You literally have no rebuttal for my essential point and have responded with "what" to 50% of my arguments. My work here is done. Nice talking with you :)

You will have to grow up eventually I'm afraid. I understand the call of fantasy, though. I give into it as well in other ways, as do many.

Like you don't like to live in reality. A bit of a dreamer. Not interested in what's practical.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/18 02:28 PM

So you are fanciful, essentially.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/18 12:53 PM

Haha okay. But how can you get bored when they speak? It seems like you have kind of fetishized women tbh. Like you don't really like them. I genuinely like both male and female conversational styles, so I find this point confusing. Depends on the woman, I guess. But even so.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/18 12:27 PM

Would you say you like women? Genuinely? I thought you were redpill for some reason. Those guys spend too much time with women and then turn around and say they think they are evil. That is what I find meaningless essentially. To spend time with a group of people you can't stand. If you are claiming to like women, why are you friends with only men? I've always had friends of both genders so I don't relate.

There are aspects of this that I buy into. Like the part where you say the chase is part of your masculinity. I always saw building things and providing as central to masculinity. That said, I can get behind the chase mentality. I also understand that you must value what you are doing if you do it. That said, redpill men treat sex like it's nothing and then turn around around and say it is everything. At a certain point, aren't you taking the very thing you claim to value and turning it into a j…

Yeah. I think your post speaks for itself. You have a hole in your heart, essentially. Grown men should have emotional support from someone other than their mother. And if your sense of fulfillment comes from meaningless sex, you have essentially done nothing with your life. You have built nothing. You have no legacy to speak of. I actually do have genuine compassion for that.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/18 11:32 AM

I was joking, but to be honest I actually do feel sorry for guys like that. It's sad. They are pretty much alone in life. And the AWALT attitude proves my point. A bunch of men sleeping around because they are afraid of getting hurt. Drifters, basically. Years wasted chasing pussy and no love to speak of. Who will miss you when you die? I actually do have a soft spot.

Right. At a time. I'm talking about your lifespan. Don't hide your real number behind a facade of serial monogamy.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/18 10:16 PM

Haaaaaaa cue the men who suck at relationships crying about their crappy people skills 😂😭 look it up. More than 6 sexual partners and your enjoyment of sex goes down 10% per person. Google scholar that shit. Quit running, man up and learn to look a woman in the face.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/18 10:15 PM

What are you even talking about? Sounds like you are aware that you are beneath most men or you wouldn't be comparing yourself with them constantly or sacrificing quality for quantity. For anyone unsure of why less is more, please see the above. You don't want to come off like you are in a dick measuring contest. We all know yours is lesser or you wouldn't be in competition mode. That said, if her having fucked a bunch of guys turns you on, consider polyamory or a fetish community. There are way…

What? I have sex every day and with the same person I have been with for 12 years. Missionary position maybe once a month. Find better partners.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/18 05:11 PM
2

1 is ideal, but only if you are still fucking that person. Celibacy is not the goal. Over 5 and you are essentially failing at human relationships. Unless you just had a rocky path and are turning things around. Or, if you are polyamorous. Even then, low numbers are better for the sake of relationship maintenance.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/18 05:09 PM

Men and women should both strive for low n count. It shows higher levels of relationship success and selectivity.

You look the same.
/r/seduction15/09/18 02:01 AM

It seems to me that you are only interested in evolutionary theory so long as it agrees with your point that men are disposable to women. What kind of crappy selection process do you think would involve women being blindly devoted? How would that be beneficial at all in terms of screening for the best possible genes? If a man is basically subpar why would he get to keep a partner? And a man's love is no more unconditional if it evaporates the second he is rejected. You are only interested in evo…

While I agree that hypergamy exists I think it needs to be exercised responsibly. My argument is that hypergamy combined with passionate love is the ideal women strive for. This striving for what may seem impossible/irrational is actually just women attempting to select for strong genetic information while looking for protection from for children. These are honourable goals.
/r/MensRights14/09/18 02:04 PM
1

No I don't think men should be chosen without there being actual love involved. I ultimately think you and I are on the same page. So long as you think some practical considerations make sense.
/r/MensRights14/09/18 01:17 PM

I'm not sure why this conversation needs to be framed within the context of anthropology. I must be missing something.
/r/MensRights14/09/18 04:03 AM
1

I actually just haven't the faintest idea what you are talking about. I'm pretty sure you don't either.
/r/MensRights14/09/18 03:51 AM
0

