you fucked up and probably failed to move early (a few weeks? how long did she know the guy before they fucked? that's your calibration from here on out) and got into the emotional weeds. sad thing is, most women don't give a fuck about your emotions, at least not in the sense that they think they do. you acted like a girlfriend, now she's treating you like one. i would ice her hard, and when she asks what's going on, don't tell her. you are a comfort piece for her, and it's your fault. there is…

mainly for me it was the realization that you can be more forward if you're a little ridiculous and obviously don't take yourself seriously.

basically he's playing a game and everyone is invited. he says over the top flattering things in a way that light hearted and not too serious. obviously it has to be tweaked for a younger crowd, but I think that's the essence.

"what are you doing this weekend? would you like to get dinner? " this is literally the easiest job in the world, you could probably be eating your boogers while you ask the question. EDIT: real talk, I know if I were 45 and going to dinner with an 18 year old coworker, I would be more at ease if I had something in writing too. that could be as easy as you texting later "looking forward to dinner, glad you accepted my invite"

the other advice is good, but remember the number one thing is feel good, have a good time, and go with the flow a bit. I agree generally with don't kiss her immediately, but if she's very warm and touchy a quick warm kiss hello is normal. everything here is general rules and the only real thing is learn to read the situation.

keep it light and fun. if you're having a good time and speaking off the cuff, people will take it lightly. actually one thing that helped me was watching better call Saul with how he fliers with old ladies. it's an extreme example, but something clicked for me.

pretty much anything can be a shit test, and some guys have one experience where they get burned by someone and try to turn it into a universal rule. there is also no system of credentials on here, and most people are here because they want to do better with women.

If you're high functioning autistic, there's a decent chance you're well suited to figuring shit out, so: figure out getting in good shape figure out getting money figure out the mechanics of social interaction youll be fine. Edit: you ever read Look Me In The Eye by John Elder Robinson? q

People always push to ignore an ex. I'm not sure why. generally, people are more fucked up over it than they think. people think they can handle stuff, or should be able to handle stuff, then stuff happens that they couldn't handle. also, if you have established a relationship, it's good to let it dissipate before trying to establish a new type of interaction. like, when i broke up with my ex because i moved, i kept calling her baby on the phone. it was awkward. i have a question about this genuine smile shit. i grew up pretty isolated, so i was never socialized during my teenage years. also, i was horribly depressed, so i spent all my effort making my face look neutral no matter what my emotional state. so now, i have a hard time smiling unless i'm really feeling it. if i'm with friends playing around, it happens all the time. i can't smile for cameras unless i trick myself into laughing. the problem is that when i go to approach i get anxious, and my …

none of those are insulting the person to bring down their self-worth. responding too quickly to texts communicates desperation, and people lose interest with texts. you should use texting to meet up with the person again, and set the pace very slow so you don't overdo it. you should not simply validate a pretty and popular girl because she's asking for it. you do not become attracted to someone who does your bidding, you become attracted to someone who is worthy of your time. you should suggest…

right. it's difficult, sure. i do think it's more difficult for men. women aren't expected to approach. they aren't expected to drive the conversation. it's not like it's a walk in the park for anybody, but it seems like all the problems listed are amplified by having the responsibility of being the aggressor, all while being told you're creepy or stupid or lame if you do it wrong. i'm glad you're getting laid. i'm going through a dry spell, despite recently breaking through and being able to be…

i just think it's far easier to focus on a single aspect of yourself than to try to change everything all at once. OP is having trouble with relapsing, so the advice he received is to try doing it incrementally. what this means is that OP will have to pinpoint the actual behavior on his part and on the part of friends that is the problem, and change that behavior. otherwise, he's going in with a broad overview and when small things happen that he hasn't thought about, it derails his whole game. …

