Just got my first tinder number - took five responses to get it, thanks to some tips I found here.

I messaged her number saying my name. Asked her what she was doing, she responded, and I made a joke about what she was doing to which she replied "yeah haha".

Now what? I've read much that says texting should only be for logistics. I'm not free for 4 days, so should I simply set up a date, then go radio silent until then?

I'm also interested in where I should take her? We could go to the pub, but there's always the chance that some guy takes her. Coffee would be a safer bet perhaps? I really need some advice here.

For some context, I'm a 19 yo virgin, never been on a date. Kissed one girl last year, that's about it.

UPDATE:

Sent her a message:

"[place] Saturday night. Swing by at 9pm. Wear something nice."

That was four hours ago - no response. Was I too forward/bold? I thought that was how you're meant to do it. She seemed really into me in tinder messages and text messages - emojies, 'haha' s, the whole works. Really confused.

Perhaps I should have asked her if she was free instead of assuming she was? I was trying to be assertive/proactive.