I think we are looking at hypergamy in two different ways. If all you are saying is that women should occasionally marry down, I agree. It's if you are suggesting they shouldn't want the best partner available that I disagree.
/r/MensRights14/09/18 02:20 AM
1

If this is a concern, perhaps people need to get married despite hypergamy. Women can't change their natures, nor should they be forced to remain with men who can't provide for their children or who don't contribute genetically. Also, reproduction can occur outside of marriage if people are hesitant to make that commitment. But I ultimately agree with you that both women and men have to overcome this fear of hypergamy and try if they want marriage.
/r/MensRights14/09/18 01:56 AM
1

Societies in which this is the case have significant increases in war and poverty because the wealth gap is so huge and rich men take all of the women. Fact. It's not that hypergamy isn't a thing. It's that women are already with the only rich guy in their little town and the peasants are off killing each other. Men can't keep women they don't provide for. Period.
/r/MensRights14/09/18 01:42 AM
1

That's exactly what I am talking about. Natural selection at its finest.
/r/MensRights14/09/18 01:25 AM
1

Right. But that's because of the interference of birth control and bad economy. Not because of hypergamy.
/r/MensRights14/09/18 12:17 AM
2

Yeah fair. Me neither.
/r/MensRights13/09/18 10:28 PM
2

It is clear that you are confused and don't understand the evolutionary theory you subscribe to. I am leaving this conversation because I can't continue talking to someone who doesn't understand the basics of evolutionary theory.
/r/MensRights13/09/18 09:44 PM
1

What? One minute you want me banned for "dismissing" hypergamy and now for agreeing it exists? I just don't conceptualize natural selection as "evil" or as "using" because natural selection isn't about you. It's about all of humanity. It must benefit the species as a whole or it wouldn't be an evolutionary fact.
/r/MensRights13/09/18 09:34 PM
1

No. I think women select in order to benefit the development of the species. AWALT. But hypergamy must benefit humanity or it wouldn't be an evolutionary fact. It's not about being "shitty" it's about natural selection.
/r/MensRights13/09/18 09:24 PM
0

What? I'm beyond dismissing hypergamy. It's essential to the evolutionary process. Having a theory built around evolutionary theory which suggests that women have evolved incorrectly is ridiculous. Women are that way because it actively benefits the species. I'm not sure if this opinion is feminist or not, it's intended as realism. Wake up man. And I don't use tinder either. I was referring to the CEO.
/r/MensRights13/09/18 08:58 PM
1

I actually think maybe you just don't care right now. You say you are desperate, but how can you "forget"? It's like riding a bike. Keep practising. Or don't if you aren't interested right now. I guess first tip would be just keep at it.
/r/askTRP13/09/18 07:01 PM
1

But then who would you guys meet on Tinder? 😜😭 Edit: I am referring to the CEO of tinder and his silly business decision to announce that women shouldn't use Tinder because that would make Tinder much less popular. Not implying that everyone on this sub is using Tinder or laughing about Tinder use.
/r/MensRights13/09/18 06:50 PM

I am not going to lie, I didn't make it through the article. But, in my opinion any form of masculinity that involves contributing is healthy. I think masculinity is only toxic when it's about overly aggressive competition over sex. Because that's a recipe for self loathing for the men (always comparing themselves to others) and for treating women badly. Loner type mentalities are what is toxic, not masculinity itself.
/r/MGTOW13/09/18 06:47 PM
1

More so, IMO because men are more likely than women to have multiple partners. It's a different thing they are looking for, but equally opportunistic.

Sounds like a lame party.

/r/askTRP11/09/18 06:12 PM

Relax. At a certain point this fear of hypergamy becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy when you run from every woman you like. Sometimes fear of hypergamy actually amplifies it. Enjoy the positive feelings and chill out. Also make sure to maintain your own hobbies and interests so you have personal confidence.

Ok I see your point. But in fairness, I got three upvotes. I'm coming at it from the point of view that I like to enforce my own standards through example. OP seems to value honesty, so I would be honest as a way of displaying value. But it's not somehow a requirement that people tell or not tell in this situation. Everyone has their own morality. No one can judge what OP should or shouldn't do. It's subjective. Still , OP sounds like he may be leaning in that direction.

