You have no idea of how lucky you are. Imagine if this would've happened 5-6 years down the road. Two kids, house, savings, pension... You would have lost half of the assets, kids completely, and stuck with child support for 18 years an alimony for God knows how long. This is a very likely scenario.

Everything else is second. This ends with circus and a financial settlement. We are just believing in an illusion called justice. I'd suggest an eye opening book "The Law" by Frederick Bastiat.

My two cents on this. Weinstein disgusts me, however probably most of the guys with such power would have done the same thing. If all these accusers were so talented why didn't they followed a career on Broadway? I didn't hear any piano player or Opera singer being raped. I guess it's the difference between talent and a prostitute. And if it was rape how come you file your case 10-20 years later then settle for a large amount. Isn't that called prostitution?

It appears that the test took in consideration the IQ of the mother. However I find that some of this studies mix up correlation with causation. No mention about degree of obesity or information about the father. I'm not sure how relevant the study is based on that article.