one step at a time. if someone pushes you around and laughs at you, be more witty and fuck up their little show. there are guys that will come up to you and sort of grab you and jerk you around in a friendly manner. the two ways i handle this, based on how well i know the person, is to either say in a monotone, "oh, that's really a neat thing you're doing," or just start caressing their face all over their nose and eyes and forehead with my open palm. when i was 13, my dad and brother used to ge…

i agree with you about mystery, but i do think: 7 hours til sex? wat. is more about how many contact hours it typically takes for a woman to be receptive. it of course varies, and he talks about breaking that rule all the damn time. however, it matches up with my average experience. well, the common wisdom is don't buy the woman drinks. but that is a good question. i think you might want to at least let her know you're not drinking alcohol in a casual fashion, in case she's trying to pace you. :) i don't find bars to be very comfortable places, so i tend to avoid them. i just disagree with the idea that you have to pace the person if you don't want to. i mean, what if you don't drink?
/r/seduction14/02/12 05:05 PM

that's kind of stupid, imho. if she's getting sloshed, and you get sloshed, you're no less likely to get accused of rape, your judgement is just impaired. and you're not pacing her in BAC anyway, unless you weigh her and get her body fat before you start drinking with her.

what has helped for me is making casual conversation with women i meet. i have casual friendships with women who frequent places i frequent. i develop these friendships for the sake of friendship, and for the sake of maintaining a rational perspective on women. if you keep striking out, game without the intention of closing. likening it to your analogy, if you can't run a mile, run a half-mile. i'm currently trying to shift my communication with women so i sexualize the conversation naturally an…

i think that as long as you're aware you're 'blasting past' stuff, you're at least better off than the clingy people who won't leave. sometimes, it's appropriate, sometimes it's not. but it's hard to tell if you haven't experienced it. put another way, shrug off the first social cue to leave. but don't ignore them all.

well, you also have to at least try to escalate if you're interested, or de-escalate if you're not. your boner is the elephant in the room, if you will, and it must be addressed somehow. i've been in situations where it's inappropriate or she's made it clear she doesn't want to have sex for whatever reason, and i say, "hey, i'm going to go masturbate, because this is not going away otherwise." simple as that. it's just awkward doing nothing. i mean, what do you think is going through her mind? s…

since they're probably 'validating' you, you could just turn around and pat them on the head and tell them they're a good kid, and you know they'd do the same. and then brush their cheek with the side of your thumb like you're a granny going to to pinch them, and smile. (EDIT: in other words, invade their space with inappropriate affection. this shows that you're comfortable being in their space and taking liberties. it can also get you punched in the face.) or, as others say, work on your body …

an interesting thing happened to me recently. i am really blowing all of the technical stuff with girls, and being nervous around them, but i just fixed a nebulous relationship with a girl and started thinking of myself as available. i'm attractive, but pretty unkempt, especially since it's finals. my hair is poofy and stupid, and i dress in black t-shirts and pants. however, i have been getting so much goddamned attention from women, it's ridiculous. i just need to quit blowing it, but at least…

you can judge pressure and what feels good by doing it to yourself. also, ask "is this the right amount of pressure?" depending on your leverage, use gravity and arm muscles to apply most of the pressure, or your hands will get uber tired. you generally want broad pressure, not pointy pressure. keep your nails trimmed. this will also help when your fingers are in her vagina.

if you're making out, the key is "let", not "make" if you're dancing around so she doesn't notice you have an erection, you're doing it wrong. she's touching your body. your penis is attached. act accordingly.