Well maybe start by acknowledging that you do it too so it's not personal. Of course you won't like it if it happens to you, but it's natural. That's different from "hopeless" because in reality, if you are a 7 you can stick with 7s if it is such a concern. You have that option. That's what I meant by taking a risk - choose not to trade up in order to have more control (a gamble, but increasing your chance of stability in a LTR). Or you can trade up and worry more, essentially. At least that's h…
/r/askTRP11/09/18 11:38 AM
1

Would you trade a 7 or 8 for a 9 yourself? If so, you are probably attracting like minded women who would do the same. From a RP perspective most women would. But it's worthwhile to recognize most men would as well. If you don't like that setup, at least acknowledge that you play into it. You need to take a risk at a certain point if you don't like that reality.
/r/askTRP11/09/18 10:04 AM
1

Yes, I agree. Women ultimately decide these things. But that is their biological imperative.
/r/askTRP11/09/18 09:07 AM
1

Well, I think it's not as easy for women as it would seem. Having to be the selectors of the species is a big job, one that most women might not even be taking seriously enough, IMO. That said, if you are frustrated by the way things are, I suppose that's fair. Although I can't help but wonder if there's somehow a bigger issue at play here. Maybe you are over emphasizing this issue because you lack meaning in your life in other areas? Also, If you are feeling used by women I recommend not paying…

Essentially, yeah. But I'm sure you can see that this doesn't make practical sense IRL. Resigning yourself to a life without love is a bit overdramatic. And deciding all women are evil is clearly overlooking good feminine qualities. Be a little hopeful . Someone once said to me "Go ahead and look stupid. Who are you trying to impress? Who do you think is keeping track of what you do?" No one.
/r/askTRP11/09/18 03:59 AM
1

That's biology. From the perspective of supply and demand, men have a lot less to contribute to humanity. Don't blame women for evolutionary design.
/r/askTRP11/09/18 02:58 AM

Bahahaha 😭 too good. Yeah, in theory the social dynamics should be transferable tho.

/r/askTRP11/09/18 02:52 AM

Ok fair. Maybe stay away from video games, drinking, etc. Just long enough to figure out what else helps you pass the time. Discover a few other interests. Or get opinionated about something. Watch a bad movie.

They usually don't actually. Statistically speaking.

Oh my god. Apologize. You were a dick. And not in a good way. You aren't beta every time you have a shred of human emotion. Lighten up. It's common sense to apologize when you know you went overboard.
/r/askTRP11/09/18 02:43 AM

You are addicted to addicts, sounds like.
/r/askTRP11/09/18 02:32 AM
2

Honestly, part of RP is acknowledging that you are spreading yourself thin. We call it an "abundance mindset", but it's also a scarcity mindset in that we are assuming it is difficult to find lasting depth with one particular person. Part of sleeping with multiple people is that your plate will too. That is the trade-off.
/r/askTRP11/09/18 02:30 AM
5

Treat this as a good thing that happened and continue being friends with her like before. You don't need to put on the "aloof persona". Just chill out. If it turn into something more, then it sounds like you would like that based on your post. Don't run from it.
/r/askTRP11/09/18 02:22 AM

Ask. You can't read her mind, man. And she obviously needs to learn to speak up. Help her practice.
/r/askTRP11/09/18 02:17 AM
5

More likely a comfort test. Women are sometimes nervous meeting strangers online.
/r/askTRP11/09/18 02:15 AM

Comments that are a bit flippant, silly, rude or emotional are tests. Saying "I'm not interested", "the answer is no" or "let's be friends" are rejections.
/r/askTRP11/09/18 02:14 AM
3

Calling it "a oneitis" is a good first step 😜 lmao but seriously, there's nothing wrong with a bit of wallowing. If you feel like moping about it, go ahead. Maybe it's just me, but it's sometimes fun to be moody. Don't worry, you won't be 95 staring out the window waiting for her. Promise.
/r/askTRP11/09/18 02:11 AM

If you guys are already friends I would just assume it's friendly in nature. That would be logical.

Because the vow is "Till death do us part". That's the agreement.
/r/askTRP11/09/18 12:24 AM

It's a rejection unfortunately. I recommend you stay classy and say something like "I have enjoyed talking to you. Thank you for your honesty."
/r/askTRP11/09/18 12:23 AM

Thank her and flirtatiously tell her she will have to see yours in person.
/r/askTRP11/09/18 12:20 AM

I would tell her. You would expect honesty yourself, no?
/r/askTRP11/09/18 12:18 AM

Don't call yourself a "desperate beta". And give it a week of space, then try again. Women actually do get sick quite frequently.

Focus on demonstrating your positives. Forget the voice for now.
/r/askTRP11/09/18 12:15 AM

Why not try? I'm with you.
/r/askTRP11/09/18 12:13 AM

Depends on how much you like ice cream 😜 But seriously, aim to have a good time. If you would prefer her just to come over, do that. But, if you like ice cream why not?
/r/askTRP11/09/18 12:11 AM

Go for it! Sounds promising.

