I am almost 6'3 and never been laid so it doesn't guarentee you anything at all. I'm sure it helps, but I haven't seen any results.

I'm almost 6'3 and have never gotten with a girl before. 19 yo. I'm sure the height helps but I've yet to see any results.

Fuck that's childish of her. I wouldn't expect that from a 12 year old let alone a grown woman.

I've experienced a similar thing with the beta/alpha shift. I sometimes overcompensate for all those years as a beta and end up upsetting people. It's about finding that balance.

I remember when I was a massive beta in highschool, I was bullied by this guy. When I reported him to the teachers, they told me that he couldn't be punished because he was homosexual (as it turns out) and that we should 'get along'.

You should put this on the main sub as well.

Fuck what has happened to academia?

That's disappointing. My prof. expresses that she doesn't care what you say as long as you back it up. Though I probably can't take her word for this.

Do you mean it will be marked down not on justification and merit but on its perceived women-hating?

Radio silence it is. Cheers mate

She ignored the date offer, and a "Hey what's up" I sent afterwards. As soon as I used that line "I don't want to double book - are we still on?" she was straight back. "Sorry I'm working then - maybe another time." I'll give it a week and try again. I'll try a less-aggressive ask-out method this time.

Yeah, I might have been too aggressive. So just wait until next weekend. What would I say to reestablish messaging and test the waters?

If she doesn't reply, is it worth double-messaging? As in, if I'm gonna next her anyway, it can't hurt to try to pull her in.

I understand what you're on about. I did consider this but ignored my gut feeling. What kind of words would you suggest in said text? I don't want to sound needy/butthurt. Any examples I could use? Something like: "Don't think you're fun enough for me?"?

Sent her a message: "[place] Saturday night. Swing by at 9pm. Wear something nice." That was four hours ago - no response. Was I too forward/bold? I thought that was how you're meant to do it. She seemed really into me in tinder messages and text messages - emojies, 'haha' s, the whole works. Really confused. Perhaps I should have asked her if she was free instead of assuming she was? I was trying to be assertive/proactive.

Due to work commitments I have no time for the next 3 days. I do like coffee and beer. I'm really looking for some literal advice here. Do I simply text "Meet at [cafe] or [bar] at 9PM."?

That's the plan dude. Any advice for my current situation though?

Splitting the bill is essentially paying for yourself. What's the difference? You think she'll pay for you?

Focus on school, part time job. Ignore girls for now. Work on your SMV. Get your license/car as soon as you're old enough. Lucky to have found TRP so young.

I quit cold turkey but some find it best to limit it to once a week/fortnight.

I used to be a massive beta. Haven't seen this particular girl in about four years. She could hardly recognize me. She was flirting with me. She never mentioned "How much I've changed." I don't think she wanted to remember how I was. She was only thinking about how I am now, and maybe wondering what happening in between those four years.

I planned on something fairly smooth, but it didn't come out that way. After a bit of talking I said: Hey, did you want to go out for coffee tomorrow?" Whereas I should have been a bit more assertive and made it more like: "Coffee at 2 tomorrow. You free?"

Appreciated BP. Yeah, that makes sense, she isn't interested. Next-ed.

I understand what you're saying. I was truly outcome independent. I believe I was shaking simply because I was nervous. I'd never asked a girl out before. Just like before a big race, I'd like to win of course, but I don't care if I lose. Nevertheless, you might have 'butterflies' in your stomach and be nervous. I hope the analogy furthers my point.

Is it better to assume the answer is yes, rather than ask a question? "Let's go out for coffee, how's Thursday sound?" rather than: "Do you want to go out for coffee? What day are you free?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
