2	I can be a really funny guy, but sometimes I think I try too hard and can be off putting. Can you be charismatic and attractive without using humor often? He meant "being a joker is not sexy". There's a difference between being funny by telling jokes, as the OP describes, and funny in a more general sense, like killing the waiter. I'm looking conversations with a girl who you've met before, I.e in student parties, house parties etc. So like a more natural pick up, not literally a stranger from the street ETA: I appreciate my original OP wasn't asking that.