i guess my problem whenever i do get to the questions asking phase is what do you do when you run out of questions? i suppose i could tell a related story that demonstrates my value, or talk about something related, but it's always nerve-wracking coming up with something to say. and i feel like i've had a relatively interesting life. i grew up in mexico and went to school there and worked with three other people running a tech business for 2 years, was brad pitt's stand-in during the mexico film…

i'm just going to reply to both of these messages in one place. the barrier for me is where i go up to talk to people, and they don't look at me. like look the opposite direction don't look at me. i understand with girls sometimes, they are nervous about something, but is it fucking normal that 80-90% of the girls i see on a regular basis won't allow the slightest bit of opportunity to just fucking say hello a few minutes before class starts? i don't get it. i'm assuming it's something i'm doing…

not enough necessary conversations? you're not doing enough with your life. i don't know. i'm working 20 hours a week, taking 18 credits, have been working 20 hours a week producing a classmate's song, which i need to finish by sunday for a music video. last score check on a jazz chart is monday, so i have to do that this weekend, too. though i should be a junior and have no background in classical music, i had to take a graduate chamber music course, for which i just had a quiz and have to turn…

How can you let your maleness oppress you? My god, what a beautiful thing. How delightful it feels to get to be chivalrous. well, i walk around campus in a relatively small music program, and girls in my classes won't look at me, so it's rather difficult to initiate any sort of interaction with any of them. i say, "hey! how's it going?" and they either ignore me or don't hear me. it's oppressive. i am even pretty attractive, so i'm guessing that there's something about me that is threatening.

the distinction is made between kindness and niceness. being "nice" in the context of this post is about being superficially nice. as in, "well, that's nice, but..." nice etymologically derives from a word meaning "ignorant", and it's still got tinges of vapid inoffensiveness to it. that's what "nice" means in this context. tldr, you are a nice guy, but not a Nice Guy.

the way you can tell, both about the men and the women, is if you inform them, and they make excuses and steadfastly stick to their lame script that is hurting other people or making others uncomfortable. it's very common. EDIT: and the quotes are not to excuse the personal responsibility of women to run their lives, but it's advice for men on how to be happy. the answer is not, "change women," because you can't do that. you can only change yourself. when i am talking to a woman about a nice guy…

i disagree about going to the gym. it's alone time spent improving his life. he shouldn't use it as his sole means of coping, but i wouldn't discourage it. and he may have been distant, but he had an arrangement with her, and he didn't sense the gravity of the situation. maybe he could've been more attentive, but he was tired. cut him some slack. or as luckyscs so eloquently put it: "Fuck you" :P

Good luck applying dictionary definitions in real life. what the fuck ever, bro. good luck with your english. i even qualified it by saying relationship in any capacity. you're being intentionally dense, or you're--as i have posited--stupid. like you're doing, i would enhance the distance, and make sure i'm busy and have somewhere to go right after class. engage other classmates, and have less to say to her. let her work for your attention, you already know she values it. she made an almost pitiful joke about how I HAVE to be lusting after her. Once again, I casually brushed her off ("Yeah, yeah, OF COURSE I am"). i would've probably said the same thing, then kicked myself for hours for not telling her she was obviously projecting.

I imagine you'd be boosting the fat girl's confidence more than shattering it, so maybe that tactic is mutually beneficial? as long as you're being cool about it. but then he talks about jerking the hot girl around, just like you played the fat girl, by rejecting her and reeling her back in. otherwise, yeah.

it's a good point. his suggestions pass into the realm of a little bit psychotic when you're supposed to be playing with a fat girl's emotions to practice so you can get good enough to play with the emotions of the hottie you really want. and i generally defend pua shit... insightful nonetheless.

whenever i date a girl, i ask her what she would prefer. i never try to get rid of a guy unless he's actually annoying me, or i know she wants me to. even if she likes me to do it, i suggest she practice while i'm there, and i can handle it if it doesn't work. that way she can better handle guys when i'm not around.

not if it turns into a real relationship where you actually respect one another. it's a minor point, but it's sort of a red flag before you know the person well. i think you're best off deflecting.

i would recommend ANY dance classes, because it puts you in contact with women in a manufactured environment where your value is really high due to the male/female ratio. also, if you're a younger guy, you may be around somewhat older women, who will likely treat you very well, which helps with how you perceive your relationship to women. even outside the realm of seduction, i recommend it to young guys who feel bad about themselves or lack confidence.