I think it is a bit soon to assume this is a permanent ghosting. You have other plates and a kid. Why wouldn't she have someone else keeping her busy as well? You probably aren't available all of the time. Give her time. Also, as for the "who is more damaged" question, you sound equally damaged because you both sound simultaneously invested in this and casual about it. In terms of what to do differently next time, maybe take things less personally. It sounds like this person is going to re-conta…

Fair enough. It just sounds like you might benefit from one based on your post. Otherwise, maybe just look for activities that you are interested in enough that time passes faster. For me, if I'm doing an activity and I notice time flying, I assume it's good for me.
/r/askTRP10/09/18 11:26 PM

It's just a personal theory. But if you refuse birth control, I believe you will automatically be more selective about who you spend time with with minimal extra effort.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/09/18 11:24 PM

Makes sense. I'd give her time.

I would look for a relationship. You sound lonely.

If you do continue talking to her, don't expect her to sleep with you. She's obviously on the fence.
/r/askTRP09/09/18 05:20 AM

Get off your birth control. This will automatically make you more careful who you select and invest your time in. When you fall in love off birth control, this is the person you marry.

1

Settle down.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/18 05:15 AM

I wouldn't, but I also have only been with one guy in my entire life. So in that sense, yes I would reject them because I am taken and reject everyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/18 05:15 AM
1

I am neither for it or against it, because guess what? Nobody needs my permission to be fat. I will absolutely treat everyone kindly regardless of their weight because that's who I am. Also, there is no evidence that fat is detrimental to sex lives. You just personally aren't attracted to it. (side note, I am a woman who has always had a normal BMI)
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/18 05:13 AM
1

I agree. But I think both men and women need more real connection.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/18 05:10 AM
1

I think people seek out TRP when they are in a negative space. Nobody who is doing well would need such a community (except for the fun game-playing aspects). So I think the toxic atmosphere is an unfortunate consequence of the members who are too jaded to seek out real connection.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/18 05:08 AM
1

It is the fault of toxic masculinity. Which I think is very different from saying it is the fault of men. Most men have a neutral masculinity.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/18 05:07 AM

Feminism is necessary because men do not have women's best interests at heart the majority of the time. That said, I believe traditionalism is valuable.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/18 04:56 AM

No. The only time the past is the past is if there has been a significant and lasting change.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/18 04:54 AM
1

Why would you drop her like a hot coal if she cheated? Just curious. It sounds like you believe you had to express that to her (indicating a lack of trust) and yet you are still there while simultaneously threatening to leave if she makes a mistake.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/18 04:53 AM

I lived in a two parent home with no cheating. But, it was an abusive home. As a person who was abused as a child, I wish they had just cheated.

I am intrigued by redpill as well. And I even agree with enough aspects of it so as to be able to contribute to their forums constructively. That said, there is one element of their theory that is off: They are basically only interested in promoting an alpha mentality, when in reality, beta males are more desirable by females. This is true across species. Females prefer provider males. The leftover males in virtually any species seek out multiple partners to compensate for the fact that they can…

Seek genuine connection.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/18 04:42 AM

Because Redpill does not offer anything for women. It is primarily a male oriented community. Keep your confidence. Cats are amazing! (and no I'm not a single lady lol)

I got married as soon as I could financially. It's a way of being all-in., which is a scary but fulfilling way to live. The fact that it might not work is the exact reason to give it a try. Who wants to live their life halfway? There is so much shame in divorce, but in my opinion it means you were brave enough to say that you think permanent love is possible. That said, I cannot count the number of people who have imposed their negative views of marriage on me by listing off my past mistakes and…

I think that consent should be about making each other feel good. I also think this means that having sex with people you know will always be better, because you will know what they want/how they communicate and vice versa.

Ok
/r/RedPillWomen07/09/18 12:09 PM

Because even in the animal kingdom, betas qualities are superior, to the point that in non-humans, we refer to this behaviour as alpha behaviour, This mixing up of terms completely does not link up with evolutionary psychology and is a huge flaw. In any other species, providing is considered an alpha quality. Beta are animals that can't provide/hold down a mate and seek out multiple partners as a result.

Not sure why I joined this subreddit if this is the reaction. Are you at all familiar with Redpill?

Talk about what you are interested in and explain why you love it. Then defend your opinion. Men love a passionate woman.
