and look good to fantastic without makeup. The pornstar population is the wrong subset of the population to be extrapolating from.

I don't agree with you on Gates' wife. She met and married him after he was already rich. She did not help him build his financial empire. Though the two of them are doing a lot of good work in the world with his money, when it gets down to it, really all Melinda is doing is helping Bill spend it. MostAll women are naturally good at that; it's their one built-in superpower. And, it's not as though Melinda is eating only beans and rice and living like a nun while helping to spend his money. Some women--and some men, for that matter--will never be satisfied. Years ago I was living in a big city and my Dad and his then-fiancee came to visit me. If it had just been my Dad he would have stayed at my place. But since he was bringing his fiancee, I rented them a room at a really nice hotel nearby so they could have some privacy. As I was making more money than I knew what to do with at the time, I paid for it. The day after they arrived, my Dad pulled me to the side. He apologetically as…

Lawyer here. On top of that, I practiced divorce law for a while. Not marrying is the smartest thing I have ever done. I will NEVER marry. Under the best case scenario, you get to have sex with only one person for the rest of your life. And yes, that is the BEST case scenario, not the disadvantage you would think it would be. If I ever wanted to have children my thoughts would probably be different as the evidence is irrefutable children do better raised in a two-person household. But since I do…

You are exactly right. Jewish women are just that--women. They will fuck a man of any race and come back for seconds and thirds if his SMV is high enough. A black man's SMV has to be off the charts high to marry a Jewish woman, though, especially if she comes from a tight-knit family.

I hear what you're saying as far as this particular woman not looking 28, but her having a law degree does not mean she's not 28. In the US (I'm not sure where you and the woman are so this might not apply to you) a law degree is typically earned after four years of college and three years of law school. You graduate with a Juris Doctor degree, and it is definitely considered a graduate degree. Lots of people get a JD at or before the age of 28. I did, and I took two years off after college to w…

I never understood why he married her. It just goes to show that having a ton of money doesn't magically make you sensible when it comes to women. The hysterical thing is when you see interviews with Melinda Gates, the way she talks about her and her husband's money, you would think she single-handedly worked her fingers to the bone earning it instead of simply marrying into it.

I agree, a woman not being overweight/fat is unusual. Here's how normalized obesity has become: I grew up in the Deep South of the US. When I was a kid, the female local news anchors there were universally thin and attractive. Fast forward 30 years to now. Now, every single local news channel in the media market I grew up in has at least one fat female anchor. On one channel in particular, that's all they have. It's a reflection of how how obesity has ballooned. Pun intended.

To drill down a bit into a portion of the population in that 40% figure cited by OP, over half of black American women are obese. Over 82 percent are overweight or obese. Johnson thought Kennedy was a lazy, unserious, do nothing Senator who had only gotten elected to the House and then later the Senate because his father was rich. The Kennnedys thought Johnson was an uncouth, uneducated, power m…

I agree with your point, but wanted to add a historical footnote. Only one person became President as a bachelor, namely James Buchanan. He is widely considered to be the worst President in U.S. history. Also, a lot of historians think that he was gay.

She's doing TV because she's a post-wall black woman in Hollywood who never was a great actress even in her prime. No one is beating down her door to get her in their movie.

I agree with your first sentence 100 percent. I actually meant to say something similar in my first post.

People view JFK through rose colored glasses because he was assassinated, but he wasn't a particularly good President. The Bay of Pigs debacle, him dragging his feet on civil rights, and him sticking his penis into everything that moved, allowing him to be in put in the position of being blackmailed by FBI Director Hoover all spring to mind.

The average woman's hypocrisy knows no bounds. A female former friend of mine (let's call her Sue) dated a guy (let's call him Sam) for years and discovered he had cheated on her. She discovered this when the woman he cheated on her with called Sue to tell her she was pregnant with Sam's baby. Sam breaks up with Sue and marries the woman he knocked up and they go on to have a couple more kids. Sue justifiably would periodically talk about what cheating pieces of shit Sam and the other woman are.…

You are, I am assuming, referring to Democratic Sen. Robert Byrd of West Virginia, who served from 1959 until 2010, and died (if memory serves) in office in his 90s. You've got to put him in historical context, though. The Democratic Party pre- and post-Civil War was basically the party of racial oppression (Lincoln was a Republican, after all, and the Repubican Party was created, in part, as a reaction to the existence of slavery), and almost all important offices in the South were held by Demo…

You've hit the nail on the head. Most American black people are hard-working, not looking for a hand-out, religious, and socially conservative. (Contrary to what pop culture would tell you, it's the minority of black people who are thugs and living on the government teat. A very visible minority, but a minority nonetheless.) If it weren't for the recent history of race-baiting and racial fear mongering by some elements of the Republican Party (from Southern whites fleeing the Democratic Party in…

That women generally only want to get married, but not be married is evident in what the woman in the original post wrote herself: "I eventually confronted him if we are ever going to get married and he told me it will be a couple months after his younger sister's wedding. I was ecstatic, and I started making plans on who would be my bridesmaids, where it would be, all the little details."

I consider myself an amateur Theodore Roosevelt scholar, and the two best (both from an accuracy standpoint and readability standpoint) biographies about how TR developed into the man he became are Mornings on Horseback by David McCullough and The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt by Edmund Morris.

I'm a black man, and it's gotten to the point where I almost expect to be treated disrespectfully by black women. Almost regardless of the context--whether a restaurant, department store, bookstore, wherever--the average black woman waiting on me treats me with attitude and/or disrespect, whereas her attitude is almost 100 percent better when she deals with white men. It's sickening to watch. I had this phenomenon flair up at my job years ago--I shared a newly-hired black secretary with a white …

And, unfortunately in the American black female community, being big is considered normal, even celebrated. As I have mentioned in other threads, 80 percent of American black women are overweight or obese. 8O PERCENT!!! 50 percent are obese. This is a health crisis in the black community, but nobody seems to want to raise a stink about it because nobody wants to appear to be racist or culturally insensitive. Black women are the canaries in the coal mine I fear as the larger society seems to be h…

I'd like to point out that the user name of the woman doing the complaining is "SuperTitty." I'm shocked, shocked I say, that someone calling herself SuperTitty is shallow.

I also took a women's studies class in college, mainly because I had a hole in my schedule and was looking for something that wasn't challenging. I too just parroted back everything the two professors said. The only other guy in the class argued with their crazy points all semester and wound up getting a D. He called me up after the grades were released, complaining about being discriminated against and how we needed to complain. I told him I felt for him but that I wasn't going to complain abou…

Over 80 percent of American black women are overweight OR obese. About half are obese. Still shockingly high numbers, but still not the 80 percent are obese "fact" you cited.

My favorite is when a woman says, "I didn't get my boobs done to get more attention from men. I got them for me. My clothes didn't fit right before." Don't kid yourself honey.

I don't admire Putin from a political standpoint, but it's hard not to admire him from a masculinity standpoint. Have you all heard about what happened when Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots football team, visited the Kremlin not too long ago? Putin asked to look at his Super Bowl ring. Kraft took it off his finger and handed it to Putin. Putin looked at it, slipped it in his pocket, and walked away. I think the ring wound up being displayed in a Russian museum somewhere. Putin is …

I don't know about the above numbers, but I do know that statistically white men are absolutely more likely to commit suicide in the US than any other sex or racial group, even when you take into account white people's greater numbers. Freakonomics did a podcast on this topic a while back. Some experts think it's because the narrative in this country for a lot of white men is you're white and a man in the US, so things are supposed to be awesome for you. When things suck, the white guy thinks he…

The obesity rate is even higher in certain parts of the country and in certain racial groups. For example, people in the Deep South and black women have much higher overweight/obesity rates than the rest of the country.

Years ago I was on a treadmill at the gym next to a pregnant woman who, from the size of her belly, looked like she could give birth at any second. Other than her belly, though, she was very svelte and you wouldn't even know she was pregnant if it weren't for her basketball sized stomach. She wasn't running on the treadmill, but she certainly was walking very fast. A bit later I saw her lifting light weights in the weight room. I was so impressed by her I wanted to go and shake her hand. If only…

On a related note, TR went in for a check-up, I think when he was in college, and was diagnosed with some sort of heart defect. The doctor advised him to avoid stress, rigorous exercise, dangerous situations, etc. TR's response was that if that was the kind of life he had to live, he'd rather be dead anyway, and proceeded to do everything the doctor told him not to do. TR is such a badass. For those of you who haven't read The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt or Mornings on Horseback, I highly recomme…

What I'm about to describe happened at a coffee shop and not a club. It was first thing in the morning, and I'm in line at a Starbucks in downtown D.C. before work. The line is long and literally out the door, I'm about six people from the front. A pretty hot woman walks in. Hot woman sees someone she knows who's maybe third or fourth from the front of the line and jumps the line to talk to her. The friend is a middle aged woman. After a few moments it becomes obvious that the hot girl is using …
